Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 01:19 AM

Leo laughed a little. "I bet." he said watching her look through. He looked around and shook his head. "I dunno, it looks like the plaque isn't done maybe." He stated watching Liva with a roll of his eyes. "For gods sake Livia you watched the Grudge how can you be scared of the dark?" he asked in the time it took Ari to move over near him. Upon which his attention was diverted and he looked at Ari again. "Well...." He reached out and gently knocked on the leg of the statue. "Ow...very sturdy maybe of a mix of metals?" He suggested shaking his hand. Then going back to her joke about him being a lady killer. "Hey now I have a six pack but only too arms and it works out fine for me." He joked.

Livia sighed nodding some. "The grudge is a made up story derived from folk lore. Its not like I was the blond who nearly got killed." She pointed out lightly. Looking at Dom she nodded again and took in a deep breath calming herself. She started mentally telling herself to chill. Keeping herself distracted with Leo's conversation with Ari.

Fallacious 02-04-2010 01:35 AM

Eyes wide when he flicked the statue, Ari was about to yell at Leo when he brought up his abs. She laughed. "You kill ladies in your free time then?" Reaching out, she poked his abs, surprised by hard they felt. How was it she didn't know he had a six pack?

Dom stood behind Livia, both his arms wrapping around her securely, his chin resting on her shoulder for a moment. "You guys, can we go watch you flirt in a part of the museum that we're actually allowed to be in, please?"

Ari blushed and took her hand back from Leo's stomach, her fingers brushing against the seven armed man statue. A shiver run through her hand. "Whoa... Leo. When you touched the statue did it feel... warm?"

Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 01:49 AM

Leo grinned. "Only the smart ones." He said lightly when she poked him he smiled. "See told you." His attention was diverted to Dom. "Um..." He moved his hand up and down in and example motion. "...just cause we're not as subtle..." He said his voice trailing as he turned back to Ari. "Um...maybe...do you think its a chemical reaction with the oils on our hands?" He suggested having been one of the few students who enjoyed chemistry in school. He brought up references often. "You guys come over here seriously we've touched an ancient artifact and now you guys get too to." he stated.

Livia relaxed a little in Dom's arms but she was still uneasy. Looking at Leo and Ari she nearly came to giggles, nearly. Picking up on Leo's comment she felt her checks starting to catch fire, not literally. "If I touch it can we leave?" She asked her voice had stopped quivering and now was almost angry. It was one of psycho mood changes.

Fallacious 02-04-2010 02:00 AM

Dom rolled his eyes in annoyance and gave Livia a little squeeze, as if to tell her to ignore Leo. "You don't have touch it if you don't want to, Livia." He reached out and tapped the man on the top of his head. "There. I touched it. Is that good enough? Can we go now?"

Ari shrugged a little. "Maybe that's it." Chemistry was one of her worst subjects and she had relied heavily on Leo to help her pass it. Her smart girl reputation would have been ruined if people ever found out how unscientific her mind was. She was a dreamer and preferred subjects like English and History. She reached out again, but didn't quite touch it. "I think... it might be generating heat. Livia, do you feel this?"

Dom reached out again, a frown creasing his face. The air closer to the statue did feel warmer. "I really think we should go, you guys..."

Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 02:15 AM

Livia sighed lightly and reached out and placed her hand on one of the mini statue hands. She pulled it back quick though. "There." She said looking at Leo. "Now lets go.." She stated firmly. When it came to the heat question though she put her hand close to it. "Yeah its warm. SO lets go before it does something and we get blamed." She stated hoping reason would justify the action enough to make them budge.

Leo put his hand by it again and grinned. "ah man wouldn't you like something like this to be in your house during our winters?" He asked with a laugh. "But seriously I wonder what causes it, maybe as mix of everything. I think this is why they keep this stuff it temperature controlled cases. With certain gas balances." He stated with a shrug. He grinned at Ari when she had agreed almost off offhandedly. He remembered getting her through chemistry, that was fun, saving her rep. and then lying a bit so people though she was tutoring him. Ah those were good times.

((Oh did you want the two different sets of friends to meet briefly on like a middle plane or just swap and maybe meet latter?))

Fallacious 02-04-2010 02:22 AM

((Maybe they should see a flash of each other, but not actually meet. Just something to let them know the others exist? At least for now...))

"Before it does something?" Dom asked, quirking an eyebrow. "What is it going to do, it's a statue. And it's probably hooked up to something under this table... or there's some trick to it. Maybe it's like an ancient solar powered thing? It's been sitting in the sun. It could have soaked up the rays and warmed itself up that way, right?"

He reached out, taking a step forward and pushing Livia closer to the table holding the statue as he did so, and picked the entire thing up. "It's light... like... really light. I bet it's fake, whatever it is." He flipped it upside down to check for a stamp or something. "It was probably made in Taiwan."

"Dom!" Ari's eyes widened when he picked it up so casually. "Put that down! You shouldn't mess with it like that." She reached out and touched Dom's arm, scared that if she tried to take the statue from him it might slip. "Come on... just put it down and let's go."

Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 02:36 AM

Livia gasped slightly. "Dom put it down, does it matter if its fake or not?!" She asked with a shallow breath. She could feel her feet dig into the floor slightly so she couldn't move closer to the table. Her hair clip slightly dug into her head as it pressed against Dom's chest.

Leo reached over touching Ari's shoulder. "Careful you two fake or not if it brakes we're all in deep crap. Seriously. You two win put it down and we'll all make our way back down to look at the on display exhibits." He said quickly in a breath. He knew being up here was bad, touching the statue was stupid, but picking it up was asking for jail time.

((Sounds good to me.))

Fallacious 02-04-2010 02:50 AM

"Alright, alright... fine. I'll put it down. I'm not hurting anything." Dom flipped the statue right side up and that was when it happened. Pain tore through his body, white hot and settled in his head like a headache. He could barely keep his eyes open but in the moments before they closed he saw something so strange he would never forget it.

Four people, so very like him and his friends, that it could have been a mirror image if not for subtle differences between them all. Their clothes were different, they weren't standing in the same way... but he was sure that if their expressions could be seen they would be identical.

Ari didn't have the same pain tolerance as Dom and barely even caught half a glimpse at the other four people before her eyes closed and she fainted. When the pain cleared, she was on the ground in the museum... but it was different, so very different. The room was put together, the smells of construction gone, all the plaques and display cases in order... the table she should have fallen onto, the statue that could have skewered her, were both gone. It was simply the four of them in a very different position than they'd been in a moment before.

Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 03:15 AM

Leo winced bending over slightly as the pain surged through him. He saw what looked like them but different...he just saw their faces. He blacked out a little and when he came to again he was wabbling to regain his balance. Looking around he took in the new museum. "What the hell?" He asked looking around with a confused and some what shocked manner. He looked at Ari. "Are you alright?" He asked worriedly.

Livia had been in a few fights and done some stupid things that caused her personal pain. None of which compared to the pain she felt suddenly. She was probably the only one who would have screamed if the air hadn't been almost pressed out of her lungs by the pain. She crippled over but just as she fell to her knees the pain had faded and she was bracing herself on something. She looked up and stared at the new place. Gasping lightly for air as she looked around. "What the hell?" She asked gasping.

Fallacious 02-04-2010 03:40 AM

Dom's arms had wrapped around Livia once more and he went down with her to his knees but held her up from fully falling to the ground. As the pain cleared he opened his eyes again and blinked against how light the room suddenly was. The shadows were gone... but so was a lot of other things. "Ow." He shifted his weight and turned Livia to face him. "Are you okay? You didn't get hurt?" He pushed her hair back from his face, his eyes reading worry over her safety.

"I'm okay," Ari said from the floor. As she sat up she felt a dizzy spell coming on and curled into a ball, resting her head on her knees. "I think I might be sick... what the hell was that?"

~

A world away, literally, Adriana opened her eyes after a flash of pain and felt like she was dreaming. "Where the hell are we?" The museum had gone dark and the smell of paint asalted her nose... but as she reached out with her powers she felt a chill run through her. The earth here... it felt different. She couldn't place how but she felt like she was in an alien place. Looking up, she saw her three friends there, too, and laying on his side was a statue of their deity. "What... just happened?"

"I... have no clue." Damien sat on the floor, his hand on his stomach, the wind still knocked out of him.

Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 03:56 AM

Livia took a moment to respond she didn't know if she was ok. "Ye-yeah I'm alright I think." She said softly. "That was awful." She said looking around she felt her hair clip fall to the ground, it normally came out after a while, but now it was like an omen. She pouted slightly looking around. "Whats going on?" She asked softly all sorts of confused and shooken up.

Leo sighed slightly sitting down next to Ari and rubbing her back. "Its ok, you can be sick." He said softly. He couldn't see anyone else in this part of the museum at the moment but he did notice a statue similar to the one Dom had been holding in a glass case. He seemed to bet he quickest one to recover. He still had slight pain in his fingers but he figured it would also fade soon. "Are you two ok?" He asked looking at Dom and Livia in real concern. It was rare that he had a serious tone of voice and now was once such time. His hair was all over the place which he would find a way to fix latter. For now he was more worried about his friends and weather that freak incident had hurt anyone.

----~~~

Leonardo stood up he had 'landed', he guessed on his back smacking his head on the ground. "Oh...god damn it that hurt." He muttered standing up. He looked around and sighed "Adriana are you ok?" He asked looking around. He felt his hands warm up and he illuminated the area they were in with a little bit of fire. "Uh...we'll we're not at home thats for sure." he stated simply. "It looks like the museum is under construction. Does anyone remember what we were doing?" He asked looking back at the other too.

Livian press a hand to her chest and then took in a breath. She flicked the two braid that sat on the side of her face away and stood up. "Whoa what a rush." She said softly shaking it off. Her head spun and she nearly fell back over but she caught herself on the table. Looking at their deity she tilted her head. "Sweet mother of pearl who would do such a foul thing?" She asked as she got steady enough to offer Damien a hand.

Fallacious 02-04-2010 04:13 AM

"I don't know what is going on," Dom said softly. "We'll figure it out. Let's go downstairs... we should be able to find the rest of the group or page one of the teachers from the lobby. Then we can go back to the bus and relax there until dinner time, okay?"

Ari closed her eyes and concentrated on holding perfectly still, trying to stop her head from spinning. Leo's hand on her back was comforting and made her feel better, at least emotionally.

"Yeah, we're okay Leo. Just a bit shaken up." Dom looked to Leo with a serious expression on his face. If not for not wanting to leave the girls alone right now he would have asked to have a private word with him. It would have to wait. "Come on girls, let's at least try standing up... then we can get going, okay?"

~

"Yeah. I'm fine. That was just... intense." She smiled reassuringly at Leonardo and stood up, brushing her butt off as she did so. Her eyes shifted colors, rimming in black as she used her powers over darkness to look beyond the added glow of the fire. "We are definitely... not at home. I was just in my room, studying. I've got that big test at the end of the week..."

Damien took Livian's offered hand and stood up as well. When he stood he saw what Livian had thought was so foul and glared. "Son of a..." He reached out and righted the statue before bowing slightly before it, offering up a prayer for forgiveness for whomsoever was so disrespectful.

Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 04:26 AM

((Got to get off for the night.))

Livia nodded some and sat for a moment holding her head. She felt a headache coming on but tried to shake it off as she grabbed her hair clip. Standing up she braced herself on Dom before looking around. "Are we even in the same place?" She asked him lightly. Her hair falling out around her again making it hard to see her face. It was a slightly sad expression that gave her away. Worry didn't always show through but fear and being sad did. She looked around again holding her hand up to block the light as she did so.

Leo caught the glance and nodded softly to Dom. He'd have to speak with him latter. Wrapping an arm around Ari's waist he hoisted her up letting her use him for stability. "Come on lets get down stairs before something else happens." He said before stopping. "This has plaque." He said softly with a shrug. "What ever."

---~~~

Livian gave a prayer too before looking around. "I was..." She thought hard. "I was at a party...Showing off I think." She said thinking about with a slight shrug. Her silvery hair fell down along her back as she flicked it behind her. "Yep I was at a party teaching a few dance moves to the kids I tutor on weekends."

Leonardo thought hard again. "I was writing a letter back to my mother," HE stated with a nod. "Using an inkwell pen that marked me before I left." He said looking at his hand with a frown.

Fallacious 02-04-2010 05:58 AM

Ari leaned against Leo for a moment and cast him a queasy smile. She stayed close to him as they walked out into the hallway. Everything was bright and finished here as well. "I don't like this. It all feels so... wrong. Like if we all close our eyes we'll wake up and find we've been dreaming."

Up ahead of them, Dom pushed the elevator button for the first floor. When the doors opened he stepped inside and wrapped his arms around Livia again. He wasn't sure what to expect, but a feeling in the pit of his stomach suggested he wasn't going to like it.

~

"Alright. So none of was at a museum a minute ago," Damien said without mentioning to the others where he'd been. Right now he wanted to avoid hurting feelings and he knew Livian wouldn't be happy to know he'd been making out with another girl back in his dorm room. What she didn't know wouldn't hurt her. It wasn't like he'd been caught before now and he doubted he'd be caught now. There were more pressing matters at hand.

"Let's get out of here and really see where we are... then we can find out how to get home."

((Good night!))

Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 03:24 PM

Leo walked with Ari to the elevator making sure everyone was inside. "I'm curious do you really think that the class is here?" He asked he knew Livia was thinking it too by the way she looked at him. "It would have taken at least a week to finish this, I don't know it just doesn't seem likely." He stated with a nervous sigh.

Livia looked up at Dom as her attention shifted she held onto him lightly hoping he'd have something to put Leo's mind to ease. As unlikely as it seemed she still hoped. Her voice didn't seem to be working but she found comfort that she was in familiar company. A shiver ran down her spine and she looked up at Dom. Her mind questioned whether this was his fault or not. Keeping the thought out of her head she knew it was all of them who caused it. Whatever it was.

---~~~

Livian looked at Damien. "So what? We were forced out of where ever we where to come here? Why wasn't anyone around us brought too? It doesn't make since." She said walking around a bit. Her hair moved lightly as she flicked her head around. Her hands suddenly pointed up. "We don't have these kinds of lights at our museum. Ours is a spell cast by the curator these have electricity they're artificial." She said looking at the others. "Who uses artificial lights?" She questioned thinking they could narrow it down that way.

Leonardo shrugged. "Heck if I know, last time I checked they were outlawed." He stated before looking at Damien. "Damien you never said where you were." He pointed out thinking at first maybe he didn't want to be blamed. But Leonardo being one for details noticed something else, slight smidgen of lip gloss on his face. He motioned lightly with his hand to the spot so that Livian didn't notice.

"I know!" Livian said speaking up even though she wasn't looking at them. "I invited him to the party but he had someone coming over to tutor him." She said with a nod.

Fallacious 02-04-2010 06:14 PM

Dom shrugged a little. "There's a chance this happened to more than just us... whatever this is. Even if they're not here we can call a cab and go back to the school. Or find out what day it is. We're just looking for a couple answers to help us along the way of answering the big one; what the hell just happened to us."

He wrapped his arms snugly around Livia and gave her a hug. "It'll be okay, you guys. We just need to stick together and we'll be okay."

Ari chewed on her bottom lip uncertainly. She wanted to believe what Dom was saying but she wasn't sure she did. Looking to Leo, she tried to read his expression. If he bought into what Dom was saying she would be more willing to believe their friend.

~

"Thanks," Damien said ruefully. He wiped his face clean and sighed, shifting his attention to Livian. "I really preferred that my tutoring stayed a private matter. It's not something I want spread around and I don't want you guys to look at my differently because of it." His gaze flickered to Leonardo, making sure the other guy got what he meant about that.

"Okay, so none of us did anything to cause this. We still have to find out where we are. Leonardo is right. These lights are artificial. Cast your magic out a little... something feels wrong here. I can sense the ground about four floors beneath us but it feels... different.

Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 06:47 PM

Leonardo sighed and nodded. He wasn't sure though, things didn't feel right at all. Looking down at Ari he smiled some. "He's right we just have to stick together. We'll get through whatever this is. Um..." He looked at the metal doors that made up the elevator. Quickly he fixed his hair and smiled. "See look the situation is less scary all ready." He said joking a little to try to ease up the uneasiness.

Livia smiled softly and nodded agreeing with Dom. They needed answers and they needed to stick together, for now that would have to be enough. She giggled a little at Leo it was weak but it made her feel a little better. "Your hair is fried Leo." She said laughing a little again. The back of his head was covered in hair sticking out all over the place thanks to static.

Leo turned lightly. "Ah! God what did it do to my hair?" He asked continuing the joke. He didn't really care. Looking around he dug in his jacket and pants pockets till he found a small tube of hair gel. He put a bit on his finger and started franticly pushing his hair down. "Better?" he asked after getting half of it down. It looked worse now. Livia started laughing a little harder and shook her head with a smile. Leo sighed with a slight pout. "Damn it." He said though secretly he was glad to have lightened the mood for at least Liv.

--~~~

Livian felt with her magic and shivered. "Hmm....its like the magic is missing." She said softly. Walking over to the statue she ran her hand over it. "Even our great deity is drained of powers." She said softly with a confussed look. "Whats going on?" She wondered thinking back to her studies. "Lets see what we can find. Lets get to the ground." She said looking around and stumbling on the elevator. "Come on."

Leonardo nodded to Damien. "Make no mistake I don't condone your behavior." He warned in a whisper before following behind Livian. His redish brown hair falling into his eyes. He didn't say anything to keep Livian from acting out or getting her feelings smashed.

Fallacious 02-04-2010 07:30 PM

Ari grinned at what Leo said about his hair but as he struggled to fix it and failed she laughed outright. Taking pity on him, she stepped closer to him. "Here, give me the gel and bend yours knees. I'm not tall enough to do this, even on my tippy toes." She used a little gel and feathered it through his hair, taming it and sort of managing a style with it, though it didn't look as good as it had earlier.

"I think that's as good as it will get. Any more gel and I think I could make it into a Mohawk." She smirked at him, considering what he'd look like with his hair up in that fashion. Like a fool, no doubt.

The elevator doors opened on the ground floor and Dom frowned. "Crap. You guys... this isn't the same lobby we came into earlier." The colors were wrong and the desk was in the wrong spot. There was something about the lighting, too, that felt... natural. Almost like the room was being lit by the sun, but it was enclosed with only the front windows to shed a little light so that couldn't be it.

Dom walked to the reception desk and asked if the girl behind the counter could look up the number of a taxi service for them.

She gave him an odd look and pointed toward the door. "Just go summon one out at the ride stand outside." She gave him a queer look again and glanced at the others.

"Right. Sorry. We're just a little tired, not thinking clearly..." He went back to the others. "Let's go outside and talk. She told me to summon a taxi from a... I dunno. A ride stand? I don't know what that means."

~

"That sounds like a good idea." Ana agreed. She passed the boys and headed for the elevator with Livian. "The shadows here feel different. Like... there isn't anything lurking behind them. I can't feel the shadow realm. They're just... spots where the light isn't hitting. I don't like this. I don't like this at all."

"Good thing I wasn't asking for your blessing then," Damien hissed quietly at Leonardo. "Tell her if you want to destroy her, otherwise just keep on keeping your mouth shut and let my business be mine."

Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 07:58 PM

Leo shook his head. "No mercy! No mohawk I'd never be able to show myself in public." he said with a laugh. He got up and stretched a bit. "Thank you dear your very kind." He said giving her a side hug. When the elevator stopped he stepped out and sighed. How'd he know this would happen? He was hoping that he was wrong and that he was going crazy or something. But no they weren't at the museum anymore.

Livia sighed lightly and rubbed her head. "What? Um can you ask for a map of the city...if this isn't the same maybe out there isn't either." She said softly to Dom when he came back over. She pulled her hair over one shoulder and running her hand through it with a slightly worried look. She smiled over at Ari and Leo, hey I wonder if there is someone we know around here." She asked softly.

---~~~

Livian nodded softly. "I noticed that. Things are weird here, cold, distant." She shook her head lightly. "I don't like it at all." She added. She flicked her hair over her shoulder and held the door to the elevator for the guys. "Come on!" She yelled at them.

Leonardo looked at Damien. "You'll regret that when she's gone." He said with a slight glare as he put his hands which were still on fire out. He walked into the elevator in an annoyed state. Flicking his hair out of his face and refusing to stand anywhere near his friend. Damien was a good guy but Livian didn't diserve his lack of care.

Livian looked at Leonardo. "Whats the matter?" She asked softly with a worried look. Sometimes Leonardo could get violent if his mood was left unchecked.

Leonardo looked at Damien and then at Livian. "Nothing, Nothing Liv.. I'm just not liking the situation any more than you guys." He said softly with a slight smirk.

Fallacious 02-04-2010 08:35 PM

"I figured today has been bad enough without adding a bad hair day on top of it." Ari smiled at Leo but her good mood fell when she saw the lobby. "Great," she muttered under her breath. "I guess we're not in Kansas anymore, Toto."

Dom frowned at what Livia asked. A map. That made sense. He walked back over to the receptionist, who rose her eyebrows at him as if to say 'what now?'. "Sorry... but do you have a map of the city?"

"There's one out at the ride stand."

"Oh. Right. Um, thanks." Dom's cheeks flushed red as he turned away. He didn't like feeling like an idiot. He was smart. Very smart... and he was being talked down to by a receptionist!

"Come on guys. Let's go outside. She said there's a map out at the stand thing."

Dom hadn't paid much attention when they walked into the museum that morning but when they stepped outside nothing seemed totally different. The street was still paved in black with white and yellow lines on it. The sky was blue, the grass was green. What did seem different were the buildings. There was something about their colors that seemed off to him.

"Do you think that's the stand the woman was talking about?" Ari pointed down the street a little ways to a sidewalk tile that was unlike the others. It rose up with a ramp on both sides and on top, right near the street like a lamp post or fire hydrant might be was a thin golden rod with what looked like a book attached to it. The book was closed, it's binding pointing down at the ground.

~

"Yeah and I don't deserve to waste the best years of my life on just one girl," Damien grumbled. Livian was sweet at times and he liked spending time with her but she was the king of girl he'd take home to meet his parents. He was more attracted to the sort of girls who put out on the first date, didn't care if it took you two weeks to call again because it meant they were getting more sex, and who his parents would hate.

"Nothings the matter. We were just talking is all." He smiled at Livian, a perfect liar.

Ana frowned and looked around the place, feeling uneasy. "Someone should go ask what today's date is. Maybe someone was messing with the sands of time spells at school and we were all just caught in a miss fire? There might be more people somewhere else. It's hard to tell when a spell goes wrong. We should just... try to go back to the school. We can sort it out with the teachers there, right?"

Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 09:03 PM

((Should we make the city lay out and addresses and such the same so they can at least find places to stay or completely forign? Also I was thinking money should be the same in both places so that its not too different. One other thing is who helps them settle into the new worlds until they can get home? I was thinking the museum curator for the non magic world and then a teacher for the magic maybe?))

Livia nodded slightly. "Sorry I don't know the rules here." She said softly looking at Dom before they walked out. She took in a deep breath. "Wow its...I dunno nice." She said softly with a smile. Just being outside where it was normal for things to change suddenly was relieving to her for some reason. She could feel the sun where the sun should be. She felt a shiver run down her back as a wave of energy passed her. Something was different about the air like there was power there.

Leo smiled. "So kind." He said softly. Looking around outside though his eyes flickered with annoyance. "I guess so there's nothing else that could be it." Walking over to the stand thing he looked at the book before opening it. "Hm...I guess its voice activated." He said looking at the others with a shrug. "Alright we need a taxi? Hmm.." he looked at the first few pages trying to find a table of contents or something.

---~~~

Livian nodded it was embarrassing how ignorant she was some times. She was a tough girl one who like messing around with peoples heads but she wasn't considered 'easy'. The silver haired girl had too much respect for herself to allow that. To her misfortune most of her dating life had been with two timing jerks. Little did she know her bad luck had continued onto Damien. Most the time he was a nice guy but she found he didn't do a whole lot of things with her. Leonardo didn't approve often telling her that he thought it was better just to stay friends so the group didn't split up if something went wrong.

Leonardo nodded to what Damien said. Then he smiled some. "So you think this is a time thing. Makes since but what if its not is there another explanation anyone could think of?" he asked softly as he punched the number for the bottom floor. It was sort of an accident but it worked so he didn't really care. He looked at Damian. "Any suggestions since you've been getting tutored in History." He asked with a slight smile that showed he was getting back at him. Damien was his friend and after this he'd be back to goofing off with the guy. He had already warned Livian but he knew she wasn't one to take this kind of thing lightly. Her last boyfriend was found with his body frozen still at the bottom of an elevator shaft. He wasn't hurt just scared half to death.

Fallacious 02-04-2010 09:12 PM

((I was thinking the city would be the same except a little bigger because that farm area wouldn't have flooded... and I think both groups should get back to school and settle in there. It's a boarding school and so they'd have their own rooms and stuff. In the non-magic world they can just be picked up with the rest of the group and go off to dinner and then be taken back... for the magic world they can find their way back to their school a different way maybe? Like getting the ride stand thing to work.))

Fate's Pearl 02-04-2010 09:14 PM

((Perfecto. I alright lets go with that. I like the idea a lot.))

Fallacious 02-04-2010 09:53 PM

((Sounds good))

"It's okay. I don't know how things work here either. Even if I did I think that receptionist would be bitchy." He smiled down at her and wrapped an arm around her waist. "Come on. Maybe the clean air will help wake us up and clear our heads. Maybe it was the paint fumes that made this happen?"

Ari walked over to stand next to Leo in front of the book thing. Reaching out, she touched it. "It feels... like it's humming. Do you think electricity is running through it or something?" She looked at the pages and frowned. "They're blank. What the hell?" Her hand was resting on one of the open pages still. "All we want is a ride back to school." There was a louder hum and a moment later a taxi pulled around the corner of the street. She withdrew her hand from the book. "Okay. That was creepy... Should we take it?" Her heart was fluttering in her chest and she felt like she might be sick again.

Damien was well aware of the perils of dating Livian but he didn't care. He wanted to break her down and melt her icy exterior. She had a fiery personality and he wanted to see just how hot she could get. That was still a ways off in their relationship and so he was being 'tutored' by other girls in the mean time. Maybe if things were good enough with Livian he'd give monogamy a try. It was unlikely, of course.

"I don't know," he said with his voice taught as he glared at Leonardo. "I'm pretty sure there is nothing in history books about what is happening in our present." Before he could come up with a theory someone interrupted them.

"Oh good. There you four are!" The same teacher who had lectured about the rules of the trip that morning came in through the front door. "Let's get going or we'll all miss our dinner reservations."

Ana just stared at the woman before looking at the others. Did they follow this woman or not?

"Ariana, don't look at me like that. It's your own fault that you're running late. I was perfect clear this morning about how much time we had in the museum. Livia, Dom, Leo. Let's go. Stop standing around!"

"Now I'm really confused," Adriana whispered.

Livia smiled up at Dom and leaned into him some. "Yep Its the fumes." She joked lightly. "We we're drugged by fumes." She laughed a little. When the taxi pulled up she stood surprised. "Yes lets take it. I want to get to school and there doesn't seem to be another taxi around so..." She walked over and opened the door. "Everyone in." She stated.

Leo stood in complete shock and then looked at Ari. "Wow you sounded scary for a moment there." He said nudging her towards the taxi. "Its probably voice activated like I said." He stated simply pushing her forward again and closing the book on his way. He got in first and waited for Ari to follow.

Leonardo stood looking at the teacher. "Well lets not stand around." He said grabbing Adriana's hand and pulling her forward. "Sorry teach, we totally flaked, we got into the exhibits a bit too much." He stated with a nod. "I think this class trip was the best so far." he added playing it up before quickly walking towards the direction the teacher had come from. "I think she thinks we're some one else, someone who should be here but isn't?" He questioned.

Livian looked at her and smiled. "Groovy Dinner I'm up for it." She said with a soft chuckle. She looked at Damien. "Come on." she demanded before walking behind her two friends.
