Background: Fallon was born deaf, but that wasn't the reason for his parent's concern. He always seemed to know what people were feeling, and sometimes knew where things were despite being separated from them by solid walls. His abilities managed to stay hidden from most of the community; they couldn't speak sign language and he couldn't hear them, so they tended to stay out of each other's way and nobody noticed when he found something with unusual accuracy. Despite not being able to communicate with most of his age-mates, Fallon's natural friendly demeanour allowed him to get along with them, and he regularly participated in their games.

Appearance: Stands at 5'11. Long red hair that goes a little past her butt. Deep blue eyes. A little thin, but not underweight. (( I don't have a pic either))
Background: Lived in a village with kitsune, but the village got destroyed by wolf demons wanting their special items. Her parents escaped with her and their orbs. The set up a new life however a few years later her parents were killed by someone wanting their orbs. She now lives alone with help from people around her. She still has her orb and makes sure to hold it close. She has made a few friends, but none to really call a best friend. They still chat and everything.

Fallon made his way down the street, making sure to keep his eyes up and looking around at what was going on around him; without the use of his ears, he wasn't as aware of what was going on. On the other hand, he'd be getting a hearing-aid dog soon...Maybe that would make things easier.

Something caught Fallon's eye. It was a girl, with very long hair. Interested, Fallon went over, pulling a notebook out of his pocket; she probably wouldn't speak sign language. As he got closer, it became clear she was older than him. He tapped the girl's shoulder.

Sanoko stood on the sidewalk looking at few things through store windows and at the produce that was there deciding whether or not she wanted any of it. She was a bit startled when she felt a tap on her shoulder. Looking around to see who and done it she saw a boy who was seemingly younger than her. She wondered what he wanted. She smiled slightly at him.

Fallon smiled a little back at her. He picked up the notebook and flipped to a free page, then wrote something and held it up to her. "Hello."

Sanoko looked at the notebook he held up. She was a little confused by this at first. "Hello." she said making sure he could understand what she was saying in case he happened to be deaf and would be the reason he was using the notebook. She hoped he could read lips at least enough to know she had said 'hello' and possible other short words.

Fallon wrote in the notebook again. "You're going to have to write things down for me. I can't read lips beyond a couple of basic words that everyone can do."

Sanoko looked at the words and nodded. She didn't mind writing things down for him, a person she didn't know at all.

Fallon smiled at her, then wrote down in the notebook again. "I'm Fallon. What's your name?"

Sanoko smiled back at him. She took out her pen and little post it pad she had with her whenever she went out so she could write down things she saw that she wanted or needed, but would need to get later. "I'm Sanoko. Nice to meet you Fallon." she wrote.

"Are you new here?" Fallon wrote. "I haven't seen you around."

"Somewhat." she wrote. "I just haven't been out that much."

"Why not?" Fallon wrote, genuinely curious.

"Didn't see any reason to." she wrote. "Never really knew what to do."

"How long have you been here?" Fallon wrote. "You could've tried meeting people."

"A little less than a year." she wrote. "Yeah I guess I could have and I do know a few people."

"That's good," Fallon wrote, smiling. "Why did you come out today? Was there something you had to do?"

Sanoko smiled back. "Well I wanted to look for nice new things and get a few things to eat." she wrote.

"I can help you do that," Fallon offered. "What do you need?"

"Thanks." Sanoko wrote and smiled. "I need fruits, veggies, some bread, some kind of meat, and other little things. I want nice things to wear, but they can wait."

"Follow me, then," Fallon said, smiling. He pocketed the notebook and began going down the street, indicating for Sanoko to follow.

Sanoko smiled and put away her things. She followed Fallon down the street.

Fallon wrote slowly as he walked and handed the notebook back to her. "We'll go to the grocery store first. That's where we can get most of what you need. What are the 'little things'?"
