Alex smiled. "Grey, even though i know people argue that it isnt a color." He chuckled and pointed to his shirt which was grey. He was always usually wearing the color. "Whats yours?"

Dear Lelie 02-20-2010 08:39 PM

Shae grinned when he said gray. "Isn't it a shade or something?" She teased him softly. "Well gray looks good on you... Mine's orange, people make fun because it's such a gross color... but I like it... your turn to ask." The blonde smiled up at him.

{have fun =]}

Esmme 02-21-2010 01:02 AM

With a sigh, Ehl nodded. "I don't stick around much," he said, immediately thinking of his last "Mina." He didn't want Bree to be one of them. Truthfully, it was a habit he'd picked up after his mom got snagged for the mental hospital. Ehl didn't like to inconvenience people with his presence, and no matter what they said, him being there always ended up becoming a problem. With no other family to go to after his mother, Ehl flit about from place to place to live through the night.
Looking at the girl in his arms, Ehl didn't want to use her like he had been using others. It didn't feel . . . right, or fair. Closing his brown eyes, the youth kissed the top of her head.
"I'll be . . . around," he whispered. "Just not all the time."
Reaching up to brush his hair out of his face, Ehl rested his head on top of Bree's.
"I'm sorry."

((2nd character pending. . . .))

Rain:] 02-21-2010 03:00 AM

Bree snuggled into Ehl. "Are you sure? Because Chris likes you. And my mom is too doped up to care." She sighed. "Ehl, why is that? You don't have to be afraid to tell me, you know.." She shifted to a more comfortable position - both her legs hanging off of one side of his lap. "So much for my luck.." she whispered, coming off as a mumble.

JessehBoo 02-21-2010 06:16 AM

Alex grinned. "But i did ask. I asked your favorite color." He chuckled as he realized he had slightly tricked her. "Its actually your question."

dear pacific day 02-21-2010 06:35 AM

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to resign from this roleplay. I'm just not online enough to keep track of everything... best wishes to you all. C:

((Aw. :( Good having you while you tried to get introduced then. :XD))

Ehl hesitated, seeming uncertain suddenly. He barely knew this girl. What did he owe her? He shook his head, shifting uncomfortably when Bree moved in his lap. How to explain?
"There are things going on with my family," he said quietly, not meeting her gaze. What else did he say? Oh, hey, yeah! My mother is in the psych ward and has an intimate relationship with the staff there. Ehl frowned, and blinked repeatedly before speaking again. "Weird stuff."
The young man ran a hand through his hair, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. "You're so sweet," he chuckled, giving her a gentle squeeze. "Offering your home to a stranger. You know my name, Bree . . . not me." Ehl grabbed her hand and kissed her fingertips. "Baby, you're beautiful, and there's nothing wrong with you. It's me." He smiled grimly. "I'm a freak." Placing Bree's hand back in her own lap, he shook his head. "Don't die trying. I'm not worth the trouble."

((Ah, and Dae!! Let me know when you read this. :D I want to introduce one of my new characters to your girl. :)))

Zak was drawn to the dance-off immediately, and ended up as one of the cheering onlookers. The girl was good . . . as was the guy, but the woman was better. Joining the cheers and clapping, the youth's blue eyes locked on Kira and he grinned widely, shouting out words of encouragement. He loved things like this - the crowds, the noise, the fun - everything that his family didn't enjoy.
The dark-haired youth shook his red-streaked locks out of his face, laughing as he was jostled by someone nearby. When the "battle" ended, he approached Kira with a drink in his hand, offering one to her.
"Thirsty?" he asked, his blue eyes on her face. "You have to be after that bout."

Raccoon_Chronus 02-21-2010 09:43 AM

Amber smiled and looked over to the tables and what not set up. "Sitting and talking sounds cool." A small giggle came form her lips as she slipped her hand into his, walking, with a small skip, over to the tables. She sat down on a random chair and looked at Marco with a cute grin on her face.

---

Cody laughed and grinned. “Aw but that just made you even cuter, and yeah my dear you have grown, though you yourself might not see it, I do.” he finally stood up and offered his hand. “Wana go for a walk?” he asked in a soft voice, he had to keep many things locked up just until she was old enough. He may be a little flirty man whore many times but he would never break the law, he never wanted to get the girl or himself into trouble. Moreover, it just felt wrong to him, she was still a child, so he held back all urges. However, with Jasmine, it might be harder for him.

[sorry it took so long ^^;]

Dear Lelie 02-21-2010 03:16 PM

Shae blushed when she realized he had indeed tricked her. "Awh, no fair... uhm... what's your favorite season?"It was hard thinking of what to ask when you were so nervous she realized. Slipping her phone out of her pocket she decided she should really text Kira to make sure she was okay. "Sorry, just let me send a quick text." She apoligized to Alex.
To: Kira
Hey girrrl, you still doing okay?

Putting her phone back into her pocket she rested her head back on Alex's shoulder as they softly walked down the sidewalk.

------
Grinning when she took his hand Marco followed her to the one table. Taking the seat next to her he kept Amber's fingers laced with his as he looked into her eyes. "So miss mysterious Amber... what would you like to talk about?" He asked her gently as his brown eyes looked into her's. Marco had thought her to be mysterious because... well he had never seen her before, and was surprised he hadn't. That hair would've caught his eye in a second.

Bree pouted. "Whatever, Ehl." She sighed and stroked his face. "You're not a stranger, Ehl. You're an old.. friend.. that I haven't seen in a while." Bree hesitated on the friend part, and bit her lip. I know what's up with his mom. Everyone at the school knew, and probably still remembers.. She sighed and kicked her feet, an annoying habit she'd picked up.

Esmme 02-21-2010 08:12 PM

"A long while," Ehl muttered, watching her kick her feet. The youth sighed, and shook his head. "I'm not leaving yet. I'm still here." He shifted Bree in his lap, grabbing her face kissing her cheek dramatically. "So love me before I'm gone, little lady." With a slight smile, the boy chuckled. "I'm not in the mood to be pessimistic."
Looking at the other party-goers, Ehl tilted his head and gave Bree a crooked smile. "What do you feel like doing? I'm free for the rest of the day."

Rain:] 02-21-2010 08:29 PM

Bree smiled and kissed his lips. "True.. Wherever you want to go, really. I don't mind." she looked around the room with Ehl, bored out of her mind. "We can go get kicked out of WalMart." She grinned, remembering the web page she'd read earlier.

[[Sorry for the short post.]]

Esmme 02-21-2010 08:48 PM

"Sounds like fun," Ehl chuckled, moving to kiss her back. "The only time that Wal-mart is fun is when you're there with someone else." Brushing her cheek with his own, the young man rested his head against hers. "And we can laugh at the freaks that we run into."
Considering they both looked "odd," it was obvious that Ehl was kidding. But at the same time, he was completely truthful. There was always somebody weirder than you in Wal-mart. It was a known fact of life.

((:XD No probs. Short post attack. *sighs sadly*))

Rain:] 02-21-2010 09:19 PM

[[It's about time I got a pic of what her car looks like. XD Lets say it's a little bigger than that with a backseat.]]

Bree got off of Ehl's lap and pulled him with her, grabbing his hand. "Sure, sure. I saw a skinhead last week." She laughed, walking out the door and across the street to her little lime-green car. Once they were both in the car, she started off towards the nearest WalMart. "We could always go to Lake Tahoe too." she said absentmindedly, stopping at the red light. "Hey Ehl... Where do you plan on going next? I mean, you've been out of Nevada, haven't you?"

Esmme 02-21-2010 09:35 PM

Ehl laughed, and fastened his seatbelt while listening to Bree speak of him being out of state. "A couple times," he said with a shrug. "Went to Cali mostly." The youth shook his head. "I like it here though." Watching Bree pull away from the house, he pulled out his phone and sent a quick text.

To: Kira
Sorry I didn't talk to ya. Saw you dancing - you're good, girl! Have to go . . . see you around sometime
.

Ehl snapped his phone closed, shoving it in his pocket before turning his attention back to Bree. "I've been around. Not too far out of state, but still." He was silent for a moment, unsure if he should say what was on his mind. He eventually gave in. "I don't like being too far from my mother." His brown eyes lingered on her hands as they rested on the steering wheel. "I don't plan on leaving . . . it just happens from time to time. I don't know where I will end up, but I always get there somehow."

JessehBoo 02-21-2010 10:50 PM

Alex smiled. "Fall, because its perfect hoodie whether and i love the colors of the leave, especially in the sunlight." He decided not to trick her and thought for amoment. "Favorite candy?"

Jasmine smiled and took the hand. "Sure.." She blushed and quickly packed up the sushi and grabbed a plastic bag, putting the containers inside. Going back to Cody she hugged him tight.

Rain:] 02-21-2010 11:28 PM

Bree half-smiled. "That's cute. Me, I wouldn't want to be within a ten-foot radius of my mother. But Cali?" She shook her head. "California's crazy." She stopped at the red light, and peeked a glance at Ehl. "I wish I was brave enough to leave and wander around myself. Sure, about now I'd probably go stay at a motel if I was irritated," she paused, "But I couldn't leave Chris." She sighed and let her eyes drop to her feet. She glanced up a couple seconds later, checking if the light was green yet. She dared a look at Ehl again, wondering if he was paying attention or staying quiet just for the hell of it.

Esmme 02-21-2010 11:38 PM

"It's good to have someone you can still talk to," Ehl said after a few moments of silence. He knew she glanced at him, but he refrained from looking back. It was when she started driving again that he let his gaze drift to Bree. "I don't mind talking to you." His words were sincere. Of all the people he'd spoken to, Bree was the one he enjoyed being with the most. He felt like he could say nearly anything - nearly.
"It's good to see you again," Ehl blurted out suddenly, and he shifted in his seat uncomfortably. "I don't see anyone from the 'old days' anymore." I missed you. "Not someone that doesn't stare at me or think I'm a . . . well, what I seem to be." Masks came in handy. He'd learned to use the "player" card without actually falling into the role. It had saved his neck just as many times as it had brought him down.

Dear Lelie 02-22-2010 12:11 AM

Shae nodded in response agreeing with his favorite season. She wasn't sure if she had a favorite... but she did really like autumn. Always pretty just like he said. When he asked her favorite candy she had to think for awhile. "I really like JuJubes and gummy bears... but I like Carmelo bars." She giggled softly. Shae thought about pulling the trick he had, but decided against it. "What's your favorite movie?"

Rain:] 02-22-2010 12:46 AM

Bree nodded. "Yeah, it is." She drove down a few streets, eventually stopping at another red. "That's good to know." She drummed her fingers on the steering wheel, the silence getting her on edge. She turned, about to say something, when Ehl spoke up."I-It's good to see you too, Ehl.." she said, waiting for him to finish his sentence. When he didn't, she sighed and leaned back, forgetting what she was going to say. "So, uh.. What's your favorite color?" She smiled.

Esmme 02-22-2010 12:58 AM

Ehl smiled. "Red," he replied, crossing his arms over his chest. "And yours?" He raised an eyebrow. "And your favorite animal, too." The young man moved to poke her upper arm. "I'm sure it's not what it used to be . . . unless you still like pandas."
Chuckling, he playfully poked her arm again. Keeping his eyes on her face, he grinned.
"Do you remember that time when that one kid . . . what was his name? . . . he took your panda backpack," Ehl laughed. "You were crying, and I felt bad, so I gave you my lunch." Even back then they had been "friends," of a sort. They didn't speak to each other often, but often enough to say they knew each other. "You scarfed it up faster than I ever could have! I was so surprised." His brown eyes filled with a spark of happiness. "That led to the challenge of 'who can eat their lunch the fastest.' It was terrible." Only because he had lost that once. He happened to choke on his sandwich, and he had to drink all of his orange juice too fast . . . the result was Bree winning.
"Absolutely terrible." Ehl shuddered dramatically, his hand moving to rest on her shoulder and give her a light massage.
"But you had fun with it."

Rain:] 02-22-2010 01:58 AM

Bree smiled. "Lime green, as you can see by the car, and yup..Pandas. I remember yours used to be blue or something like it, right? And you were in love with otters for some reason. Devilish little things," She smiled, remembering the day. "Yeah, yeah. Bradley. I eventually got it back.. Hey, don't laugh, I didn't eat lunch every day like some kids." She teased. "Your orange juice came out your nose." She laughed. "Yeah, yeah, I did, but you made the big deal about it." She looked at Ehl out of the corner of her eye, smiling.

Bree parked the car slowly, unbuckling her seatbelt. Hesitantly she took Ehl's hand, and leaned over, kissing him. "I never thought I'd see you again." She said, twisting so she was laying in his lap, and stroked his cheek. "The night has a thousand eyes, Ehl... And the day only one.You remember that?" Of course he would. The first thing she'd ever said to him, when they weren't on so good terms. She'd pushed him down to the ground during their lunch roughly and said "I'll be watching you." Well, maybe he could forget the part where she pushed him down. She giggled, remembering it. It had all started because their teacher had called on her, who'd had the wrong answer, and he'd raised his hand with the right answer. "I hated being shown up like that."

Esmme 02-22-2010 02:20 AM

He kissed her back when she initiated, and shifted so she could comfortably lay across his lap. "How could I forget," Ehl grimaced, laughing. "It scared the heck out of me for the next few weeks. Every time I saw you, I ended up walking the other way." He smiled. "You were a scary little thing when I was that small."
Ehl brushed Bree's hair out of her face, kissing his fingertips before touching them to her nose.
"I don't think I'll be scared of you anymore."
Resting one hand on her forehead and the other on her stomach, Ehl chuckled.
"I don't plan on it, that is. You can still be scary sometimes, I'm sure."
Leaning his cheek into her hand, the youth closed his eyes. He smiled when thinking of the first time they'd interacted - bad day, that. "And it wasn't my fault that you didn't know the right answer, chica." He laughed inwardly, shaking his head at the memory. Ah, the old days. They never ceased to carry some semblance of embarrassment for him.
"At least I didn't run away crying."

Rain:] 02-22-2010 02:25 AM

Bree closed her eyes. "True, true. Wait - Hey! I'm not a scary thing," she scoffed, opening one eye. She poked his hand on her stomach, and then put her hand on his stomach in return. "Hey Ehl.. You still ticklish?" She smiled, one eye closed. She ran her fingers over his stomach in a test, not waiting for his answer.

Kira smiled when she finished up with her dance and a dark hair rebellious looking guy came up to her. Dimitri seemed to be jealous of it but she shrugged it off. "If its water ill take some." She said laughing. She wasnt the drinking type, especially after a dance. The DJ was giving her a you did good like they always did and announced that she had won the battle between her and Dimitri. She watched him leave the dance to go get something to drink feeling a little humiliated but not to much. She turned back to the boy. "Whats your name?" She asked yelling over the music.
