"How might you be??? I haven't seen you around since I got here to this academy. But it seems that you have a lot on your mind", Natsumi said.

How might he be? Well at the minute, surprisingly, he felt quite well. "I am fine, better than I've felt for a while, actually." Folding his hands into his lap, the male shook his head. "I've not seen you around either, when did you get here?" He asked, giving her his full attention for the moment.

"That's good then. And I got here just this morning with my brother. Both of us transferred here today". Natsumi wasn't sure if Julian knew "her brother" as being Hisoka. Though it was a habit to call him her brother. "This school is quite big and interesting, isn't it???". Natsumi hadn't had that much time to really get to see the whole entire school. All that she was showed to were her dorm, and the way to get to and from her classes. There was still much that she wanted to explore around the school. Thinking for a moment, Natsumi hadn't introduced herself, "Oh, how rude of me to not introduce myself. I'm Natsumi Miyake by the way".

She'd just transferred here with her brother this morning? That hunter had arrived this morning, did they arrive together? "Oh, the bits I've seen of it are, though I've not really had much of a chance to explore." With a hunter watching the grounds, perhaps now he would be able to explore the rest of the academy without having to worry about being attacked. Not that he couldn't take care of himself, of course, it was just annoying to have to constantly watch his back. "Nice to meet you, I'm Julian."

"Oh, I take it that you just recently transferred to this school as well then???", Natsumi asked. "There is so much to explore around here. Though it might be hard to see around the whole academy with those pesky day class students wandering the grounds at night". Thankfully Natsumi hadn't had that many issues with the day class since she had got to the academy. She heard rumors about the how bad the day class students can get during twilight. "Julian huh??? What a nice name".

"Yes, I've been here a week or so now." It was true, the academy and grounds were quite large, exploring them would be time consuming. "You are lucky, you do not have a group of fan girls waiting for you whenever you leave a building." This was one of the main problems the Night Class were having, the males anyway. "Thank you." The male gave Natsumi a small smile. "I quite like your name too. I've not heard of it before."

"So what brings you to this academy???", Natsumi asked. She was curious as to why a pureblood would bother with an academy like this. When there were more sophisticated schools out there. "Oh yes, you guys have more fangirls than us girls", she laughed. "Not saying that there are those guys from the day class who follow around us night class girls. Girls are just harder to deal with than the guys". Girls were of course louder and boy crazy, especially during their teens years. "You're welcome, and thank you. It's actually quite a common name from where I'm from. So it's not that special".

"I'm not sure why I'm here really. I was brought here by a human and figured I'd stay." Julian said with a lazy shrug of his shoulders. "I wouldn't say we have more, it just seems the human girls like to show their emotions and squeal whenever a Night Class guy walks past. The male humans seem to be a little more composed and less willing to squeal." Tilting his head, the blonde smiled. "Well, your special here as your the only Natsumi. You seem to have more of a personality than the rest of the females in Night Class I've come across too."

"It's certainly odd that you don't know why you're here. But then again, do all of us know why???". Natsumi then laughed lightly, "Well it would be really weird if the boys were to do that. They seem to be more dignified than the rest of the girls. Of course when a girl is in her teen years, she generally has wild fantasies, and thinks she can be with whoever she wants. I'm not saying that all of them are like that, but a vast majority of them are. Then again... boys are the more pervish outta the two. Wouldn't you agree???". Natsumi had met quite a few perverted guys. She always wondered why they act the way they do. "I suppose that the rest of the night class girls are more quite, and no so talkative then I. Most of the students in this class were of course raised in aristocratic homes and families".

"Most came here because of the pureblood." Julian said, referring to the Class President. Thats usually why the Noble Vampires did anything, because there was a pureblood about. Though there were a coupel he knew of that were forced here by hunters, given the choice of this or death. "Well I cannot comment on the Day Class boys as I've not seen any yet." But Natsumi was right about the girls, atleast, the one's he'd seen upto yet. "I wouldn't say they were all perverted, though I wouldn't know." Indeed. Most vampires did have an Aristocratic upbringing which meant they were somewhat more withdrawn and snobbish than Day Class. "Humans are far more complex than we think."

"That's true too. Lots of purebloods get all sorts of attention from all the vampires, whether they want it or not. But seeing as purebloods like yourself are so scarce, I can understand why people fawn over you guys". Natsumi had met only one other pureblood, and that was the elder of the city she was from. An old man who was pretty grumpy, though lots of old people were like that in general. "I've not seen many of the day class boys either, but I'm guessing they get shoved out of the way when our class comes out during twilight. I mean, do they really want to stay up front, get pushed down, and then risk the chance of getting trampled on???", Natsumi said. It was only understandable that the really fangirlish girls were near the front of the group. Always hyper and wanting to jump out and speak with the night class students. "All humans are complex, then again, so are we. We are all different, have different personalities, and were raised differently. No one can tell what one is like by merely glancing at them".

Fawn over them? It wasn't just the purebloods that were fawned after, every guy in Night Class had atleast one fangirl. And once or twice he'd caught sight of human guys, though they were always keeping their distance. He couldn't blame them, he'd do the same given the choice. "They must get frustrated though, with all the girls coming to see us each night, the boys must get no attention of their own." He said and then nodded in agreement. Everyone was far more complex than they first seemed. Trying to figure them out was.. really not worth wasting time on.

"That may be true. Though would you want to date a girl who squeals at every hot guy that passes by??? Though I'm sure that there are some guys in the day class who have a girlfriend". Natsumi knew that a lot of guys didn't like those kinds of girls. Hell, she didn't even like those kinds of girls herself. "Say, did you hear about that dance that is coming up in a few days??? I hear that all the classes are going to be together. Can't say that I'm too happy about that though".

"Not me personally, but I'm sure there are guys out there that would. As I've been told, in all the time this Academy has been open, not one Vampire has accepted a date of anysorts from day class." He said, leaning back against the chair with a sigh.The dance? "Oh, yes, I was told about it this morning. Its going to be an interesting event, to say the least." Day and Night classes coming together. Hopefully the class presidents presence would be enough to keep the vampires in check. But what about the humans, the girls in particular? That was the bit he was not looking forward to.

"Probably, but I wouldn't if I were you either. Though it's understandable why the night class students wouldn't go out with a day class student. For the reason that they are humans, and the other that drinking blood is strictly forbidden on campus. Not to mention that they would find out about us vampires. We do live much longer than they do after all". But there were of course humans out there besides the hunters and council that know about vampires. And there were human and vampire couples. It was just something rarely seen. "Oh yes, interesting indeed. I wonder what is all going on during that event. I heard the headmaster saying that we have to dance with the day class, or something like that".

It was true, vampires did live much longer than humans did. Though if any of the Day Class were to find out the truth about Night Class, the headmaster would have his hands full. There were many that knew about vampires, he knew and understood this, but not knowing, like the day class, made things alot easier and allowed them both to live relatively normal lives in peace. "Oh? Well now.. lucky us." Vampires and humans paired up? That was most definatly going to be a dance to rememeber. Though at the minute.. all he could think about was the males in his class getting paired with a fangirl. It was just.. a headache waiting to happen.

"At least it's only going to be for a night, so we won't have to deal with the rest of the day class that much", Natsumi replied. There weren't that many school events that required both classes to be together, and for that, she was thankful. After all, getting up early for some of their events would just leave her in a bitchy mood all day. A girl needs her sleep, right???
The bell rang a moment later. Natsumi finished up the rest of her notes, and collected her things. "Sorry, I've gotta run now. It was nice chatting with you", she said, before she was out the door. She passed Hisoka on the way out, he was leaning against the wall to the classroom. "Was he waiting there all this time???, she wondered to herself, before leaving to her dorm for the night. |
"I suppose." One night would be more than enough to observe the humans and how they interacted with the Night Class males. Should he show his face? Yes.. but no dancing. He had two left feet anyway. "Well if it goes well the headmaster might arrange more functions like this." He said after a moments thought.
The bell rang and Julian heaved a sigh of relief. He closed the notebook he hadn't been making notes in and placed it atop the pile with the rest of the books he had brought with him. "Alright. It was nice to meet you." The blonde said, watching Natsumi make a quick exit. As per usual, he waited until he was last in the class before he left, wishing the teacher a pleasant evening as he went. |
Hisoka waited for Julian to exit the classroom, "I take it that classes went well without any problems???", Hisoka asked him. He hadn't been waiting outside the classroom that long, in case the other vampires in the classroom might of been aware of his presence.
Natsumi entered her dorm room, a note had been placed on the top of her night stand. She quickly read it, and then crushed the paper, and tossed it into the trashcan. Orders can be written on the paper, and a number to call back. Natsumi dialed the number, and waited for her boss to pick up. "Hello, it's Natsumi Miyake" "Have you met the target like I told you to???" "Yes, everything is set. I'll be making my move during the costume ball. Both classes are going to be together, so it'll be easier for me to make my move". "Make sure you don't mess up". "Don't worry, I've got everything handled. No one will suspect a thing from me" Natsumi hung up the phone a moment later. Her plans had fallen into place, and were running smoothly. "I've got the hunter's trust, and befriended the target. Things will certainly go my way". The mission was set, obtained the blood of Julian, to obtain immortality. |
Julian stopped as he heard the voice and had to smile as he noticed the male stood there? How long had he been standing there? He'd been so busy talking to Natsumi he'd failed to notice a human outside the classroom. "Of course. Did you expect it to go otherwise? I know I'm new here, but the nobles still have some respect for me." He replied, shifting the books into his other arm. "I met the new girl too. You know her?" The blonde asked, looking along the hall then back to the hunter before him.

Hisoka shrugged, "Not really, though you never know what could happen in a place like this. I suppose that anything could happen at any time". Looking down the hallway, he saw the rest of the students leave the building. The hallways were now completely empty, except the two of them. "That must of been Natsumi that you met. She's my older sister", he paused for a moment, "Well, like an older sister to me. I met her a long time ago, and she took a liking to me and my ideals"

"I suppose." After another glance down the hallway to watch the last of his fellow students leave, his full attention was given to the hunter walking beside him. "Oh, I see." There didn't seem to be any resemblance between the two, which was soon explained. "A vampire agreeing with a hunters ideals? Now that is a first. But she seems nice enough."

"Yeah, I know. Not that many vampires even socialize with hunters. A friendship between the two is always rare, and sometimes that friendship doesn't even last that long. She certainly is different than the rest of the vampires I've met over the years. It is odd that she would want to socialize with a vampire hunter though. I still don't fully understand her though". Hisoka thought to earlier that day when it was in the headmaster's office after he had arrived. "Say, who exactly was that guy who was with you earlier???", Hisoka asked.

"It is very strange, but not unheard of. Perhaps you'd best keep an eye on her? I don't think I've ever known a vampire noble to befriend a human, atleast, not one that wasn't after something." But perhaps this was different? Maybe times had changed and Natsumi really did just want to be friends. Who knew. "Hm. He's the one that found me and brought me here. His names Caelius and he really needs to lighten up."

"I don't think that she is capable of doing something devious. But your right, I'll need to keep an eye on her. Truth be told, I've been a bit cautious of her for as long as I've know her. If she were after something of mine, I wouldn't know what it would be". Hisoka continued walking along with Julian, wondering for a moment if Natsumi were after something. What would it be??? The only thing that he could think of was trust. But that to him seemed unlikely. "Caelius huh??? And why does he need to lighten up??? Is there something wrong with him???", Hisoka asked.
