A well known and greatly feared Pirate captain finds a person a floating on the water. Lost at sea, hauling them on board and taking them as part of their crew for lets say a years journey. Just to find out that whomever they are has forgotten their life completely. Keeping them as one of their crew the Captain finds them self drawn to their latest member of the crew. Knowing this would hurt their reputation they decide to get read of them. Only problem? They're on open sea and have another months journey before getting anywhere near a place to drop the newcomer off.



A dark figure sat on the rails of the pirate ship. A deep lifeless look in his eyes men didn't pass him with out a respectful bow. "Captain!" Someone yelled from the opposite side of the ship. "Captain there's a man in the water." He yelled again. The man's eyes flashed over and he stood up walking over.

"Well pull him aboard!" HE ordered in a cruel sounding voice. It was smooth though almost like silk and deep almost sounding handsome and luring. He was wearing a nice outfit for a pirate one he surly took off a ship before sending it down to the depths of the sea. "Hurry now!" He called watching as two men dove off with ropes to pull in the lost soul. They were two hands down so in return for saving this guys life he'd have to spend the rest of it as his crew. At least that was the capt.'s plan.

The person they thought was a boy was actually a young girl. She was floating on a big peace of wood that she had pulled herself on when she woke up drifting in the water. She looked at the men that were swimming towards her. She weakly kicked her feet trying to get to them She was so scared.

"Help me," she said weakly as she reached for them. She was so happy to be found. "Thank you....thank you..." She had been hoping for hours now that someone would find her. She couldn't believe her luck. She didn't think they'd find her. Her clothes were ripped and soggy from being in the water for so long. She was wearing a dark black shirt and a light blue pants that looked like shorts now.

The two pirates didn't really listen to their target. One grabbed her while the other tied up a rope and wrapped it around her in such a way as to allow her to be hoisted up onto the ship. The other walked up while she was being pulled up to make sure that she didn't fall back down into the water. The Captain himself pulled her on board. "Oi boy tell me your name." He demanded as he placed her on the deck with gentle hands, though they wouldn't be that way forever. "Come now speak." he demanded again as the others pulled up their ship mates.

She coughed into her hand hard then looked up. She looked at him then looked down. 'Who am I? What is my name? W-why can't I remember?' she thought to herself then looked up at him. 'I don't know....I don't remember my name...I can't remember anything....' She was afraid he'd get angry or something. "Um....Kino," she said saying the first thing that came to her mind. She didn't really know who this Kino was but she'd borrow the name until she could remember. When she spoke up he voice cracked a little.

The captain laughed a little. "Kino? Very well. Gents this is Kino, meet the newest member of the crew." He said with a grin. "I am your captain. You can call me Captain or Captain Legacy." He said sternly. He motioned for two of his men to help him. "Lets get this sorry sap down to my cabin. He'll need new clothes." He stated.

'They think I'm a guy? This can't end well....' she thought then stood up. "It's okay. I don't need help walking." She took a few steps almost falling. She didn't wanna accept help from them. "You can lead the way....I don't know where I'm going." She fiddled with the bottom of her shirt.

The captain smirked. "Follow me." He said walking down below the deck and to the nicest cabin on the ship. It was large and had plunty of space. Digging in chest he pulled out an extra set of clothes. "Put these on. And these." He tossed a pair of boots to Kino. "We'll get you more stuff at the next port. Until then...deal with what you got. Your officially a cabin boy. You'll swab the decks and help where you can." He said simply as he wrote something down in a log. "Prepare for a year long voyage on the worst pirate ship known to this world." His voice became almost happy.

Kino's eyes widened. 'I wonder what a pirate is....hmmmmmmmm....should I ask....yeah might as well....' She looked up then tilted her head to the side a little. "I'm sorry but I'm having trouble remembering things...um...what is a pirate?" She held the clothes a little away from her body. She didn't want them wet and she defiantly wasn't changing in front of him. She didn't remember much but she did know that it would be embarrassing. She looked down a little. "Sorry....my name is all I remember..."

The captain laughed. "A pirate is a person who robs, murders, occasionally rapes people on the the ocean. Causing problems in port cities and is wanted by the law." He said walking over. "And we like rum because water doesn't stay good. Welcome aboard now change." He stated handing her a cloth to dry off with.

"Ooooh," she said then looked up. "Um....can you turn around....I don't like when people watch me change..." Her cheeks were a little pink. "I could change somewhere else too....where you're not looking at me..." She trailed off. 'Rape....they....if they found out would they.....I can't let them find out...I can't....I don't want that to happen again....huh? Again...? Has it happened before....? God I'm so confused.....' She shook her head trying to stop all the thoughts in her head. She didn't wanna think anymore.

The captain raised an eye brown but shrugged. "You have ten minutes." He said walking out of his cabin and shutting the door. He couldn't help but think there was something fishy about his newest crew member. What man wouldn't try and show off to a new captain? He couldn't help but wonder this.

Kino's face turned redder. 'Ah!' she thought to herself then took off her clothes. She examined her body not knowing what it really looked like underneath her clothes. She had scars all over her arms and she could feel some on her back. She had a long one going across her stomach like someone tried to cut out her insides. She frowned then started getting dressed. She had turned herself away from the door just in case he walked in on her. She sighed as she slid on the pants then reached for her shirt. She slowly slid it on.

The captain stood outside the door waiting counting in his head quietly. He ignored some of his men and started getting ideas as to what he would do to his newest member. Make him work till his muscles bulged sounded good to him. So that was the first thing. Making him work his arms off. Grinning at himself he banged on the door. "Hurry up!" He demanded.

Kino quickly put her shirt on then stared at him. "I'm all done..." she said softly. "You're impasiont....is that another quality of a pirate?" she asked then laughed a little. She couldn't help herself. "Sorry...."

The captain shook his head. "Boy you talk like a woman." He said with a sigh. "Alright cabin boy we're going to make you one of the toughest pirates on the seven seas or so help me you'll die trying." He said with a grin. "Follow me." He stated walking off and then up onto deck.

Kino laughed a little. She found it funny that they thought she was a boy. She quickly followed not wanting to get lost. She smiled as she looked around. "I'll try my best..." she said then looked at him. "Um what exactly do you want me to do...? And why don't you have any girls on the ship? They aren't so bad at sea are they?" She wanted more info so she could figure out if hiding she was a girl was a good idea or a very good idea. She didn't wanna die.

The Captain looked at her. "You boy are going to swab this intire deck in an hour. If you fail you do it again for another hour." He said with a nod. "Now there are no women on the ship because its bad luck and we're all a bunch of superstitious men." HE stated looking at her and handing her a full bucket of water and a mob. "First mate will make sure your not to slow." he stated simply.

"Very very good idea,' she thought to herself then looked at the mop. "Um....what exactly do you want me to do with this?" she asked as she gave him a funny look. She almost dropped the bucket when he gave it to her. She put it down then frowned. "That's heavy...." She looked back up at him the frowned. "I don't know what to do..."

The captain sighed. "Dear god and I thought this was going to be easy." he muttered. "Alright shrimp. Here's what you do." he took the mop dunk it into the water and mopped the deck. "Smother the deck in water so the wood doesn't shrink so our ship doesn't fall apart under us. Got it?" He asked handing it to her. "Listen here little man your going to carry that bucket around the ship. You'll do that till you can carry it with one arm. Get swabbing!" He said with an annoyed voice. "First mate Lionel deal with the cabin boy." He said walking off to see what he could from the crows nest. And to get away from the new person.

"HEY! I don't wanna carry this around! It's heavy!" She yelled after him then pouted. She kinda like annoying him. She sighed then started moping the floors. She didn't mind doing it just the bucket. She didn't like how he was being mean to her. 'I guess it could be worse....' she thought to herself then went back to work. She didn't stop until she ran out of water. "Um....how do I get more water?"

The captain look at his pistol with a almost dreamy look. "I have a feeling this is going to be a long trip." He said to the man in the crows nest.

The first mate laughed a little. "Lean over the ship." He joked tossing her rope. "Its like a well man you drop it in and then you pull it up." He said laughing harder.

Kino was a little hesitant. She didn't wanna fall back in. She walked over to the edge of the boat. She tied on end to the bucket then thew the bucket over the edge of the boat. She took a deep breath then started attempting to pull it up. She had it almost half way up before she slipped and almost fell in. She screamed cause she scared herself. She blushed when she realized she screamed kinda girlishly. "Hehehe. I'm okay...."

The captain heard the scream and looked over the railing of the crows nest. "For gods sake what the hell is with that boy?" He asked sitting back down so he couldn't be seen. The first mate laughed and nodded. "PUll yourself together. Get that bucket on this ship." He demanded. Laughing harder.

She growled angerly. "Don't pick on me! It's heavy okay! I don't wanna go back down there thank you very much!" She huffed then stated trying to pull the bucket up again. She blinked when she felt like it got heavier. "Huh?" She pulled it up out of the water then smiled. "I caught a fishy!" She was so proud of herself. Now if only she could pull it up.

The captain had come down and hearing her say she'd caught a 'fishy' he covered his face. "Dear god this is more then cruel to do to me. If you can help this poor man buck up I will give myself to the sea." He stated simply shaking his head. The first mate laughed so hard he fell down and a couple other crew members. The Captain sighed. "Pull it up!" He called grabbing the rope from behind her and helping her pull it onto the ship. He grabbed the fish. "I'm taking this to the chef and you all get back to work." He said seriously thinking of shooting something. He went below deck with the fish in his hand. Handing it to the chef he went to his Cabin so he could hear but didn't have to see what was going on.
