"I dont really care if your tired, I think you should go to bed." Pulling the cord out of the wall and out of the phone he started walking towards the door, "There are much worse things then me out there", shooting a glance over his shoulder, "Much worse."

"I'm not some prisoner!" She yelled, then she remembered that she could resend invitations into her house to the vampires perhaps it would work on him. She ran after and glared at him. "Balthazar, I resend my invitation to you, get out." She said crossing her arms.

Balthazar laughed, "What made you think i take orders from you? ... and i certainly dont follow the same code as the vampires. now i can leave this door open if you can be civil or i can shut you in... which do you want?" he said without hesitation. Crossing his arms he looked at her, -If she wasnt so stubborn i might actually like her- he thought with a mental laugh.

"I'll be civil if you would just tell me how you knew about the wolf." She said raising an eyebrow. She was slightly upset that her plan hadn't worked. She knew she was being stubborn, but so was he. -If she wasnt so stubborn i might actually like her- She heard him think, al though it sounded muffled she still could hear him. "I'm not stubborn!" She yelled then covered her mouth. She watched him wide eyes wondering what he was going to do now.

"Ah so your file wasn't lying," he said when she scraemed at him,"they said to be careful around you with my thoughts, they didnt know if you could or not, looks like you can." Balthazar smiled slightly, then suddenly his emotions went flat. "Id stay out of my head, theres things in there that are darker then where even your vampire friends come from." Then emotion returned to his face smiling he looked at her, "And about the wolf lets just say, i saw everything that happened, its your fault that you got hurt, you shouldn't have run away." Smiling balthazar turned away walking out of bekki's room.

Glaring at him as he walked away she walked back to her bed and sat in the middle of the bed, at first she was angry, then for some reason, she started crying. Just little sobs that shook her body none the less. She hated how mean he was to her, and she had to see him everyday for god knew how long. She wished her grandmother was still alive, she'd know how to make her stop crying. She'd make her some hot coco and cool it down to the perfect temperature, then give her some nilla wafers and hold her until she calmed down.

Balthazar went downstairs still trying to sleep, finally he gave up and headed to the door. just as he got there he heard bekki crying, with a slight growl he ran out the door changing as he went, where he stood the large wolf bounded off. He had no idea where he was going he just knew he had to get away for awhile, -Screw the vampires, i should just let her be- he kept thinking though every time he shut it out knowing he himself couldnt do that.

Calming herself down a little Bekki got up and went downstairs. She was going to apologize for being so stubborn and that he was right, she shouldn't have treated him how she did. The front door was swinging open and she could see claw marks on the ground. She ran outside and couldn't see a sign of a struggle. "BALTHAZAR!" She yelled running into the woods.

Balthazar decided he needed to just take a break, slowing to a trot he passed by a damn that pretty much created a water fall over a hill. In his wolf for he sat there in the water, letting it crash down around him. nothing ever felt as good as having a shower in nature, the thundering of the water hid all other noise from his ears. Finally he knew he needed to go back, but he couldnt go back as a wolf. Slowly he stepped behind the waterfall where almost all of him was blocked by the wall of water and he changed back into a human. He storde through the waterfall one last time before turning and watching teh water crash down.

Slightly worried Bekki ran deeper into the woods. "BALTHAZAR!" She yelled as she ran deeper then she had been before. She came to the waterfall and saw the wolf from earlier, she hid behind a stone, then watched as the wolf changed into Balthazar and he walked back into the waterfall then back out. "It was you." She said standing up and walking towards him.

Balthazar was startled by her words, because of the waterfall he hadn't heard her come close. turning so he could see her his eyes widened for a second then relaxed, "I told you i knew the wolf," he said almost shyly shaking the water from his hair. "You were never attacked, and you did hit your head hard. How did you think you got back home afterwards?"

"I..I don't know...I didn't really think about it." She said walking closer until she was standing in front of him. "W..why did you chase me in the first place?" She asked punching him in the chest a little angry. She was more then a little angry that he had toyed with her like that.

"You ran, what was i supposed to do." He said as he grabbed her arm after she hit his chest,"Its my job to protect you i couldn't let out of my sight now that you had left the house." Then he leaned closer so his face was right infront of hers,"Plus where would the fun be if i had let you go?"

Bekki flushed as he grabbed her arm and leaned close. With him so close she could feel the heat radiating off him. She had never had a boyfriend or anything other then her X-vampire boyfriend. And he was so warm. She stepped closer and closed her eyes as her bare legs and arms touched his warm chest. She reached up on her toes and gently pressed her lips against his, the heat from him making her almost sweat, despite the small flakes of snow that was falling.

Balthazar was taken aback from bekki's kiss, at first he just sat there doing nothing wide eyed. He'd never been kissed before, hed always been a tool for the vampires and never allowed anycontact with others. Balthazars other arm wrapped around her waist pulling her even closer, and lifting her up closer to him. His lips finally moving with against her, as he kissed her deeper. Then he let go putting her down, "This isn't right, im not supposed to ever get involoved, your and my imployers would kill me for this you are too valuable for them to kill you.... but me." he let it drop.

Bekki was shocked when he kissed her back, she expected him to push her off. But when he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer, and picked her up her breathing quickened and so did the urgency of the kiss. Sudden disappointment filled her as he let her go."Balthzar, if your with me, they can't hurt you. I've resended every invitation to any vampire who has ever been in my house, and I could talk to Tony, he'd listen to me." She said placing a hand on his chest.

"Not about be, Im their pet, why do you think im here gaurding you. I have no free will, If he knew i had made you bump your head even i would be lashed." Balthazar said his eyes falling to the forest floor, With out a single other word he walked past her. Stopping just behind her, "I'm sorry." he said then he continued towards the house.

"T..that's not fair." She sighed as her mind calmed itself down. She followed him back to the house and went to her room. She didn't lock the door, but she climbed into the bed and turned off the light. She hated this, if she were free of these damn vampires she wouldn't constantly open herself up only to get hurt by them, or their people.

Balthazar sat on the couch unable to sleep, his mind was racing -Why?- was all he could think. Standing up he walked to bekki's room sitting down on the outside wall, curling up he automaticallly changed into a wolf. Softly he whimpered as he rolled up his mind just repeating -why-, as time passed he slowly feel asleep forgetting to get up and walk back to the couch.

Bekki heard Balthazar in the hall way thinking to himself why. She was to tired to wonder what he meant, although she was pretty sure she had an idea. She rolled over onto her stomach, and closed her eyes. -Maybe when I wake it, it will all just be a dream- She thought as she slowly feel into a restless sleep.

Balthazar finally woke up when the light hit his eyes, blinking he stretched realizing what form he was in, quickly he switched back into his human form. Going to the kitchen he made himself a quick breakfast, sitting at the table thinking about what he should do. finally he got up walking to bekki's room, lightly he knocked on the door before walking in. Walking up he shook her shoulder trying to wake bekki up, "Its pretty late in the afternoon, you should probably get up." he whispered right next to her ear.

Bekki was sleeping peacefully, then she heard someone whispering in her ear. Working for the vampires had taught her a thing or two. So she reached up and smacked who ever it was that was next to her, right in the nose. She jumped up to see Balthazar. "Oh gosh, sorry..I forgot you were here." She said handing him a random piece of clothing off the floor.

Balthazar Felt the sting of he hand when it hit his nose, "Oww!!" he shouted, though luckily the blood stopped after a few secounds. "That hurt, Gah i try to wake you and i get a fist to the nose?!" Hequickly grabbed the piece of clothes that she gave him, "Um its time to get up, And im sorry about last night..... I-i-i-i'm sorry." he practically whispered though he thought it at the same time.

"It's fine. Your afraid of the vampires, I understand, So am I. You guys heal pretty quickly don't you? Want me to cook some breakfast?" She asked getting up. She grabbed her robe, a lose blue one that hod to many holes and no rope. She slipped on her slippers and headed down the stairs and started cooking pancakes and bacon.

Balthazar followed her down the stairs, "yeah we have to heal quick, otherwise our fights get to deadly." Balthazar said feeling his nose a bit, "You know that rob doesn't hide much... oh and ill have what ever meat you got." opening the fridge he looked around, do you want anything from here anything to drink?" he said as he pulled out some orange juice.
