"Orange juice sounds good, and sorry my clothes aren't up to your standards, I'm used to living alone, at least during the day." She said as she placed the pancakes and bacon on plates, then fried up two slices of breakfast ham for Balthazar and sat down after cleaning the pan. "I'm off today, so what do you usually do on a Sunday?" She asked buttering her pancakes.

"Eh your clothes just add to the tempation," balthazar said laughing lightly and hesitantly, standing up and grabbing the orange juice and brining it to the table. "I am always working, only time ive ever been able to have fun is when i am off doing somehting as a wolf, thats kinda why i was playing when you met me..." Balthazar was talking but kept playing last night over and over in his head, every detail again and agian, he completely forgot about bekki's ability. Every once in awhile he would look up from his plate at Bekki and it would all start over.

"C..could you please try to stop thinking about last night? Everything your thinking is running through my head also, it's not clear but I can pick up what you though and felt." She said softly as she poured a glass of orange juice and took a sip. She had been thinking about it herself, how warm he had been, how he had felt when he kissed her...How her body seemed to have melted against his...But she had told herself that he was just doing what he thought she wanted, him thinking about it just made it worse, god, she needed to go up stairs and take a cold shower. He did to.

Balthazar looked surprised then remembered who she was, "Oh sorry, " he said trying to change what he was thinking about, -Wolves- he told himself, but some how she kept popping into it. Finally he gave up excusing himself from the table, "I need to go for a walk....," he said "Im sure you know where ill be." With out saying another word he headed off to the waterfall, not even bothering to change into a wolf to get there. Finally when he reached there, sliding off his shirt so he only wore shorts he stepped into the water, Screaming as the water poured down everyonce in awhile. Sitting down he stared at where last night had all happened, trying to get it out of his head.

Bekki sighed and nodded then watched him leave, Once she was sure he was gone she practically screamed as she slammed her head down on the table. -Why am I having so much trouble just looking at him? He's my body guard, he didn't have a choice to be here- She thought as she started washing the dishes, it was a little warm so she took her robe off and draped it over the chair.

Balthazar sat there not even noticing the cold, finallyhe noticed the snow flakes that were falling down, each one made it worse. He kept seeing them landing on her nose or hair and her giggleing, -gah why cant i get her out of my head- he practically yelling in his head. Finally he decided to go for a run, howling once when he first changed he ran to no particualr spot, only making sure to circle the house constantly.

After what seemed like ever he decided to head back "she must be over it all by now" he said aloud to himself, "im sure shes had moments like that so many times". reaching the door he reached up his hand reluctnat to knock, finally knocking.

Bekki dropped the pan in the sink realizing that she had been standing in that one spot fantasizing about Balthazar. She walked over to the door and yanked it open in only her nightgown and blushed when she was Balthazar. "D..did you have a nice walk?" She asked looking down at her light red painted toes.

Balthazar's eyes widened when she opened the door, he struggled to keep his thoughts from doing anything they shouldnt. "Um my walk was .... good." he stammered out, his eyes tracing her body, finally resting on her face as it looked down. He followed he gaze down to her feet, -Nice nails- he thought, trying to keep his mind off other things. "Um can i help you with anything?" he asked barely able to speak.

"N..No, today is laundry day. And thanks, I painted them myself." She said turning around and quickly walking up stairs. She ran a hand through her hair and jumped into an ice cold shower. Biting the inside of her mouth as the ice cold water hit her bare skin, she turned it back to hot and started washing her hair, trying to keep her mind from wandering. "Is this how it's going to be for the next few weeks? Skirting around each other trying not to give in to what we both so clearly want?" She asked herself anf she closed her eyes and leaned against the shower wall letting the water hit her.

Balthazar walked over to the couch, "maybe Tv will keep her out of my mind," he said once he heard the shower running, turning on the tv he played it as loud as he couuld stand it trying to drown out any images that came into his head. "
What is wrong with me, i know we cant do this.. b-but why do i want her so badly." He asked himself, "Why is everything i think about her and that kiss last night, how every snow flake seemed to rest on her just right? Why?" this time looking up when he asked. His head came to rest in his hands, - What should i do?- he thought to himself, over and over again.

Bekki got out of the shower and she heard him think to himself. -What should I do?- "If only I knew." She sighed as she wrapped herself up in a towel and blow dried her hair then wrapped it in curlers. She walked through the room, and got dressed in an old pair of jeans with rips at the knees, and a red and black plaid button up shirt that used to be her grandfathers. She went around the room picking up clothes, then took her basket down stairs and went in the laundry room and reached to turn on the light. Her hand touched something wet where the chain for the light was at, and she could smell the irony smell of blood. "B..Balthazar!" She screamed as she got the light on, her cat Foxy was hanging by the light chain, her stomach slashed open and her blood pooling on the floor. Bekki made to turn out but her foot slipped in the blood and she landed in the puddle. "OH MY GOD!" She screamed as she scuffed around in the blood trying to get up.

Balthazar heard bekki get out of the shower, "Finally," he sighed turning down the TV. As she walked by he tried his hardest not to think about her or anything, seeing the laundry basket he knew where she would be no need to folow her. then as soon as she screamed balthazar was running leaving the TV on and running, reaching teh laundry door he almost slid past. His body already shaking, begging to phase into a wolf though he held back. first thing his eyes registared was Bekki on the ground covered in something, his nose hadn't yet registared teh situation. as he bent down to pick her up is when his nose finally clicked, "Blood!" he exclaimed, "What the...." as his eyes followed the blood to its source. With out a secound though he picked her up and took her out of the room setting her down outside on teh porch.

His eyes peircing he looked at her, "WHO WOULD DO THAT!" his playful ness was gone now, everything in his body told him to force it out of her, but he knew he couldn't.

"I..I don't know...I..I thought she had just gotten lost...o..or was just staying out in the woods or something...I..I've had that cat since I was five." She cried stupidly trying to wipe the blood off her shirt with her hands. Tears were streaming down her face as she tried brushing it off as if it were dust. She was shaking with sobs and let one out every now and then.

Balthazar sighed, "I'm sorry, is there anyway into or out of the house besides the door?". He couldnt tell why, but for pretty much teh first time in his life, slowly he grabbed bekki by the shoulder and pulled her in close, "Itll be ok." he said trying to sound as comferting as possible. "You go inside and watch some Tv, ill clean it all up, ok?" Balthazar said hed clean it but he was really just looking for clues to what was going on.

"I..I need to change." She said still a little shocked she stood up and slowly walked into the house, she stopped as stared into the laundry room, and noticed the window was broken. "T...that wasn't always broken." She said turning back to him. "I..it must have happened when we were at the waterfall." She said then the stress and trama caught up with her and she did what any women would have done in her situation, she fainted.

Balthazar followed her inside, turning away as she stopped at the laundry room again. As he was trying to find cleaning supplies he heard a loud thud , "shit" he said as he turned around seeing her on the floor. Rushing he picked her up again, trying to figure out what to do, quickly grabbing her blathrobe off the chair and a few random clothes from the basket he walked out side, turning and practically running towards teh waterfall. It was the one place he felt safe at, he had no idea why but it felt safe. As he passed into the clearing of the waterfall he didnt bother even waiting, running strait towards the water fall he walked into it letting the water fall over both of them.

Bekki woke up gasping as the water hit her. She was in Balthazar's arms and they were back at the water fall. "Y..you really like it here don't you?" She asked wrapping her arms around his neck and just sitting there was the waterfall cleaned her cats blood off her. She liked just being this close to him, it calmed her, and helped her think straight, most of the time.

"Its a place where i feel like i can be who ever, ... P-p-plus there are a few things i dont want to forget that happened here." he purposely let the image of them kissing to enter his mind. He felt her arms around his neck and he held her closer letting the water thunder around them, he watched her as she was so close his eyes only ever leaving her when he scanned teh forest then they made their way back.

"I..I enjoyed that quite a lot to, and I hope not to forget it." She said looking into his eyes. They were actually quite soft and looked gentle, you could almost see him wagging a tail and chasing it when you looked into them. She smiled and gently kissed him again, this time just a soft peak on the lips but allowed them to linger inches away from his after wards then she looked back down at the water.

Balthazar smiled when she mentioned not wanting to forget, when she kissed him again he so wanted to make it last longer, but held back. as she looked back down at the water he held her closer, as if making sure that she wasn't going anywhere. He knew they had to get out of the water at least for her sake, slowly he stepped out of the waterfall walking over to teh shore. "You should probably change, " he said as he reluctantly put her down, "i brought your robe, and a few other clothes just incase..."

"T..Thanks. Could you turn around real quick?" She asked unbuttoning her shirt. She was used to dressing and undressing in front of people, but only others girls, she'd gone through the whole locker room phase, which is even worse when you hear the teens talking about each others in their heads, she had learned fast that sticking up for someone when no one else had heard the person calling her fat or ugly, was one way to get your but kicked in school. She got dressed in front of the other waitresses at the Bar sometimes but she wasn't about to get undressed in front of him, not if she was going to have to hear him think about it every ten minutes for the next few weeks.

"Oh uh yeah.... sorry, wasn't thinking there." He said knowing that it was a complete lie, but it was all he could say. slowly he turned around walking back into teh water fall, he ran his hands through his short hair just trying to get anything out. Evenutally he decided to sit and just watch the waterfall from the shore, his mind was racing of random images of the times he'd seen bekki, from the embarissing ones to the ones where she took his breath away.

Sighing as she realized that the clothes Balthazar had grabbed were her work short, which were a pair of black Daisy dukes, and a long sleeve shirt that hugged her chest. She pulled them on then sat down beside him. "I'm really not that wonderful, if you knew more about me, about my gift...You'd hate me." She sighed pulling her knees up to her chest. She had always thought of this place as magical, the water never froze, and staying a few degrees warmer then it should..just like Balthazar.

Balthazar smiled, "I know more about you then you know, you forget i got a file on you." he chukled. "But it wasnt until, i first saw you that i well... you know... i-i-i-i even got warned by tony to be careful." he murmered the last part. With out him really noticing he slipped his hand around her pulling her closer to him, "im sorry if i grabbed the wrong clothes." he said looking at her outfit. This time he couldn't help the images that ran through his head, blushing he looked away, though still keeping his hand around her.

"So that file, does it say how I caused my father to murder my mother then kill himself? Does it say that I read my mothers mind a heard that she was sleeping with our pastor? And that I told my dad? Who shot my mother? Leaving me alone with no one in this town, until my grandmother took me in? Does it say all that?" She asked resting her chin on her knees and letting tears fall. She didn't care what he was thinking as he looked her over, she liked knowing he was thinking of her, but she wondered what he'd think of her now.
