Jeremy smirked and gave her a small nod as she got into the car. "Not too bad, got home kind of late though. You?" he asked. He heard his phone begin to blast, hearing the Flogging Molly song he knew it was Marikat.

Aarani arrived at the studio, scratching at his face. "God damn girly facial products." He said, remembering how his aunt had forced him to use it because he'd run out of his own. He stepped inside, immediately spotting Ina in the lobby portion of the studio as he got the text. Checking it, he walked up to her and sat next to her. "Why thank you, love." He said, kissing her cheek. "I'm not as late as I thought I would be." He stood back up, pulling her up and grabbed her guitar case, the bigger of the two, and went to the practice room, setting her case down and moving over to the drums. "About me staying with you, Ina. You sure it won't be a problem?" He shrugged his backpack and jacket off, throwing them in a heap in the corner. "You know I hate pants, and I'm not the smartest in the morning.. I sleep naked, too, so I might be wandering around your flat all out there." He grinned at her. "If you can put up with my sexiness.." He joked at her, doing the "bad joke" sound on his drums.
|
Lizzy smiled and leaned back against the seat as they drove. "It was alright, i fell out of bed again this morning." She admitted with a giggle and a blush. "I've never been to the states, Im so excited!" A grin spread on her face as she thought of them winning this contest and what it would mean for them. Once they pulled up and parked Lizzy got out of the car and took the base from Jeremy. She followed him in and put her bass case to the side before sitting on Jeremy's stomach, she was light enough not to hurt him. "So whats America like?" She asked leaning toward's Jeremy's face.
[[time for class, be back on later.]] |
Ina smiled at Aarani, as he pulled her into the practice room, making sure she grabbed her violin case. "Its no big deal, you're not revealing anything new about your self there. I think I can handle your sexiness for a while. In return you have to put up with my parties. You have a key, right? Just use it to get in later," she grinned, handing him the paper with the article. "Read this, its about our trip to America, we're famous now! Do you know if the tickets got here yet?" She pulled out her violin and started tuning it up. It was a special electric violin that she had made for her a few years back. It was a prized possession equal to that of her guitar. Once it was in tune she plugged it in and let it rock out.
|
Jeremy made an "oi" sound as Lizzy sat on his stomach. "You need to eat more," he jokingly announced to her. "It feels like there's a feather on me stomach," he noted her light weight. He realized afterward that his Irish pronuncation was coming out, and tried to stop it. People in England often made comments about it and prying into his personal life, which got annoying sometimes. "Well, New York was crazy. Everything was so bright," he told her with a smile. "But there were definitely too many yanks walking in the upscale part o' the city," he told her laughing, taking a deep breath of air which caused her to rise up and back down on his stomach. "But we'll be in the south, who knows what it's like down there. They could all be monsters," he told her with a smirk as he made a face, snarling his upper lip and acting as though he had claws on his hands. He laid his head back, closing his eyes for a moment. He wondered when the bandmates would show up, he wanted to check for the tickets, but not without them.
((Okay, bye. :] )) |
Aarani made the "rock on" hand motion. "Yeaah, part-ay. I can handle it, Ina. You know I can." He said, taking the newspaper from her. He cleared his throat and read loudly in an announcer's voice, "Devastation of the Heavens makes it big in America." He slipped his eyes down to where it said "Aarani Ryan" and read about himself. They'd covered nearly everything - him being the drummer and only male in the band, him being bisexual and preferring men, his hate of pants and how he walked around in boxers (they had a lot of girls claiming it was "hot" in the paper), his love of music (his favorite songs included) and his many nicknames. More or less, they were total stalkers. He read up on Ina's section, smiling to himself. "I picked up my paper this morning, but I didn't read it. This is cool.. And I can't wait for the tickets." He smiled, listening to Ina's electric violin, hitting the foot pedal to the bass drum in time with her beat. "Niiice."
|
"Rhythm, you know it." He answered, twirling his drumsticks dangerously, a grin on his face. "Alright, I'll play a beat for four bars, let you get used to it and then you can start your solo. Or, hell, start whenever you're ready." He twirled his sticks again and hit the hi-hat four times, chanting out the number of hits; "One! Two! Three! Four!"; before starting a pattern which involved rapid single-kicks, a cymbal crash every eight hits of the hi-hat and snare drums between the hi-hat hits, looking over at her and grinning. He wasn't exactly meaning to show off, as it was an easy pattern for him--one that he often did with MJ.

"Oh, my mom woke me up this morning... She's awfully noisy when she's cooking," Bella added to the comment with a slightly embarrassed expression, "Honestly, she could wake up the dead with that racket and yet the rest of my family manages to sleep through all of that." A slight blush appeared on her slightly tanned face as she added that last statement.
"Alright, then congratulations to us and lets hope for the very best!" Isabella finished as she gently tapped everyone's glass with her own and took a good sip. Today was such a wonderful day and she was going to make the best of it and her lively outfit was just the beginning of it. After taking another sip, she gasped quietly and placed her cup down back on the counter before speaking again, "Ay nako! Did you guys watch the news yesterday night? They announced about us winning this once in a lifetime opportunity~ I also missed it." Again Bella smiled brightly, remembering the little segment about her and her band mates. "Perhaps we'll be expecting for an interview before we leave? Don't you think?" Just the thought of all of this brand new fame excited her; this was something she'd often dream about, seeing her band in the big leagues and here they were! Super close to that dream! "Estou tão animado (I'm just so excited)! How's my Portuguese? I'm still working on it..." |
Fitch grinned at Sanders as he said about his sister. "And funny thing about my family is they were already up and gone. Muse was the only one left this morning." He laughed softly as he prepared for the toast. The blonde chuckled as they clinked their glasses. "Cheers!" Fitch smiled as he clink all their glasses. Taking a sip of the lemonade he couldn't help the goofy smile on his face. They had really done it. It was so amazing that it had really happened.

Finally getting to the studio MariKat smiled as she went up the elevator and took her headphones out, turning off her mp3 in the process. She stepped out onto the 5th floor and followed down the hallway til she saw the sign above their door that said, "Radio Fiasco". With a smile she walked in to see Lizzie on Jeremy's stomache. "Oh sorry I'll just leave you two alone." She teased the two like she always did. She knew that Lizzie had a crush on Jeremiah and had some pretty good hunches on who Jeremiah liked, Lizzie to be exact. She stepped in and went to her acoustic with a smile while picking it up. "Oh baby did you miss me last night, I had to leave you here all alone." She said as she hugged her beloved accoustic guitar, it was a dark brown with a cresent cut out of the corner and celtic weaving designs along the center ring, it has a signature from the lead singer of the Plain White T's and said, "Happy Birthday, We have high hopes for you! - Tom Higgenson." Her mother had gone to America the year before she died and brought it back. She had met them at a concert that she went to for MariKat and brought back the guitar as a birthday present, considering she had missed the actual birthday the day of the concert. It had been MariKat's most prized possetion since it was given to her and it was normal for her to call it baby and stuff like that.

With a laugh the girl poked his nose playfully. "Hey if i was any heavier wouldnt me sitting here be painful for you?" she asked with a smile. Lizzy giggled as he pretened to be a monster and pretended to hide in fear. "Oh noes the Southern Yanks are gonna eat me!~" She said with a giggle and enjoyed to motion of rising and falling due to his breathing. "I hope i can see New York City when i go...i'd love to see the lights.." The blonde sighed as she leaned back against the cushion of the couch and smiled to herself.
When MariKat walked in Lizzy innerly blushed and outwardly stuck her tounge out before giggling. "Oh did i tell you that my parents are thinking of getting me a puppy?" She said with a grin and imagines a cute lab, or golden retreaiver. A dog that shed be able to hug and roughhouse with. "Im not sure which one i want yet, but i want a big dog." She added, taking out her cellphone and texting Lexi. To:Lex Love: Lizzy Hey, everyone is here but you, Missy. Get your bum over here! |
Jeremy glanced over toward the door when MariKat walked in. He wasn't embarrassed by the scene at all, since it seemed to happen all the time. Plus, he was kind of a flirt, and Lizzy was cute. He watched as MariKat cuddled her guitar, knowing how she felt, he couldn't wait to get behind his drumset. "A dog? I want to come pick one out with you," he confessed with a puppy face. He loved dogs, they were so much fun. "I'd love an Irish terrier, those things are damn cute," he informed anyone who was listening to him ramble. He watched Lizzy pull out her phone and begin to text, and he was curious if it was Lexi. "I wonder where Lexi is," Jeremy thought out loud. He turned his attention back to MariKat, taking another look over at her guitar. He was always fascinated by the celtic designs, obviously. He took in another deep breath, wishing he had smoked that cigarette earlier, which made him sigh a little, he knew he smoked way too much in a day.
|
Alexia set her guitar down and laughed at what Jerimiah said. "You're right I mean it's typical for me to be late but never for any of you guys." She said with another laugh, although this one was false. She was content with the fact that most people thought her lateness was caused by the fact that she was younger than everyone else in the band and she planned on keeping it that way. She had yet to tell anyone about her problems at home, not even Lexi who she had met first. The only real thing that she had ever told anyone about her life was that her mother was dead, the rest she never told about and was happy that so far her bandmates hadn't asked too many questions about her personal life. This being the case she didn't show signs of being annoyed sad or any other negative emotion about her dad around the band. She didn't want anyone to know about her life, not even where she lived daily, she even had people go to her large house and never let them meet her dad. She was more intrested right now about when Lexi would come. She wasn't sure about the others but she was eager to go to America. She had gotten the tickets that morning on her way to the studio when she checked her mailbox at her large house and currently was hidding them in her front pocket of her shorts. She needed Lexi there for her to present them though and it was important that everyone was there.
|
Lizzy smiled at his enthusiasm and nodded. "Sure! and me and you can play with the puppies as we pick one!" The girl giggled and kicked her feel a bit cutely as she finished sending the text and rolled her eyes at Jeremy. "Oh give her a break, she does have a FIANCEE to take care of." Sticking her tounge out at Jeremy she wondered what being engaged must be like. Knowing you've found the one you want to spend the rest of your life with? Glancing at Jeremy out of the corner of her eyes she blushed and turned away.
|
Jeremy laughed at MariKat's joke. He wasn't usually late, his body did have a habit of waking itself up when it needed to be. His father didn't normally get in the way, he was usually still in bed with some girl. "Oh yeah, that's gotta be a hassle," Jeremy answered sarcastically. He knew Lexi loved her man, but after growing up with his father he didn't even know what love was. "I just wanna know if we got those damn tickets," he confessed impatiently. "Play me something beautiful while we wait, Marikat," he said, with a playful begging tone in his voice. He knew he had a short attention span, and needed something to keep it. He started to breath in weird ways, using Lizzy bouncing around on his stomach as entertainment.
|
"It's those tones that make me unsure if you're serious or not." MariKat said as she again picked up her guitar happily not caring if he was serious. She wasn't really gonna play unless he was serious but she did want to play a song that she had heard earlier. It was stuck in her head and she already had the cords for it memorize, even though it wasn't a guitar song, and the words. She would be happy just holding her guitar wether she was playing it or not. Sitting down on one of the bean chairs she smiled as she held her guitar and started to silently tune her guitar with care.
|
Tanya let the drummer set up the rythm for a measure, then began to play a dark, throbbing base beat that seemed to make the room shake (then again, it might've. She liked her amp to be loud). Around the twelfth measure, she stopped playing suddenly. "Ooh! Song idea!" She said, pulling a notepad and pen out of her guitar case.
To any other person, this would have seemed random. However, as Tanya had written or co-written several songs for the band [[if that's okay with everyone else, at least]], it wasn't uncommon for her to run off in the middle of practice to write down her latest thought process. She tried to keep it to herself until their group practices were finished for the day, but during solo runs or just plain jam sessions like this, she couldn't help herself. |
Lizzy repeatedly said "up, down up down" as Jeremy's breath caused her to rise and fall. Giggling she looked down at him "Does this amuse you? Ive been reduced to a toy?" She smiled and watched MariKat tune her guitar and thought about getting her base, but she was enjoying the attention from Jeremy way too much to even move.
|
Jeremy laughed when MariKat wasn't sure if he was serious. "Yeah, I really do want you to play me something," he told her smiling. He watched her tune the guitar, and thought about how much he hated doing it. He usually steered clear of guitars, he just hated going through the trouble of tuning them. He watched as Lizzy seemed to enjoy the ride he was giving her, and smirked. "And what if you have?" he asked joking, removing his hand from behind his head momentarily to give her a playful push on her arm. It was then that he realized that his drumsticks were still in his back pocket, and it was beginning to get uncomfortable. He lifted his body up just enough to grab them and pull them out, and with much ease since the girl was so light. He drobbed them down on the floor next to the couch.
(( I think I'm heading to bed for the night, so I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye. :] )) |
[[That's fine.]]
Sticks stopped playing his beat, unbuttoning his shirt and tossing it to the side as he had the habit of doing whenever he was starting to get serious about practicing for awhile. His reason was that he could move his arms and wrists easier when they didn't have anything on them; perhaps a deeper one was he just like showing off his physique. Regardless, he watched her write some stuff down, giving a kick on the bass-drum occasionally. "So, what's the idea?" He asked after a few moments, cracking his neck. Often, he and Tanya would collaborate on songs and write them together; sometimes MJ was involved as well, sometimes they wrote on their own [although Jacob never shared songs that he wrote by himself, saving it for his solo effort]. Almost half of the time, Jacob would write the lyrics solely by himself; simply because no-one else got around to it fast enough for him. And it showed, because Jacob's lyrics were often utterly depressing and bleak, hopeless and sad-sounding. No one really seemed to mind though, since they were ranked the absolute best band in America which meant they were doing SOMETHING right. |
"Ok awesome." Just as she finished tuning her guitar she started playing a soft and sweet love song.

Ina lowered the violin, relaxed from playing. She always was after playing what ever instrument she could. She had been around music her whole life and now hate silence. "Thanks," she smiled at her band mate. "Uhg, where are those two, I bet one of them has the tickets! I want them now before my parents hire someone to kidnap me and force me to come home!" she whined, stating one of her real fears. She wouldn't put it past her father to hire someone to forcibly take her home for good, he had threatened it before she left. After her little hissy fit, she pulled out her phone and texted Cierra and Rosie.
Where are you guys??? Aarani and I both beat you!!! <3<3<3 Ina <3<3<3 |
Tony smiled and could not help but to laugh softly. After the last toast was mad, she drank. Lemonade, the best drink on earth, in her opinion, well actually behind a few other drinks but it was to early to drink them. Shaking her head, she grabbed the tickets and looked them over. “Last night, program. Nah sorry love, my brother were kind of busy trying to kill me again, ha! Hmm what's this: March 28th, we arrive at the airport at 6am.. ew, then we arrive in US around 4 pm. Arrive at our new place to live around 6ish. Hmms.” She found an extra paper with the ticket, opening it up, it showed the schedule of what will happen for the next two months. “Hey guys look at this, they have activities and stuff lined up for us.” She laid the paper on the couther so everyone could see. [if I missed a few details, just tell me and I’ll edit <3] ------------------------------------- Linnea dreamed a simple dream, a stage was set, the band was rockin’, the crowed was screaming and she was singing their hit song. Linnea dance to the beat as the solos continued. She swayed and grooved to the beat, her heart beating fast, this was it, the finally show down, the final concert. If they win this, then they were the best in the world. However, like all her dreams, lightning crashed and now started the horror. Ever since what happened with her old ex-father, she has been having nightmares, good dreams turned bad. Suddenly she sat up, breathing deeply, her eyes wide open. Sighing she looked over and saw that MJ was still asleep and Sticks and Tanya were in the studio playing. She sat up and walked over to the little kitchen. She poured herself some berry-flavored water. She was now wide-awake but just needed a few minutes to collect herself. [boos! If there was something I missed, tells me loves<3] |
