Oh great. A girl. He thought.
He knew this was the test that would get him into Lord Nagi's army, so he did not protest. He smiled at Legacy as he took a quick deep breath. As he exhaled he felt his body changing. Legacy was no longer looking at Belbyer, she was looking at an exact replica of Jaenelle. "Good enough?" He asked in a very soft voice nothing like his own.

Raizo 02-20-2010 02:06 AM

By the time Nagi entered the dining room and sat down at the head of his fourteen person table, the servants were already bringing out the food. There were only two plates set out, one for himself and the other for Jaenelle. The feast consisted of various meats, most of them were rare cooked, but seeing as though Nagi wasn't eating with another vampire some were well-done or medium-rare. Along with the foods, there were several rare wines being held by the servants that stood next to the table. Just like the rest of the castle, the dining room was dimly lit and lining the walls were, what looked like, stone soldiers. If something were to go wrong and his castle was invaded, those stone's were his last line of defense.

Fate's Pearl 02-20-2010 02:10 AM

Legacy laughed, she laughed so hard in fact she almost fell over. "Oh I think you've passed my test thus far." She said taking a breath. "But you have yet to ask me to shift a last time. Then I may test your fighting skill though I think you'll do fine." It was hard for her to keep a straight face and quickly waved her hand so he'd turn back before she started laughing yet again.

Bravos 02-20-2010 02:14 AM

Belbyer laughed along with Legacy. As she waved her hand he shifted back to his true, male form. It wasn't very pleasant being a girl. Considering he wasn't born as one. He decided to make Legacy feel what he felt. "Turn into me." He asked with a slight smile.

Kai La Morte 02-20-2010 02:14 AM

Levitating just three feet off of the ground Kaelos grinned, her eyes may have been closed but ghostly images danced before her mind's eyes, watching Nagi closely, creating tactical plans for how she would next encounter him. Her tail whipped about, slashing at the small animals which dared to approach her. Just as a rabbit approached, her body erupted in flames, wings wrapped around her and a small, black lined barrier encased her body, repelling any possible arrows from archer's bows, or swords from knightly hands. When she saw the man enter the Dining Hall her stomach growled in loud protest "silence" she commanded, and it did just so.

her eyes opened to slits when she fell to the ground, she landed in a low crouch then slowly stood to her feet, looking up at the sky, hand on her katana she thought it was a good time to make another appearance, since afterall, she had seen the events unfold with Janelle, the newest addition to Nagi's little army.

In just a moment's time she was standing in the shadows of the Hall, eyes glowering once more like Nova's ready to implode, a grin crept o'er her haunting features, her barbed tail wrapped around her leg as she waited. Watching her prey, knowing that none of them stood a chance, and, alas, she wanted no violence at the moment. Of course however, if one attacked, she'd be ready for them.

Once Jaenelle entered the dimly lit dining room she forgot that the servant even existed. She sat at the only other place with a plate. She didn't want to be rude and start before him, though she gladly would have she was so starved.
"My lord, Legacy said before that you have expanded your boarders by taking another town, which town did you take?" Jaenelle said to break the silence and so she could begin taking food and calling for wine.
Something didn't feel right. There was something wrong with the shadows in the room. Jaenelle had never been near a shadow demon before so she couldn't tell what was wrong. "My lord, there's something wrong." She looked around trying to find the disturbance.

Fate's Pearl 02-20-2010 02:24 AM

Legacy smiled. "Happily." She stated simply. Her body shifted and she became a mirror image of him. "And does this satisfy what you have in mind?" She asked though her voice was now his. She moved around him her movements mirrored those he'd make. She wasn't truly uncomfortable considering Nagi had her shift around like this a lot depending. "You need a shower by the way." She told with a grin.

Raizo 02-20-2010 02:27 AM

Nagi shrugged,"I have no idea. All I could tell was that it was a small farming village. It's name was of no importance to me, I just needed more territory to expand my army, keep them in shape, and to increase the fear in my enemies." He grabbed a pair of utensils that were set in front of him and started to cut into a steak. He felt the disturbance as well and quickly swallowed the food that was in his mouth,"What do you want demon? If you wish to speak privately, come back when my soldiers are resting so you won't be a nuisance to them. I don't want them wasting energy on the likes of you." He placed the utensils back down on the table and leaned back, now holding a golden goblet. He held the goblet out as one of the servants poured some wine into it. When the servant finished and backed away, Nagi took a sip of the wine, then placed the goblet back down on the table.

Bravos 02-20-2010 02:28 AM

"Very impressive" Said Belbyer. He felt as if he was looking in a mirror until she began to walk around him, she moved, just as he would. He felt her walking around him. A shower. He thought. "If you think so, then do you think once we're done you can lead me some place where I can get cleaned up?"

Fate's Pearl 02-20-2010 02:39 AM

Legacy smiled and shifted back to herself. "Yes, I can do that." She stated simply. She brushed a touch of dirt off her shoulder. "But first." She said with a smile. "We should write up a contract with the Lord. It'll make my life easier just to get that out of the way." She said with a smile as she stretched letting her back pop. "Besides you seem to have shifting down, and you have good reflexes. You'll be of use to us. And the cherry on top of that lovely surprise is your acctually quiet good yourself. Its almost refreshing. I have great distaste for the elf, and rosemary so I'd advise both to be kept away from me. You see." She said motioning him to follow her into the castle. "She wasn't tested but because her blood is his type, she was allowed in. It kind of makes me sick really but I've done enough to upset him for today. I'll be forced to bring it up latter." She continued.

Kai La Morte 02-20-2010 02:39 AM

"Excuse Me?" were the only words that came from her mouth (for the time being), the goblet in which he was holding quickly melted, tainting the wine within. She stepped from the shadows, fuming from lack of respect. A man, in his mid 20s could not take her down, this she knew, Seamus possibly, but, him? No. She stepped toward him, head tilting downward, she had her sword out in just a moment's time, steel glinting in the dull light Stubborn Ass the shadows themselves pranced around him, slowly smothering the flames which lit the hall, one set of talons traced his jawline, the other his pelvis, ready to slice him to shreds on any given command. In one bound Kaelos was on the table, staring down at the man she had once trained, her sword's tip at his forehead and boot at his throat.

She decided that it was better to let him see his own death so, when the flames erupted from the torches strategically placed around the Hall she smiled, knowing they were hers. She tilted her head to the side, waiting for him to scream, she leaned down the slightest bit, readying herself for the kill "Your men would die at my Master's hands, and at my feet, you disrespect me, you are disrespecting him.." her words came in a long hiss "You've damned yourself. You have no one but yourself to blame" the talons cut into his skin, allowing his vampiric blood to stain such pale, white, delicate skin..

Bravos 02-20-2010 02:48 AM

Belbyer smiled at Legacy. "I'm glad to be of use." He followed Legacy into the castle as she spoke of the elf. "I see. Well I'll be honest, the way I met her didn't leave behind a very good impression. " He remembered how he saw Jaenelle jump from Legacy's shadow and stand in that attack pose. He really couldn't believe she was doing that. She looked so weak that a simple hit would take her down. "Let's hope that she's stronger than she appeared to be today." He said.

Fate's Pearl 02-20-2010 02:56 AM

Legacy said laughing softly. "I'd be amazed if she is." She stated simply. She walked to the dinning hall and sighed. "Um...guess Lord Nagi got himself into a pickle." She stated simply as she walked in and found herself kind of confused on the situation. "What is this?" She questioned rolling her eyes. "Lord Nagi what did you do to piss off the demon?" She questioned annoyed already. Looking at the end of the table she motioned for Jaenelle to do something. Though she knew the demon would easily crush her and wondered if that was her secret motive.

EmilyNova 02-20-2010 02:57 AM

Jaenelle took food and began to eat and even called someone over to pour wine into her goblet. She continued eating until the demonic woman appeared and jumped on the table. She watched for her lord's reaction until she saw the woman cut Lord Nagi with her talons. That was when something inside Jaenelle switched her from afraid to murderous. She push her chair away as if afraid of the demon then leaped on top of her to knock the demon away from Lord Nagi.

Kai La Morte 02-20-2010 03:04 AM

Kaelos pushed Janelle to the side, the little body not even phasing her, the shadows quickly gripped her and held her right where she was "so.. Nagi collected an innocent and stupid little bitch did he?" she stepped down from the table and walked over to the elf, she placed a slender hand around her throat then lifted her up off of the ground, holding her high in the air, her face just inches from hers "i can see why he finds your blood intoxicating" she laughed long and loud, her tail whipping at his clothing, tearing his shirt and yet again shearing his skin "you think you can stop me?" she laughed again roaring in the girl's face, pushing her hair back, her large animalistic fangs protruding from behind black lips "wrong" she threw the girl to the ground with tremendous force, watching as the shadows recollected back around her, firmly holding her in place, every so often nipping at her neck and shoulders, tasting small amounts of her blood. Teasing their tastebuds until Kaelos said it was alright to feed.

She looked at Legacy. Smiled then dipped her head in a nod "He's shown disrespect to me" she laughed brushing her talons across the front of his throat, feeling the slight lump of his jugular, knowing, it would do something considering he was a halfbreed and all. When she looked back at the girl her wings were folded back against her back, She was in her fiercest form afterall. White hair glistening in the fire's light, blue energy swirling at her fingertips, she was ready had anything else happened "and his new pet.. well lets just say... she's going to be in a for a little surprise if she chooses to attack me again" she snorted "pathetic" she could talk big, as well as attack big. Thus meaning she was a powerful Ally, if Nagi whipped his ass in shape and respected the billion(s) year old demon.

Warryck heard a group of men talking in the desert about heading to an elf's house by the name of Airan. They were plotting something dastardly and he knew only he could stop their plan since he was the only person around at the moment. So he wrapped his scarf around his head to conceal his identity and jumped down, brandishing his weapons skillfully. He landed on top of one of the men, which broke his fall and knocked the man out, reached for his abnormally large boomerang and threw it, knocking out a couple and left one standing. He knew he had plenty of time before the curved tool would return to blackout it's target and he said in a fake heavy voice, "Where is Airan's house? I know you know, so save me the trouble and you can leave with every part of you intact." The man babbled in a raspy voice, "I-I-I don't know who you are talking about." Warryck's laugh was muffled by the wrap covering his face and he took a step closer to the man. He spoke again, but this time with more authority, "Where is Airan's house?" He lifted the man off the ground by a few inches with one hand and cocked his free arm back in a threatening motion. The man finally obliged and gave up the information, "Alright, alright ... he lives west of h-here. Please let me li...," the boomerang whacked the cowardly informant unconscious. Warryck dropped the man on the ground and shook his head disapprovingly at the victims of his attack and collected his boomerang from the hot sand.

Warryck took a black stallion from the unconscious group and departed from his home of a few years. He rode speedily across the barren landscape of the Grudo Desert as the sun sat ablaze over his head. Night soon fell as the young warrior walked slowly on the now cool desert floor while holding onto the reins of the horse. As he walked lazily through the desert until he felt the the lush green grass of a forest, which surprised him for a minute. He should have stayed alert because the moment he let his guard down, the horse took off through the thick woods. Warryck yelled out in pain and swore loudly at the beast to stop, but it didn't until it reached a small cottage. The steed came to a sudden stop and it launched him a short distance from the door step, which was occupied by three females. "Damn horse, I'll get you back for this ..." The horse snorted at him in a a sort of agitated tone.

Belbyer Saw all that was going on in the dining room. Jaenelle was now trapped by shadows and Lord Nagi was being held down by this demon. Belbyer knew this was an oportunity to show Lord Nagi what he was truly capable of. He softly moved Legacy to the side. "I'll handle this" He told her. He walked into the room, took a very deep breath and closed his eyes. A few seconds later he opened them. He had taken the demon's form. He raced to the dining table and swung at the demon scratching its face with his talons. Then he took a few steps back and ran towards her again, this time pushing her off Lord Nagi and onto the wall. "You're not the only strong one around here." He told the demon as he freed Jaenelle from the shadows and placed her by Legacy. "Make sure she's okay" He told legacy, and he turned back to face the demon.

Kai La Morte 02-20-2010 03:27 AM

The only thing knocked from her, was a shadow-like form of herself, she looked back at it, grinned then looked down at Belyber, with a loud roar she charged toward him, the shadow sifting through her and at Janelle, quickly forcing her back to the ground, the woman was encased in inky darkness, the torches quickly began to extinguish the flames, leaving the room subdued to Kaelos' full power, she tackled the boy to the ground her feet on his hands, shadows holding down his feet and neck her sword at his stomach cutting deeply into his flesh "i would not have harmed you had you not harmed me" she sneered carving out chunks of his flesh, the only visible light now were her eyes. The brightly glowing, swirling array of orange and red "you've done this to yourself" she cackled allowing his blood to soak into the stone beneath him, hoping to have done viable damage she stepped away from him, leaving him to the mercy of her pets and her family, she then turned her attention to Janelle, an eerie laughter arising from the Demoness' throat "you little one.. have no life ahead of you" she growled "you've damned yourself as much as your master" she wanted to spare them, something told her that they were foolish, that they were nothing but mere children, but even children needed to be taught a lesson, she gripped the woman's throat, quickly sliding her from the shadow's clutches and threw her against a wall, still holding her "you do not attack me, for i can end your life within a matter of seconds" she threw her against another wall, toying with her "understand?" she had no mercy for her, when she looked over, her eyes locked on Legacy, if she even moved an inch, she'd paralyze not only Nagi but also the two who had so foolishly attacked her "How are you doing boy?" She asked Belbyer, her eyes never veering from Legacy.

When no answer came she laughed, knowing that the shadows were tearing at his flesh, deepening his wounds, consuming whatever they've torn, enjoying his flavor "you know. Every being has a different taste, including you two" she grinned "I am your ally, if you wish for me to remain this way, i advise you to accept defeat and walk away" she cackled yet again, this time, the flames of the torches once more roared to life, revealing a very bloody mess spreading out through each groove of the stone path, bathing the dirt, turning it to mud. Her mouth watered from this, every bone in her body ached for the liquid, but, she alas refused "got it?.. or, are ye too foolish to accept such a feat?"

Fate's Pearl 02-20-2010 03:40 AM

Legacy sighed. "Go figure." she muttered. "Let the elf up, I'll deal with her. But you know as well as I you can't kill Lord Nagi. Not even when you have the utter most desire to do so and the oppertunity so willingly presents itself. He's much to important expecially now." She said with a distant motion towards the moon outside. "So perhaps we can slow down, start over. It appears It would be easier if we settled down and acted like civilized being yes. Instead of trying and failing to kill each other."

It appeared her words where not good enough. "ALRIGHT!" She yelled. "Thats enough. They aren't trained demon let them up and heal their wounds. Now is not the time to kill or seriously injure those around you. I'm sick of your playing let them be. Is what you want to teach them to be disloyal? SO they may kill the lord that you as much as I need for plans to work out? To the very thing you've been waiting for?" She questioned. She wasn't stupid enough to attack a shadow demon, and she also didn't have time to stop the other shifter from doing it either.

Livian looked at the man tossed by his horse. "Uhh....Hello there, how are you?" She asked looking over with a giggle. She popped a bone chunk in her room. "Oi I do hate stubborn horses." She mused before looking over. "Hey I thought I heard another horse before you came. Did you have a friend a head of you?" She asked.

Kai La Morte 02-20-2010 03:47 AM

She smiled, light flooding the room, just when everything appeared normal she sighed long and loud looking over at Nagi who was once more unharmed, as well as Balbyer (is that it? o.o) she sighed and set Janelle back on her feet, patting her head lightly, she wasnt whipped just tired, she wanted to dethrone Nagi but now, was not the time to do it. She looked down at Legacy and, with a smile seeping with respect, she bowed, muttering her thanks in Latin, needing to pay a visit to her later on.

Something about the small woman sparked interest within the demon, she had asked so it would be. She turned to the other two, ready to dismember them at any moment "act out like that again, and nothing will save your lives" she cackled walking back into the several shadows, observing them all once more, nothing further would provoke her.

Bravos 02-20-2010 03:52 AM

Belbyer stood, looked over at Jaenelle to make sure she was alright and walked towards Legacy. "Well that was unexpected. Who is she anyway?" he asked her. "And is this a usual event around here?"

Kai La Morte 02-20-2010 03:59 AM

"who am i?" a voice came from the shadows, she laughed then rolled her eyes taking on a more neutral appearance, one that took much more to anger her in, she smiled, cocked her head then stepped out into the open, looking down at Belbyer with a friendlier smile "or who is she?" she pointed pointed over to Janelle, curiosity sweeping across her features, she shuffled over to the girl, inspecting her tiny frame and healed another insignificant wound "sorry about that" she growled hating having to say that dreadful word.

To be fair, she's split into three sections, Kaelos, the shadow demon, Kaelin her neutral shadow, then Kai, a friendlier rendition of Kaelin with a more human outlook on life.

Fate's Pearl 02-20-2010 04:01 AM

Legacy took a deep breath and sighed. "I sure hope not. But its hard to tell. Things get a little crazy these days. I'm not sure her name but with her power I'm assuming she's a very old and powerful demon." She stated simply. Reaching over she brushed off the fellow shifter and sighed. "You see...its easier if we let Lord Nagi deal with is own fights. Jaenelle, you've shown to be rather stubborn and worthy of being here. I appreciate your concern for the lord but lets keep the fighting down until your energy and strength is back. I hate loosing recruits early on." She said with a smile offering both of them some wine before sitting down. "Wasn't that a lovely event?" She questioned looking at them.

Looking back at the demon she sighed softly. "I was thinking he was asking about you dear demon. When your in one form. Unless you want to introduce all three." She said with a slight tilt of her head.

Bravos 02-20-2010 04:02 AM

"I was asking about you." said Belbyer "I already know who the elf is, even though I haven't had the oportunity to speak with her." He turned to Jaenelle. "I'm Belbyer" he stated. He turned back to face the demon. He accepted the wine offered by Legay and took a seat. "Yes. Very lovely." he responded. "Now about that contract I came here for. What does it involve?" He was looking for a way to avoid speaking of what had just hapened, and the contract was the first thing that came to mind.

Kai La Morte 02-20-2010 04:07 AM

"You cant know of those.. have.. you heard of me?" she asked, her thin eyebrow cocking at her, she laughed softly before looking down at Belbyer lightly poking her index finger into his forehead, careful not to harm him "Kaelos Kaelin Kai at your service" she was forcing herself to behave at this point, Legacy had brought up a good point with needing to keep the lives of those they had so far.

Hope sparked deep within her "Kai is what persona i've taken as of now, it's how you all are still alive, Kaelos is the one you have to worry about" she grinned, proud of who she had become over the past few decades, having clawed her way from demon to devil "and then Kaelin is my neutrality, she's the core of who i am. Although kaelos is a tad... brutal" she cackled, quickly clasping her hands over her mouth.

She was, somewhat legendary, having roamed with the mighty Demos at one point, dinned with lenniel and studied under lucifer before his demise, very few knew of her anymore, that was truly a tragic event, when the evil of old began to fade from the minds of many to be replaced by the newer, less vicious lineage. Those who'd rather enjoy company with humans rather than their taste.
