Dawn went to his side as she ignored her own wounds from the fight. "Hikaru..." Her eyes stayed on him as she tried to tend to his wounds as best she could.

As Hikaru's wounds were being tended, he looked over to her still breathing a bit heavily and frowning. "Da-D-Dawn....I'm sorry...." he said quietly, while Daigo was still in shock from seeing how strong they really were together. Dammit.....at this rate...I'll never beat them! he thought as he noticed an opporunity to get both Dawn and Hikaru at the time but wasnt even sure how to.

She touched his face and smiled as she looked at him. "It's alright. We're alive and together. That's all that matter, okay?" Dawn said as she leaned in and kissed his lips, softly. "I love you."

As he felt her kiss, he smiled gently as he leaned back in and kissed her lips back. "I love you too." Hikaru said as he heard footsteps rushing towards them, he slightly turned over her shoulder as he saw Daigo charging at them. No!! I wont let him hurt her!! he pushed Dawn right over to the side as Daigo screamed in vengence. "Die dammit!!!" he yelled as he stabbed Hikaru right into the middle of his chest slamming him into the ground.

Her eyes grew wide as Hikaru pushed her out of the way and took the hit. "Noo!! Hikaru!!" Dawn growled and punched at Diago's back and chest. "Let him go!" She cried as she tried to free her lover.

As Daigo grinned, he ripped his arm right out of Hikaru's chest and backing up away from them both. Finally! hes gone! he thought even though he was wrong. Hikaru was unconcious with several broken ribs and slightly damaged spine as he bled from his chest with the blood going down to his stomach turning his shirt dark red. A-a-am I.....go-going to die?.....

Dawn cried as she looked at him and touched his face. "Hold on, Hikaru!" Her eyes closed as she picked him up and carried him out of Daigo's lair. She ran towards her house as she sobbed and looked at him.

As Hikaru was being carried back to her house, his chest began to spurt out a bit of more blood. It covered his shirt in more blood as it turned even darker red and his eyes began to lose their color even though they were closed. I.....I....dont wa-wa-want to die.....n-n-not now... he thought to himself, meanwhile Daigo grinned as he walked back to his seat and began to clean his hand from the blood. "Now....the final thing...I have to do....is to take Dawn....to be mine.....she has no choice to be mine now....that fool Hikaru is dead..."

She carried him to her house and laid him down on the couch. Dawn cried as she got the first aid kit and looked at him. "Please, hold on, Hikaru." Her hands shook as a little as she started to stitch him up. "Don't die on me...remember our plan? We were going to get married and I think I might be pregnant." The female vampire said as she tried to smile.

As he laid on the couch and was being stitched up, he didnt show any signs of emotion in his face as he stayed unconcious. While inside his own thoughts he wanted more then anything to live and be with Dawn. I....I dont want to die.....I dont want to die... he kept repeating to himself.

Her lips went to his as she finished cleaning his wounds. "Please, Hikaru don't die." Dawn closed her eyes as she cried and hang her head.

After about half an hour, Hikaru began to groan a bit in pain as he slowly opened his eyes. His pupils were barely seen as they looked a bit grayish from still being weak. He looked down at Dawn as he laid his hand onto the back of her head smiling softly.

Dawn looked up as she felt his hand on the back of her head. Her eyes went to him as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Hikaru..." She smiled and kissed him as she cried. "I'm so happy your alive!"

As he kissed her back he moved one of his hands away from behind her head and onto her cheek wiping away her tears. Hikaru smiled as he looked at her at eyes. "Dawn.....I-...I'm sorry.....I made you worry.......can you....fogive me?"

She nodded and smiled as she covered his hand with hers. "Of course, I can. I love you!" Dawn said as she looked at him and cried more. "I'm glad your okay."

He smiled as he wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her closer to him. "I love you too......and I always will....." he said quietly as he kissed her lips deeply once again. ......Well....at least...Daigo thinks I'm dead now....but he'll probably go after Dawn now too....

Her lips stayed him his as he hugged her to him. Dawn pulled back a little and looked into his eyes. "You're injured. We shouldn't be so close like this." She said softly as she touched above his chest.

He looked down at his bandaged chest as he poked the middle of the bandage feeling the hole was still there. Hikaru smiled and looked back up at her with his arms going around her back, pulling her a bit closely. "Come on....i-its not that bad....cant we stay like this....a little longer?" he asked as he kissed her neck softly.

Dawn closed her eyes as she felt his lips on her neck. "Honey, you have a hole in your chest, that's pretty bad. But I suppose a little longer." Her eyes went to his as she rubbed his bare chest. She had to take his bloody shirt of to get to his wound.

Hikaru smiled as he looked a bit toward her and tilted his head. "Yeah.....I guess its bad.....but I dont want to let you go.....after almost losing you..." he whispered into her ear as he felt a slightly sharp pain in his chest from hugging her like this.

She touched a finger to his lips to shush him as she looked at him. "You're never going to lose me. I will always be yours and no one elses, no matter how hard they try." Dawn said as she kissed his chest and lips.

His eyes slightly widened as he felt her lips onto his chest and lips as well. He slowly began to move his hands down to her waist as he pulled her body still closer even if the pain was slightly unbearable.

Her eyes went to his as he pulled her closer and smiled at him. "Don't hurt yourself, Hikaru. I don't want to bandage you up again anytime soon." Dawn said as she kissed his neck and lips.

He smiled as he tilted his head and nodded. Hikaru gave a little nervous laugh as he held onto her body. "I wont. I promise." he as he kissed her lips back softly, slowly though his stomach began to growl as he looked down between at his stomach laughing a bit nervously again. "Ca-c-can we g-get something to eat, love?"

Dawn smiled as she nodded and kissed his lips again. "I'll go hunt for us. You stay here and rest." Her eyes stayed on him as she started to leave. "Don't move unless you absolutely have to, okay?"
