Jack scratched the top of his head and smiled a bit nervously, as he grabbed onto the milk and opened the top and took a sip. "I usually eat on top of sprial hill.....it seems so much more calm and peaceful there." he said with a smile as he looked up at Sally.

Sally smiled and opened her milk. "I go there at night when I can't sleep."

"Its just as peaceful during the day....." Jack said as he looked out a window being able to see it from a large distance even though it looked so tiny from far away.

Sally smiled and nodded. "I bet." She said softly.

As Jack looked away from the hill he looked into Sally's eyes smiling lightly. "Sally......what class do you have next?" he asked staring into her eyes.

"Scaring and caring...why?" She asked as she started in on the snake and spider stew.

Jack just shrugged his shoulders slightly as he smiled at Sally. "Just wonder......and I think Oogie could use some of that too." he said with a laugh. Oogie at the time had finished his plans and actually planned on heading to school.

"The scaring or the caring?" She asked with a soft giggle.

Jack sat there looking at Sally giggle as he laughed a bit rubbing the back of his head with a smile. "I think both.....hes not even scary at all." he said with as he kept laughing. Oogie was finally at school, but he was in the office signing in late.

"He is a bit scary...at times..." She said quietly as she bit into her apple again.

Jack shook his head as he still smiled at Sally. "The only thing that seems 'scary' to me.........is what he is made of." he said thinking about all the bugs that squarm inside him as he felt a sudden cold shiver go down his spine. Oogie had finally signed in late as he looked a the time seeing it was lunch he started to walk towards the cafeteria wheather it was almost time to go or not.

sally smiled then froze as she looked up at the doors. Oogie stood there looking around.
"Umm Jack..." She whispered nodding towards the doors.

Jack looked at Sally in wonder strangly seeing her nod her head over towards the door. "Hmm? what is it--?" before he could finish saying his question he saw Oogie walk into the cafeteria as he walked up to the lunch line and grabbed himself a lunch. "Oogie......." he said with a quiet voice. He hadnt noticed Sally or Jack sitting down at a table as he grabbed his lunch and walked over to sit with the vampire brothers and sisters.

Sally looked down at her plate fearfully and didn't realize she was shaking.
"We...we should leave..." She said playing with a loose string on her arm.

Jack looked over towards Sally seeing her play with the string on her arm and kept her head down. "Dont worry, Sally.....he wouldnt be stupid enough to hurt any of us here." he said with a slightly gentle and soothing voice as he frowned a bit. "But if you really want to go....then I'll go with you."

Sally nodded and stood up and grabbed his hand. Dumping both their trays in the trash she pulled him out of the cafeteria before anyone could notice or look up at them. Sighing she walked to the Library and into the very back away from anyone being able to see or hear them.

Oogie hadnt noticed that Sally and Jack had left the cafeteria, nor did he even notice that they were there in the first place as he kept eating his food and looking out the window grinning thinking about how great it will be to ruin the dance and celebration. Back in the library Jack was looking at Sally as he was a bit in wonder. "Sally.....why did we go all the way back here?" he asked looking back towards the front for a moment then back at her.

"I..I don't know...I just walked..." She sighed resting her head on his shoulder and wrapping her arms around him. "I hate being scared to walk around the school...I should just drop out and be home schooled again." She sighed closing her eyes as she held onto him.

Jack frowned deeply as he raised his arms up slowly and hugged Sally as well. "Sally.....if you drop out......then.......we cant see each other as much." he said with a sadful expression looking down at her.

"I know...That's why I'm going to try and suffer through it...think he might still try to ruin the dance?" She asked looking up at him sadly.

"Oogie.....he wont give up on what he does when he plans something.......hes not doubt still going to.." Jack said with a soft sadful voice looking down at the ground. "Please Sally........I dont want you to suffer because of me........if you really want to drop out.....I'll go with you." he said with a determined voice.

Sally looked up at him wide eyes.
"Jack No...If you drop out then you'll never be able to become the pumpkin King...and your dad would HATE me." She said kissing his chin and sighing.
"I'll stay..." She said softly.

Jack shook his head once again lightly. "I told you.....Sally....if I become pumkin king and your not there by my side.....I wont accept it...." he said with a sadful expression, after hearing she would stay he was beginning to smile a bit. "I'm sorry if I'm making this decision hard on you.....I just dont want to lose you."

"It's fine...I want you to become the pumpkin king, there's no reason for me to stand in the way of that." She said with a smile and kissed his lips gently. Just then the Librarian walked over and flicked Jack's ear. "NO PDA IN THE LIBRARY!" She screamed as she pulled them both out.

"Okay....ow ow ow ow" Jack said as he and Sally got dragged out of the library. "Well.....so much for that." he said with a slight bit of laughter looking at her then back towards the entrance.
