Jack and Sally are just teenagers going to HalloweenTown high, Jack is training to take over Halloween town, and Sally is being overly protected by Doctor Franken. But when Sally meets Jack at the student council meeting she falls in love with him.

Sally excitedly walked into the student council room and signed in as everyone else filled in. She sat down next to the witches Zelda and Carly and waved at Charles the two faced Clown. "I can't believe the Doctor let you go to school this year." Zelda said as they waited for the new student Council President to join them. "I know. He was worried I might get hurt, so I have to carry a thread and needle with me everywhere, just in case." Sally said with a laugh as Carly pulled out her note book to take notes on the meeting.

Jack meanwhile was rushing to make it to the student council meeting since he had seemed to completely forgotten all about it, holding onto all his papers he ran as fast as he could accidently bumping into everyone. "Oh..I'm sorry! Excuse me!" After a while he finally made it to the room standing there trying to catch his breath. "Sorry about being late everyone." Jack said as he cleared his throat and walked over to sit down in front of the table. "Whats new?" he hadnt noticed that Sally was sitting at the table as well since he was trying to get all his papers in order.

Sally's eyes widdened as she saw Jack. She had seen his helping get ready for Halloween next week. He was going to be the King of Halloween town. He was really nice and sweet to everyone. She just didn't know her name. "Yes, Mr. President. We have a new member. Sally Franken." Carly said raising her pen as she looked over at Sally. Sally blushed and looked down.

Jack got up and walked over to Sally, once he reached over to her, he tilted his head over wondering why she hid her face. "Hello there Sally. My name is Jack." he smiled not being able to see her face.

Sally slowly looked up and smiled. She raised her stitched up hand and waved. "H..hello Jack." She said brushing her red string hair behind her ears. She looked up at his Skeletal face and felt a blush rise around her cheek bones.

As Jack looked at her his eyes widen largely. She was so beautiful, he had felt strange inside and smiled nervously suddenly he thought about her last name. "Your name is Sally Franken?...so I'm guessing your one of his experiments?" he said looking at her, with a big smile on his face.

Sally nodded. "He calls me his daughter, not experiment." She added smiling a little. Her eyes were sparkling and she had forgotten about everyone else in the room. "Umm...Jack, we need to get back to the meeting, It's only fourteen more days until halloween." James, the Mayor of Halloween towns son said. "Thirteen." Greg, the werewolf, said sounding angry as always, since his voice was so deep.

Jack suddenly remembered about the meeting. "Oh I'm sorry! everyone I forgot." he said with a little nervous chuckle and walked back over to his seat and sat down. "Okay...how far have we gotten with the dercorations?" he asked looking down the table at everyone, but strangly paying much attention at Sally.

"Me and Sally were talking during lunch, and we were thinking about putting red food dye in the fountain on campus, and having a haunted house theme dance the night before. And she was going to ask Dr. Franken, if he could make us some talking pumkins for the path into the school and around town." Zelda said as Carly wrote it down. Sally nodded and looked up at Jack.

"Good...Good. How about the food?" He looked over to James and wonder what his father would do, since he was the mayor after all. "James...hows your father doing on getting the citizens to know about this? we need to have as many people as we can to go...rather then just the school." he asked him tilting his head.

"He sent out flyers.." He said as his face shifted to the white frown face. "But we haven't heard anything." He added looking down. "I'm sure our mom and make some snake and spider Stew, and some spider cupcakes." Carly said writing down everything.

"Hmm...we have to find a way to get people more excited about the dance." He pondered about the fact and looked over to Sally again. "Umm S-Sally? could you ask your father to make some kind of device that could help with that?" he asked her somewhat nervous just looking at her beauty. "mmmmm......those sound delicious...cant wait to try some." as he said closing his eyes and just imagining the taste.

"Umm..i could see, not sure what he could make, perhaps just a billboard that lights up to put up in town square." Sally said her mouth watering at the thought of Snake and Spider stew. "Why would we want the adults of Halloweentown coming to our dance?" Oogie Boogie asked as he snacked on a cricket.

"Hmm...knowing your father...I'm sure he'd make something a bit more crazier then that...I've got it! Sally could you ask him to make some kind of machine that shoots fireworks into the sky showing it?" Jack smiled happily seeing that she seemed to water as she heard about the food, to him it seemed a bit adorable and he blushed a bit inside. He looked over to Oogie and seemed a bit disturbed. "Oogie..dont you get it? we could possibly get them to buy the tickets..then the school's fund would increase dramatically, we could possibly get a new school." he said with a large grin on his face as usual.

"oooh, Exciting." Oogie said flicking the crickets wings out the window. Sally nodded and smiled. "Okay, he'd love that. Actually he was just talking about wanting to make fireworks, but he couldn't think of an idea." She said brightening up and letting a small giggle out. Zelda looked over at her with a raised eyebrow and she calmed down and bit her lip.

"So does anyone have anymore news to talk about before me end this meeting?" Oogie stood up and looked at Jack. "Hey Jack.....I got an idea for the dance..." he looked over at him in curiousity. "What is it?" he asked him having a bad feeling about it since Oogie's ideas were never very 'pleasent' as it would seem. "Your going to announce the queen and king of the dance right?....well why dont you make a surprise appearence when its time." Jack pondered that for a moment it sounded like a good idea but he couldnt think of how it would work. "Sounds cool but how?"

Sally looked at Oogie, she never really liked him, he creeped her out. "How about you come in wearing your dad's pumkin king outfit, you know with it on fire and everything." Oogie said with an odd glint in his eyes. Sally narrowed her eyes a little and looked from Jack to the Oogie. "I don't think that's a good idea." She said.

"Your kidding right?....my dad is the pumkin king himself...why in the world would I do that?" Jack asked Oogie and he shrugged his shoulders. "Well it would be a big surprise for everyone, right?" he started laughing, but no one else did. "Oogie...your out of the council." Jack pointed towards the door to tell him to get out. "What?! you cant kick me out!" Jack looked away from him as he started whine. "Greg." Greg nodded and went over and pushed him out of the room and locked the door behind him, beginning that day Oogie started to dispise Jack.

Sally watched the two argue then Greg threw Oogie out. She knew he'd try to get Jack back for that. She sighed and jumped as the bell rang to go home. She grabbed her back and headed towards the door, Excited to get home and tell Dr. franken about her day. She walked out side and out the school doors and headed towards her home out near the Graveyard.

As Jack left the school he wanted to go ask if Sally would go to the dance with him, but she ran out too quickly before he could get a chance to. So he decided to wait till tomorrow, he went to the graveyard as he normally did everyday to sit on the hill and watch the moon go down, he had just met Sally but he was already falling in love with her.

Sally sat in her room after dinner, Dr. Franken had agreed to work on the fireworks and the pumpkins, and he was working on those now along with his apprentice Igor. She looked over at the giant house across the way from hers. She didn't know who lived there, she rarely left the house, let alone talked to people. Sighing she climbed into bed, thinking of the council president Jack.

Jack had spent most of his time sitting on the spiral hill in the graveyard, looking at the night sky, as he always did. Through the entire time he was there all he could ever think about was the new member in the student council...Sally. "Guess I should be heading home now, I hope my dad isnt home..." he said to himself and began to walk home, as he walked home he passed Sally's house and just noticed his was right across from hers. He suddenly had a big smile on his face then started running home.

Sally woke up and got ready for school, when she went downstairs to eat, she was greeted by 13 talking pumpkins. "What do you think?" Her father asked wheeling in on his electric wheelchair. "Their..ummm...cool." She said touching one, which stuck it's tongue out at her. "But we didn't really need them until the 28th." She said with an awkward smile. "Oh, no matter, when do you need the fireworks? I'm going to work on those today." He said calmly. "I'll ask Jack." She said grabbing an apple. "Jack Skelengton? From next door?" Dr. Franken asked. "Yeeeas, He's the student council president." She said taking a bite. "Oh, make sure your sewings are tight, don't want you falling apart at school." He said wheeling over to her and checking all her sewings. "Dad, there fine. I tightened them when I woke up." She said shooing him away. She kissed him then ran out the door.
