Wandering downstairs Mei retrieved his breakfast, seeing no reason to switch to his female form as everyone knew the secret now. Neither man or woman and unable to live for long as either…Oh well, it was what it was. He now sat at the bar, ignoring the perplexed bartender’s stares at his chest. Chuckling a little he sipped his tea and munched on some toast, taking out from his pocket his mother’s diary once again. She had died from grief after Mei’s father’s death and had taken the secrets of what she was, and of the dragon, with her….Mei just hoped somewhere in here there was some clue…

she glanced at akio and said "I know" with a smile."i guess i keep looking at like something is going
to happen im not sure why but i have a strange feeling"Steven said kind of unsure

He tilted his head over to the side wondering what she thought could happen, at this point the only thing he thought that could happen was it tip over and fall, but even that shouldnt matter, since he told her that he was going to go help her find her brother along with trying to find Angil's brother. He turned to his frozen wings and thought if he didnt thaw them soon they would seriously cause problems, so he walked towards the door so he could go back to the hot springs. "I'll be back later...." he said as he opened the door and left.

Steven nodded as he left.steven's stomache felt uneasy.
its probably just nerves.she thought.she put her arm around her stomache
hoping it'll calm down

Jack awoke. That lack of noise wakening him...or rather...lack of the presance of another, lack of the sound of their breathing had awoken him. Jack sat up, rubbing his eyes a bit and then looking around. Mei was gone..but..he wouldn't have just left him..would he? With a shake of his head Jack stood, pulling his mask on and running a hand through his hair. He trusted Mei. So he would go downstairs and Mei would still be there. With a nod to himself Jack bounded from the room, racing towards the main area of the Inn to see if Mei was indeed there.

Akio walked towards the hot springs as he dragged his wings in the snow making a large path behind him. "I hope its still open....I really need to thaw these off." After a while of walking he had finally reached it, he immediatly got undressed and jumped into the waters. He was alone there, guessing everyone was back at the inn, it made it much easier for him to spread his wings without worrying too much of hitting someone with them.

Mei was nose deep in a few dairy entries, frustrated that his mother well… mainly they were entries about her kids and her husband…typical housewife stuff. Only a hint or two would ever surface of her past or anything… and it frustrated him to no end. Sighing he closed the book in frustration, glancing up to see Jack enter. He waved absently before glancing down at the book.

Jack grinned beneath the mask he wore when he saw Mei. He glanced around Inn for a moment to get an idea of who was where and how many people were around. That long tail swayed happily behind him as he bounded across the room and nearly pounced on Mei. Throwing his arms around Mei's neck and hugging him tightly. "Did you sleep well, aniki?" He nuzzled his cheek against Mei's and purred softly, though the purring stopped almost as soon as it started.

Steven got up and walked out of the inn and walked towards the snowman not realizing she only had her blue plaid jacket on and forgot her coat and scarf.Steven patted a little more snow onto the snowman."that looks better"she told herself

Mei blinked, starting lightly at the near pounce. He reached over with one arm, returning the hug though he shivered a little bit at it and the nuzzle. The purr… that was just so…so…cute! Mei couldn’t help but smile, though he was looking at the floor due to less ten brotherly thoughts he was currently squishing. He then looked up, smiling warmly and kissing Jack’s cheek before turning away to the dairy. “I slept well enough.” He said quietly, though it was a bit of a lie, “What about you?”

Jack was a little surprised at the kiss to his cheek. But that only made him purr again and a bit loudly for a few seconds before the purring stopped. He nuzzled Mei's cheek again and returned the kiss Mei had given him. Kissing Mei's cheek lightly, though his lips never actually touched Mei's cheek, the soft silky like cloth of his mask did and then Jack had jumped away a few steps. Grinning behind that mask. "Ne, aniki, what should we do today?"

Mei was already telling him he shouldn’t have done that when he had the kiss returned and the purring announced Jack’s comfort. Well… He supposed it was forgivable, family kissed each other on the cheek even if his thoughts were far from it at the time. Shaking off the thought he almost blushed….almost, just the tips of his ears briefly deepening in color before they were their pale selves again. As he asked the question Mei shrugged, blinking a little bit in thought.

“I dunno… the snow has us here so the only thing I thought to do was be a nosy bastard and read my mothers diary. We should probably get you some food first though…” Mei trailed off, shrugging a bit as he glanced at the diary. Of course…he wasn’t just being a nosy creature but he really didn’t see why he should tell Jack of his search just yet…

Steven picked up more snow and put it on the snowman with her bare hands.she had no gloves on because
her gloves were in her coat pocket.Steven was happy at the moment when putting more snow on the snowman
in different places.

Akio layed in the water letting his entire body stay underwater, so it looked as if no one was even in the room. After several minutes he poked his head out of the water then relaxed against a rock as every part of his body was feeling much more refreshed rather then when he stood in the cold.

"Aa." Was all he said to Mei's comment about being nosy. Then Jack had shrugged and waved a hand as if to dismiss the thought of food. "Iie. Not hungry." He was moving towards one of the windows and looking out it. He blinked. A snowman? When had that gotten there? Oh..there was a girl there too. "There's a snowman..I'ma go talk to it." He looked over his shoulder and grinned at Mei before he moved towards the door and then out it.

"Oi, kochou, you'll get frostbite doing that." Jack called to the girl that was putting snow on the snowman without gloves on her hands. His long legs carried him quickly to the girl and the snowman.

She stood up and Said "its alright i'll be fine"steven said putting more snow on the taller parts that we're hard to reach because she was short.she hummed as she kept putting more and more snow on the snowman.

Jack tilted his head to the side a bit. Those cat ears twitching and his tail wrapped around his waist. True, he was standing there shirtless with only little sleevelets to cover his fore arms and thin pants on..but the cold didn't bother him at all. "Are you sure, kochou?" There was a bit of concern in his voice and his cat like eyes.

She smiled at him and nodded "yep im sure"

Jack sat down in the snow. Watching her as she moved around the snowman, putting snow here and there on it. "...Aren't you cold, though?" His head tilted to the side as he asked the question, watching her curiously. His tail had uncurled from his waist and lay behind him on the snow, moving side to side and brushing the snow up a bit on both sides.

"no im use to the snow"Steven said smiling as she put more and more piles of snow on the snowman
"my brother and i use to make snowmen all the time when it was winter when i was younger"Steven said

"Aa. I see." Jack frowned a bit behind the mask he wore and shrugged lightly, running his hand over the snow a bit. "I was born in the middle of winter on a snowy night, so the cold has never bothered me." He looked at the snowman for a moment. "I've never built a snowman before. From your expression though, it seems quite fun." That frown had turned to a smile.

"really?i can't really remember when i was born or where"steven said."it is fun,my brother and i always made one whenever i got lost in the middle of winter he would put a stick in it with a flag that said my name on it so i would know how far it was to get back home"

Jack laid back in the snow, that tail curling around his waist so he didn't lay awkwardly on it. His eyes were on the sky. "That's nice. Whenever I got lost, I had to find my own way, there was never anyone around to help me or show me the right path...sometimes...sometimes I still feel like I'm lost." His hands were behind his head, his right foot flat on the snow covered ground, so that knee was bent at an angle while his left leg remained flat out on the ground. Really it was a comfy position to lay in. "...sometimes I feel like I'm falling and I can't stop. Tumbling this way and that and uncertain of the correct path I'm supposed to follow."

She looked at him and Said,"Me too i lost my brother durring the storm and i can't find him so without him i am very confuzed and don't know what to do.I wish i knew what the right thing to do is and how to do it sometimes.But someone is going to help me find him.makes me feel that i am not alone anymore".
She walked towards him and said,"we all fall down sometimes.Some more than others.but i know everything will be fine"Steven said smiling at him sitting on her knees,looking at him"

Mei had stayed at the bar a moment longer, finishing his tea and food before standing and pushing that essential diary in his pocket. Shaking his head a moment he walked out into the snow, brooding honestly until he saw jack. He’d almost forgotten he’d come out here, so distracted by the diary and his thoughts was Mei. Chuckling he walked towards the two, shaking his head. “You really shouldn’t bury yourself in the snow like that Aniki…one of these days I might not be able to find you…” he teased.
