Medi woke up to singing. He fallowed it down stares "Oh well Good Morning Rose-sama." he spoke with a chirp.

Bikky woke up with a note in his lap and smiled as he read it. Then getting up he locked the door and walked to the cafe'. Walking through the door he giggled "Morning you too." he smiled as he walked up stares to change.

"Morning Bikky...Where did you go?"

Bikky's smile grew "Lyna's"

Rose smiles at Medi"good morning Medi how well did you sleep last nite?". Rose then notices Bikki coming downstairs"good morning Bikki did you have fun at Lyna's?" her cat ears perk up"i'm really curious what happened?".

((that God for time ships lol you got to love them lol))

"Lyna, this is wonderful work. It must be the best you have done for me so far." Angel said as she looked at the paintting of her book cover.
"Yes well i had inspiration from a new friend." Lyna said as she chuckled remembering Bikky still asleep on her couch.
"Well, i hope you do just as good on the next one. Here is the list for how i picture it get done soon okay?" Angel handed her a check and another piece of paper with another list on it.
"Sure i will get right on it as soon as i get back from my vacation." Lyna said as she laughed a little and took her check and paper from Angel, waving bye as she left.

" Slept pretty good how about you?" Medi asked back at her

Bikky laughed "We just talked as she was finishing her art work."

Rose smiles"I almost overslept good thing my alarm was set". She grins at Medi and looks over at Bikki"your such a ladys man".. She looks at them both"would you like some coffee?."

Lyna shoved the paper into her pocket, as she heftted up the other two paintings and began to walk to her next distination. The Law office loomed before her as she drew closer to it, it wasn't a place she cared to be at but she had buisness there no the less. She stopped and stared up at it for a few moments before pressing on.

Both men nodded as bikky spoke "oh and medis not."

"Of coures i'm not."

Rose laughs and their small fight then heads downstairs to prepare for work.

A webbed hand rummaged through its' surroundings, guided by a somewhat sleepy Derufino. The arm connected with a sharp -thud!- before it withdrew in her shell.
This is how the Nautilis slept. Her "hair" jutted out from the opening, occasionally wriggling. The shell was moist and retained water, which saved on the use of a bed. The moisture was enough to dampen the insides, but not enough to spill on the floor.
As she crept out, she began to stretch. Her days began like this.
Soaking in water, bathing, dressing, then breakfast. Her choice of clothing was another plain chef's smock, and some dress slack pants. Working shoes would prove more beneficial to her. A slight spray of musk was applied after a final glance in the mirror.
Breakfast was leftovers from a Chinese take-out store not too far from her apartment. She was quite amazed at how they could put such flavoring into it! And as much as she would love to, she would probably never know what it was that they added.
Preferring to travel with car, Deru hopped into the car she would ride to work everyday. Her austere gaze was painted onto her face. Today was the day she'd change the menu, and she wanted it to look nice. Feet shuffled into the cafe, in search of the owners.

Lyna entered the Law office and waitted in the lobby to be called into the head's office.

Bikky came downstairs and he smiled at Derufino "Ah Good Morning Derufino-sama how are you? oh and I did look over that menu very nice I must say."

"Miss. Lunair, the president will see you now." the assistant said as she pointted to a door. Lyna stood up an d walked into it.
"Ah, Miss. Lunair, you have the painting?" he said as he held out the check.
"Yes, it is right here." Lyna said as she set his paintting on the desk and grabbed the check from his hands.
"It is exceptional. I will call you again if we need another one done. Your dismissed." he said as he waved her out the office and picked the phone up to make a call. She left quickly hopping that they wouldn't call on her again.

"I am well, and thank you," she replied to Bikky, subtle hints of clicking in her voice. "May I go ahead and take care of the prep work for today?"Heh, well look at that. A vast improvement. Inwardly, she could feel a smile bubble up. Hopefully today would prove to be a day for good progress. A slow start, though, as it was a new cafe. Hmm....where's the PR specialist when you need 'em? "Or, what I could do is fashion out the whole menu for the staff to try. This way, when others ask what to recommend, they can have some kind of opinion to offer." She wasn't going to bother bogging him down with culinary vernacular, especially considering he didn't seem to be familiar with it.

Rose walks in the kitchen and says hi to Derufino, then she grabs her apron and puts it on. She hopes jeans are acceptable for today since the cafe was small she was sure noone would mind."Derufino do you need dishes done?" Rose chimes happily at her.

Bikky smiled "Thats fine and is most likely a good idea."

Medi nodded "sounds fun."

Lyna looked at the cafe' and smiled, she would have gone in right then but she had one more paintting to drop off before her vacation can begin. She stepped onto the bus, and waitted for her stop in the upper section of the city.

Rose grabs a red bucket and puts water and bleach in it and grabs a rag on her way out of the kitchen and decides to wipe the tables down before anyone else arrives since Derufino doesn't seem to need help in the kitchen.

She walked into the resturant and left the painting with the cashier behind the counter while taking her check with her on the way out, she sighed heavily as she walked over to the bank and depositted the money. She then caught the bus back to down town so she could go into the Cafe' and see Bikky.

Derufino nodded. Her eyes bobbed over to Rose, shaking her head. "You won't be needing to clean up my messes. I clean as I cook."
The apron flew off a hook and around her waist. Oh, yeah. Now today would be game day. The rest of the staff, as far as cooking was concerned, was dubbed incompetent. If she started teaching now, she'd fall behind on the orders that would be coming in. Maybe later, as she didn't mind bestowing her knowledge. She was being paid, after all.
The Nautilis began gathering dough, shaping it for the sample menu. With the oven pre-heated, it wouldn't be too long for the baked goods would be ready. They were being proofed in the meantime.
Next, Derufino took out the veggies from the refrigerator. It surprised her just how fresh and crisp they were, including the spices. She cut and minced, sliced and diced. Meats followed the same treatment after being thawed out. Some of the three groups met together in marinades.

Rose finishes cleaning the tables off and heads back to the kitchen. She watches Derufino slice up the vegetables like its nothing, and her ears perk up. she wonders how Derufino does it so well when she would cut her finger, and continues on to empty the bucket in the sink.

Bikky walked around looking and seeing for ever thing was in place.

Medi started to wipe off his work area and got ready for his first order of coffee...just in case he got one.

Rose sighs and wishes she had some coffee, she should have made some before she left but forgot because she thought she was gonna be late. no customers had come in but she wish they would maybe there would be a lunch rush today, her ears lower as she forgot the cafes brand new and probably won't have a lunch rush.

Rose turns and faces Medi then blushes and smiles really wide exposing her kitty fangs"its fine your the first to call me that without being mean.

Medi laughed "Okay then."

Bikky looked around agein then spoke "Okay who's ready for me to open the cafe?"
