Balthazar had his back turned towards her, his tattoo previlant, "Were meeting him down stairs in the lobby, he'll be in the room next to us." he said sliding on a tight forming shit. He rummaged through his stuff, looking at his finger he noticed hed left the ring on the sink. With out even looking at her he walked past bekki, reaching for his ring, then as he passed her again he sliped it on to his ring finger. "You arnt even a real werewolf? " he said as he passed her noticing her shoulder.

"I dated a werewolf, and I almost died and his grandfather had to change me so I'd live...But I'm just as strong as a full blood, I've trained just as hard so don't even think I can't handle myself." She said pulling a sweater on and covering her tattoo. She watching as he slipped the ring on his finger and looked down at her own. Sighing and blinking back a tear she walked over to her back and pulled on her shoes. "Well, then lets go, while were down there think we can talk to the hotel owners about getting another bed in here?" She asked glaring at the small bed.

Balthazar was stunned by her words, a single tear ran down his eyes, as he realized who she was, "dont worry about the bed im transfering tonight. you can have the bed and someone else will train you about the job." he said not turning around. he knew he couldnt let her know who he really was, it would kill him to have to really face her again. "Your story seems like an interesting one, tell me more, we arent due downstairs for a few hours." he knew it was bekki, but he had to be sure.

"Well...okay...He was hired to be my body guard because I used to work for a really big jerk of a vampire...but we ended up falling in love, only I never told him about my heart condition, Then after I almost got killed by this chick who hated me because she was dating the vampire I used to date, the vampire got pissed and sent Balthazar away, that was his name Balthazar..Ray..." Bekki stopped in the middle of her sentence and looked up from where she was looking. "Ray? Balthazar?" She asked walking over to him. How could she not have realized it, that was why when she looked at him her heart seemed to beat ten times faster. "Why did you shave your head?" She asked placing a hand on his cheek.

Balthazar listened as she spoke, fiddling around with his ring. Balthazar turned around as she spoke, smiling as she realized who he was. "Hi bekki," he said, "I could ask the same thing with your blue hair" he said. as he put his hand on her cheek also, we need to focus on the job, i left i know i did, but i killed out baby. i did" he said a tear falling down his check.

"No you didn't, the doctors said that it was from me falling down the stairs..I tripped, I'm a clutz..you know that. Hello, smart one who ran from a wolf and hit her head on a tree?" She said pointing at herself as she wiped his tear away. "Please don't transfer..I..I've missed you." She said as a few strands of her blue hair fell in her face. "I don't really remember why I dyed it..I think I dyed it about two months after you left." She said looking down at her feet. She was right, she now reached his chin, eye level with his lips.

"Dont, bekki, just dont." he said looking at her, "It is my fault, and i could never forgive myself for that. At least youve grown into one hell of a wolf, but i dont know if im ready to face you yet, ive spent all this time trying to get enough guts to face you, and i cant not yet. Im sure the other wolf will be just as good as me. I just... I just cant do this... me and you right now. " he finished then turned around putting his hands on the foot of the bed. "Ive spent so long looking at this ring, me and you. i just cant have that though. i cant look at you with out feeling guilty for it all, for ever even hurting you, i dont know how to live myself. Half these scars are from random fights i picked because it dulled the pain.. i just." he said closing his eyes.

Bekki watched him as he walked over to the bed and placed his hands on it. "After you left...I tried killing myself, a think about three times, if not for Vojo, and this ring, I wouldn't be here right now. Even when things got to hard to handle, I'd look at this ring, or at the picture of you I snapped when you were asleep when we were in Germany, and I'd smile...I still love you, and the only way you could ever hurt me, is by leaving right now." She said as she walked behind him and wrapped her arms around him from behind and rested her head on his back. "Please..." She whispered as she gently traced his Tattoo.

"The first thing you have to know is relationships are not tollerated during a mission, they present a weakness that cannot be shown." he said still not looking at her. He still wouldnt let her back into his head no matter what she said. He had done alot in the time he had been away from her that he hadnt been proud of, from killing murders to innocent people which he knew she would hate. "Bekki, i dont know what will happen after this mission but im not going back, and you have to." he said somberly.

Bekki closed her eyes, breathing in his familiar scent. He was locking his mind away from her, clearly there were things he didn't want her to know. "I..I understand." She said weakly. She let go of him and stepped away, her eyes were prickling, and her throat felt clogged, she knew she was about to cry. Taking a deep breath she walked into the bathroom and closed the door, she looked at herself in the mirror, she didn't even recognize herself. She jumped onto the counter and pulled her knees up to her chest and cried. She hadn't allowed herself to cry in awhile, no matter how hurt she got, or how depressed she felt, she held back the tears, now all the tears she had kept locked away for so long were escaping.

Balthazar heard her go into the bathrrom and sighed, he hadnt realized he had been holding his breath for a while there. He felt like he should run, just leaving with out a trace, maling himself invisible again. He walked over to the bathroom wanting to say some thing when he heard her crying, instead he just put his hand on the door, his ring making noise as it hit the door. Sighing he turned away and walked towards teh balcony door, he pushed it open. They were on teh top floor of and only castle hotel, he walked out onto the balchony looking around, finally deciding he needed to get out of the room atleast. he left the window open, as he took two leaps to reach the top, he sat tehre thinking on top f a gargoyle, thinking about the past and what had happened since.

Wiping her eyes Bekki heard his ring as it hit the doorknob. Sighing she jumped down and opened the door but found him gone from the room. The balcony doors were opened so she stepped out to it, still wiping a few stray tears away and looked out at the city below. She realized quickly that he had left...again. Sighing she climbed up to the railing and perched herself on the rails looking down at the city. Closing her eyes she let out a breath and thought about letting go, her mind flashed back to the last conversation she had had with VoJo before she had left:

"You know, just because it feels like you've lost everything..there's something that no one can take away from you." He whispered as she sat curled up on the bed. She had just tried to kill herself the last time and was being kept locked in her room on 24 hour watch. "Oh yeah? What's that old man?"
"Your life silly girl, the only thing that really matters, not what you have, or own in this world, people day, things fade and get lost...but no matter how bad things get, you always have your life to look back at and say, 'Well damn, I might just have something worth living for."

Balthazar knew she was now out here with out even looking down, "Its one hell of a city, I even used to live for a few years in a castle just outside." he said staring out into the city, "Hes one hell of an old man isnt he?" he said looking off into the city. Then with out a nother word he jumped off his perch and landed just behind her, "I do still love you though." and walked back into the room.

Sighing Bekki jumped down from the ledge and walked into the hotel room. "I'm going to go down to the Lobby and wait." She said taking the ring off her necklace and putting it on her hand, she always did this when ever she was nervous, a sort of habit she couldn't quite stop herself from doing, she'd take it off her necklace and put it on her ring finger, she didn't know why but this normally calmed her down. She patted Balthazar on the back and opened the door and walked out. Sighing she slumped against the wall letting her hair fall, covering her face. This was going to be hard, three whole months with him...and he didn't even seem to want her back...But she had to do, she had to prove to herself that she could handle this job, wither Balthazar distracted her to much was a completely different problem she just didn't know if she could handle it. Sighing she played with her ring, she pulled a picture out of her pocket, VoJo had sneaked it and taken it when during her transformation, She looked peaceful, almost dead laying on the bed, and Balthazar lay next to her, holding her close and looking troubled but was deep asleep. Smiling she ran a finger along the picture, it had bend marks all over it and was crumbled and looked older then it really was. She sighed and wished things could go back to normal...as normal as things ever had been.

Balthazar felt her hand on his back and he almost turned around to grab it to hold her close. -how am i going to handle this?- he thought, -I want to hold her close again, i want us. i want the family, i want her to be my wife.- he looked down at the ring he wore, pulling out his wallet he stared at a picture of bekki, from he first day at training with vojo. She looked so different now, she had changed and she was different, and only he was to blame for that difference.

Sighing Bekki heard his thoughts and closed her eyes. "I want that to Balthazar." She whispered as she stood up. She stuffed the picture back in her pocket and opened the bedroom door. "Lets go big guy, we got a job to do." She said with an emotionless face, gone was a light that used to shine behind her eyes, or the smile that always seemed to brighten her face wither she was crying or yelling. She stood there watching him, her heart silently breaking. She wished she could run to him, wrap her arms around him and tell him she loved him again, just like before. Sighing she turned around and leaned against the door frame waiting for him to follow. "You know...it was hard...but I stayed faithful...I even had to beat Rose's ass when she asked me why I still acted like we were together..." She said, her voice almost a whisper.

Balthazar looked at her, she was different 100 percent different, and he didnt know if he liked it. "You did what?!?" he said as he walked up to her, "She had nothing to do with this, thats like if i had gone and beaten up johna the first time he looked at you." he said angerily. "Why would you do that?" he asked as he turned away from her to get ready, sliding on the coat that he wore on the first day he ever saw her, slipping a gun in his holster. he had changed since she last saw him, he now used weapons and he tended to use what ever he needed not just his strength.

"She asked for it. She always had something smart to say...Since when do you pack heat?" She asked turning around and seeing the gun in his holster. She hated guns, mostly due to the fact that she had been face first to the barrel of a shot gun less then a year ago. Sighing she shook her head and headed out of the room and stood by the elevator. He'd changed so much...but he's still the man I loved..love..maybe... She thought sadly as she stood with her fist clinched as she waited for the elevator to reach the floor.

He followed her out of the room locking it as he exited, "I started packing heat after a fight with another were." he said running his hand over a few of his scars. He walked up standing beside her as he waited for the elevator, as it dinged he stepped inside watching her do the same, as the doors closed he looked at her, "Are you still in there?" he asked looking her up and down.

Bekki blinked a bit unsure of how to answer. She had trained to hide her true self from others, it was a weakness that could easily be used to defeat her. "I.i..I don't really know...I've had to hide myself for so long that...I'm not sure I remember how I used to be...I haven't really smiled in months." She said slowly, weighing her words. She sighed and blew a puff of her blue hair out of her face.

Balthazar faced forward looking at the numbers, they were almost at the lobby. "Hmm ok.... " he said looking at her before he finally said what he had been thinking, "I was just wondering if the women i loved and fell in love with was still in there." he said just as the doors opened and he stepped into the lobby.

Bekki looked at him shocked...But he made her think. What had she given up in order to be the person she was now? She sighed and stepped into the Lobby also. She instantly knew who the vampire they were protecting was, since he gave off no brain waves at all. She walked up to the tall man, who had long blond hair and a crooked nose. "Marshall Mathers?" She asked tapping his shoulder. "Bekki Stone? Balthazar Ray?" He asked in a cold voice. Bekki nodded and the man stepped to the side, reveling a young boy about twelve. "This is Marshall, I'll be leaving now." The man said then left. Bekki looked at the man as he walked away then looked at the young boy. He had a face that belonged on sculptures and light blond hair and piercing blue eyes. He was dressed smartly in a silver suit with black stitched lapels. She looked up at Balthazar confused as to why a young boy would need protection. "Your how old?" She asked looking back at the boy. "I'm 355 next month." The young boy said in a voice clearly weighed with age.

Balthazar was dead silent the whole time he rarely talked when he had a client, he looked at the larger man who came up to his height inclining his head before looking down at marshall. Balthazar bowed slightly as the man walkedaway leaving marshall with them, looking at bekki with a stern look. In his opinion she was getting tofamiliar with the client even now, but then again she did things differently, he was only there to make sure it went ok, and to report back in the end about bekki.

Bekki nodded and looked at the kids luggage. "Would you like me to get one of the bellhops to carry your stuff up to your room? You must be tired." She said in a gentle voice, she was used to being around kids, and she felt like this...person would like to be talked to as much. "Finally someone who treats me like a child and not an old man, but no..I'm not tired..in face...I saw a Fair around the corner as we drove up...could we go please?" Marshall asked smiling. She looked at Balthazar, he was suppose to be the main decision maker.

Balthazar stayed silent it had been how he was taught to be and so he stayed that way, when the kid mentioned the fair he grimiced though bekki looked at him for an awnser. -This i will leave up to you this mission will be yours... but think for a second he's wearing a very expensive suit, we look like bikers. who will believe us at all?- he thought to her. Then he looked at marshall again standing with crossed arms.
