Miranda slashes at Axels tail in an attempt to get him to drop her"let me go!".she looks into Axels dragons form and stiffens up from the sight him, and hopes to live through this. |

((WHew! This is intense! More than two people fighting is hard to keep up with! :lol:))
Vin'dehl hissed in frustration as he saw Miranda tackle his sister, and was about to send an arrow her way when Axel lunged foward to take care of it. Instead of fighting, the elf slung his bow over one shoulder and sprinted over to Lyna and Inno. Inno pushed his hands away from her, grumbling about taking care of herself. Pressing a hand to Lyna's head, the elf frowned, and carefully lifted her into his arms. If he couldn't fight, he'd do something useful. Inno glanced at him dismissively, turning to look at Gabriel as he fought against Dante. Her purple eyes were wide as she watched, and she drew her blade again, eager to help the knight. "Pray I don't die," she muttered over her shoulder, dashing toward Dante from the side. - Another snarl of rage left Dante's lips, and he slammed his tail down on Gabriel as he found he couldn't crush him with his claws. A bit of blood trailed from his wound, but he ignored it. "Just die already!" the gold dragon hissed, focused completely on the glowing knight. He didn't see the elf running at him from the right, leaping into the air gracefully and landing on his back. When he felt her meager weight, Dante reared up a bit, hissing. "Leave us be!" Inno shouted, digging her blade into the dragon's thick shoulder. Dante shrugged her off, causing himself to lose balance when Inno lashed at him again. Roughly falling onto his back, the dragon snarled. Heading over to stand near Gabriel, Inno smiled wearily. "Let's kick his butt," she said tensely, watching the dragon. |
-Gabriel was about to be flattened by the monster's deadly tail but was repelled by Inno his love.- "Good timing and lets my dear." -Gabriel dashed forward to the beast running along its belly as he was on his back (if I read that right) dragging his blade along behind him cutting lightly into the soft unscaled tissue to his chest just a bout at the base of his neck then turned around satisfied with that. Gabriel then swept cutting into the flesh horizontally intersecting just above the middle of the vertical line he just made forming a cross. He then turned again jumping down from Dante and finds his shield reforming it and then bashes the dragon's face from side to side and slashing until it gave up as Inno also came to attack- "Becareful Inno."

Inno let out a breathless laugh, shaking her head. "I think I'll let you do it. My job is done already." She let the tip of her blade dip as she took a step back. - Dante hissed in pain, closing his eyes as he jerked his head away from Gabriel. He hurts more than he should. Perhaps I am far weaker than before. . . . The dragon rolled, forcing himself into the air. A few drops of blood sprayed onto the ground below him, and Dante then glanced about for Miranda. Things weren't going as he'd hoped. Lunging at Axel and Miranda, Dante flapped his wings moodily. It was time to grab his only ally and get out of there. They weren't faring too well. |
-Gabriel flew through the air and slowed his descent or attempted to by spinning with both the sword and shield until he met the ground on his knees this time from the blood loss. He got up quickly prepared to go another round if need be. But as he turned around he saw Dante retreating to his surprise and relief. However, Gabriel knew this could be a trick so he didn't let his guard down and wouldn't begin to think of it until the dragon and vampire were far far from sight. His body was aching tremendously and begging to rest as Gabriel made his way to Inno standing firm as he could watching cautiously-"Do you think he's given up for real? Had you not come when you did... -He stopped there looking back to the dragon.-

"I think he's going to back off for a while," Inno replied, moving to place a weary hand on Gabriel's shoulder. "And he's taking his new friend with him." The elf couldn't help but lean against the armored man slightly, letting out a tired breath. "And your welcome." Inno smiled slightly, forcing herself to stand. Looking to where her brother knelt beside Lyna a ways off, she waved to him, receiving a small wave back.
"I think we're going to be alright," the blonde woman whispered, sheathing her blade and running a hand through her tangled hair. "Though that stream is starting to look like heaven." Her purple eyes narrowed as she looked to the water, and with a final glance to where Dante had been, the elf slowly started walking toward the stream until she was ankle-deep in it. Flopping down on the embankment, she dipped her dirty hands in the water, scrubbing them before lifting some water to her lips. "Mmmm," she hummed in contentment, wiping her face. It was fresh and cold - just right. - Vin'dehl cringed as Dante roared, lunging for Axel and Miranda. His gaze moved across the area as he looked for Sapphira, and he instantly then looked to Lyna. "Lyna?" he whispered, running a hand over her cheek worriedly. "Are you alright?" The elf watched the girl that he had half-cradled in his arms, concern written across his face. Ignoring the locks of blond hair that the wind tossed into his face, Vin'dehl frowned. "Lyna?" ((Aaand Dante is still "headed" for Miranda and Axel - he's gonna take the vampy. :yes: If everyone agrees, of course. If not, I can always just have him leave without her. :lol:)) |

-Gabriel leaned against Inno for a moment taking pained breath and let the holy energy sink back within him, the armor, shield, and sword all vanishing. He groaned and examined his body and shoulder where he'd been stabbed ironically with his own sword by a vampire- "Gonna have to figure out how a vampire was able to withstand so much Holy energy and even take my own sword and use it against me."-He made his way to the stream slowly taking off his bracers and other solid armor, and boots and sat next to Inno on the embankment leaning gently against her. His feet side by side hers. He was dreadfully close to passing out then and there-"We won. Praise the Lord of All Creation."-Gabe unlatched his canteen from his belt and opened it to drink, slowly the wounds he endured began to heal faster and then offered it to Inno- |
The elf watched Gabriel shirk his armor, and steadied him when he leaned against her. Inno took the canteen, smiling her thanks. After sipping at it, she handed it back. "Don't die on me!" she whispered, nudging the man with her elbow. She saw how tired he was, and smiled at him before wrapping an arm about his waist. "The hero doesn't always have to die in the end, you know?"
The elf's lavender eyes moved to Gabriel's face, and she reached up to gently brush a bit of hair out of his face. ((Heeeey! I like what you did with your avi! Match the thread, I see! *laugh*)) |

Axel dropped the girl and jumped out of the way of Dante. He hissed in pain as he stood grading Lyna and Vin'dehl. (sorry for the one liner ^^) |

She could hear someone calling to her but she couldn't place the voice, so many things were calling her name but she didn't know where to go. Her eyes were still void of all colors, she was still limp as a rag doll, the only sgin that she was alive was that her eyes blinked once in a while. She felt as if she were floating in an empty space, light on one side, darkness on the other, she well she was floating with in the middle where they both met creating a greyness. She could see two figures one on either side of her, both calling to her, the voice that sounded so familur didn't have a body, it was comming from some other source. She wantted to go to to find out who it belonged to but she didn't know where to go. As she was trying to sort this out she started to cry, they weren't normal tears anyways they were pink tears, if some could place it she was crying blood and water, her eyes started to turn pink where ever the mixture touched them at. ((ugh!!!!! that is all i cna think of for now sorry )) |
Sapphira stood and shook herself off. ...wow...that Gold was a lot stronger than we give credit... She thought as she pulled her foot out of a thick tree. She looked around with agitation, seeing if she could still be of any assistance. She saw the Gold retreating with the vampire. ....good.. at least my inexperience didn't cause a loss... She turned to the group below her. She spoke in a lilting grumble. "Are you all okay?" She asked in a voice that couldn't hide her sadness at being useless and her friends injured. She lowered her head and changed into her humanoid form. ....revealing my form is worth helping others...but not when i can't even help them... She thought depressedly to herself. She walked up to the group with an almost invisible sag in her stance. "Is anyone in-" She looked at them. "I can heal. One at a time." She stood waiting for who ever would let her help them to come forward or ask.

Vin'dehl watched Lyna with worry written over his face. "Lyna, wake up!" Wiping a bloody tear from the girl's cheek, the elf leaned down and rested his forehead against hers. He silently prayed that she was alright, that she would be alright. "Please be alright." He heard Axel land behind them, but his gaze remained on the girl in his arms. When he heard Sapphira's voice, he looked up at her, relieved that she was alright. "Can you help her?" the elf asked, glancing down to Lyna. He had questions . . . but they would wait. His friend's health was far more important than his curiousity. "She's in some sort of trance. I can't get her to respond." - Dante snagged Miranda off of the ground, cradling her to him in one claw. Letting out a furious cry that sounded half human, the gold dragon swooped down, letting out a final burst of flame at Axel before soaring upwards, wheeling away from the group. They won . . . this time. When they were far enough away, Dante dove toward the trees, shielding Miranda from being whipped by the branches as they landed firmly on the ground. Shifting forms, the male stood as a human once again, his large golden wings still visable, as well as the scales that bordered his face and hands. His red eyes blazed, and he bore his fangs in rage. The tall man set the vampire on her feet, his hand moving to the chainmail armor that covered his chest. A bit of blood coated the links, and it made the dragon hiss. Dante was enraged that the human and two dragons had chased him off. Not to mention. . . . Dante reached up and yanked an arrow out of his shoulder, and then the one out of his thigh. Hissing in pain and fury, he went about removing the arrows from his form before moving to the nearest tree. Leaning against it, Dante yanked the ragged cloak away from his shoulders, unclasping it and letting it fall to the ground. After a few moments he was able to pull the chain-linked armor over his head, setting it beside him before fingering the cross-shaped gash in the black fabric of his shirt. "Damn," he muttered, yanking the sullied shirt over his head as well, regarding the wound that Gabriel had given him with disdain. A few wounds were scattered over his form - from Vin'deh's arrows, from Gabriel's blade, from Sapphira's tail and Axel's claws . . . on a normal human, he would have looked like he was about to die. Luckily, that wasn't the case. Applying pressure to one of the deeper arrow wounds on his shoulder, Dante glared in the direction of the group. They will pay for this. How a rag-tag group of strangers was able to wound him, Dante didn't want to think about it. It merely made him angry. A low growl built in his chest as he went about licking the wounds clean. Curse the ones he couldn't reach. |
-Gabriel breathed shallowly feeling his wounds heal but the fact they were so severe yet he live troubled him some and he gave praises to God under his breath leaning against Inno- "It'd take more than this to kill me." He joked half smiling. He was barely aware of Sapphira's addressing the group him included. Gabriel could feel his live blood seeping from his wounds become less and less as they healed. His eyes wondered from the group to the reflection of both He and Inno his cheeks blushed as he saw the way she looked at him. Gabriel tilted his head up to Inno and lightly kissed her on the lips running his hand closest to her along he back and wrapping the arm around her...-

A dark blush crept over Inno's sharply featured face, and she swiftly let her purple eyes move to the water before them. She was silent for a few moments as he rubbed her back, thinking it seemed. Nodding to herself, the elf let a smile flit across her face and then scooted a bit closer to him, bumping her head against his gently. I'm taller than him, she thought with a smile, fiddling with the edge of her tunic.
Softly pressing her lips to his temple, the elf chuckled quietly. Her free hand made it's way to wrap around Gabriel as she hugged him. Inno rested her cheek against his head, sighing. "Some of us still worry," she whispered, her purple eyes lingering on their reflection. |
-Gabriel nodded softly looking back to their reflection smiling-"I know and I'm blessed it seems that I have someone to worry for me."-He leaned against her more as she got closer to him also and he rested in place watching the water ripple. He didn't want to get up from there not at this moment but knew they needed to check on the others especially Lynna and Axel.-"I hope me being shorter than you isn't a problem." -Gabriel blushed softly bowing his head to Inno-"I hate to say this but maybe we should check on the others?"-He groaned softly looking back to them noticing Lynna not being responsive. This concerned him and he realized they never got to perform the baptism-"Vin Del bring Lynna here she needs to be purged and healed by the river!"-Gabriel's free hand then found the canteen of Holy Water and placed it back in it's spot on his belt waiting for Vin to bring Lynna-

Inno laughed quietly, and then agreed. The others need help now. The elf stood slowly, stretching with a grimace. She could ignore what was left of her wounds. Looking to her brother, she narrowed her eyes.
"Come on, Vin'dehl. Bring Lyna here." Vin'dehl hesitated, swallowing. "Will it hurt her?" he asked, his gray eyes full of wariness. Gently giving the girl a squeeze, the elf stood, still holding Lyna. Glancing to Sapphira and Axel, he took a step back. "I don't want her to be harmed any more than she is." |

"If she's not purified I fear she will become a vampire. We were headed here to do so and just as we arrived the vampire and dragon attacked us. " -Gabriel said answering Vin' Del softly and getting up with Inno. Groaning softly and gritting his teeth in pain.-

Sapphira grimaced. "Allow my thought... I saw what happened the last time you attempted that. Perhaps if Axel or i weren't in human form and held her. She wouldn't have as much of the amount of resistance." She moved close to Vin'dehl, Lyna, and the others. "See..." She let her hands glow light blue. She traced Lyna's body with the receptive energies. "Gabriel. I do believe the best way to handle this would be.....much like a .....um..'forced baptism'? Yes?" She pulled her hands back to mime the action of dunking the head and upper body under water with her arms showing the effort it would take to move a thrashing person. ....i just hope she is healed soon... She glanced pitifully at Vin'dehl to her side. ....I have several new Good friends...i can show i won't fail them twice....

(looks like I missed alot geesh,that was an intense fight)
Miranda wobbles and almost falls over form loss of blood,the thoughts in her head were racing, And her red eyes looked up at Dante in hopes he was ok.She lets out a small groan because her wounds were so bad"Dante a-are you alright?"she whispers lightly and hopes he can hear here. Her breathing was shallow and she feel on the soft grass and almost passed out. |
