((I am half deaf so i don't think being blind will be that bad))
"I heared the fighting......but i did not know that was you." she whispered to him as her head dropped, her silver hair hidding her face from view. "We were attack by a dragon and a vampire. I grew up around here so i brought everyone to this safe place." she said to him as she moved closer so that she could hear him better. She reach a gentle hand out to him, trying to find where he was at, instead of landing on his arm, it landed softly on the side of his face. She blushed and pulled her hand away quickly, she bowed her head until her face was hidden from view again. She held her hand close to her chest, it felt as if he had strong facial features, it was just.....felt shocking to her is all. |
"I see," Cain replied, listening to Lyna's voice. When her hand touched his face, he froze, unmoving and tense. She withdrew quickly, and an awkward silence passed between the two of them momentarily. Fighting the blush to stay off of his face, the Fae cleared his throat. "Why did you . . ." he trailed off, frowning slightly. He tried again, his deep voice growing a bit more quiet as it echoed. "Why did you reach out for me?"
|
"I......well I......sorry." she couldn't seem to be able to bring her self to tell him about her slight problem. She turnned her head away as if that would solve everything but it didn't, she had started to cry again, staying silent as she did so. "It is hard for me to explain." she whispered softly, trying to keep the sound of her tears out of her voice, she had a feeling that she was being watched closely so she was trying hard to keep it from them still. "So um.....what are you doing so far out here?" she asked him as she tried to change the subject to something less raw.
|
Cain stayed silent as Lyna started to cry silently, merely staying still. When she asked about him being so far from civilization, the Fae let his features fall into a frown. "I don't do well among humans," he said brusquely, trying to shake off the last bit of anesthetic . . . sadly, he wasn't able to. It was like trying to wipe water off of your arm with a wet hand.
As the world tilted again, Cain closed his eyes, leaning back against the tree again. "I've dwelled here for years. The large willow is my home." Thinking of the area near the water, the broad-shouldered man took a deep breath. "I enjoy being alone." |
"Oh um....we didn't mean to intrude on your home. It is just i have always come to this glade since i came upon it when i was little. I don't see why we can't just let you go since we were the ones intruding and not you. You just seem to be protecting your self and your territory like most animals do." she said to him softly in an understanding tone, she had watched animals alot and knew when they were just protecting them self or thier home, it was just the natrual order of things and she saw nothing wrong with it. She didn't have a say in wither or not they could let him go, and not only that she couldn't see to un-do the ropes that were bounding him. She sighed heavily and hugged her knees even more to her chest, not moving very much.

-Gabriel listened then spoke being slow to speak concerning a tense feeling in his gut from the trouble he sensed. It caused him to hit his knees and his normally cheerful heart to fill with dread. "Friends, I think it is best we either get moving, let this individual go back about his business so long as he vows a binding oath to not attack us again, or stand our ground here. I sense trouble coming soon." -Gabriel's face and body began glowing as manifesting holy energy radiated from within him. Then spoke a voice that was not Gabriel's but came from his mouth. Gabriel himself was in a trans-like state "You must stand strong in the coming time of hardship... it will stretch newfound bonds of fellowship, even to the point of breaking... But fear not, the Lord of Hosts shall strengthen your hearts for the coming hour." -The voice said with reassurance and authority- "Lay down and cast down any barriers between you that exist or you will fall. Thwart the Gold Dragon and his companion or the coming age will be in great peril."
After the last word the light vanished and Gabriel was left there kneeling and unaware of what just took place- "So what do y'all say?" -He asked getting up to his feet as though nothing had happened blinking at every one- |

Sapphira nodded to Vin'dehl. "I agree, with that we are the transgressors here and he shoulld be let free." She rubbed her temples once before standing again. As she stood, Gabriel had a moment that caught her off guard. She stumbled a little as she stood. ...hnnn....that was weird, but i feel stronger inside.... She walked over to Gabriel's side. "You can count me in-" She placed a hand gently on his shoulder and walked past him to kneel next to Cain. "Well...Cain...I am Sapphira. If what you say is true...about this being your home...I apologize for our intrusion, but we are leaving today for the nearby town and should not have need to be back." She fidgeted slightly, then regained confidence. "If you swear to leave us be from now on...No fighting, ambushing, or harmful interference..I will untie the bindings...I do also apologize for this-" She motioned to his being tied up. "I was merely ensuring my...........companion's...safety. Do you agree to the terms?, so I may release you..." She asked him with a determined but weary sigh. |

(( Thanks Ameika.))
Dante glanced at Miranda, a slight smile on his face. "It takes nothing but deception to separate them." The dragon shifted his wings once again, reaching over to finger a few locks of the vampire's outspread hair. "Rage and anger will fuel them." He then turned his red eyes to the woman with an expression that spoke of laughter. "We will live. And we will do our best." - Vin'dehl watched as Gabriel spoke, and closed his eyes when the knight let the words pour from his mouth. It was many moments before he stood, moving over to both Sapphira and Cain with a blank expression - almost calm, really. Kneeling next to Sapphira, he felt . . . well, a tug. Not a physical one, so to speak, but certainly an emotional one. Blinking, he glanced to the woman beside him . . . and blushed darkly. - Cain's gaze didn't shift from the spot he had been seemingly staring at while Sapphira spoke. With a tense smile, the Fae nodded. "I don't hear any deceit in your voice," he said, attempting to shrug his thick shoulders. His voice was low, but didn't carry any threat in it's echoing tone. "I will not attack you." I understand. |
"I will just.....umm.....go over here." Lyna said as she stooed up and started to move away from the group, she was feeling to depressed to actually hang around at the moment. She managed to stand up, she moved slowly towards were she could hear the water, she actually wantted to tlak to Cain some more but then angain, this was them partting ways with each other. It always made her even sadder to part ways with people no matter how mean or bad the person was. She had finally made her way towards the river, she eased her self down carefully, sticking her legs and feet into the river. Her head was tilted down as if she were looking into the water as she moved her feet back and forth slowly, it was clear that she was sad.
---------- ((Your welcome Es lol)) |
Sapphira blushed lightly when Vin'dehl knelt next to her. She nodded at his arrival and turned to Cain. "I try to never speak with any deceit or malice..." She finished untiying his bindings. "Please..." She motioned for him to move freely now. She reached around Vin'dehl to grab her satchel and bumped her arm on his back. "Oh~ Sorry....." She flushed and retracted her arm and bag a little to quickly, knocking herself over onto the ground, laying flat on her back.

(sorry guys even with finals week i'm still busy my boyfriends coming down may 8th so i gotta prepare for that)
Miranda is surprised at Dantes determination"yeah your right but how are we gonna decieve them?she hesitates when Dante touches her hair in fear that he would hurt her"yes humans can decieve each other easily"she looks up and lets out a small smile"then we'll do our best". |
((don't worry about it we all know that it is finals for alot of people and that things get hetic durring this time so don't worry and post when you can))

"Clumsy little thing," Inno said, laughing as Sapphira blushed heavily. She turned her gaze to Gabriel and wrapped an arm about his shoulders. "Isn't she?" With a grin, the elf ducked her head. "Nothing like me, who can't get up without tripping over these legs of mine."
- Watching Cain stand, the elf stiffened . . . but relaxed as he sauntered away. When Sapphira bumped him, Vin'dehl blushed again . . . and then reached out to catch her when she fell. Unfortunately, he missed . . . and ended up smiling at her. Reaching over with one hand, the blond elf chuckled, ignoring his sister's words. "Are you alright?" he asked, offering a hand to help Sapphira back up. He suppressed the word beautiful at the end of his sentence, which made him blush all the more. - Cain gratefully rolled one of his shoulders, smiling. Judging by the tone in which Sapphira spoke, the Fae guessed that he was free to go. "I am sorry we had to meet in this way," he said, his duel-toned voice flickering about the clearing. "Glancing" at Inno as she spoke, the Fae tilted his head before slowly standing, adjusting to the fading effects of the anesthetic. He had heard Lyna move off in another direction, and nodded to the others before directing his silent steps in that direction. The indication of movement from the water caught his attention, and Cain moved to stand beside Lyna for a moment. "I'm glad we met," he said, trying not to startle her too much. - Still fingering a bit of Miranda's hair, Dante nodded, and shifted to pull his hand back toward his chest. "We'll find a way to get to them," he said, smiling to match her feeling of uncertainty. "Together." He didn't want to chase the vampire off by frightening her away . . . so he merely smiled and left her alone, his red eyes lingering on the cavern's entrance. |
Sapphira looked up from the ground, her hair spread all around the ground. "......Thank you, Vin..." She took his hand and pulled herself up. "Yes...I am fine...except mabye a bruise on......" She blushed worse. After a moment of light stuttering she brushed the debris off of her skirt and leggings, hoping he hadn't seen her...well when she was on the ground.... She hugged him around the middle. "Thanks.." She whispered into his chest, then pulled away to gather the rope from the ground, hiding her blush with her hair.
