Glancing to Lyna, the Fae frowned slightly. "It's alright," he whispered, taking her hand gently in his own. His new appearance gave him a more gentle air, but that didn't change his voice - it still echoed in duel tones, one low and the other hissing like that of a whisper. His blind eyes were still sightless, but the Fae heard Gabriel - and he smiled. Good for him. - Inno grinned, watching in amazement. When they were finished with their "good deed," the elf woman glomped Gabriel in a hug before accepting her food. Somehow she'd managed not to spill anything. "Thank you," she whispered, taking it and sipping out of the side of the bowl. It was wonderful. . . . |
“Cain…..you don‘t understand…..unlike the rest of you…..I can‘t change my appearance or come off as a less of a threat or even like I am one of the people living here or even hide how i look.” Lyna said to him as she stopped in her tracks, still holding on to the fae’s hand, she could even feel the different air about him but the air around her was very worried. “I will be chased out again…..and feed to the dragon, or burned at the stake as a witch. I don‘t think I can go in there and come back out like I am now.” she said to him as she squeezed his hand for reassurance, she bit her lip slightly, she was worried, but most of all she was in fear for her life, after all she had almost been feed to a dragon once and she did not want that experience to happen again she actually get eaten by one.

Tilting his head, Cain smiled slightly at the blind girl. "Then we will have to hide you ourselves," he whispered, his hand moving up to cover the blindfold over her eyes. It would be a very temporary illusion, but it would have to do for now. Frowning in concentration, the Fae set a slight glamor in place over Lyna - she looked much like the people of the town, even with their fashion in clothing. "It might feel a bit strange," the tall male said, his now dark hair falling over his shoulder as he smiled down at her. "It's only for about an hour. I can renew it after that, but I would appreciate it if we found a place to stay rather quickly."

Lyna bit her lip as she stood still, while Cain did what ever it was that he was doing to her, she felt a tingling feeling come over her then it was like she was wearing very itchy clothes. If she could have seen how she looked then she would have know that her hair was basically black and it even looked like her eyes were normal, but she couldn’t see her self or see at all so she just felt as if she was wearing very itchy clothes. “It feels like I am wearing those very itchy winter clothes…..I am still not so sure about this.” Lyna said as she gave a weak smile, she squeezed his hand as she was semi-forced to follow the group even if they weren’t really moving any where and most were eating or doing other things.

Captain Fredrick stood up. He rose his full height and scratched his chin beard. It was time for him to make his rounds. A captain shouldn't have to make rounds but they had little help and little volunteers. They would if King Dirk would stop killing them, ah well no sense wishing for something that won't happen. He instinctively felt for his armor and sword and set off out of the watch tower. Normally patrols required multiple guards but since he was the Captain of the Watch and the city was basically under a tyrannical rule of the Thunder King there was little crime, or at least little that he couldn't take care of. He looked to the sky and saw it was overcast. Perfect, he was having a bad day already now rain on top of that, with that thought he set off to the main square. |

Sapphira looked at the group. ...much better...hardly a problem with those two...Gabe is normal...-ish....Cain...well...that was very neat....and me?.... She tied her hair into a quick braid, then bunned it and held her hood over it. "Okay...now that we look...mostly normal. How about getting some lodgings?"

The captain took another bite out of the apple he had been given. He wasn't a mean chief of police that you see in fiction, the ones who play second banana to the tyrannical king, so he was well liked by the people. He leaned against a wall and looked out into the middle of the square where a large fountain was placed. It was one of those ordinary fountains, the kind you'd imagine were mass produced on some backwoods island and sold at wholesale. It had angels and cherubs pouring endless buckets of water into a pool of water and bronze pieces. The captain sighed as he tossed the core of the apple into some grass. He felt a few sprinkles on his head so he moved under a tarp near by and continued watching the square. |

Lyna could see everything around her as long as she held onto Cain's hand, she smiled and nodded her head in agreement with Sapphira. "I agree with you, Sapphira." she said to the woman as she lead the way through the crowed, ducking and weaving, soon they were in the square were the safe inns were at, what she didn't expect was to bump into the captian of the gaurds. She backed up a few feet, and looked at the man with out looking at him, but she did seem to look at him with the glamour that Cain had put on her, it seemed like she was a normal person even though she was really blind, she just looked at the man she bumpped into, not wantting to make another wrong move like she had before which caused her to bump into him.

Sapphira nodded at the understanding and walked in the group until they made it towards the center. She hears Lyna make a heavy thudding noise and realized on turning, that she has run into a man. ....a man in some form of armor..... She thought quickly. ...this could be a guard my Elders warned me about....'Always try to be nice even if they are crude'... She remembered them saying. .....He doesn't look too mad yet.... |
-Gabriel looked up from his bowl of soup looking about the town the back to Inno smiling as she ate. He then sat at her feet and kept eating as he continued looking about the town then to the fountain which was so elegantly adorned with angels and cherubs. It reminded him of the cloister back where he'd been raised from a boy. This helped put him at more ease. Yet at the top there wasn't a cross. Just more angels. He didn't care for that very much. However, he'd not let it bother him too much. Then looking he saw a Captain of some sort seeming to also be watching the town.

The Captain looked down at the girl who bumped into him. She looked normal, almost to normal. There was something to be said about this, but it wasn't necessarily important. "Sorry, are you alright, miss?" he said to the girl, "You have to be careful in this part of town these crowd can run right over you."
