"Celeste," Hui muttered curiously. A weird name but his would probably seem strange to her as well. "Hui," he said, pointing at himself. Regaining his cheerful mood, he noticed that Celeste had a backpack. Since she had already wandered into the forest and was prepared for a mini trip then no doubt she was heading towards the forest's center as well. Shading his eyes against the rays that peaked through the leaves above, Hui scanned the branches until he found his favorite path. Stepping onto a crook in the tree and worked his way up to the 'path.' This path was just a bunch of thick branches that had somehow wrapped around each other long enough for moss to grow on it. Standing in view of the girl, Hui crouched down and patted the tree limb wordlessly to show that it was pretty safe for anyone's weight. "Coming?"

Celeste gave Hui a small smile when he told her his name. He didn't seem all that bad, and since she was in a good mood, she wasn't so bitter as to leave him and wander by herself. She took a step forward, again listening to make sure nothing was around them. She heard a horse running not too far off from them. There were others, like Hui and herself going to the center. She wondered if they were all as confused as she was.
A moment later, she heard a tapping, and looked over to see Hui on what looked to be thick branches wrapped around each other. When he asked if she was coming, she bit her bottom lip, and slowly nodded. She was unsure of this twisted mess of branches, but she continued towards them. Stumbling a little, Celeste managed to get across, her dark brown eyes watching her every moment. She stayed silent as she continued towards the center of the forest, looking back only to see if Hui was coming. Continuing to walk, Celeste kept her ears and eyes open for anything or anyone. She was nervous, and it was damp, and dark out. She heard voices nearby, and so she began to walk towards them. It seemed like a skittish boy and two females. A few more minutes later, and she found that indeed there was a guy and two girls not too far off. She hid behind a tree, only being a few feet away. She hadn't intended on getting this close to the strangers, but she looked back to Hui and put a finger to her lips. She hoped he understood that meant to stay quiet. She pointed the people out to him, and continued to watch. She wasn't sure if she should go and greet them or to just stay away. Surely they were heading to the same place she was, along with Hui. |
((I hope you don't mean the swamp forest xD that would be rather hard to navigate through!

Raphael couldn't help, but chuckle as Haru blocked his way. "Alright, then lead the way." He had no issues with following behind, less thinking he had to do and the girl seem to know her way, he assumed. At any rate his trust in her paid off in the end because they made it to their destination. Which didn't really seem to special to him.
"There's more people? I'm starting to have second thoughts about this. " Raphael sighed and looked up into the branches above. It was getting late, no surprise. He shook his head. This was far more than he wanted, but then he thought about it. Would could he have possibly expected. There was something odd about that woman, something that drove him to come here. He mindlessly pulled out his sword and swung it to midair. He let out a sigh. "Haud ones proeliator, haud ones custodis, tamen meus own. Riddles. Riddles. Riddles. Quisnam es vos ut dico mihi?" he whispers, then re-sheaths his sword, his hand still remained on the handle. There was nothing from him, but blank staring after that. Something was not right. Why else would there be more coming? Why else would both him and Haru receive the same calling. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nana stared down at the group below, a strange by with oddly colored hair, and a young woman. Soon someone else came, another female. And then a hawk, who she almost mistook for Nobu. "Looks to be no threat here." She took the shadows of the branches, and headed back towards Nobu and Miwa. She was far to small and quick to stir up anything noticeable. The moment she had them in sight she whistled to them. Miwa began to run towards her as Nobu caught her as she leaped from the trees and dropped her onto Miwa's back. "Don't fly to far Nobu, there are others in the forest. They appear to be harmless, but I don't know. " Nana knew Nobu was far more capable of taking care of himself. He had lived far longer than a hawk should and even then know one she knew of, knew his rightful age. Still she did not know the extent of his abilities, and worried of him like she did any other of her loved ones. Nobu slowed to meet Miwa's speed, which seem to make the white stallion push herself even harder. "Easy, sweetie. Nobu, I'm assuming we're close." The hawk glanced back at her and she nodded. [I'll make Nana be at the center next post. ] |

Sakyo sat patiently on the giant rock, making sure to keep an eye on Raphael and the rest of her surroundings. The others were near, yes, but they were taking their sweet time getting here and it was bothering her every nerve. She wished the woman would appear already and finish what she started, whether or not the others were over here. ---------------- Crim heard something around them, but he wasn't sure what at first. "Flapping...?" he whispered then looked up. "Hey! A bird!" Crim pointed up towards the creature, unaware of what kind of bird it was. In his village there were pigeons and the like, but none of the birds were trained nor did he know what kind they were. He returned his attention to the girls around him then bit his lower lip. "Well... uh... Can we pleeeease head to the center now?" ((I won't ever take control of people unless I need to, but I'm tired of the idle chitchat... so here we go!)) Crim and the girls headed towards the center of the woods. In the very center was a large boulder and Crim couldn't help but jump up and down once he could see the sky again. The center is more of a vast meadow with no trees. Everyone else heading that way is also there as well~ So, please start reacting to seeing each other. Once I feel I can move on to the goddess, I shall enter her. I just want everyone to react to the other characters before I move on. Finally, Celeste stumbled upon a meadow, and realized that Hui was still right behind her. Her chocolate brown eyes widened slightly at the other people that were there. One had a horse, a few had hawks, and Celeste, well she had her knapsack. After a minute of her mouth agape, she slowly shut her mouth and looked around still. The meadow was beautiful, but she didn't understand why they were all there. What did this goddess in her dream want with all of them? She slowly took a few more steps inside and hugged her upper frame nervously as she watched the others. She hoped the goddess would be there soon, so she could just go home again. Following Crim's lead, Eirian traveled deeper into the forest. At one point she saw a hawk circle over head before winging away and heard a rider pass by on horseback. She didn't bother to speak up, instead opting for silence. Closing her eyes, she let her mind flow with the life energy around her and her feet faithfully followed the path through the forest. She didn't stray from the others since she could sense their life energy and was able to stay close.
Suddenly she felt the sun more clearly on her face so she opened her eyes and saw they had entered a large clearing that was more a meadow with a large boulder in the centre. Six others entered the meadow as well and she saw how diverse the ones chosen for this mission were. She couldn't say for certain but several didn't feel quite human, though she could say for certain none were elves. Looks like she was alone here. She noticed several hawks wheeling over head and she recognized one as the hawk that had found them earlier. Now that she was here, she was extremely curious as to what this mission entailed exactly. Despite the fact that she had come this far she wasn't entirely sure what she would do after this. She had yet to decide whether or not to follow the commands of the mysterious woman in her dreams. She supposed she would decide what to do after she had heard more information. Either way, she was going to do whatever felt right to her. ((Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been swamped with work, house work and trying to complete my university applications. Pretty much done the second two so should be able to post more now)) |
Emilia was getting impatient with her bird friend Izaya, she really didn't want to see others. However glad she was to know that she wasn't the only one, she just didn't appreciate humans as much as she did the birds. When Crim took note of the hawk, it dipped it's wing and flew off towards Emilia again, letting out a screech as he swooped passed her head. "Finally!" She caught sight of the others coming towards the center before steering Elan around towards the center.
She had dismounted her house by the time the others had come into the clearing, and seemed to be hiding behind the mare. Izaya was floating in circles right above the boulder, it made Emilia smile. She knew he was gloating for having lead her there, however she was surprised to see another hawk. When Crim and his gang appeared, Emily went around her horse to the other side, pretending to brush Elan's hair as she peeked out with wide, brown eyes. "...What has he done with his hair? He looks a little like a cockatiel..." She looked at the two near the boulder, the girl with the horns frightened her a bit, one reason she stayed near the outer edged of the meadow. The sparrow from before lighted on her shoulder, startling the girl. "Chester.. do you think they all had the same dream?" (( xD; Sorry if it sucks, Gotta fly. )) |
