“It‘s not bad but I don‘t plan to have pictures taken of me on my day off or if they don‘t ask.” she said to him as he bumped her shoulder with his arm, she tighten her grip on his arm a little as if she was refusing to let him go. “Who said I am hanging out with you? Maybe you’re the one that is hanging out with me.” she said in a playful tone, she reached a hand up and played with a strand of hair that was over her shoulder. He was handsome, she was a little surprised that to people that were so different but yet the same could get along so well. She knew that they were stunningly beautiful, maybe if they did a photo shoot together, they might be considered the best couple in the modeling world. “Do you think we will ever get to work together?” she asked him, her voice was thoughtful, she really wanted to have a chance to work with him now that she got to see him work.

Kai laughed out loud when Luna spoke of him hanging out with her, and muttered his agreement to it as she continued. Watching her hand flicker up to her shoulder to mess with a bit of her hair, he then let a smile spread across his smooth features. "Together, deary?" Looking down to her hands as she kept a good hold on him, the Uni let his smile widen. Before he spoke, his pale hand moved to rest over one of hers, and he gently caressed her fingers. "I don't think we'll be avoiding it much longer." His green eyes met hers for a moment, and their pace slowed ever so slightly. "We've both let our names get around, and we're bound to be dumped into the same fishbowl sooner or later, don't you think?"
Leaning over, Shusuke gently bumped Luna's head with his own playfully. "In fact, I think I'm going to put in a few words about you with my current employer. I'm sure he'd love to get our companies together to boost their profit."
A few minutes later, they reached the surprise restaurant - Italian. "Up for some pasta?" Blowing a bit of dark hair out of his face, the tall male chuckled. "I'm warning you right now that I'm a messy eater. You might want to grab a few extra napkins to protect yourself." As they stepped into the building, a few Hatter surrogates approached to take their order and give them a seat.

Luna smiled even more when she heard Kai laugh, it was a nice sound and she liked it, she blushed some when he called her deary. “Yes we might be…well if you do that we are bound to get to work together then.” she said as she laughed, blushing even more, she stopped playing with her hair as she reached up and pushed the dark hair that he was trying to blow out of his face away from it. “Pasta sounds good.” she said as she laughed at his next comment, she was smiling so much now that it seemed to just be permanently there on her face. “I think I will live, if I get stains on this dress it won‘t kill me. I must warn you though, I tend to be messy myself when it comes to pasta.” She said as she bumped him with her hips a little bit before she took her seat across from him, she had laughed at her self, she never really admitted to anyone that she was messy when it came to pasta. You could say that it was a secret of hers, but telling Kai didn't seem like it would be to bad, she was having a great time and was actually bonding with someone.

"I think we'll keep each other good, messy company then," Shusuke said with a crooked smile - he noticed that hers was permanent, and it was beginning to feel like it was the same for him. She used her hip to bump into him, and Kai made a face at her before taking his seat. Instead of wine, he ordered cider - and then looked to Luna. She would order what she wanted, and then they could resume talking when the waiter walked off. Honestly, it was the best part of the evening - speaking with his new friend. Despite just meeting, it felt like they'd known one another for at least a week or so. Yet it had only been one evening . . . and now morning.
"You have beautiful eyes," Kai blurted, leaning his chin into one hand as he watched Luna. A blush spread over his features again, but the youth merely let his emerald gaze linger on the woman.

Luna just laughed at the comment that Kai made, it was funny to her in a odd way. She order the same drink that Kai did, not wanting soda or wine her self, she thought that she would at least try cider. Maybe she would like it, the waiter soon walked off to fill their order, she clasped her hands before her has she set her elbows on the table, resting her chin on the back of her hands. He then made a comment about her eyes which made her blush and close them, she was exactly used to some one on the same level as her commenting her. “Thank you…” she whispered as she tried to hide even more, after a few minutes she opened her eyes back up and looked him over. It felt awkward a little now, like how the first date always is, she blushed even more when she thought that, turning her face away slightly to hide it as much as she could.

Watching as Luna shied away from his gaze, Shusuke chuckled, blinking slowly. "You're welcome," he said quietly, looking over the woman as she let her gaze move over him. It was about a minute later when the waiter approached to set their glasses down, and then took off to help someone else. So much for ordering so soon.
"Feel like sharing?" Kai asked, slowly taking his chin out of his hand. Grabbing the menu, he got up and moved to the chair beside Luna, scooting her over playfully. "We messy eaters also eat like birds when it comes to an appetite."
Leaning his shoulder against hers, the youth looked down at the words before him. "What are you in the mood for? Something creamy? Lots of sauce? Meat?" His gaze lingered first on Luna's face, and then (after he forced it away) on the chicken alfredo pasta dish.

“You can pick and no I don‘t mind sharing.” She said as she smiled at him, she could feel his gaze on her and it made her blush even more. She picked her drink up and sipped at it gentle before she placed back down. Some of her auburn hair fell over her shoulder, her hand went up to it and started to twist a strand of it between her fingers absently, she leaned towards the menu that he held in front of him. Making her lean even closer to him then he was to her, she put her finger on a dish that seemed interesting to her. “What about this chicken cordon bleu lasagna?” she asked him as she turned her head to look at him, she didn’t realize how close she was leaning to him until she turned her head, she quickly turned her head away, her face was a brighter red then it was before.

Elijah's eyes followed to where the girl was pointing to. The sight of the couple made Elijah feel sadness. That would be a perfect picture. "That'd be a perfect shot. So sad," whispered Elijah.
He quickly snapped a few shots of the couple, capturing the mood and feelings. He almost felt like he shouldn't have took a picture of them, but it would be a great picture to show others about the hardships.

The Hatter smiled sadly, and then motioned for Elijah to follow. "If you want the people we can't help, there's some over here." Frowning, she led the photographer into the adjacent room slowly. Inside were the individuals that had no chance of surviving - wounded, dying, and coughing . . . sick and hurt beyond healing. Humans and surrogates alike, though mostly human. Surrogates tended to live.

"Sounds good," Kai said in a broken voice, trying in vain to ignore how close they were. She noticed though, and when Luna pulled away, the boy merely chuckled nervously. Motioning for the waiter, he placed their order, and then looked back to the girl at his side. To break the awkward moment, he leaned over and whispered into her ear playfully.
"Two birds can finish off one plate, I'm sure." Wrapping an arm around Luna's shoulders, he nudged her with a laugh. "Hope I didn't spoil your appetite."

She couldn't help but laugh at him some, the things he said didn't quiet make since to her but that was okay, she could live with it. "You won't spoil it." she said as she picked her drink up again and took a sip out of it, she was blushing still and wished that it would go away. "So um.....how many brothers and sisters do you have?" she asked him as she started to twirl a strand of her hair again, her voice was soft and like she was trying to hide, she strted to look around the room. She then reached into her purse and pulled out a pencil and a piece of paper and began to doodle hearts and other little lovy-dovy things absently as she looked back at Kai.

"I have parents," Kai said, smiling as he watched Luna doodle. "But no siblings." He frowned. "I don't see them anymore." Without my avatar, I wouldn't be seeing anyone, actually. His frown deepened as he thought of his real life. Things were so different . . . too different.
"And you?" he asked, trying to avoid the subject of his past. "Do you have any family to speak of?"

"Well...umm....There is me, my parents, my two older sisters, my older brother, my two younger brothers, my brother-in-law, and my niece. The live out in the country so i go and visit them when i can." she said to him as she started to draw the face of each of her family memebers, she had a very large family and she felt bad for those who had no one but then again it was life. She ran a hand through her hair absently as she looked over at Kai, she was really starting to like him. She wantted to ask more about him but she didn't know where to start so she just let the silience sink in the space around him.

"That's quite a family tree you've got going there," Kai muttered, smiling. "So you're a country girl, eh?" Nudging her arm with his, the youth fingered the edge of the table. He loved the way she messed with her hair . . . it was so cute, he blushed just watching her. "You like the sun, don't you?"
As the silence filled the air about them, the Uni kept a smile on his face, letting it slowly fade away. Every time he thought about Luna, it showed up again . . . but he did his best to look normal. Or, normal for him, anyway. He wasn't the most "normal" person on earth . . . but hey! At least he could think he was.

"Yeah....i do have a big family and family reunions are even bigger. Yes, i am a country girl." she said to him, she blushed even more when she said the last part, most people didn't know that about her, she was actually felt very out of place in the city but it was nessacary for her to live in it.

"I like the sun....but i like the moon even better. It is actually hard to see things here in the city. Which do you prefur the moon or the sun?" she asked him as she turnned her attention to him, her hand going back up to her strand of hair, twirling it in her finger absently.

She watched Kai closly, seeing him smile for a few minutes then it would fade away, then it came back and went away, it continued for some time, making her wonder about what he was thinking. She smiled some more as she thought about him and what could or might happen between them, then her face drop when she saw someone walk by the window and she hide as best as she could behind Kai.

"If I had to choose between the sun and the moon," Shusuke thought for a moment. "I would choose the moon. The sun isn't necessarily nice to those that are out under it's rays for a long while." Wrinkling his nose, the youth made a face. Luckily, avatars didn't get sunburned, but it was still an unpleasant memory that made him wary of being outside for too long.
Kai laughed quietly when the girl hid against him, and then wrapped an arm about Luna's shoulders. "That scared to be seen?" he asked, kissing her temple. Running a hand through her hair, he chuckled. "How on earth are you going to eat this way?"
Ignoring his past, and his real life, Kai chose to stay in the moment with Luna. She was what the earth revolved around at that moment. His earth, anyway. A few seconds later, their food was served. The steaming plate of food was greeted with Kai being enthusiastic, and he watched the food like it was going to run away.
"Smells good," the youth said, his bright green eyes shining. "Ready to eat?"

“Well it isn‘t that….it is just……I saw my Ex and well…..he used to…..never mind Let‘s eat.” She said to him, her voice sound sad and scared as she talked to him, then it was like a switch was flipped and she was happy again. She blushed when he wrapped his arm around her and kissed her temple, she blushed even more when she realized that this was similar to a first date or is a first date.
She shoved the paper and pencil into her purse and turned to look at Kai, getting a glimpse of the window; he wasn’t there anymore which was good for her. She took a sip of her drink before she picked up the forks, handing one to him and keeping the other for her self. She smiled as she stuff her fork into the food and took a bite, it was like her face lit up, even some the food that she was eating dropped into her lap and she started blushing because she was embarrassed by it. She took a napkin and started to clean it up, not even making eye contact with Kai.

"That good?" he asked, eagerly taking the fork from her. Politely ignoring the food she dropped into her lap, the young model took a bite from the other side of the plate. Chewing, he let an expression of pure enjoyment flit over his perfectly sculpted face. "This really is good." Licking his lips, Kai took a second bite before looking at Luna. "You don't have anything to do today, do you?" A smile. "I know I've already asked, but humor me. I like hearing your voice."

"Yes, it is good." Luna said in agreement with him, she watched his face as he took a bite of the food, she couldn't help but smile softly at him, it just made her happier to see that he enjoyed the food also. "No, I don't have anything planned today, other then avoidding him." She said to him as she pointted to the guy that had walked by the window again for the fifth time since they had come inside to eat. She laughed at his last comment about him liking the sound of her voice, she took another bite of the food but was more careful not to drop any this time around. She really liked Kai, he was handsome, understood her job better then anyone else and he didn't make feel bad about her self unlike her Ex whom seemed to be stalking her at the moment. She shrunk a little bit more everything that she saw him walk by the window, she could only guess what was going through his mind at the moment.

"Is he stalking you?" Kai asked, glancing toward the now-familiar figure that passed the window. "Why are you avoiding him?" Ducking his head in embarrassment, Shusuke shook his head. "No, don't answer that. It was a personal question." Taking another bite, the Uni shifted to better hide Luna from the window view.
"Is there any way to tell him off? He's not going to get you back like this." Kai grimaced at his words, knowing how this sort of thing worked. Sure, it was a heck of a lot scarier for a girl than a guy, but stalking wasn't unusual for a model.
Focusing on the food once again, Kai shook his head, his shaggy hair falling into his eyes. Brushing it away, the slender youth glanced back to Luna, struck once again by her beauty.
"Uhm," he seemed speechless for a moment, and then, after a dark blush, he cleared his throat. "Perhaps there's a back door?"

“Yes…..he is sort of stalking me.” she said to him with a weak smile, she was glad that he was on the understanding side, she glanced back out the window for a minutes before she went to go and answer his next question. “You see….he acts like the perfect guy in public, but underneath it all he is a controlive bastard that likes to beat up on people. The first week that we dated was all fine and dandy……then…..I had to take days and weeks…sometimes even months just to get healed so that I could work. I have a restraining order on him but he still stalks me like this…..not wanting me to be happy.” she said to him as she started to fidget in her seat, she even started to bite her lip, she smiled when he adjusted how he was sitting to hide her from view. She leaned towards him and kissed him lightly on the cheek, she blushed before she turned back towards the food and took bite of it, trying to act like that didn’t happen. “Thank you for being so nice….and understanding.” she whispered to him as she looked back up at him, a small smile on her face, she nodded her head when he mentioned a back door to the place, she just hoped that things would get better.

"Have you told anyone?" Kai asked quietly, taking a bite of his own food as his blush died down. "There's gotta be someone who can take care of him, right?"

Luna looked up at Kai, she ran a hand through her hair, she took another bite of the food and pondered about what he had said. "Your the first one I told about it." she said to him as she took another bite of the food, as for if there was someone that could take care of him....well she didn't know about that at the moment. "I don't know if anyone can take care of him......" she whispered as she sipped gentle at her drink.

"I," Kai paused, looking to the window. "I know of someone. I mean, if you don't want anyone to interfere, I have no right to be talking." The emo-themed youth blushed, and he forced his attention back to the dish before them. "But I think I can get in contact with someone who would be willing to cart him off so he won't be bothering you anymore." Clearing his throat, Shusuke glanced about before lowering his voice. "His name is Vance. He isn't the type to question much."
