[[YAY! Lol is there anything you would like added to it?]]
((not that i'm aware of... I find it awkward how there are different groups so if I was to change anything i would bring us all together so we could all interact with each other, but I think it's fine the way it is))
[[The problem is that people tend to venture off into little cliques so it's a little hard to do that...I've tried before trust me...with another rp...they all stopped because of it ;A;]]
((I know, that is a problem, so I don't mind keeping it the way it is. I just know it's awkward and slightly annoying when I get an email saying someone posted and then I get here and it only applies to a different story))
Yea I know how that is :( No one wants to talk to Sakura...]]
((I'd talk to you... it's just that i'm surrounded by people in my ice tree))
[[I understand lol]]
(( =) ))
((cool, I'd chat longer but i need to head to bed, later))
[[Tis Fine...Nighty Night!]]
((i'm actually waiting a reply from you....))
[[Soowwwyyyyy!!!!]]
Sakura nodded. "I'm Sakura! I live in an oak tree...I grew it specifically for that purpose...it can even stay alive with me in it! And I can change it whenever." She sat down next to him. "Where are you from?" |

"The lady who lived in the big tree with the books says that the story teaches us to be brave and to take care of our world. Do you know any good stories?" Max asked sitting down cross-legged before Serena. |
Jay smiled. He was so happy that he found another fairy outside of where he lived. "I live back that way," he pointed in the direction he came from. "It's a two day walk.... or fly... which ever you prefer. but I lived in a bed of roses. at least until my father died. Now i'm traveling to see what i can find."
"Would you like to stay with me?" Sakura asked with her head tilted slightly. She always loved making new friends.
[[sorry so short...and I'm glad you guys like this thread =3]] |
Serena thought about it and finally nodded with a smile "yes, it's a legend I heard when I was a child" Serena said before closing her eyes and taking a deep breath.
"Long Ago, when the forest was new, fairies were just starting to arrive. There were many types of fairies, but the snow was bare. The winter forest was a dangerous place to be, it was filled with blizzards and animals that blended in with the snow. Whenever fairies ventured into the snow, they never returned. They either froze to death, or they were killed by the wild animals. "Then one day, a fairy returned. He was a water fairy and claimed a beautiful woman helped him out of the snow. Since then, the fairies viewed the snow as something to study. That water fairy kept going back to the snow, and meeting with the woman. However, one day he didn't return. Everyone claimed the woman to be evil because she had claimed snother life. The snow had become forbidden. For years and years no one went there. "Then a child became lost in the snow. The fairies searched endlessly for the child. They ventured into the snow and found a small villiage, with ice fairies flitting about. Right in the middle of the group was the child. He was with the water fairy that had disappeared. "Once the child had been returned to his parents, the water fairy explained that the beautiful woman had given him power over ice. Since then, he'd been living in the snow. But he was lonely, so he shaped ice crystals into fairies, and he brought them to life. He, along with the newly made ice fairies, tamed the snow and made it safe. "As for the woman, no one ever saw her again. But when travellers are lost in the snow, they claim that it was her that lead them to safety, not so foar no one has been able to prove it. She is a legend that has survived throughout the many, many years, and will likely stay that way. Is she real or a dream? No one knows" Serena said, winking lightly at Max. |
"Uhm...what's snow?" Max asked at the end of the story.
"Is it like ice? I've never seen snow. It's a great story an- ah I'm hungry." Max said only to be interrupted in his hyperactive question round by his rumbling stomach. He blushed a little and rubbed his stomach as he spoke again with one sleeve covered hand. Seraphina had curled up around Max during the story and was fast asleep it seemed. |
"Snow is a softer form of ice. More specifically, it's a bunch of tiny ice crystals all bunched together. It's gorgeous" Serena said as she floated over to her food stash and grabbed some fruit. She flew back over to Max and handed him a piece "here you go" she said with a smile "That story was actually a few legends combined. The first legend was the phantom woman who is believed to protect travellers, and the other one is how ice fairies came into existence."
((sorry i havent posted in a while. i'll post soon. been busy, but im still here ^_^ ))
"Well I think it's a great story. Hm, this is good...whassit?" Max said eating the fruit happily.
"Hm...snow sounds interesting an pretty...if I ever find some I'll take some with me so I can show others when I tell them." he went on. Max was still young. The thought that ice and snow would melt didn't even occur to him. He'd never seen either before today. "Yum...this is really tasty whatever it is...ah my wing feels weird it tingles like it's gone to sleep. It tickles." he said giggling and wiggling his previously broken wing a bit. |
Serena sighed and knealt at Max's side. She gently ran her hands along his wing, checking to see if it would be alright. "I'm not entirely sure what this fruit is, they don't grow in the snow area, all I know is that it's sweet and yummy. As for snow... well it's very cold. As I said before, snow is a lot of tiny ice crystals. Ice is frozen water. If you were to warm up the ice, or the snow, it would start going back to it's watery state. That's why it's so cold. I'm afraid you'd have to bring your friends to personally look at the snow because it doesn't travel well" she said before frowning. She'd felt a crack in a delicate bone, she knew from personal experience that when it breaks, it hurts a lot... and it takes a long time to heal. "It seems, as though you have the unfortunate opportunity of breaking a wing bone. I'll numb the pain that I know is waiting to burst forward, but I'm afraid all that can be done is to wait for the bone to heal" she explained as she leaned forward and gently kissed his wing, sending waves of ice through the wing to numb any pain and to freeze the bone in place so it wouldn't heal funny.
"Hm...well that's sad...maybe I could draw it when I see it...but first I need a bag that I won't lose whenever the wind grabs me...I lost my bag earlier before I fell down to here." Max said frowning. He shivered at the cold numb feeling in his wing.
Seraphina looked up and started to move about looking for a way out of the tree. Max watched her and Serena his head moving to follow first the one then the other. |
Serena unfroze the door of her home, allowing the occupants to see outside. "Well, perhaps you can find a bag and use the straps as a belt or something. That way it's harder to lose your bag" Serena suggested and then remembered the broken wing "oh! by the way, you're going to want to go easy on that wing for awhile. Wing bones are delicate anyway, but that particular bone is extremely delicate, so it's going to take even longer to heal. My suggestion is fly as little as possible and just all around baby that wing. Trust me, the more you baby it, the less it will hurt" she instructed Max.
Max yawned and nodded at what Serena said.
"Sou-sounds good..." he murmured. Seraphina made a soft little giggle like noise and flitted first around the room until she found something soft and warm to cover Max with who'd curled up where he still sat on the ground. Then she flitted out of the tree house. Seraphina quickly flew about searching. She quickly found what she'd been looking for and chirred triumphantly before flying at it and grabbing the small grey bag. She quickly flew back to the ice tree house and flitted around it to find the way in again. |
