"I.. I didn't mean it like that... it's just.." He ran his fingers through his hair. "I just.. I don't know what I'm saying..."

She smiled softly and shook her head and looked through the racks, humming softly, grabbing things here and there, making her way around the store. "Hnn.. hope he isn't digging himself into a deeper hole..."

"U-um.. hey.. lets get going okay?"

Mel tilted her head up at him letting go of her hair and placed her hands behind her back and nodded. "Ok" She mumbled quietly before brushing some hair from her face and nodded again. "Yeah...don't want D buying everything before I get there" She started around the corner before she opened the door to the store and looked around seeing what they had. She listened to the girls chat in her head as she started to look through everything. "Hmm...everything is either to girly...or guy clothes..." Though she was really tempted to buy guy clothes. She pulled a few shirts off the rack along with jeans. Mel eyed a sundress for a moment before grabbing that too.

Al watched Mel walk into the store. Once she wandered off towards the back he waited for his brother to get in the store. "Brother? Can I ask you a question?" He looked over at the girls then back at his sibling. "I know I can't remember anything from the time I was bound to the suit of armor but while they visited did I ever...say I liked one of them?"

"Like one of them...?" He raised an eyebrow. "You never mentioned liking one of them-.. hey.. you don't like Mel do you?" He hissed scowling at his younger brother. "I liked her first..."

She peeked over a rack and smiled to Mel lifting an eyebrow, trying to ask without words what had happened. she blinked watching Edward's stance change and rolled her eyes taking the items she collected to the dressing rooms to try on what she gathered, wondering if she should grab more.

Al blinked listening to his brother freak out before he shook his head and held his hands up in front of him for defense. "Relax Ed...I never said that...I only asked a simple question...and besides...I'm not really the one you should be telling about liking her" He sighed. "You aren't going to keep it locked away forever are you? They have a habit of leaving suddenly...from what you told me"

Mel sighed and shook her head frowning slightly. "He didn't tell me anything..." She mumbled once they were in the dressing room. "He told me that me coming here threw him off...I told him if I knew I was coming I would have called" She snickered a little before she started trying on clothes. "I don't think he'd tell me whether there was something wrong or not.." She huffed standing in front of a mirror.

She giggled softly stepping out in a light colored shirt and a dark skirt looking over the outfit in the mirror. "Ugh, he can be such a guy some times.. I mean seriously, he can't be hone- hnn.. how does this look?" She turned around tilting her head at her before making a turn. "If he can't be honest with himself, he's just going to be kicking his own ass..."

"Yeah? well.. good.." He mumbled softly before crossing his arms. "Wait.. so that means you like.... aw, come on.. how can you like my mortal enemy? She's evil and cruel.. and.. uh.. evil...." He waved his arms. "She's my nemesis, how can you possibly like her?"

"You know how men are..." She sighed and twirled around in her sundress and smiled. "Oh it's pretty~" She nodded towards D before she shrugged. "I'm not going to bother him about it..." Mel sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. "Last thing I want to do is seem annoying..." She frowned leaning against a wall.

I bet I could get him to talk...

"No violence Kayko..." She pushed her glasses up a bit before she mumbled to herself continuing to try on clothes.

Al raised his eyebrow. "Mortal enemy? Really Edward..." He shook his head. "I could name at least ten other people that I would consider your mortal enemy...and if you haven't noticed she's only cruel to you...and Mel sometimes...along with Roy...she's nice to everyone else. Besides you know what she's picking on you for...if you just spoke your mind I'm sure she'd lessen the torture..."

"That is not the point Al! She's evil!"

She rolled her eyes and tossed a shoe at his head. "You are aware I can hear you screaming right?"

He rubbed the back of his head and glared. "See? She's evil, and spying on us too!"

"Not really... You're yelling about how 'she's evil' and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that's picked on you lately.. so I'm safe in assuming it's me... if you're going to yell go outside. If you want to talk about me behind my back do it quieter..."

Al covered his mouth watching his brother get hit by a shoe. "She has a point...you were talking rather loud about her" He glanced towards the back of the store and chuckled a little. "I'm sure he'll quiet down now"

Mel giggled a bit trying on the last bit of clothing she grabbed and tilted her head staring at the mirror. "I guess I'm done for now..." She kept a pair of new clothes on waiting for D to finish. "Guys are weird..." She looked up at the front of the store watching the two brothers. She fiddled with her hair as she waited shifting back and forth. "I hate having to have the guys pay for this..."

She laughed softly and shook her head. "Well, we can't walk around in one pair of clothes all the time.. especially our modern clothes. And I'm sure you can pay them back some how.." She shook her head finishing up, setting aside clothes she liked and draped them over one arm while going around putting back the ones she didn't like. She tilted her head looking back at Mel. "Well. Mana can..." She smiled.

He scowled and huffed softly glaring at the dressing rooms as he grumbled. "I don't think I even know you any more Al.." He huffed and rubbed his forehead. "Why couldn't you like some nice girl that didn't hate me...?"

Mel nodded her head and smiled a bit. "That's a good idea...though how to kick them out of the room for a few hours..." She tilted her head and placed her hands on her hips. "Oh~ When they go see Mustang? We can cook then that will give us more then enough time" She nodded gathering her stuff.

A raised his eyebrow and sighed shaking his head. "That wouldn't give me a lot of options Edward...I'm pretty sure the only girl that actually likes you is Mel"

After Mel finished getting her stuff together she ran over to the front of the store. "In stead of going out to eat we can go home and make a homemade meal for you guys while you go see what Roy wants" She tilted her head and smiled a bit. "Just think of it as a thank you for letting us stay here"

He scoffed slightly looking at Al. "That's not the point.. I mean.. of all the girls in Central, you pick her..?" he looked at Mel and blushed slightly before looking at D and scowling. "I don't know if I'd trust her making me food...." He muttered softly paying for the clothes and shoving his watch back into his pocket.

"Relax blondie.. I'm eating it too..." She rolled her eyes and added her clothes to the pile Mel had, opting to wear one of her outfits out, a white button up top and a pair of dark pants. "besides, why would I want to run the risk of accidentally killing someone if I got the plates mixed up?" she frowned softly and crossed her arms shaking her head. "Why don't you two see what Mustang wants and we'll meet you back at the apartment..."

"I'll be the one cooking..." Sort of... "Since we're all finished we'll head back now" She placed her hands on her hips after she grabbed her clothes. "The food will be ready in about an hour don't be late" She nodded turning to D and smiled. "Let's go get dinner ready...make sure the boys actually have food to cook" She giggled.

"I can't help how I have feelings for Edward..." He crossed his arms and shook his head. "At least I have a better excuse then you do..." He mumbled before he waved to the girls and smiled. "We won't be late for dinner!" He called before dragging his brother out of the shop. "Maybe visiting Roy will get you back on track"

"I don't need to be back on track" He grumbled and shuffled off towards head quarters. "What's the point if she's moved on already?" he frowned kicking a rock. "And I'd just look stupid asking her..."

She giggled and shook her head pausing for a moment. "Hnn.. I'd think Mina already knows that we're here... since I don't think she'd have a need to be in your head... though I never really understood how this whole" she waved her hands around her head, "thing works.. if you're in their world can you still hear them? Though I don't think you could switch with them.. well you could, but what would be the point really?" She smiled softly. "I wonder if she's worried you'll take away Edwards innocents?" She wiggled her fingers. "Then she can't look after him anymore once he's a maaaaaaan..."

"If you don't ask your going to spend your life wondering 'what if' besides...have you even heard her talk about another guy that she knows?" He raised his eyebrow. "Besides...don't you see the way you two look at each other? Honestly brother...you jump into a battle without thinking but you get nervous around a girl"

Mel tilted her head and thought for a moment. "Well...I can't talk to her...but there wouldn't really be a need too as of yet anyway...though with our luck you never know" Mel placed her hands behind her back and stretched. "They seem to have a better handle on things then I do...Sometimes I can hear what's going on when we switch sometimes I can't" Her nose twitched. "What?!" She stumbled before catching herself. "D! That's not one of the reasons Mina watches out for him" She shifted. "I asked her to watch him because I would worry..." She looked around as they walked back towards the apartment.

He grumbled and huffed stomping ahead of his brother. "No one asked you..."

She giggled and ducked her head, avoiding any swinging hands that may have come at her head. she giggled and scratched her cheek. "Oh hush.." She smiled and opened the door and headed up to the apartment. She paused for a moment and wrinkled her nose. "Uuuum.... we need the key.. huh...?" She looked over at Mel and smiled. "Hnnn unless you can call to Mina and get her to let us in...."

Al chuckled. "Well with how you've been acting I couldn't help myself"

Mel raised her eyebrow and looked over at the door. "Key? Ah...well we had something better then a key" She knocked on the door. "Lilly will you open the door? The boys never gave us a key" After a few moments of silence the two could here sighing and mumbling before she door swung open having Lilly hanging off the knob. "Thank you Lilly~"

"I'll never find that comfy spot now" She huffed landing on the ground before she leaped up onto a counter. "Your home early..." She licked her paw and stretched before she laid down. "Done shopping already?"

"Mmhmm" Mel smiled before she dropped her bags on the floor and stretched. "Alright...it's cooking time!" She nodded as light surrounded her having a completely different woman take her place.

"So good to see the two of you again" Mana smiled before she rubbed Lilly's head and hugged D. "I'm going to make a big meal for the four of you" She then paused for a moment and looked around the apartment frowning softly. "You can tell teenage boys live here..." Her nose twitched. "Looks just like my son's room"

"I suppose all teenagers are like this..." Mana sighed and shook her head. "Though I do hope Suki's a bit neater then her brother" She pushed her sunglasses up a bit before she hummed to herself rolling up her sleeves. "This shouldn't take too long" She looked over at D. "Just be careful if you sit to long I'll try and dust you" Mana giggled before she found some cleaning products and started to clean the apartment. She started singing to herself as she stacked papers and dusted.

Lilly purred slightly curling up into her lap and yawned closing her eyes. "It'll do..but you don't give off heat like Mel does" She chuckled a little.

"Doesn't mean I don't enjoy extra warmth..." She mumbled as she ears twitched.

Mana blinked looking up from her cleaning and tilted her head. "Right of course" She giggled a bit before she went back to cleaning. Mana could easily clean for hours a a time but she knew she had to cook breakfast before the boys got home. As time passed the apartment started to shine. "I believe that's enough cleaning for today..." She nodded. To anyone else standards the apartment was spotless but Mana could always find something else to clean. "Let's start on breakfast...we don't want the boy coming home to no breakfast" She giggled. The gentle demon washed her hands before she opened the fridge getting an idea of what to make. She pulled food out starting to prepare it. Mana was quite the chef but she never gave herself to much credit though sometimes she thought that was the only reason Sanzo had married her.

He sneezed and rubbed his nose as he stepped out of Roy's office, rolling his eyes. "He couldn't have just sent us a message? That hardly seems like something to call us to his office for." He sighed and shook his head. "Waste of my time.. no good annoying pain in my ass..."

She giggled and waved her hands. "Mana, it's fine.. you always make more then enough food..." She giggled and smiled. "Really, we'll be fed for at least a week now." she looked at the clock on the wall and wrinkled her nose. "Way to be roman numerals and not digital..." She grumbled and did a bit of math in her head. "Um.. you may want to change back soon.. the boys are probably on their way back now..."

"Well it's good to know your back to normal for now..." Al chuckled a bit following his brother out of the office. "I'm excited to see what the girls come up with for breakfast"

Mana nodded doing some finishing touches on the food in front of her before she smiled. "I wouldn't want to give away how unique you girls are just yet..." She laughed. She brushed herself off and smiled. "Ah...it seems I have to cook breakfast once again...my darling family is hungry" The light appeared again and Mel stood there. She then stretched and yawned. "Mmm yummy...The guys better get back soon...egg don't stay warm for long"

He rolled his eyes. "Oh, very funny Alphonse..." He smiled and launched at his brother, messing up his hair. "I'll race ya there.." Her smirked and took off down the road.

She scratched her cheek, tilting her head quietly as she paused. "Well.... I don't think they'll be gone too much longer.... this all seems.. very familiar...." She murmured softly and shook her head. "Heh, sorry." she waved her hands and sat down on one of the chairs in the kitchen. "Maybe I'm going crazy.." She giggled sticking out her tongue.
