Takeo blushed slightly, and he nodded. "You're more than welcome," he said softly, smiling at her.

Masmi blinked. She knew that boy that was with Damien's sister from somewhere... she just couldn't put her finger on it.... Then it hit her. He was the one that saved her when she was struck by lightning a year ago!! She thought she would never get a chance to thank him.... Would he remember her?

Takeo nodded. "Anytime," he said, smiling softly at Yukina and Damien.

Masami blinked, and she nodded. "Yes, I'm Ok. It was nice to meet you," she said happily.

Takeo then realized that Masami was the girl that he had taken care of after she was struck by lightning.

Masami blinked. "I... never got to thank you for saving me," she said quietly to Takeo. "You left... before I could even tell you.... So.... thank you," she said softly, smiling at Takeo.

Takeo nodded. "No problem. I couldn't let you suffer from the lightning... Taking care of you was the least I could do," he said softly, smiling at her.

Damien smiled at Yukina then blinked as she lookedbetween Masami and Taeko.He watched ehr as she let got of is hand and suden;y took off running."Yukina!",he yealled after her.And sighed.

Takeo's eyes widened and he suddenly ran after Yukina. "Yukina!!! Yukina, wait!!" he yelled, snapping out his wings and flying after her.

Masami blinked. "Did she leave because of me?" she thought sadly, but snapped out her wings and flew after Yukina. "Yukinaa!!!"

Takeo landed a few feet away from Yukina and he pulled in his wings as he ran after her. "Yukina!! Please wait!!!" he exclaimed, wondering why he cared about her so much...

Damien easily kept up with Masami."no not you .... she was trusting Takeo,and fel safe with him,she got scared that he was going to leave ,since you said he left before you could thank him......she dosnt like getting close to people ,when she does she always gets hurt",he said with a small growl."if she actualy speaks to you then she trusts you"

Yukina heard everyone yelling her name.Makeing her run faster.She flinched when she heard the thunder crash.She ran even faster and turned down a dirt path that lead deeper into the forest area of teh city park.She yellped and as tripped over something and fell down an imbankment.She tumbeled and rolled down the embankmet,only comeing to a stop at the bottom.Shje caught her breath and sat up slowly.When she tried standing she only fell back down and heled her anchel in pain.She shivered and pulled her knees close to her cheast and sat aginst a tree.

Takeo found Yukina and he ran to her, worried that she was hurt. "Yukina.. Yukina are you OK?" he asked, looking concerned. At that point, he didn't care about breaking his oath to himself, he just wanted to help Yukina... He felt protective of her.... At that moment, he swore to himself that he wouldn't leave her, and that he would protect her to the fullest extent of his abilities.

Masami nodded. "O..Ok... I shouldnt've said anything... I hope.. she's OK," she said softly, a tear rolling down her cheek. If anything happened to Yukina because she couldn't keep her mouth shut, she would feel terrible...

"no dont blame yourslf",Damien said softly."this has been going on for years",he said softly.As he stopped to look around.

Yukina moved away from him and only nodded as tears rolled down her face.

Takeo frowned. "What hurts? Maybe I can help," he said softly, a pained look in his eyes. Takeo could sense other people's emotions, and sometimes even feel their pain. When there was a sharp bolt of pain in his ankle, he knew it had to be Yukina's ankle that was hurt. "Is it your ankle?" he asked softly, looking concerned.

Maami nodded. "Ok... I have a feeling that Takeo's with her," she said, nodding solemly.

"He found her?",he said softly and sighed in relief."thank goodness",he said and smiled."any idea where at?,and by the way my names Damien",he said with a smile.

Yukina blinked and looked up at him in surprise but nodded."Y-yes,i think i twisted it when i fell",she said looking down.

Takeo nodded. "Ok. Hang on," he said, finding some sticks nearby and some twine in his pocket. He carefully put the sticks on either side of Yukina's hurt ankle to keep it straight, then tied it loose enough that it wouldn't cause her any additional pain, but tight enough that it wouldn't move or fall apart. "That should keep your ankle from moving. My brother had to do the same thing for me when I twisted my ankle while we were hiking." he said, trying not to cry when he mentioned his brother.

Masami nodded. "My name's Masami... This path leads towards the park, so they're probably around there somewhere.... Hang on, I'll go see if I can find them," she said, spreading her wings and flying towards the park. She quickly spotted Takeo and Yukina, and she flew back to Damien. "I found them! They're in an embankment off of the hiking path!" she said, panting from flying so fast.

Yukina stared at him."oh",se said looking at her anchale."thank you",she said softly."yor going to leave after you help me?",she asked looking down.

Damien ndded."thanks",he said smileing."want to walk with me?",he said as he walked.

Takeo shook his head. "No, not unless you want me to," he said, softly, looking at her with concern.

Masami nodded. "Sure," she said, smiling at Damien as she walked with him.

"but .. you left the other girl when you were done helping her",she said."and you might want to when you find out what i really am",Yukina said and looked down again.

Damien wmiled as they walked."do you have a place to stay?",he aske dlooking to her.

Takeo sighed. "I did, but.... She said she would be OK, and I believed her." he said softly, remembering what happened.

"Are you sure you want me to leave?" Takeo asked, looking at Masami with concern.

Masami nodded. "Yeah. I'll be ok." she said, smiling brightly at him.

Takeo nodded. "Ok.. Good-bye," he said, flying out the window.

Masami blinked. "Ok. Thank-" She stopped mid-sentance when she realized he left.

Takeo looked into Yukina's eyes. "I won't leave you unless you want me to. OK?" he said firmly, looking at her with a fierce look of determination in his eyes.

Masami shook her head. "No, I don't," she said softly, looking slightly embarrassed.

Yukina smiled at him and hugged him tightly."thank you",she whispered slightly.

Damien smiled."you have one now,you can stay with me and my sister"

Takeo blushed, and he hugged her back gently. "It's no problem at all Yukina." he said happily, smiling softly at her.

Masami's eyes widened, and she blushed darkly. "R-Really? Thank you Damien!" she exclaimed, smiling wide.

Damien smiled."its the least i can do",he said softly and smiled at her.

Yukina looked up at him."where are you staying",she asked softly.l

Masami blushed. "Still... this is probably the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me~!" she said happily.

Takeo blinked. "I'm living in the forest.. in a tent," he said, embarrassed to admit it.

Damien smiled and took her hand kissing it."your very welcome",he said then looked up."Yukina will be fine she knows how to get home from here ,shell join us shortly with your friend",he said and lead her towards his apartment.

Yukina blinked and shook her head."not any more,your staying in my bothers and mine apartment",she said and stood up.Gently takeing his hand she carefuly started to walk.

Masami blushed, and she nodded, walking with him to the apartment.

Takeo blinked, and he nodded, helping Yukina walk so she wouldn't have to use her hurt ankle that much. "Thank you... so much Yukina," he said softly, blushing darkly. "I haven't lived in an actual home.. for a long time..." he said, deeply embarrassed to admit the truth. "Someday.. I'll be able to repay you." he added, smiling softly.

Yukina looked at him.Then smiled."you dont have to",she said softly.Then stopped."but before you do,th-theres something you need to know,i-if you dont want to be my friend after this i understand its just,you should know this about my brother an I first",she said looking to him first.

Damien looked at her and smiled as they reached the large apartment.Leadeing her to the top floor,he unlocked the door and opened it for her."after you"

Takeo blinked. "I...have to tell you something too... I just hope you won't be scared of me after this," he said softly, looking into her eyes. THen he frowned. "Yukina, why wouldn't I want to be your friend?" he asked, looking confused.

Masami blushed, and she walked inside, looking around the room. "Damien.. it's beautiful," she whispered, looking around in awe.

Takeo blinked. "You are? Then... I guess it's not as bad.. as mine," he said softly, hesitating before unfurling his 10-foot wings. (They're 10 feet each!! If he goes up high enough, I'll bet he looks like an eagle. LOL) He blushed darly, looking at the ground. "Honestly... I shouldn't be alive right now..... I never believed in the whole, 'life after death' thing to be honest.. until I died and found out I had these," he said, referring to his wings. "They're kinda hard to miss," he said, chuckling sadly.
