Cassidy laughed quietly, nuzzling the wolf back playfully before he lay down. Patting his furry head, the elf yawned. "No creepy growling, alright?" she said to the wolf, brushing her red hair out of her face. "Good night." - Carlisle shook his head, his white hair sifting into his face as he did so. Seeing her worry, the werewolf merely smiled tightly. "One of the pans was still hot," he said, hating that he had to lie. "I'm alright." His brown eyes moved toward the dishes again, and he slowly started to do them, careful to keep a rag between himself and the silverware. "Thank you for your concern." - Esmme chuckled quietly, wiping her face off on her shoulder before inspecting Kijo's paw. "This is going to hurt, love." Slowly cleaning the wound, she then disinfected it . . . and then stitched it up . . . and cleaned it again before wrapping it. Despite taking a while, it was done well. "Does it feel alright?" the dark-haired woman asked as though she'd recieve an answer, inspecting the wrapped paw carefully. |
Yukina frowned."please please please let me see",she said looking worried.She didnt like seeing people get hurt.
Kijo whined as she tended his wound but once done she set her paw down and whined slightly but was able to walk alright. Hero nodded once and licked her cjeek once more before laying his head down. |
((Wow. Sorry for the massive delay! I was working on replying to all my threads when I realized this one was gone. :cry: I had to dig it up again!)) Cassidy was asleep within minutes, her head resting back against the bed, hands lingering in her lap. As long as she had been awake, the elf had stroked the wolf's fur . . . it was rather obvious when she'd fallen asleep. - The broad-shouldered male hesitated when Yukina asked to see his burns, and slowly dried his hands off before presenting them to her. A few burns marred his palms and fingers, as though he'd grabbed onto the silverware for a few seconds too long - though they weren't even warm. "I'll be fine," Carlisle said quietly, the slightest of frowns on his face. - When Hero had walked around, Esmme clasped her hands together happily. Her pale face melted into an expression of relief, and she moved to put her supplies away. "I wasn't sure if I could do it justice," she said to the wolf, moving to the kitchen to rummage around for some food. It wasn't long before she had a bowl of water set out for Hero, and she smiled slightly as she set it down for him. |

Yukina looked at them."at least let me wrap that .... and no more dish washing for you",she said gently leading him back to the couch.She ran to the bathroom and came out with gaze. Hero watched Casade sleep before sighing and also drifted off to sleep. Kijo watched Esmme walk into the kitchen , seeing the water his tail wagged and went to the bowl and started to drink the water. |
((Cassidy should remain sleeping until morning . . . unless something wakes her up. :XD)) - Carlisle seemed slightly bothered that he couldn't even do the dishes without hurting himself. In a pack, he could fend for himself. But as a human - it was a bit harder. The werewolf let Yukina lead him back into the living room, and slowly took a seat on the couch as the girl left the room. "Accursed life of a wanderer," the male growled under his breath, shaking his head in irritation. The action caused his snow-white hair to fall into his face, but Carlisle ignored it. Instead, he stared at his hands which hung before him. Elbows resting on his knees, the youth stared ahead of him, thinking. When Yukina returned, his brown eyes immediately flickered up to her face, and he leaned back so she could do what she wished. "Thank you again," he murmered, sighing quietly. - The woman watched as Kijo slurped up the water, and then moved back into the pantry to dig around for a while before returning. "I don't have much to feed you," she said, kneeling down with a small box of crackers, "but if you're hungry, I'll let you eat." |

Yukina looked up at his face and smiled."its fine ... I love to help".she said softly. Kijo looked at the crakers then at her.He shook his head whining some and nosed the box towards her and laied down watching her. |
Cassidy suddenly stiffened - she was dreaming. Tossing about for a few moments, she woke with a start, and shoved Hero away from her lap with a squeak of fright. Her bright green eyes were wide, and the elf slowly calmed herself. "I had a dream that you were human," the red-head whispered, slowly slipping back under the blanket and leaning back against the bed. Petting the wolf's head, Cassidy smiled weakly. "You tried to kill me." She shook her head, her thick hair falling over her shoulders. "I think I've read too many werewolf stories today." - A light dusting of a blush fell over Carlisle's cheeks, and he met Yukina's gaze for a few moments before slowly offering his hands to her. She was there to help - and she didn't mind. The werewolf blushed a bit darker when he thought about their current situation - alone, with no one else anywhere even close. His brown eyes moved to his burned hands, and he cleared his throat quietly before speaking. "You are very kind," he said huskily, swallowing. "I couldn't ask for better aid." - When Kijo pushed the box back toward her, Esmme smiled slightly. Sitting down on the floor not far from him, the slender woman took a cracker out of the box and nibbled on it. "Are you sure you don't want any?" she asked a few minutes later, holding out half of the small bit of food in her hand. |
