It was dawn, the time where you would expect most people to be soundly asleep. Why wouldn't they be? Most found dawn an obsenely early time to be up and about. However, the inhabitant of this room was not one of these people. The curtains had been drawn across each window, firmly blocking out any threatening penetration of darkness from outside. Inside the room every light was switched on, though they were low energy, giving a soft, cosy glow about the room. A single figure sat on the bed, hunched slightly as he leant over a small red book. There were faint dark rings beneath his eyes, they had been there for years.
The insomniac gave a slight yawn before he picked up the piece of string that served as his book mark. Shutting the book with a gentle thump, he placed it on the small table beside the bed before swinging his legs over the edge and onto the floor. He wasn't exactly eager to leave the comfort of the warm room, but if he didn't go out, try to find out more about what was happening back home, try to do something, he would probably go mad. Tommy padded to the curtains, nervously taking them in his hands. He quickly peeked through, surprised to see that the sun was already filtering light from the sky. With a smile he drew back the fabric so the sun's rays could enter the room. "Perfect time for photography" He mumbled as he quickly got dressed. Sling the camera strap over his head, he checked to make sure he had his key before hurrying out of the room so he could get outside. The cool air was refreshing against his face, bringing another smile to his lips. Tommy enjoyed temperatures like this, not too cold, not too hot. For a moment he paused, looking around with a puzzled expression. Tommy often got the feeling of being watched. It wasn't unpleasant, just a slight tingle on the back of his neck. He had become used to the sensation now, it was quite frequent. |
Calida rushed over to Jared and caught him before he fell, a triumphant grin lighting her whole face. Carrying him into his bedroom, she let him drop on the bed.
"Maybe it would be better for him to sleep in the game room, that way he'll think that he just fell asleep while playing instead of thinking that he has a creepy stalker that carried him into his room," she thought aloud, a characteristic frown replacing her smile. In truth, it did feel like she was stalking him. Wondering if every angel felt that way or if it was just her, Calida picked Jared back up and gently brought him to his game room and laid him across the couch. She then grabbed the controller and placed it in his hand. "Perfect," she whispered, taking a step back to admire her work. With him laid sloppily across the couch and the controller in his hand, Jared would most likely assume that he had fallen asleep while trying to reach his ridiculous goal. Looking at the TV, Calida noticed that the game was still on and made to turn it off, but she stopped when a sudden fancy hit her. Seizing the controller, she plopped down in front of the TV and tried to play. "I don't get it, how can this be fun?!" she thought aloud after playing for an hour and dyeing over twenty times. |
Eli sat up as she heard Tommy moving about in his home. She jumped quietly in front of his window, looking through it once he opened the shades. She usually was around him in there, but in the mornings, she couldn't help but to watch the sunrise. It gave her a break from watching him not be able to sleep. The worst part of it for her was not being able to do anything about it. She continued to the front of his home as he grabbed his camera. He did this frequently. As he left the house, she followed him, pausing as he looked around. "Does he know I'm here?" she asked herself. She didn't actually know the answer to the question. She had never heard of a case where the human knew about their guardian, but she supposed it wasn't impossible for it to happen.

After a good hour, Jared's eyes slowly opened, him disoriented and wondering what had went on. Dammit and he fallen asleep while playing? Great now the whole gaming binge was ruined. Looking down, he expected to see a controller, but found that there was none there and instead someone else had it. A girl? Her voice showed clear signs of frustration, made only funnier by the words she had spoken. He would have cracked a smile and offered to show her how to play except for the fact that...she entered his home and was playing with his game without his permission. Rubbing his eyes, he slowly propped himself up into a sitting position before tapping her on the shoulder. "Hey, yeah who the hell are you and why are you in my house playing Heavy Rain?" he asked in a crass tone.

Angel started to drift in and out of sleep. He knew Kira was now safe so he wanted to get some fresh air. Somthing made him stop. He didnt want to leave her. He loved her so much but right now he is mad at her. He cant figure out how to talk to her or what to say. His feelings are all mixed up right now. The day after he said he loved her she trys to kill herself. He just sighed and waited for somthing anything to make him feel better. |
Kira slowly started to calm down. She kept the feather in her hands, never wanting to let it go. She sat up slowly in the bed, lightly scratching the bandages around her arm. “I had a dream. It was so wonderful, yesterday replaying over and over, every time even more wonderful. But then you were being taken away. I tried to reach out and grab you but I was too late. You were gone, then everything went black and I woke up.” she looked up at the ceiling, tears dotted her eyes as she took a deep breath. “Then I woke up, I turned to see you, wanting to just see your face and you weren’t there. It freaked me out, at first I didn’t believe and thing. But then I waited, I called out. Your never came. My head started spinning and I just snapped, thinking that maybe yesterday never happened. That maybe this man, this angel that I love so dearly was not real. I felt like I was going mental. I’m so sorry, I really am. I thought if I did something to wake myself up, all that would be a dream, I would wake up in bed with you. I’m so sorry. Please if you ever can, please forgive me.” She smiled softly and then looked around, she didn’t see anything, so she laid back down on the bed, going under the covers. Whispering softly, “you don’t need to show your self, I’ve put you through enough. Please go and get some rest, this feather means so much.” She kissed the feather softly and then held it in her arms. |
Angel herd her words he started to cry. He took a few moments to himself. He started to come down. His feet touched the cold ground. It felt like he was walking on ice. He saw her as he lifted the covers. He kept himself hidden. His leggs touched hers as he lay next to her. He put a ram around her waist. He didnt need to say a word. |
Kira felt something lying next to her. Her body shivered slightly, her mind calmed down completely. “Please rest.” She whispered softly as she closed her own eyes. Keeping her fingers around the feather, she final could feel her body completely calm. “I love you..” were the last little word that escaped her lips quietly as her mind wondered into a blank slate. |
Angel layed in silence. He loved her so much but he was still a little mad at how she handled the situation. Angel layed with the girl he loved and slowly fell asleep. He could feel her move somtimes in her sleep and when she did he would whisper "im her and i love ou now sleep" |
For one of the first times ever, Kira slept without dreaming but it was still deep sleep. She could hear his voice ringing in her ears. Oh, god she knew she did stupid things, how much she wanted to make it up to him. She wished that she could so whatever it would take. She really wanted Angel to trust and love her as he did before. She hoped to god this would not harm their relationship that much. Kira's eyes opened to the sound of the hospital. nurses talking here and there, doctors running around and patients were, well doing other things. She sat up slowly, afraid she might wake Angel up, and looked around. no one was in here, so plus side to the hospital being busy at the moment. Looking down at her arms she wondered when she could go home. She was still hooked up to the drip, but she still wondered on going home. softly she hummed a little tune, laying back down on the bed. |
Angel slept for a while. He leaned over to kiss her. The floor was still cold as his feet touched it as he got up. Kira was still asleep. He hovered and went into his usual spot in all rooms. He sat in the top corrner away from the door. As Angel got into his spot she started to wake up. He smiled to himself. |
Kira moved slightly in the bed, soon to finally be completely woken up by a nurse coming into the room. Sitting up she smiled softly as breakfast come in. “thank you.” The nurse closed the door and Kira looked at the food. She moved over to the side of the bed, making room for another. “Breakfast?” |
Angel laughed to himself at the tought. 'When was the last time i had food' he asked himself. He took out a apple and tossed it on the bed. When it came into contact of the bed it came into sight. Angel smiled and wasnt sure if he should show himself yet. He was nice enofe last night to sleep with her. He hasnt forgivin her enofe to show him self yet. He took out another apple and started to eat it. |
Kira turned her head swiftly as she heard a noise on the bed. Smiling she reached over and lightly gasped the apple. She looked it over and just stared at it. She understood, she did not deserve to see him yet and she understood, she would not make a deal about it. Taking a bite out of the apple, she sighed softly. “I wonder if he eats anything else besides apples." She giggled softly as she finished the apple. |
"AAHH! WHAT THE HELL?!?!" Calida cried out, having been so totally absorbed in trying to best the game that she hadn't noticed Jared waking up. Jumping to her feet, she held the controller over her head and moved as if she was planning to chuck it at him. With an exhale, she calmed down and lowered the controller. "You know, it's not a good idea to scare people like that, you'll get in trouble," she informed Jared stoically, folding her arms over her chest. Unbeknownst to her, the tips of her white, feathery wings began to fan out, poking several inches from the sides of her back.

Angel looked as she finished her apple. He realy dosnt need to eat. Its just somthing about the apples makes him happy and feel normal. Normal....His mind sat on this idea verry often. What would he need to do to be human again? As his mind sat on this idea Kira looked as if she was talking about somthing. Angel stoped his toughts and listened to what she had to say. He wasnt mad at her much but it mad him not trust her anymore. His trust was hard to come by and verry hard to get back. |
Kira looked around and then stood up from the bed, she walked over to the bathroom but was stopped and fell backwards. Her arm was up and still attached to the machines. "Damn!" She sighed and then looked at the restroom and then at her arm. she sat down and then fiddled with her arm. slowly she pulled out the needle and then quickly ran into the bathroom. She looked into the mirror, at herself. She was a mess, a horrible mess. And what a mess she made with Angel, sighing she went to the door and closed it. Locking herself in the bathroom she stood by the mirror. Tears ran down her cheeks as she washed her face. She tried to make it look like she wasn't crying, that she had just washed her face. Her tears mixing in with the water. She truly hated herself for doing what she did, sh was stupid, childish, and dumb. Finally after she finally cleaned herself up she walked back out and into her bed. picking up the needle, she looked at her arm. "Uh oh." She had no idea on how to put it back. |
Angel started laughing when she came back out. HE had no clue how to put it back in. He was going to just leave it out but maybe she needed it. Angel was getting fed up with all this waiting in the hospital. He let his feet touch the ground. Her eyes rushed up and down his body as he showed his true Angel form. His ash-gray wings draging across the floor as he walked over to her. His body covered in white armor with gold linning. A sword at his waist. As she stared at him, he took her arms in her hands and the cuts that she had made glowed. He pulled his hands away from her arms and he was gone befor she blinked. Angel was tired of waiting and tought she had learned her lesson. It was almost night time again and he wanted to go home. The nurse button behind her bed started to blink and soon a few doctors and a handfull of nurses rushed into the room. |
Kira looked up as she heard a noise. Her eyes wide as she saw an angel. She looked him over, Angel looked so handsome, strong, and even though she would not admit it right now, he looked hot and sexy. She shook her head as she walked over to her, her eyes watched his wings. She felt him hold her arms, her eyes looking up and into his eyes. Looking down she soon saw a glowing thing. Her eyes traveled form her hand to him, but not quick enough. Soon he was gone. She blinked as she looked around the room, still holding her arms out. The nurses and doctors came in and rushed about, getting the needle back in and fixing her up. The doctor stared at her arm. “Looks like you heal fast huh my dear Kira.” “uh-huh.” Kira was still staring at the spot where Angel had left. She sat up right away and turned to the doctor. “May I go home tomorrow?” “Yes, just someone needs to sigh you out.” “kay.” Soon after everyone was gone, Kira laid down on the bed. “Who signs me out, my brothers are probably dead, my sister is dead, my parents.. don’t care.” She sighed and turned on her side. “Good night Angel, I love you, I really do.” |
Angel layed next to her still not visable. He put one arm around her waist. He whispered in her ear "Your cousin will be here tomorrow." Angel already planed on getting her out of here as soon as posible. He was going to pose as her cousin and sing her out. Last thing he wanted was her family to find out. He shut his eyes and gave her a soft kiss on her forhead. "I forgive you." He said in a hushed tone as he fell asleep. |
Kira could hear a soft and beautiful voice as she started drifting off to sleep. Her mouth parted into a small smile as she heard some clear last words before sleep consumed her. Her mind wondered in her dreaming, seeing all sorts of weird things, maybe it was the drugs the doctors had her on. Morning came along with the sound of a nurse talking with a doctor in her room. Waking up she yawned and sat up. Looking around, she looked for signs of Angel. “Your cousin is coming in to sign you out Kira.” Kira looked at the doctor with a confused look, she shook her head as they left her room. On the edge of her bed where the clothes she was wear that day. She stood up and stripped, putting the dress on she soon opened the door and walked outside. The bandages around her arms were still there just incase anything might happen. She looked around and then stood at the counter. |
An older womon came up to Kira and said "Are you ready?" Angel has come in as a 25 year old lady. He knew Kira would catch on and kira started to walk with him to the door. As they left Kira Thanked the docs and Angel waved at them. When they got out side and walk a a few blocks away the lady vanished. |
Kira smiled softly as her ‘cousin’ came in and sighed her out. Kira couldn't help to giggle softly, this was really Angel and she just couldn't help but to smile. Thanking the doctors, she smiled and walked over with the woman. They walked for a little bit and then Kira turned to see that the woman was gone. She looked around and whispered softly, “Angel?” |
All of a suden Kira was in the air. Angel lifted her up with him. His ash gray wings flowing behind him. He was in his street clothes. Angel flew high above the town. Kira tryed to say somthing but he silenced her with a quick shhh. Angel and Kira flew for a few mins. Angel touched down on the roof of the church. He put her down and said "Talk" |
Kira gasped as she was lifted into the air. Looking at the man who was hoping her up she started to talked, “Ang-“ but was cut off when he shushed her. Closing her mouth, she soon closed her eyes as well, until they landed on the church. Sitting down she looked at Angel. Hearing that one word, she looked down, ashamed. “I thought… I’m sorry.” She could not look up at his beautiful face, she did not deserve to. “The dream, you take right out of my grasp. Then I woke up and you were gone.” She took a deep breath and covered her face with her hands. “I thought you were really gone. I thought someone/something took you. I couldn’t.. It hurt.” She stopped talking and buried her hands in her legs and hands. “I’m sorry.” |
