She was tired. So tired. She didn't know his name, and she didn't know the name of the boy. And she could feel the hatred the older male had for her. The feeling itself was almost palpable. It wasn't long before she found herself asleep, or unconscious. It was surely one or the other. Her hair was tussled, and the bruises were now prominent. A large one on one side of her face, a matching one on the other, although it was a bit smaller. There was a dinner plate sized bruise on her rib cage, although you couldn't see it. Blood drooled daintily from the corner of her mouth, and even though she had tried so hard to keep from bleeding on the sheets, she couldn't help it.
She was out for a good while, occasionally stirring before slipping back into the unconscious state. [[Sorry the post is so mousy. >.>]] |
((tis fine ^^))
Kai sniffled as he listened to his father leaving. Once he left he slowly got up. He didn't care what anyone said. He was going to play with her. He climbed out of bed then quietly walked out of his room. He went to her room then opened. He quietly crept in and went to her. He frowned when she saw she was hurt. He ran and got a wet cloth. He carefully climbed onto the bed then wiped at her blood. He promised he'd help her escape and he was going to. He thought that she was tied down cause his dad was playing a game and she had gotten hurt from the bad men. He thought Yu was going to help her when she got back. 'I hewp!' he told himself then put the cloth on the bad bruise on her face and worked on getting the rope off. |
Victoria had barely felt him. Her eyes opened as she felt him tugging the rope. "No, sweetheart. You can't untie me right now..." Her voice was weak. She couldn't imagine how the small child was currently feeling with what he was seeing. "You know what would make me feel better? Why don't you go get a blanket and come lay with me?" She had to think of a way to keep the child warm, as well as safe and happy. Victoria remembered that those were the two things she craved the most when she was younger. She shifted and offered him a gentle smile. "I'm very tired, and we both need rest. So let's rest together, okay?"
|
Kai sniffled then nodded as he ran back to his room and brought back his favorite black blanket. "I shawe my bwanky!" He said smiling then climbed back into bed. He laid down next to her and covered then as best as he could with his small blanket. It covered him completly but only half of her. He smiled up at her then made sure the wash cloth was still cold. "Bad guys huwt you...you shouwd have stayed with me..." He yawned then snuggled into her side. "My fwiend..."
|
She looked down at him. "Yes, the bad men." She said, feeding into his beliefs. She allowed him to snuggle into her without a word or a sound, even though it hurt her. She swallowed again and exhaled. "But if I had stayed, we could both be hurt..." She told him, turning her head towards him, so she could keep constant watch on the small, ill child. "You can rest with me now, but you must listen to your father, little one. He loves you, and he's doing everything he can to make sure you and I stay safe. Rest now." She closed her eyes again, feeling herself drifting away once more. She smiled and nodded when he referred to her as his friend. Soon after, she drifted away again.
|
Kai wanted to say it was a lie but she looked tired. He yawned then rolled onto his back. He was happy she nodded confirming they were friends. He fell asleep with his mouth opened a little. He rolled onto his side and buried his face in the pillow in his sleep. "Mommy..." he said softly in his sleep. A single tear slid down his cheek before he went silent.
Yu returned home and sighed when he saw the door opened. 'Kai...' He walked into the room and couldn't help but smile. Kai looked so peaceful. He closed the door then went to his room and went to sleep. ((have to run brb ^^)) |
She felt a tug in her chest when he called for his mother. Yu was correct in assuming that no child should have to go without a mother. She had a hard time falling asleep at first, but once it was done, she was out for a good two or three hours. When she woke, she felt a pain ripping through her like she never had before. Her ribs had to be broken. She bit her lip, holding in the cry that she had in her throat. Her breath picked up, and she shifted a bit. These wounds shouldn't have gone this long without being cared for. At first glance, they didn't seem serious, but he had been so ridiculously angry when he had kicked her. Maybe she had put herself in a disagreeable position. She tugged a bit at the ropes, scraping the wounds against the ropes before wincing and stopping. There was nothing she could do but lay there and hope it passed. It didn't, but she did everything she could to keep from waking the child.
|
Kai woke up when she shifted. He frowned when he saw she looked like she was in so much pain. He quickly got up and started working on the knots. He got one arm free then got off the bed and ran to the other side of the bed then climbed up and got to work on the other. "You otay?" he asked worriedly as he finally got her free. He was worried he'd lose another friend. He sniffled then whimpered. "Want me to get daddy?"
|
She cursed herself mentally, but as soon as she was free, she shot into a sitting position, gripping her ribs and coughing. She tried standing, but immediately collapsed. "I, I'm fine, sweetheart..." She lied. Her forehead was pressed to the ground and she gasped for air here and there. She had been holding her breath, although she hadn't even realized it. She closed both hands into fists. She covered her mouth to cough again. She looked at the pale form that had covered her mouth. Blood. Of course. She gritted her teeth. "Ge-- get your father..." She couldn't play tough anymore. She couldn't deny that this needed to be taken care of. She swallowed.
|
Kai panicked when she fell. "Don't die!" he cried then ran out of the room. "Daddy~!" he screamed as he ran into Yu's room. Yu shot up then quickly sat up. He picked up the crying boy then held him close. "Hewp hew Daddy!!!!" Yu quickly stood up and ran back to her room. He put Kai down then gently rolled her over making sure not to move her more than he needed to. He mentally flinched at how bad she looked.
"I'm so sorry..." he said then gently brushed hair out of her face. "What hurts? I'm not much of a doctor but if you tell me what to do I can do it...and if you need an ambulance I can get that for sure," he joked weakly. Kai was still crying. He thought of her almost like another mom. In his mind he clung to any mother kind of figure and when she was nice to him he thought she was his new mom. |
She gripped his pant leg. "Everything." She hissed through her gritted teeth. She did this to herself. She glanced over at the small child. "Don't worry, little one. I'm not going anywhere, I'm just not feeling..." She had to stop and swallow, "Not feeling well... Why don't you go play with your toys for a few minutes...?" Regardless of what the child did, she found her back arching and her grip on his tightening as another pain shot threw her. "They're.... they're broken. My ribs..." She certainly did look worse for wear.
She found herself relaxed a little more as her body relaxed. Her chest rose and fell with heavy breaths. "I didn't think it was serious, but maybe..." Another swallow, "Maybe that's because I was stationary. I can fix it, but I need... your help." She forced herself into a sitting position and gritted her teeth to suppress a cry. "I can't do it with him here. He doesn't need to see it... I'm going to scream." That was a guarantee. Broken ribs were a pain to fix. More so than they were to have. |
Kai shook his head. "I wanna stay with mommy..." he said whimpering. Yu frowned then nodded at her. "She's not your mommy Kai," he said softly then gently picked him up. He held him close as Kai started screaming and he started walking out of the room. "Shh. I have to make mommy better okay? How about you wait in your room and when she's feeling better we can play with her okay?" Kai calmed down then nodded.
Yu smiled weakly then laid him in the bed. "Don't move no matter what okay?" Again another nod. "Good boy." He turned on the music then left shutting the door behind him. He went back to her room then kneelled down next to her. "What do I do?" Kai was sitting on the bed sniffling. "Mommy..." he cried softly then laid down. He waited. He'd wait forever if he could just see her again. |
She had taken off her shirt, and was sitting there in a black push-up bra. She had an amazing figure. It would have been better without the bruise, but that was easily looked passed. "I broke them about a few weeks ago and shifted them back. I guess it slid back out in the fight." She said fight as if she had even tried to fight back. She Used the wall to stand and pulled him towards her, placing his hands on either side of her waist. "Don't let me fall, and don't let me arch or bend my back. I could punc--" She stopped to catch the cry. "Puncture something." Her skin was warm and sooth, like silk.
She took a deep breath putting either hand on one side of her ribs, feeling to see which ones were broken, making a few sounds here and there. It was just one, good. It was still going to hurt, but it was better than multiple. She felt to make sure she had a decent grip before jerking both hands to snap her rib back with it's counterpart. A loud crack was heard and the scream tore through the house. Her legs went out from under her and her hands gripped his wrists tightly enough to make her knuckles white. If he had kept her straight and up like she had asked, everything would be fine. She coughed, sending a bit of blood spraying onto his shirt and on her chest. "Fuck... sorry..." She had tried to avoid that. She was calming, and though the pain was still there, it was easing. Her head was back against the wall and her eyes were tightly closed. |
Yu had nodded and held her up just like she asked him to. He frowned wishing he had never kicked her. He smiled weakly then relaxed when she was calming down. "You okay?" he asked though he felt stupid asking it. 'Duh she's not' He didn't really care about the blood. "Don't worry about the blood. It's all good. Can you lay down or do you have to stay standing?"
Kai covered his ears when she screamed. His eyes were closed tight. He moved closer to the music pulling a blanket and hid under it. He just wanted to hide. He was crying again. He thought that she was dying despite what they kept saying. He hoped she'd come soon and say they were just playing. "mommy..." |
She stood there, her hands gripping his wrists. "Don't move, not yet..." She reached over to her shirt. Previously, you had been able to see the rib, now her rib cage looked normal. She nodded, indicated he could let go. She leaned forward a bit to gauge whether or not she had done a decent job in fixing it. She slid her shirt back on when she didn't feel the rib slip out of place.
She sat back against the headboard, pulling out her phone and calling Samantha off. Samantha probably hadn't been looking for her anyway. She ran her fingers through her hair. She was surprised that he could still feel so tender. She looked up at him. "You should know, I apologize for anything I said of your wife, but I had no other strings to pull. This had to happen..." She spoke, rather weakly. She thought about the child. She shifted, slowly, and rose from the bed. "I'll be fine." She lied. She was fine for now, but that wasn't to say something couldn't go wrong. The blanket was tugged off of him and she crouched, with a smile. She had washed all of the blood away, and she reached out, wiping the tears away with her thumb. "Now, little one, why the tears? I'm fine. I promise you. I told you I would be, sweetheart. Now, what do you want to play?" And though she shouldn't be up and moving, what damage could a small child do? |
Yu watched from the door way. He didn't want to interfere knowing that Kai was really upset. He didn't want kai to actually start hating him. Kai sniffled as he looked up. He smiled weakly then reached up and hugged her leg knowing that her chest hurt. "I wanna eat..." he said softly as he sniffled more. He stood up then held up a small bear. "For mommy." he said softly and shyly.
Yu frowned then sighed. He wanted to tell him that she wasn't his mom but he didn't want to upset him. He hoped she didn't mind. "How about a picnic in the living room?" he asked and Kai nodded. "I wanna make mommy food~!" he squealed then ran out of the room. He ran to the kitchen then opened the fridge. He had made a few sandwiches the other day for Yu and a bunch for himself but he wanted to share. He tried to pull the plate out but he couldn't reach. He dragged a chair over then climbed up on it. He smiled as he pulled the tray out then put jumped down. He put them on the table then looked up the stairs waiting for them. |
She winced, hearing the words again. She patted his back lovingly as he hugged her leg, and took the bear. She held the bear as they walked down the stairs. She wasn't comfortable with the child calling her 'Mommy', but that was discomfort she was willing to overlook for the sake of it being the right thing to do. She looked up at Yu, imagining how he felt, his child calling a hostage 'Mom'. She settled down, slowly and tried to get comfortable, her head leaning back on the back of the couch and the bear in her lap.
|
Yu followed Victoria then sat next to her. "You can tell him you know. I think it would be best...I don't know how long you're going to be staying...I just got a second job so I don't need to have you as a hostage anymore...I'll just get the money the regular way...and if you don't tell him now when you disappear it will only make it worse and he'll be crushed..." Yu smiled when Kai came over giggling with the sandwiches. He gave one to both of them then smiled waiting for them to eat it. Yu ate some then smiled weakly. "Um...what is in this son?"
Kai giggled. "Peanut buttew and cweam chease!" he giggled. "Wike it? I wan out of jewwy but this one has some!" About half were cream cheese and peanut butter and half was jelly and peanut butter. |
She quirked a brow and found herself laughing. She ate it aboslutely straightfaced, even though inside she was lurching. She glanced over at Yu, and found the expression on his face hilarious. She stood, and ruffled Kai's here. "Come here, squirt. We need to talk." She guided him to the base of the stairs and crouched down, brushing the hair from his face. "I'm not your Mommy, sweetheart. I can never replaced your Mommy, okay? But I am your friend. All yours. But I can't stay forever..." She said, sadly. She cupped the face of the small child and ran her fingers through his hair. "And don't be sad, okay? And be sweet to your dad. He's trying." She said with a smile and a laugh.
Once that conversation was done, she stood and dragged Yu off to speak to him. "You're not getting it. I am part of one of the most well known Mafia families in the world. If the loan sharks see that you can do this kind of damage to me, and they do know who I am, they will leave you alone. But you have to keep this up, alright? Quit playing nice guy. It's no good playing the nice guy when the guys you're fighting against aren't nice. You can convince them that you're keeping me hostage, or you can convince them that you're fucking me. Pick one." She said with her arms crossed. |
Kai sniffled when she said she wasn't his mommy. He whimpered when she walked away. He was hurt. He cried softly as he ran up the stairs. He hid under his bed and slowly cried himself to sleep. He wanted his mommy back. He coughed weakly as he slept.
Yu couldn't help but smile. "I'd rather them think I was fucking you," he said keeping a smile on his face. He was being completely serious. He wouldn't mind actually dating her. She was hot and he had the biggest crush on her. Yu looked over to where Kai use to be then frowned. "I hope Kai calms down. He thinks that every women in the house is his mother..." |
She had to block it from her mind. She didn't enjoy hurting children. Adults, yes, absolutely. Children, no, not at all. She stopped herself from following after the child. He would be upset with her, but she couldn't have him getting comfortable in the business she was in.
She quirked a brow at his comment. That was amusing, and not at all what she was expecting. She heard him speak of his child and gripped his chin, forcing his gaze to return to her. "Let him be upset for now. We can't come running to his rescue, as that will make him think we were joking. Let him be, and focus on me for now." She reached up with her free hand and brushed the hair from his face. "Do you think you could handle a Mafi-ette?" It was a serious question. Victoria was as rough in a relationship as she was on the street. But she was very well off. |
Yu smiled as he nodded. "I'm not sure but I really wouldn't mind it at all. You're very nice looking and maybe after you got use to me then we could date?" he asked smiling. He was a little worried about Kai though. He couldn't help it. Kai got sick too easily. He sighed then moved a bit closer to her. "So what do you say?"
Kai didn't sleep for long. He crawled out from under the bed then whimpered. He felt sick. "Mommy..." he whimpered weakly. He went back to Victoria's room and crawled onto it. He wrapped himself in the blanket then curled into a ball. "I don't fell good.." he said softly. |
She shifted towards him as he stepped towards her. Her hand reached up and fussed with his hair a bit. No harm in flirting with your captor. She let a grin snake across her face and she leaned a little closer. "I don't know... you seem a bit too nice for me..." Her warm breath tickled his face, her lips inches from his. "Can you show me you can be a little rough...?" Just as she thought to press her lips forward, she heard movement upstairs.
She pulled back and glanced towards the stairs. She let her hands fall and headed in that direction, finding him curled up in the room she was held in. She leaned over, concerned. "What's wrong, sweetheart?" She reached forward and pressed a hand to his forehead. "Are you alright, little one...?" |
Yu was about to kiss her before she pulled way. He sighed then followed. He frowned when he saw Kai on her bed. "Kai what are you doing?" Kai leaned into her hand before he sat up. He moved away whimpering before he threw up. He started crying loudly when he realized he threw up on his blanky. Yu quickly picked him up then felt his forehead. "You're a bit warm...you should have told me Kai. Don't worry. How about you relax with your friend while I wash your blanky okay?" Kai calmed down a bit then reached for her. Yu gave him to her then took the blanket and sheets off the bed. "I'll be right back. He smiled then walked out of the room. He put the sheets in the washing machine then headed back to them.
|
Victoria had brought a wastebasket over for the child and cradled him against his chest, rubbing his back when he got sick. "You should always tell your father when you're not feeling well, little one..." She had him between her legs, cradled gently against her chest, stroking his hair. "Rest, little one, when you wake you will feel better... I know it's scary, but you're alright..." She thought it was more than likely what he had eaten that made him sick. When the child calmed, she carried him to his room and handed him the bear he had given her. "Sleep. I will be here when you wake, and if you need help, you call for your father and we will come, understand?" She tried to discourage any thoughts the small child would have about her being his mother, but she couldn't seem to discard the fact that the toddler wasn't feeling well. Affection during these times were important to children.
