The man grinned as he saw Lucas' reaction to his words and actions. He retrieved a gun from his pocket then paused for a moment and grinned devilishly as he stepped to the side slightly so you could see a small girl sleeping leaned against the house. Mayku pulled her eyes away from the man to the little girl and she couldn't help the tears that started slowly falling from her eyes. "Neko" Mayku murmured seeing the child that she had not seen in almost four years.

Lucas saw the little girl and knew he had to get her back for Mayku. "Don't worry....I will get her for you." he whispered and nuzzled her cheek. He growled at the man again. "Why are you here?" he said never taking his arm away from Mayku.

"I was sent to retrieve Mayku and Moky and bring them back to camp unharmed. I was assured nothing too horrible would befall them and that Mayku would not be sent out on another mission until Neko was older." The man said the grin gone now. He was not joking anymore he truly prayed that they would not harm ether of the twins.

"Well you arn't getting them." Lucas said and pulled Helleina to him. "Can you go and get the little baby?" he whispered and Helleina nodded. She levitated the little kid and brought it to them. She gave it to Mayku. Lucas pulled Moky closer and glared at the man.

(Neko was the same age if not a little younger/older then Helleina)
Mayku couldn't help the motherly smile that came onto her face when she was finaly holding her dobter her baby once more after her arms were hollow for so long. The man scouled at Lucas as Neko was pulled away from him though put his gun away. He could not shoot, his dobter was over there now and he couldn't bare the thought of hurting her. |
"Now leave before I kill you." Lucas said glaring. He held Mayku more protectively. He looked at her and smiled seeing her so happy. "don't worry..he wont hirt you or your daughter." he whispered and kissed her temple.Helleina smiled and walked over to Mayku. "Aww she is so cute." she said happily forgetting the situation they were in.

Mayku smiled and looked down at Helleina. "Thank you." She said softly to the young girl. She wondered quietly the age difference of the two children but was torn from the thought as she looked at the man again. "Please I would rather be killed by an honerable man then the man I shall face if I return without the twins or Neko." the man said softly as he lowered his eyes to the groand making them apear almost closed.

"Then go. You will never get them." Lucas growled. He stayed his ground and held the twins protectively in each arm. He wasn't going to lose them. If he let them go he would never see Mayku again and Helleina would never see Moky again. He didn't want Helleina to be sad when she was just getting happy.Helleina smiled then turned back to the man. "Go away. You awe not going to huwt Mayku and Moky and baby." she said trying to get mad at him but just couldn't so she facked a frown.

Mayku and Moky shook their heads "No Lucas. He's saying what we said. When we met you. He doesn't want to die. By the hands of. Our leader." The twins said resuming their rolls as they took turns speeking again as. They looked first at the man and then up to Lucas.

"Ok but he isn't staying with us." Lucas said. "I am sure we could find a spot where he can hid. Like you guys with me." he said kissing Mayku's cheek the Moky's head. He wasn't going to let this guy be with his family. Not when he did what hhe did to Mayku. He wasn't chancing it to happen again or to either Moky or Helleina.

Mayku frond, she did not like the idea of this man being anywhere near them more or less living. She doubted highly that he would let this go and thought even less of him honoring the decision. Moky was with Mayku in this perspective, she had no compassion for this man and would have loved to kill him herself for what he did to her sister. He didn't try to do anything to her or the other girls in the camp just Mayku and that confused her greatly. Why was Mayku the only one he targeted? Why did she mean so much to him? Moky didn't have the answers to these questions though she didn't know if she wanted to know truthfully.

Lucas growled. "Leave or I will kill you." he said and lighting flashed though there wasn't a storm coming.

"Go ahead... Kill me I won't have any better of chances anywhere else." The man said no true feeling in his voice or expression. He was serious, he did not wish to return to the camp and he did not want to take any chances of his leader finding the twins or Neko. "I would rather die to someone honorable then be killed by someone who had no emotions and cared nothing for humanity... I do not wish to lead the trackers here and take a chance of ruining Neko's life... That was never my plan. I did not want to hurt the twins I wanted to bring Mayku back for Neko and Moky for Mayku. I had no intention of hurting either of them." The man said looking Lucas in the face with nothing but honesty and regret in his.

"Oh if you are trying to protect them then why did you get MAyku pregnant?" Lucas spat. He didn't like this guy at all. WHy couldn't he just leave Neko with Mayku and go away and never come near them ever again?

"I was young and stupid at the time and didn't realy think of how it would affect her... I didn't mean to get her pregnant I truly didn't... It just happened." the man said honistly thinking back to the guilt he felt when he found out... After that however he did not willingly lay a hand on Mayku.

"Yeah right. Like you didn't know." Lucas growled. He would never make love to a girl thinking there wasn't a chance she was going to get pregnant. "Moky if you want to kill him go right a head." he whispered to her.

Moky looked up at Lucas her eyes soft though she had the look of almost longing for the mans death. "I don't know if I could." she said softly almost a wisper. She closed her eyes for a moment consintrating hard on something. She gasped slightly as the man fell to the groaned and reopened her eyes. She leaned against Lucas unable to speak or move as what she had just done she had only done a few times before.

Lucas smiled and looked at Mayku. "She is beautiful" he whispered. He then looked at Moky. "that was amazing." he said.

Mayku smiled down at Neko. "Thank you." she murmured softly not wanting to wake up her sleeping child. Moky was unresponsive as she tried to stay awake as she started to black out. "We might want to get her inside her body isn't quite used to that power... And we also might want to get his body as far away from here as posible." Mayku said looking over at the man still with death, it sent small shivers down her spine to see someone dead.

Lucas nodded and picked Moky up. "Helleina could you put him in the river?" he asked walking into the houes.Helleina nodded and levitated the body to the river. She quickly ran back to the house. She ran up to Mayku. "How old is she?"

Moky groaned slightly as she let her eyes shut. Soon she was sound asleep and breathing a little heavily. "She just turned four." Mayku said with a smile as she sat down in the first comfy arm chair she saw. She looked down at Neko and prayed she would wake up soon so she wasn't so woried about her not waking up.

"Oh she is just a yeaw yougew then me" Helleina said happily.Lucas laid Moky on a bed then walked out to MAyku. HE stood behind the chair and smiled at the little girl.

Neko yowned and slowly opened her soft oringe eyes. Right when she saw who was holding her she latched her small dangly arms around Mayku's neck. Mayku couldn't help the tears that slowly slid down her cheeks as she hugged her doubter back for the first time in three years. "I missed wou mommy." Neko said in a soft sqqeeky voice. "I missed youtoo my little Neko." Nayku whispered softly.

Lucas smiled and knelt next to MAyku and rubbed her back lovingly. He whipped her tears and then kissed her head. "Hi Neko. I am Lucas. A really good friend of your moms." he said softly.Helleina gave a squeal. She couldn't believe Neko was only a year younger then her. "And I am Helleina." she said happily.

Neko looked at Lucas then Helleina and pulled her arms around Mayku's stomach so she could hide her face in her chest sheepishly. "Neko." Mayku sighed with a small smile as she pulled Neko's face up to look at her. "You don't have anything to be scared of here. No one's going to hurt you, these people are nice they helped me and aunt Moky." She said softly to the young girl but she just hid her face once more though peeked at Lucas every now and then.
