Dorian tried to recall any times he may have seen a vampire, but he could only remember the nights where he was out alone--or at least he couldn't see the other people roaming the neighbourhood. "I don't know... I only remember the streets being empty, I mean, there may have been one or two people out every few nights..." He thought a while longer as Gwen continued to ask him questions. "Wait, vampires can erase memories?" He was shocked, since he didn't know much about the vampire 'myth' "I guess it is possible... but... I don't really think I was... well, there was last week when mother asked me where I had been all night--I couldn't remember anything besides the trip to and from the grocery store..."
The conversation paused for a minute or two as they reached nearer Dorian's house.

"Umm..Sure."She said quietly,thinking of how the stranger danger rule mite apply to this.

Maria noticed the girls fear or attentiveness and said, " You don't have to worry, I'm not here to do anything bad to you. So you can relax. Maria paused for a moment to see the girls reaction. What's you name?" While she asked she seen, a vampire, in which she clearly recognized because she was one, and a young handsome boy coming their way.

Hmmm, i wonder if she knows that the boy is my prey. i mean after all, we did have a good time together. Me drinking his blood and him not remembering a thing. He is such a cute boy, maybe I'll talk to him..... Maria thought to herself while Waiter for a response.

Gwen suddenly felt a lump form in the back of her throat. "You..." She stopped and swallowed, "You don't remember anything other then that? Not even a slight oddness that might have happened? Nothing at all?"
Gwen blinked as Dorian shook his head no. She didn't like the feeling she was getting at all....not one bit. It scared her and it took a lot to scare Gwen.
'Maybe...maybe I can search his memories for anything. Maybe the vampire just blocked the memory, but it's still there.....I would be able to find it, but that would mean....'
Gwen turned to Dorian, "I might be able to find the memory if I search for it. It might be possible that if you were fed off of, the vampire may have blocked the memory from you so you can't remember it. If that's the case, I'll still be able to see it, but it would mean......it would mean I'd have to....to bite you....." Gwen finished, her face flushing beat red.

Dorian looked at Gwen with a confused face. "So only you would be able to see my memory? ... that's weird." He contemplated for a moment whether or not to allow Gwen to bite him, and as they drew nearer to his mother's house he decided. "Okay. When I come back like I promised I would, we can do it then." They reached the front door as he finished his sentence. "Right now I have to eat dinner, though,I'll be back in a few minutes!" He reassured her while he turned the doorknob and swung open the door.
"Mom, I'm back!" Dorian announced as the door closed behind him.
"Oh you're finally back! I was so worried something got you!" Mrs. Molko cried.
"No, mom, nothing got me, like I said, there's nothing to worry about."
He handed her the grocery bag and they began to cook.

Gwen, is that your name? im sure it is. My name is Maria. And your messing with my prey. Or in other words, my friend. i have heard your conversation with this boy, and it was very interesting. If you really want to know more about his past, both of you come to the corner store again and meet me there. Don't worry it's not a trap. just meet me there. And if not, well.... Lets not have that. Maria Thought to Gwen in her mind, while still waiting for the girl to respond.

Gwen stopped dead in her tracks as a female voice -not her own- echoed through her head. Immediately she spun around and began probing the area, sending out her telepathy to its maximum range.
'Look chicky, I don't know who you are and quite frankly I don't care, but you are not going to threaten me! He may be a human, but that doesn't mean you can feed off him whenever you please. At least have enough courtesy to let him keep his memories! If you are so intent on meeting in person, I'll meet you there, but leave Dorian out of this, got it?! Oh, and I'll be there after I find out what you've really hidden in his memories. He's not just your prey....or friend. Technically, he's free to anyone, but at least I had the decency to ask first.'
Gwen was beginning to feel frustrated, especially since she'd picked out who the voice belonged to and was disgusted to find out that this vampire was younger then her....much younger.
'You've got some nerve starting anything with me. You have no clue what you're getting yourself into, but let me tell you that if you keep it up, you will not like the outcome!!'
And with all that said, Gwen cut off the telepathic link with a blast of vicious power; enough that it made birds nesting in the trees screech and fly away. She gave herself a little half smile, figuring that had gotten her point across loud and clear.

She has no idea what she is getting into. If she even cared about the boy, she would understand that scent he has on him. But clearly she doesn't And what was that like gust of wind, ha! Pathetic. Maria. thought to her self, after the girls, little burst. Then She waved her hand in the air and spoke to Dorians mind, while blocking the way for Gwen to interfere.
Hey you, boy! Yes you, the one who is helping his mom. I have been watching you for years , and i must tell you of what is to come for you. But you must meet me at the store, you just came from. Your friend Gwen, doesn't know what will happen if she does something or tries to find something in you that should be found.I know this may seem weird but i have to let you know. Oh, by the way, i may have feed on you a couple of times,. But that was for a reason, that i will tell you later ok? Bye i Have to go PLEASE meet me, i'lll be waiting.

Gwen hissed and began pacing on Dorian's front porch in frustration. She couldn't believe this!
'I already knew I wasn't the strongest vampire in the city, but that blast of power should have made the person drop dead....literally! Something, somewhere should have fallen to the ground dead.....What's going on with me?' she thought confused. 'Maybe...maybe it's just because I haven't fed yet tonight. Yeah, that's probably it.....'
Gwen sighed, 'Dorian, please don't take much longer. Something's come up and it's going down hill very quickly..... I really need to talk to you.....

Dorian had just finished eating and was collecting the dishes when he heard someone talking to him.
"Mom, did you hear that?" He asked, confused and a little uneasy.
"Hear what? It was probably just the T.V." His mom replied, standing near the sink, ready to wash the plates.
"Okay... Well I think I forgot something outside, I'll be back in a bit."
"Alright, I'll probably be asleep."
Dorian put on a light jacket and walked back outside, finding Gwen pacing furiously before him. He stood still for a moment, waiting for her to notice him, though she could probably smell him a mile away.
"Is everything okay?" He asked, though he was sure something was definitely not okay. "I think I left something at the store..."

Gwen stopped and looked at Dorian. "You think you left something at the store or you know you left something at the store? Are you thinking for yourself or is it someone else that's telling you to go back....influencing you to go back?"
When Dorian gave her a funny look, Gwen sighed. "Dorian, you've been fed on. By another vampire named Maria. She can...influence you whenever she wants to now. That's why you're thinking you left something at the store, because she wants you to go back."
Gwen swallowed and swayed slightly on her feet. Now she was really beginning to feel the craving hanging around her like a thick cloud. It was making her feel sick. She needed something now, but she didn't want Dorian to feel like he was threatened in any way. She needed to take care of this problem first....hopefully she could put the hunger off for that long.

Pure had been watching Katie for the last few months now. He deeply admired her and would die to meet her, but kept to himself in fear of scaring her. While he was watching her from the sky with dreamy eyes, he felt a strange pulse, followed by a huge shock wave. He gripped his ears tightly and cringed. 'Ah! What is that!?' he thought to himself before passing out, falling from the sky, and landing in one of the bushes close to the swing Katie was on with a thud. The shock wave was certainly made to hinder someone else, but founds it's way to hurt him instead.

"I guess... I don't know..." Dorian replied, scratching the back of his neck in contemplation. He looked over in the direction of the grocery store then back at Gwen. "No, I guess I didn't bring anything to the store to forget in the first place, and we already made dinner, so I couldn't have forgotten to buy something..."
He noticed Gwen acting strangely, but he was unsure as to why. "Oh!" Dorian suddenly remembered their plan to find out what happened to him a few days ago. "So, you say I was fed on by another vampire? But why?" He thought for a moment and recalled Gwen's statement about being able to see his memories.
"Could you tell me what happened, then?" He asked, offering his neck to Gwen, not realizing how foolish that could turn out to be.

Maria felt that there was another vampire around so she spoke to his mind.
Hello....Pure... My named is Maria are you ok? I felt your presence from the time you came near.Oh and the little blast you felt is nothing to worry about.

Pure woke to the sound of a voice inside his head. 'Easy for you to say,' he thought. His head throbbed and he brought his hand to his temple to help alleviate the pain. He hopped over the fence and stumbled on the way down. His vision blurred and split everything into threes. He was glad he didn't get hit by that in a fight. It would ensure death... When he regained his thoughts and body, he looked around for the other vampire who spoke telepathically to him.

Maria waved and telepathed "hey over here." Of course smiling the whole time

Pure's eye found her and he smiled as well. She looked very pretty too, but he didn't have a small tinge of fear in the back of his mind. He sensed her power; it was far greater than his. He slowly walked to meet her, a little apprehensive.

" Hey," Maria smiled, " So what you been up to?" then she paused for a moment. " Oh, excuse my manners, my name is Maria.nice to meet ya."

Pure didn't exactly feel like admitting to her that he was stalking a human he found attractive. It would be a huge embarrassment. "Umm, just enjoying the night air. I somehow doubt that you are here for the same reason," he said with a questioning tone. 'I don't think I should be trying her good mood. It might not end well..."

" I'm not, here for the reason you just said, but i'm here trying to get this human to listen to me, but this other vampire is not letting me. She thinks i'm trying to kill him or something. But i'm not, i'm just trying to warn the human of the other vampires after him. any ways.... what's the real reason your here?" Maria babbled.

Pure knew he wasn't going to get out of it now. "I was stalking someone I think I like," he said sheepishly. He started to count how many seconds it took for her to start laughing and/or calling him names. It really was sad that he stooped to those low levels.

Gwen stared at Dorian's neck longingly. She was really hungry, but she couldn't risk missing anything from the other vampire's conversation. But maybe if she only took a little....
Slowly, Gwen moved closer to Dorian. "You have to relax okay? If you struggle or try to resist, it'll hurt really bad. If you stay relaxed and calm, it may actually feel nice." she said quietly as she placed her hand on the back of his head.
Opening her mouth, she felt her teeth extend and grow sharper....then, she bit down.
'I wonder if he'll try to reach out and touch my mind with his....' she thought to herself as Dorian put his hands on her hips, as if in a trance. 'His eyes are probably glazed over. There's no way he'll try to push away now. I've got to be careful not to take too much.'

Maria see what Gwen had done and yelled throw telepathy," NO! you shouldn't have done that. Now yo9ur in Trouble. If you thought i was strong boy are you're in for a whirl wind of trouble" Maria looked over at Pure and said, " The girl you were stocking is in some big trouble."

Pure looked at her with an confused expression. "I don't think we are talking about the same girl," he muttered inaudibly. He could hear both the vampire's thoughts and exchange of threats and it made him fell uneasy. He sighed and walked away into the city, not wanting to get involved with the eminent cat fight. It wasn't his problem and he wanted it to stay that way. The last thing he wanted to do was to be pitted against the person who nearly killed him with a shock wave.

"Hey, Pure where are you going?" Maria yelled, and ran after him. " I don't want to be alone. Please stay" Maria siad this in such a sweet voice, it seemed impossible.
