L twisted around in his seat at hearing the door to the dark little theater open with a creak. In walked the police chief's son, the ever eager young detective Light Yagami. He watched as the young man paused a moment before his eys found L in the dark and made his way over to him. Light had a very confident air, something that intrigued L tremendously.

Once Light came within a few paces of L, the darker haired man stood to greet him, offering his hand.
