Haylie stopped and spoke seriously, "I don't know, but I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen there. Unless we find out what it is." the girl ran with Isabella following her, "Come on lets go!" she shouted. "We're superheroes right? We should find out what's going on and save the world!"

Isabella caught up,now in her serious un-giddy mood.She hated being young because no one would ever tell her what was going on.So this is why she would always find a way to figure out on her own or with haylie what was going on.

Vince went with Bella and Katie to eric's house. Vive went around back, and climbed througgh a window. He unlocked the front door to let Katie and Bella in. "Ok, lets start searching"

Soon Haylie and Isabella caught up with the trio, "I wonder how we could sneak in?" Haylie wondered out loud. The little girl looked for things to go in the house without the trio noticing. But gave up and went in the front door.

Katie walked around and soon found Eric's bedroom.She searched his room and out of boredom sat on the bed,feeling a sharp feeling on her back as she laid down..like a large book or something.She pulled the book out of under the pillows and opened it.She read the first page.

Today is my first day in the new world.It's strange being the only scientist here while all the others are at earth like I should be.But, I have to raise the children to believe there from here while everyone on earth perishs or hides underground.But, my college Dr.James told me before I left to bring all the children back to earth at the year 2023.That way they will all be old enough to start humanity again and help with rebuilding the world.I write all of these down in fear that something might happen to me..a few people have been threatening to kill me and I plan to pass this to the Mayor.I hope to bring the children back a few days before 2023 with the ship I brought all of them here in.Earth should be healthy again by the time we come.As soon as we get there I will search for survivors.

Katie looked at the book."But..2023 is coming up in about a week..someone must have not wanted us to go home.."She mumbled looking at the picutres of Earth being destroyed.She just saw darkness and fire on the pictures with buildings falling down."Vince!"She called.

Isabella followed Haylie and heard katie yell for Vince."Whats going on..?"She wondered.

Vince ran into eric's room when Katie called for him. "What is it? Have you found something?"

"Read this."Katie said quietly,handing the book to Vince.

"I don't know, let's go follow Katie's voice." whispered Haylie, she quietly ran up the stairs and found Eric's room. She stood by the door trying not to be seen. She saw Isabella coming up, "Hurry up." Haylie whispered.

Isabella caught up and listened quietly outside of the door hooping to hear something.

Vince read the book, and was shocked. "This is serious. Do you think the mayor had something to do with this?" Vince then heard a noise outside the room. "Who's there? Show yourself!"

"Aw he found us," whispered Haylie,"Hey Vince, you know you can be a great seeker at hide n' seek." Haylie walked in the room, smiling sheepishly. "We were curious, we didn't want to be left out. So we followed you. I'm sorry."

Isabella nodded and sat on Vinces lap,taking the book and tossing it Haylie after reading it.

Katie sighed."So where from a different world.."She breathed."I wonder where his ship is..."

Haylie's eyes widened while she was laying on the floor, "N-no w-way" she stuttered, "Katie does that mean we're aliens?" she asked. Then she tossed the book back to Katie.

"No..I guess were from the real..true world..one that dosent seem to take pills all the time."Katie said looking at Haylie.

Isabella sighed looking at the second page."Whats reproduction? Eric says it a lot on this page."She said looking at them,she was serious since most peopel on this world were so unknowing of things.

"No, we are not aliens. It says we're humans, and that our homeworld is in ruin. Apparently, we were supposed to go back. But without those pills, we may not last past the next month" Vince paused when the reproduction question came up. "Uh, your a bit too young to know about that"

Katie sighed."Isabella..I think it's about time I take you home so you can get some sleep.You guys can come to if you want but...Isabella shouldn't be up this late."

"But!"Isabella whined.

"No buts. We all have to get out here. We don't want to be caught by the enforcers"

"Katie can I sleep over at your house tonight?" Haylie asked quietly, too shocked to be all hyper and cheery again. She walked over and grabbed Isabella's hand, "Please Katie? I think Isabella wants me to, too. Right Izzy?"

Isabella nodded."Please sis? I really want Haylie to stay!"She said with a pouty face.She always wanted to call haylie a nickname but couldnt think of one.

Katie nodded."Of course you can stay."She said with a smile then she looked at Vince."You can stay to if you want."She said looking at him before a moment before turning and looking at the girls.

"Come on Vince! Please? We need a man in the house to protect us or something." Haylie begged, she squeezed Isabella's hand and grabbed Vince's. "Please?"

"Yea please?!"Isabella asked with her cute pouty face."Katie needs you too."

Katie blushed."Isabella..If he dosent want to stay he dosent have too."

"Well...ok, I'll stay here and protect you guys" Vince looked up and gave Katie a smile.

Katie smiled and found Bella quickly,walking all of them back to her small home.She started a fire after getting everyone inside and watched Isabella talk to Haylie.

Isabella jumped on her bed in the corner."This is my bed Haylie!"She said with a smile,jumping as high as she could.

Katie sat down in front of the fire,staring at it silently.

Nathaniel went by Vince's house, but he wasn't home so he decided to go see if he was hanging out over at Katie's house. He had some interesting news to tell them that he had overheard from a conversation that some adults were having. After a little bit he reached Katie's house and knocked on the door.
