THE END OF THE WORLD.


When scientists suddenly found out about the end of the world coming in 2012 they began coming up with an escape to it.Hoping that there plan would work out better then Earth itself they began to choose children as soon as they were born.But not the weak ones,they would only pick the best specimans to go to the new world.The scientists watched the children grow until 2012 happened, making most of the children they picked only about 18 months old.When this happened the scientists took the children to there HQ and sent only one scientist with them.There youngest scientist Eric.They sent a few other adults along with the children and Eric to go to the new world they had discovered in the galaxy once there technology had increased.The scientist had created a pill for the people of the new world to take every 23 days to stay alive.But Eric had not shared the formula for the pills with the others in fear that the children would find out where they were actually from.But when Eric suddenly is killed and the pills are stopped being made..what will they do now?

Katie followed all the people crowding around townsquares pedestal as Mayor John began to speak."I'm sorry to tell everyone that Eric has been killed..about last night around 10 to be exact.Were on the look out for who or what killed him my dear citizens.And to find out what the formula is for the pills,so everyone stay calm and relax.Go home and be with family and we will soon call you back here for more news."He said,smileing.His plump face beaming at everyone like he could never frown.Katie gripped Isabellas hand and looked down at the girl she called her sister..even though they weren't related at all."It'll be okay."She said with a small smile,hoping to bring the eight year olds frown to a smile.She failed miserably.

Vince was worried. "Eric has been murderd? and we're out of pills? This doesn't seem right, something is going on around here" Vince thought to himself. Vince approached Katie, whom hhe had known for as long as he could remember. "Hey Katie, how are you holding up?"

"Eh. I don't know, I'm kinda ticked. Since..this means were all going to die in 23 days."She said thinking,they had to find a way out of this..or someplace to go."We need to get into Eric's home..hes bound to have something there."She said quietly.She knew if someone else knew her plan she would get arrested.
Isabella twirled under her sisters arm trying to think of happier things."Hi Vince!"Isabella said with a giggle.

"Hey Isabella" Vince smiled and rubbed her head. "I know a way to sneak into eric's house through the back. Let's go investigate"

Katie nodded."We have to be careful..I don't want anyone to find out we were there."She said looking down at Isabella who was blushing brightly.
Isabella looked up at Vince."Your so brave."She said,looking at his eyes.
Katie rolled her eyes."Yoo-hoo Isabella, not to be a third wheel in all..but what about your boyfriend tommy?"She said with a smile.
Isabella blinked."He's not in my league."She said,raising her chin to be tall.

Vince smiled at Isabella. "I think you should head home. What were going to do is very dangerous little lady"

Isabella nodded."I guess..even though I'll be by myself."She said with a frown and hugged Vince's leg.Katie kneeled down and waited for Isabella to let go,when she did she gave her a hug."Go home and lock the doors Okay?"Katie said with a smile."I'll be home later so just read a book or something."Katie added.Isabella nodded and waved goodbye,skipping off in the distance towards where there small one room house was.Katie stood up looking at Vince."Your so nice to her."She said with a smile as she dusted off her jeans.

"HEY! Vince, Katie! Where are you guys going?" shouted Haylie, then she saw little Isabella skipping off to her house. The hyper girl ran up to the teens and almost knocking off Vince. "Where you guys going huh? I want to come!" the girl was practically jumping up and down as if having a sugar rush without having sugar. "Tell me!"

Katie laughed."Sure, you can come."She said with a giggle.

Isabella turned seeing her friend and ran back."I'm not leaving if my friends going!"She said,holding onto Vince's leg.

"YES!!!! Hey Isabelly!" Haylie greeted, "Glad that you would come along!" the hyper kid copied what the little girl did and started to hold on to Vince's leg. "How'd you like about that huh? Trapped by a couple of little kids, we're unstoppable!!!" Haylie shouted.

Isabella grinned and looked at Haylie."Were like super heros!"She screamed,giggling and looking up at Vince.

Katie laughed lightly and looked at Vince."We should probably go once you've got the two terrors off your legs."She smiled.

Bella saw Isabella and Haylie wrapped around Vince's leg. She tried her best not to laugh to much as she walked up to them. "So do I wanna know whats going on?" she asked them laughing a little.

"Yeah!" Haylie gave one of her funnest smiles to her best friend, Isabella. "And you will never, I mean NEVER get us off of this guy!" the girl gave out one of her "bwahaha" evil laughs.

Katie looked at Bella."It's a long story my friend."She said with a small laugh and looked down at the girls."I'll buy you both icecream if you let go."

Isabella looked at Haylie."Hmmm.."

Vince pulled Hailey and Isabella off his legs. "Sorry you two, but this big kid stuff we're about to do. Your too young. The both of you need to stay home. If you do, then we'll all go out gor icecream when we get back ok?"

Bella attention stuck to the thought of ice cream. She shaked the feeling away. "so what were you two going to o ?" she asked them

"Big kid stuff?"Isabella smirked."Your probably just going to make out with my sister and her friend!"She said with a giggle and looked at Haylie."Wanna go to my house?"She winked,knowing they would both act like they were leaving and then end up following them.

Vince turned to Bella and Katie. "alright, now that that's taken care of, lets go over to eric's house and see what we can find"

"Sure! I would love too!" Haylie winked back and grabbed hold of Isabella's hand and squeezed it. It was a sign that meant "follow them". "Come on Belly, let's go home and watch the house." Haylie could think of lots of nicknames for Isabella, some of them random.

"Kay!"She said smiling as she walked with her until they were around the corner.She sdtopped and looked at Haylie."Why do you think there going to the crazy scientists guys house? Hes dead.."She winced.

Katie nodded."I'm ready when you are."She said looking at her feet.She felt slightly odd knowing she would die if they didn't think of something soon.She looked at Bella."You ready?"

"I guess" Bella said slowly. She didn't feel like something good was about to happen but she didn't want to die.
