And part of Almor understood she somehow enjoyed this new life. It was this part of her with which Almor held qualm. "It is not only you who was forced to do what he did not! We meet here out of necessity. To me, you are a lost cause. But what our master want..." Quote:

LeBlanc stood her ground as she watched the different demons and humans both in and outside the alleyway. She watched as Noel returned having burned a human, and as the other demons got mad at Lyra being taken away from them at this critical time. She was finally snapped out of her dream like state when she heard little Xyrebi tighten her grip on the invisible bow, and lean over to see around everything. After what felt like a millenia of silence from the other angel she spoke softly to her, so as not to be heard.
Quote:
"I am afraid I do not Xyrebi. The only one man that I knew of was Almor. I do not know this newcomer, nor why he comes here. But what I can tell you is that there is something about him. Not necessarily human, but not necessarily supernatural. " She looked past the small angel again watching the others and how they seemed to be dealing with the issues at hand. She could only hope that Almor would complete his talks quickly. She had remembered his idea and plan, and knew that it had a chance at working. But he had to make it work, because if he didn't she didn't know where this alley way confrontation would end up. Almor She thought strongly Please hurry...please, for the sake of God, Xyrebi, the other angel and all the humans here on earth, please have this work. She continued to watch around her and decided to speak. "You don't have to be here any longer if you have things to do. By just standing here, you can see how you attract other angel and demons alike. We do not wish to fight, and I have a feeling you do not either. Once Almor is done talking to Lyra, I am certain he will let her go and she can be on her way. So there is no worry you need to have about her being kidnapped or take prisoner. I assure you. I would have a feeling if he was lying about anything. And everything feels right, I assure you." Maybe, just maybe she hoped they would leave without a fight, or without creating any more trouble. She knew it was a small, very small indeed chance, but an angel could hope. |
One of her bodyguard come in Kare's hideout. "There you are Lady Kare! You make me worries sick! Were have you been?" Kare look disapointed and look up at her bodyguard. "Sorry, Laguna. I was after my ball in the Dark Woods and I don't want to lose it." Laguna sigh to cool down and look at Kare. "You should have ask me to go get it for you. I been telling you this over and over not to go into that Dark Woods." He took something out of his pocket and look at his pocket watch. "It time for your wrighting lesson. Get up and go get clean up before your lesson." Kare get up and run out of her hideout and to the house.
Before Laguna start follow Kare. He feel something and look at the Dark Woods on his right side at the end of the maze. There something or someone in that Dark Woods. Has it follow Kare here? Has it sence her Angelic power? I must keep Kare safe. He turn around and head to the house. |
Xyrebi looked back at the kinda-human guy with a confused look on her face, then looked back at the demons. She didn't look around as LeBlanc whispered her reply, but gave a tiny nod to acknowledge that she'd heard and understood.
Xyrebi glanced up at the sky, in the direction Almor had flown up with Lyra. "They should be back soon, anyway," Xyrebi said fairly. "Almor will need to have a break after flying around with such a heavy load after a while - no offense to Lyra, of course." |
Quote:
"Well, Almor, I don't know." She tilted her head to the side as she considered what to say next. Some of her soft dark curls fell from their place atop her had and brushed across her face. "Wonderful. Now you've gone and ruined my hair as well as lost my hat." She chuckled to herself about this. The serious expression on the angels face half amused and terrified her. "I serve myself mostly. I do what I want to be done. I don't know who is good anymore." Slowly she stepped closer to him with her hands out, palms upwards. "I used to have trust in God. I believed that everything He did was righteous and pure. Even if His actions seemed... harsh or cruel, I believed in Him. I felt like I had to - like He could do no wrong. Even if He was wrong, He couldn't be wrong because He was God. He made you and I. He made all of the humans with which we amuse ourselves and keep ourselves busy with. He made the moon and sky and stars and planets. For that I am thankful, and, for that I respect Him. But I don't know if blindly following to orders and wishes of one being is the right thing to do." She shrugged her shoulders to emphasize her point. "I work for the devil because it gives me the power to keep myself happy. It also gives me the power to use my own head and my own will. If I feel like someone deserves it, I can help them. If I feel like someone deserves it, I can damn them." Gingerly she touched Almors right hand and stared into his eyes. "I mean you no harm. And, if you don't get me killed by parading me in front of demons and asking me to betray them, I will probably never cause you any harm. We are at war right now. Though if you insist on kidnapping me against my will, the night is a more appropriate time." Teasingly, Lyra let out brief peal of laughter as her eyes turned from serious to seductive. "Tell me Almor. Have these hands done things that they have not willed. Have they obeyed God's orders and not your own? Do you not have your own convictions?" |
Noel sighed bit getting bored as she heard the tiny angel speak up to the taller woman called Leblanc, Quote:
Noel smirked as she looked towards the tiny angel, "Ah someone a bit jealous? I thought angels couldn't envious of others. Maybe Lyra is putting the moves on your dear Almor" Chuckling she backed away from the wall as she walked in front of the tiny angel. |
Once Kare and Laguna went inside, Kare run up to her room to get clean up for her writing lesson while Laguna walk into the Study room. When Kare in her room, she called one of the maids to help her to change out of her dress. Once the maid finish helping Kare chage her clean dress, she walk out. Kare look at her stuff teddys and say to them. "Why do I have to take this boring lesson? No one know why?" Look at them hard. "Hump! Fine!" Turn around and stomp her feet to the door.
Meanwhile, Laguna getting the table set up for Kare's lesson. After he finish setting up, he walk over to the window to look out. Was someone who trying to get Kare away from us? Are they after her human side? Laguna think about it for long time and then hear Kare stomp in the room. "Come Kare. Sit down at the dask and we'll get back were we left off yesterday." Kare stomp to her dask and sit with a pouching face. |

Zilla caught the look and could not help but smile back. "I do believe you are right, Johannah." Zilla then turned back to the angels, not wanting to break the stand-off just yet. Quote:
Zilla simply nodded. This was a very odd society. "I know your pain. These silly humans seem to want to institutionalize me for nymphomania. Can you believe it? When did a healthy enjoyment of sex become a sign of insanity? I swear. This period baffles me. Humans were not meant to live lives of celibacy. If that were the case, I would be powerless here. Oh but look! I have a mindless minion right now and could have more whenever I wish!" She could not help but giggle at her own comment. The foolishness of humans was always so entertaining. Quote:
"You do not need to apologize. Yes, it was a little risky with all of these humans about, but what are powers if you cannot use them? How about the next time you want to torch a human you do it somewhere privately?" Zilla glanced at the angels quickly to see if they were sufficiently distracted. She then moved next to Noel to whisper in her ear. "How about you and Johannah come to my place later tonight. We could roast some humans, enjoy some Italian wine, and break into the shipment of chocolates I just received from Belgium. How does that sound?" Zilla would greatly enjoy some non-human company. She then turned to faced the two angels again when she hear the elder angel speak. Quote:
Zilla could not help but sigh. Why did this angel have to be right? Engaging in broad daylight would simply be idiotic. There would be too many human witnesses to kill. Zilla did not feel like getting her hands that dirty before dinner. "See, here is my problem with that proposal. You may be an angel, but to me that makes you even more untrustworthy. I'd rather not turn my back for you to use as target practice. As much as I would like to kill you now, I cannot deny that there would be too many witnesses. So here is my plan. We leave this to be continued under moonlight. I will take my demons. You take your angels. Oh, and since I do not trust you farther than I could toss you in this corset, we will leave without facing away from each other. Now how does that sound, angel?" Quote:
Zilla could not help but smirk at Noel's statement. "Well if we all know our Lyra, she will have him begging to remove her clothes before we even leave this alley. I may be the succubus, but she sure can flirt." This thought was comforting to Zilla. Lyra may be a liability, but her greed and lust would keep her on the devil's side... at least for now. Zilla could not imagine Lyra giving up the comforts that Satan provided her with just because an angel had a private conversation with her. Lyra simply will always be selfish. Perhaps even more selfish than Zilla. Zilla at least learned that she had to be a leader as well. In some ways that made her selfless. The devil was depending on her. Zilla was still unsure as of why all of the demons looked to her for guidance- she never intended it- but it seems that she was the closest to the devil. Perhaps it was to be expected. |
Quote:
Xyrebi instead glanced at the sky yet again, wishing that Almor would hurry up and be done with Lyra so they could leave peacefully. |
Noel smirked at Zilla's comment Quote:
"Very true, very true." Noel paced around getting quite bored agian, awaiting the little angels to make their move. Especially if they are going to start a fight. Noel wants to personally be able to make their wings quite crisp. Noels smirked devilously as she made a small fire in her hand, she played with it to amuse herself. She began to hum a soft song as her eyes were fixed on the fire. "Zilla, so is there really anything we are suppose to be doing with these's angels? Or are we going to just wait for them to come back from their make out session?"As Noel referred to Lyra and Almor. |
Quote:
Why doesn't she just kiss the almighty mistress Zilla's feet while she's at it? Johannah desperately wanted to leave. This entire stupid little standoff was getting rather boring. She didn't count on Almor and Lyra returning. Either the fallen angel would end up having her way with him or, the better situation in Johannah's mind, she might end up killing him. And if Johannah couldn't have her own fun by killing the obnoxious little angel then she didn't want to stick around. Quote:
Johannah's eyes moved from the demons near her to the angels and back and forth over again as they spoke amongst each other. And the point of all this was...? Being the fickle demon that she was, she no longer cared to wait and make sure Lyra wasn't returned to “the light”. “The lot of you can stick around here and chat for however long you like, but I'm bored and there are many other things I'd rather be doing at the moment.” And with that she walked away from the group and strode intently towards the human man watching them. It hadn't slipped her noticed that he'd moved from his previous position and was attempting to sneak up on them. ((In a rush, will edit out mistakes later)) |
Xyrebi frowned at Noel's comments about Lyra and Almor. Maybe demons would think of their reunion as something lustful, but Xyrebi didn't think that Almor would do something like that. He just didn't seem like the type of angel that would stoop so low, even if the woman had been close to him before her fall. The angel was confident that they were just going to catch up, and that was all.
Quote:
Xyrebi kept a close eye on Johanna as she made a beeline for the kind-of-human man. If anything were to happen to him, she'd feel guilty for ages afterwards. She'd step in if the demon tried anything. |
Quote:
Without thinking, Almor grasped the fallen-angel's hand and gently brought it to his cheek, feeling the warmth he had missed for all that time. He purred as he moved Lyra's hand to his lips and kissed the back of her hand, his eyes coyly locked on her's. Lust was sure to possess his body soon. And yet... Is this not temptation? Has she made me stray from the path of God with her unholy body? This is wrong! But oh so right! The invasion in Almor's thoughts shook him from his dreamy daze. The absolute surprise from the new voice in his mind, one not his own, gripped at him like a hand coated in ice. His eyes widened in fright as he let go of Lyra's hand and stepped back in terror. "What have you done, Lyra!? In the name of the Lord, what have you done!?" She has given you a gift... "No, no, NO!" he swung his arms like a madman as he stepped further back. What magic was this? What was ailing him? As he neared the edge of the rooftop, he stopped himself from falling over the precipice. He looked down and saw his hands tightly grasping two daggers on his vest, veins clearly visible in a sign of pure rage. Breathlessly, he addressed Lyra "You...you should probably consider my offer to join our ranks...please..." Without another word, he abruptly leaned back over the edge of the roof and tumbled down towards the dirty stone forming the ground of the ally, where the demons and angels were still conversing. He weakly spread his wings enough to slow his descent to a speed which would not cause death. But the collision with the cold ground was still astounding. His mind fell into a deep slumber. |

Quote:
"My kind sir. Should you want to kidnap me...er... properly, then as I said perhaps it should take place under the cloak of night. Surly you don't want all of your companions to see you interacting with your enemies in... such a scandalous fashion." Daintily, she fanned herself with her free hand in the hopes of easing the spell of dizziness that was about to overtake her. Quote:
"I beg your pardon? I've done nothing. I... well I'm sorry if you misunderstood, but no! You're the one who kidnapped ME!" Quote:
Quote:
"And, if you are so desperate to have my body then I suggest you consider joining my ranks if you even want a chance. A delicate woman like myself could use a body guard. But... hey wait you're awfully close to the edge of the building you idiot!" Before she knew it, Almor was falling towards to the ground. She tried to run towards the edge of the building to catch him but she was too late. Looking down at the "fallen" angel she felt both frightened and enraged. She didn't know if she was more fearful for his life or furious for being so easily controlled by such a man. Flustered, she crouched down on her hands and knees and stuck her head over the edge of the building to call down to him. "You filthy dirty bastard! How dare you think you can control me so easily. Why don't you just run and tell your God what happened today." Somewhere amidst her her rant she noticed that the angel was not moving. He merely lay there as the rest of his companions looked on in both surprise in confusion. 'My God, is he hurt? Please Lord, don't let him be dead.' In a huff, she scrambled to her feet and sprinted to the door that lead into the attic of the building they were atop of. With scores of luck, she was able to sneak down stairs and out the front door. Apparently, no humans were currently in the building, but she knew they'd be awfully curious as to why their door was unlocked when they returned. |
Quote:
Xyrebi snapped out of her surprised stiffness. She ran to Almor's side, glancing up as she did. She had time to see Lyra whip her head back over the edge of the building. Wha-?! Did she push him?! Xyrebi thought wildly. "Almor - hey, are you okay? Hellooo?" Xyrebi slapped Almor's face, trying to get him to wake up (she was too panicked to think of checking his pulse). |
Julien watched the tense scene from afar, having little desire to mingle with the group of angels and demons in broad daylight. Most of the members were getting antsy and impatient, so he knew that they wanted to leave more than fight right now. With that thought, Julien turned to leave, only to see a large form fall slowly to the ground, or more like in slow motion, the loud thump drawing everyones attention to the angel who lay motionless. Staring critically, Julien glanced up to see another form whip her hair behind her in what seemed to be a hasty exit. Julien didn't jump to conclusions, but it only seemed natural that the demon above had pushed the angel.
Not wanting to be part of the possible disaster of the current situation, Julien stepped back into the shadows, his own demon cloaking him in the dark as he watched quietly. |
((Hey, for anyone that has already read this, I edited it to not include the coma thing. Since I realized that it really never said anything about it anyway.))
She wanted to respond to the demons that she was also agreeing with them. That they should both return later at nightfall to finsih deciding things, when everything stopped. LeBlanc watched everything happen in what felt like slow motion. She saw Almor falling, and then his body hitting the ground. She knew at that point, that while the fall didn't kill him, it certainly seemed to have at least hurt him. The human bodies they had here in this world were not meant to withstand the harsh realities of gravity and the physics of the realm. She also watched Xerybi run over to his body and try and wake him. Though at this point she was quick to be on her tail. "Xerybi! Stop." She spoke to the young angel who was hunched over Almor and visibly upset. She also saw her head turn up towards the rooftop and knew exactly what she was thinking No....I refuse to believe it... What reason would she have for pushing Almor off the roof like that? Still she stood her ground and tried to keep one eye on the crying angel and one eye on the demons who seemed to be taking in the situation as well. "Well, it appears that we now have no choice but to meet at a later time. Since it appears one of our party is has been injured by some unknown circumstance. We wish to take him back with us and let him heal. If that is alright with you demons of course...." She looked up towards the others, keeping on hand on Xerybi's hunched shoulder, and trying to make calming noises with her whispers. |
Noel sighed a bit, Yay! More boredom. Oh well, I suppose we don't want the entire human race after us.She thought to her self. She went waved good bye to the others, "Well then I shall meet you guys back here at night fall." When she noticed the little angel running off urgentily. Noel had a small twisted grin as she followed her to see where the little one is going. When she noticed the little angel kneeling besides Almor, Noel looked up seeing Lyra peering down. Noel chuckled, "Well it seems your boyfriend fell. What happen Lyra? You two getting a little too carried away up there?" She countied to chuckle a bit as she began to walk towards Lyra. As Noel walked she snapped her fingers and a nearby rat started on fire. Noel savored the smell of burnt flesh. |
((*cocks head* Should I edit in that Xyrebi was crying? o.o; ))
Quote:
"Let's just get him out of here," she whispered to LeBlanc. "Seriously. They're getting on my nerves big-time." She jerked her head in the direction of the remaining demons. She knew that she had to control herself, especially now that Almor's body had been harmed. It would be kind of bad if she suddenly leaped at the demons and started firing flaming arrows at them. |
((I was going to do this in PM but I want to make sure everyone sees it. For those of you who don't know, I had a mental breakdown in school today. My school work is becoming overwhelming. My posts on here are going to be almost non-existent for the next three weeks. Please try and bear with me. I'm really sorry guys. I will try to post tomorrow to sum up Zilla's involvement in the stand-off. I just cannot promise anything. I'm sorry guys. I'm just under a lot of stress now.))

As soon as Lyra popped out of the building and into the alley way, Noel was waiting with a snide remark. Lyra rolled her eyes at Noels blatant childish provocation.
Quote:
Vainly, she spun around to display her ravishing appearance. "If only that brute hadn't made a folly of my hair! She let out an exasperated sigh as she walked over to her hat that had fallen on the ground. She picked it up and bitterly dusted it off as she examined how soiled it had become from lying on the ground. Lyra scowled at Almor who still lay motionless on the ground. She felt her heart race with concern but didn't dare display any hint of evidence of her worry on her face. She wanted to leave, but she didn't quite trust leaving the situation quite as it was. Anxiously she tapped her boot. In an attempt to hone in some patience, she straightened her back and folded her arms across her chest. |
Almor...Almor...She stands before you bathed in lust...take her up...INDULGE
In angst, Almor awoke. He shoved Xyrebi and LeBlanc from his side as he sprang to his feet, a little wobbly but otherwise fine. Some blood dribbled from a gash above his right eye, and as it spread down his face in a small stream, he stopped the path with his tongue, tasting the salty substance. He pointed an accusing finger at Lyra. "If you want to tempt me, harlot, do it properly! Try your best to lead me from the path of God, it shall be for naught!" Almor grabbed a dagger from his vest and held it in front of his body. "If you bastards want to harm us, try your best! All that is needed to defeat your kind is my skill!" The blood spreading down his cheek gave a feeling of warmth to his face. "But I know you won't. The sun still beats upon us. Perhaps we shall settle this discord at a later time. For now, we must disperse. The mortals may become...worried." As he turned he grabbed a throwing knife from his belt and wrote a quick message on a piece of paper found amongst the trash in the alley and tied it to the knife. "Big Ben...11 o'clock PM" He turned sharply and threw the knife at Lyra's feet, somehow impaling the stone. "Consider that my parting gift. Come now, Angels, let us leave this place." He didn't turn back as he headed out of the alleyway. |
Zilla watched as Almor fell from the roof and glanced up to see Lyra peering down. “Well, I guess we know what side she is on,” Zilla laughed to herself. Mostly she was happy to even see Almor fall. That angel was a whole new level of annoying. The good news? His fall successfully broke up what remained of the standoff. Zilla approached Almor’s unconscious body, tempted to kick it. It took all of her self-control not to.
Quote:
Quote:
Just as Zilla thought the angels fussing over Almor would drag his body away, the mongrel jumped to his feet and began yelling at Lyra and then Noel and herself. “Does he ever shut his mouth?” Zilla could not help but wonder. It all culminated in Almor throwing a knife at Lyra’s feet and marching away. Zilla was tempted to roll her eyes as she stepped over the knife to wrap her arm through Lyra’s. “That fool has quite the temper for an angel. How is he not working for us? He has the wrath market cornered. Well, no matter. How about we go back to my place and have some tea. It seems silly to worry about his threats.” |
(( Hey guys just to let you know I am going to reply back later today. I currently at work and can't really think so just to informed you guys.))
|
Julien stepped away from the alley as the three angels dispersed. Watching closely for any more troublesome actions, he decided to take his departure as well. The dramatic scene caused by the bleeding angel and the vane demon caused him a slight headache as he rubbed his dragon tattoo. Walking back to the fountain, he took in the important but at the same time not-so-important events of the morning.
Nightfall is not going to be pretty. I pray that all humans be smart and stay inside tonight... ((weeooh. sorry for the teeny post >.> not interacting with anyone at the moment :3)) |
