As Ezechial was attacking the creature Lexi's vision began to blur before she finally blacked out. She collapsed, hitting the ground with a loud thud. She was still holding tightly to the stone in her hand. The others didn't know this, but when she passed out the barrier disappeared. So they were left vulnerable once again. When she collapsed she reopened the cuts on her arm that she had been hiding.


Jamie stared in shock. What the hell is going on here? It's like I've stepped into another dimension or something. To his surprise the branch was now within arms reach of him. "How," was all he said before picking it up. He stood ready to fight off any other weird creatures that might show up and try to attack them.

Upon hearing the thud behind him he whirled around. "I'm ready for you monster." When there wasn't a monster there he looked down and seen Lexi laying there out cold. Damn. "Hey are you ok? Lexi? Crap she most have gotten hurt when she fell." He could slightly smell the scent of blood. "What do we do now?" As the only man here he felt like he need to protect Lexi and Ryoma from these evil looking creatures.

((Nah, I've just been kinda of busy the past few days. Plus I was trying to think of what to post next. Oh btw I was thinking of making a temporary character that we can use. It would be a fairy or some other good creature who acts as a guide for them.))

Ryoma was not prepared for actually fighting anyone, this was insane to her. One creature lay on the ground electrocuted from her watch, and Jamie had just gotten a stick that had come form nowhere. She looked at Lexi who had seen some kind of light force field or something that they couldn't see. Well she assumed that that's what it was, the creature couldn't get to them. "I don't know!" She bent down to Lexi, "can you fight? I can carry her and we can get somewhere safer."


(blah in class, so busy)

Well, damn. Passing out in the middle of a fight wasn't exactly the best thing for a person to do.

"What's up with her?" She growled to the only man present.

"Well, for the most part, keep those things away from her," Ezechial replied to Jamie's muttered question, jerking her head at Lexi. "They'll give up soon enough, as long as we keep up a good fight."

Jamie nodded to Ryoma. "Yeah I can fight while you take care of Lexi." He looked over at Ezechial. "I don't know. She fell earlier, so I guess she got hurt. I'll help fight them." As he finished speaking he swung the branch in his hand at an ugly and rather large green monster. "What are these things?" Taking another swing at it the monster ducked. Jamie grumbled.


Lexi was out cold. She'd learn soon enough the cost of the new power she had gained.

Ryoma picked the girl up, she wasn't weak, she just couldn't fight well and Jamie seemed more likely to be able to. As the new girl showed up she nodded at her. "I'll cover the not getting her hit part. Thanks for the help." She pulled herself and Lexi out of the small hole. The only things around were really Jamie's car and her motorcycle. The motorcycle wouldn't work at all. "How about the car?"

Ezechial stabbed at a tiny electric blue creature, which was cackling madly and pocking it's tongue out.

"Not a clue," She grunted in reply to Jamie. "All I know is, they're a bitch to fight, and they always pop up at the most unneeded times to try and steal the Stones. It was just your luck you found a pile of 'em just as a whole freaking procession of them was going past you."

Ezechial chanced a glance behind her, to see that Ryoma was taking Lexi to a safe place. It seemed she was, so Ezechial turned back to the fight.

"What wonderful luck," Jamie said sarcastically. He covered Ryoma. "Yeah, get her to the car. It's unlocked." He bashed a red creatureover the head. A tiny gray creature headbutted his let. He kicked it away. "This is insane."


Viatrix watched from a distance, just shaking her head. It never fails. She sighed. "I guess I should go help these people out and start guiding them so that they don't get killed," she said to herself. With that she flew out from the forest. "Be gone with you evil little demon. You know this land doesn't belong to you." The little creatures looked up at her and laughed. A big black creature spoke up, "Why should be listen to you? We can go where we please. You're a lone fairy what can you do?" The creature smirked. "I can do this." She held her hand out and one of the branches on the tree the black creature was under him smacked him in the stomach. This caused the creature to double over in pain. "Curse you," the creature grunted. "Now if you don't want more then leave."

"Indeed," Ezechial responded drily.

Be gone with you evil little demon. You know this land doesn't belong to you.

Ezechial jumped, and looked up from where the voice had resounded; the sky?! She was rather surprised when the horde of creatures stopped in their tracks, to glance warily up at the woman floating through the air.

"Why should be listen to you? We can go where we please. You're a lone fairy what can you do?" The creature smirked. "I can do this." She held her hand out and one of the branches on the tree the black creature was under him smacked him in the stomach. This caused the creature to double over in pain. "Curse you," the creature grunted. "Now if you don't want more then leave."

Ezechial slightly lowered her spear, but not enough that she was vulnerable, and glanced up at the woman. Who -or what- the hell was she?

Ryoma moved as fast as she could to the car, looking over her shoulder this new sight slowed her slightly. A...flying one? She stumbled and almost fell forgetting the extra weight of carrying someone threw off one's balance slightly. She mumbled at herself and reached the car, sliding Lexi inside. "Hey are you okay?" She had no idea if the girl was awake yet, but talking to her might help. Least in some kind of blacking out thing it did. That's not something she really researched.

She looked back at the group and saw they seemed to be okay. "I'm going to go try to help them. Please stay safe." The last part she added as a kind of prayer. These events were rather crazy. She reached for the car door's lock and stared in amazement as it moved down before she actually touched it. "Creepy..." She looked at the others and nodded her head mumbling 'lock.' Amazingly, the locks actually moved and made the car secure. "Now why in the world did I immediately test the other doors. Oh whatever." She turned and ran back to the fight now that Lexi was safe.

Lexi mumbled something as Ryoma put get in the car. She was still out, but starting to slowly awaken. As the others fought and tried to figure at what was going on she pretty much laid there oblivious to what was going on. Some loud noise of the fight finally brought her back to the from the darkness had been in. Her eyelids fluttered as she awoke. Slow to get her barings she looked around. "Where am I? Ow, what happened." She raised her hand where she was still holding the fairy stone tightly to her forehead. "Hmm?" Still confused about what was going on she opened her hand and looked at the stone. After a moment it hit her. "Oh yeah, I found a fairy stone and then those things showed up. I was with two other people and there was a strange light...then...then..I can't remember. I just started feeling really weak and then darkness." Looking around again she realized that she was in a car. "How'd I get her?" Sitting up she could see the monsters and the others fighting. Also a women who was flying in the air? How long was I out? Who's the women? What the hell is going on? All the questions that flooded her mind just made her head hurt that must more. She sat there watching, not really sure if she wanted to leave the safety of the car.


Jamie looked at the women that was flying overhead. "What the hell? Now what's going to happen?" The ones on the ground were bad enough, but if they could fly to then they were in trouble. He knocked another little fat black creature away from him. This is ridiculous. Man I really should have just stayed home and not let my curiosity get the best of me. I wish I was at home. "How is Lexi doing," he asked over his shoulder to Ryoma.

As Ryoma rejoined the group Jamie spoke to her and she quickly replied, "Well she was still out when I left her in the car, and it's locked now so she should be fine." She drop kicked a creature that jumped at her, she was a bit more prepared for this now, the shock of everything happening worn off a little bit. "So who are you little flying creature?" She asked, not directly looking at the newest addition to the circle as she was concentrating on the ground creatures.

"I am Viatrix and I am one of the fairies who live on this land. These little demons are trespassing." Viatrix said a she watched some vines wrap up a blue demon. "Once these demons are gone I will explain things to you."


Jamie fought along side Ryoma. "That would be nice," he said to Viatrix. It's about time someone knew what was going on. Beating a green goblin looking demon he looked towards the car to make sure none where near it. For now it seemed to be safe.


Lexi still felt weak as she watched the others from the car. She felt helpless and useless, but she didn't know what she could do. At least it looked like the others were winning against the demons or whatever they were.

Ryoma helped the best she could , mostly with a very odd form of kicking that was something in between martial arts and useless attacks, but slowly they seemed to be fighting off the strange multi-colored creatures. A black one was all that was left, and he was a big guy. She kicked at him in a spinning jump kick, to kick his head. It barely seemed to phase him and she landed on one foot and her hands. Quickly pulling herself back up to standing. That hadn't worked at all! "Yes thanks Viatrix." She was looking at the big black thing thoughtfully. Ryoma wasn't built for fighting, but she could calculate things and since this one was taking its time, so did she. That's how she figured out where it needed to be hit. "I think its weaker in the legs. Hit him hard!"

Jamie gave a quick nod before swinging the branch with all his might towards the creatures legs. The branch hit the black demons knee causing it to bend sideways from the impact. The creature stomped a little as it let out a cry. Again he hit the creature's knee. It cried out as if fell over in pain holding onto it's knee.

"Get lost you creep!" She said happily kicking the downed creature in the side which was towards her. It managed to struggle away after a bit of dragging, she watched it go. As soon as it was gone she turned, "What the heck was that and what's going on I hope she's okay." She looked over at the car where Lexi was, who now seemed to be sitting up. "Oh she's awake." She moved towards the car with clear intentions of going to it, and noticed that the car was moving, ever so slightly it was turning towards them. "Uh...."

Lexi felt the car move. "What the?" She went over to the door and unlocked it. She jumped out and backed away. "Do you guys now what's going on?" Watching the car was moving towards the others, but how? Kneeling down she tried to get a look under the car. "Damn, those little things are strong." To her surprise she had seen four tiny demons actually holding the car up and moving it. "There's four tiny little creature under there moving the car."


"Dude that's my car! Come on, why can't you just go? All of your buddies are gone." Jamie complained to the little monsters. After a few moments he remembered how he got the branch that he used to right with. Maybe he could move the car the same way. Staring at the car he thought about it lifting up and sitting back down where he had parked it. This seemed stupid since it didn't appear to be working.

Ezechial watched the roaming car with fascination; she'd seen cars from a distance before, but never this close. It was very cool, even if it was being towed along by some of the creatures.

She glanced at Viatrix. "Couldn't you get rid of some of these things? You're a fairy, after all. Do something." As she said this, she leaned on her make-shift spear in a very not-going-to-do-anything stance.

Ryoma looked at the car in anger when she heard Lexi call out that there was demons underneath it. "Get out from under that you creepers!" She yelled, she waved her hand as if trying to wave them off and move the car back. And stared in amazement as the car abruptly stopped and moved backwards running the little demons over. "Oh, eww." She said noticing the death, and making a face. Than the reaction that should have come first came to her. "Did I just do that?" She stared in a amazement.

Viatrix giggled. “It looks like my powers weren’t needed here.” She landed on the ground by Lexi. “You all did well. A lot better then most of the people I’ve seen. Now give me a moment while I take a look at each of you. After all I’m sure you’d like to know what power you have gained from the stone you found.” Smiling sweetly she walked over to Ryoma first. She glanced at the stone then into her eyes. “Yes, yes. How wonderful. It seems that you are a Technopath. I’ll explain more about it if you are unfamiliar with what a Technopath is.”

She moved over to Jamie. “Now lets see.” Looking first at the stone and then into his eyes she was a little surprised by his power. “Hmm, very interesting. It seems that your power is Telekinesis.” Giving a nod she walked over to Ezechial. “Hello my dear. I see you have found other uses for your stone,” she said looking at the spear. “It seems that your are in tune with nature and have some Earth and nature abilities.”

Smiling she went back over to Lexi. “Now my child my I see your stone?” Her eyes lit up when she seen the stone. It seemed like she took forever when she was staring into Lexi’s eyes. Her expression changed a little as she frowned slightly. She hated it when things like this happened. “You have an amazing ability my dear. You can create barriers of light to not only protect yourself, but others as well.” Leaning close she whispered in Lexi’s ear. “I’d like to have a chat with you later in private about your ability. There are some very important things you need to know.”

Turning around she smiled again. “Why don’t we see about some lunch and then we can discuss more about your powers and what is going on around here.”

Ryoma was honestly surprised when Viatrix told her what her power was. For one she didn't think it was a power that faeries would have. So she had not studied it well in her past, and therefore knew very little about it. She said as much to the fairy. "The name sounds familiar but I'm not to sure what it is. I would appreciate it if you explained it." She smiled as a thanks to the helpful creature.

(its okay, i am to. I'll try to come up with something after i re read what you wrote later. =] maybe i can help in some way. ^^ )

(ugh, i'm not sure what to write either, and no one has been around in awhile. I was going to unsubscribe from all my dead roleplays. But this one was just so much fun. I'm gonna again re read it and see if i can come up with ANYTHING that might help the group out on this one for getting it started again. If not *shrugs* at least it was fun while it lasted. Hopefully see everyone here again soon. ^-^ )

Technopath, that was kind of telekinesis, Ryoma thought quickly. Techno... technology maybe? Meaning she had power over technology, that would explain why the car had acted as it had. She pounded her mind for some reason why it would be the fairy power she had received. Was there something about technology that was changing that was endangering the faeries, or was it just such a huge part of the world now that they had to convert to new powers.

She couldn't understand it without more explanation in any case, and the faerie infront of them seemed friendly enough. She'd probably get around to explaining it at some point. Ryoma would let her help the other two first though. No reason to be selfish right now.

Viatrex had lead them to a clearing. “Here we are. This will be a good spot to eat and chat don’t you think?” She smiled brightly at them as she turned around. “I’ll tell you guys more about your abilities as we eat and if you have questions don’t be afraid to ask.” In the clearing there was a blanket spread out with an assortment of different foods. There were fresh vegetables and fruits along with cooked meats. It was a regular little feast. Since Viatrex know that she would be meeting some new humans she had prepared the meal beforehand.


Jamie whistled. “Look at all that food.” He rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn’t seeing things. “Is all of this for us?” At the sight of the food his thoughts turned from what Viatrex had told him earlier to how hungry he was. He sat down and waited for the others to join him. Even though he was hungry he wasn’t about to forget his manners.


Lexi’s eyes widened upon seeing the feast that Viatrex had for them. “Wow, is all that really just for us?” Her stomach growled a little at her, but she paid little attention to it. She was still tired and just wanted to take a nap. Maybe I’ll eat just a little. It would be rude not to. Walking slowly she went over and took a seat on the blanket away from everyone.
