Saito looked at him shocked. "Well actually I have been tracking my Commander's daughter. I knew she was here earlier but I haven't really paid any attention to it." He sniffs a bit but his senses are much weaker in his current form. "Is she still around?"

Yuichi shakes his head unsure. I caught a scent of it for a moment, and for some reason it reminded me of you. But I can not find it again, I'm sorry. I guess it was just a random down wind. Yuichi lays down on the ground staring out at the water, his tail swaying slowly back and forth.

Saito sighed in frustration. "Oh well. I dont really know why he sent me. I'm definitely not the tracker type and she is certainly hard to keep up with." He sighed again, laying next to Yuichi watching the water as well. "Every time I seem to get close, she runs off in another direction. I wish she would just stay put."

Yuichi shrugs slightly, Maybe she knows your own her trail and doesn't want to be found? He continues staring at the water, a bit entranced by the small ripples he sees.

Saito lets the water entrance him. "Who knows..." He responds just before falling asleep.

Yuichi moves over and curls up beside Saito, he wraps his tail about his body as he lays against Saito. Good night, Mr Saito Yuichi closes his eyes and slowly drifts off to sleep.

Kioko waits patently for her serving, gently waving her tail back and forth.

Yuichi slowly opens his eyes and stands, stretching as he yawns. He turns and looks at Saito for a moment before noticing that whatever the ointment Saito used on him fully healed his leg. I-Its back to normal.....

Allegria turned towards Sikura "I'm going to take advantage of the stream and wash some of my things, alright, I'll be right back" she said, standing up. When she reached the stream, she looked around and spotted Saito asleep, next to a fox. She smirked and jumped into the river, soaking the dirt and dust away from herself. After she had soaked properly, she picked up her bag and walked over to Saito. She crouched down and looked at the fox and smiled. "Don't tell him I was here" she whispered, taking a few strips of rabbit meat from her pouch and placing them in front of the fox. She winked lightly, straightened and walked back towards the campsite.

Yuichi watches her carefully before looking down at the strips of meat. He leans forward and sniffs them a little and starts pawing it, unsure of the intentions of the one that tossed them to him. They don't smell like they will kill me. I guess its safe. He leans forward and starts nibbling on a strip of meat, closing his eyes in enjoyment of the flavor.

Allegria glances back towards the river and smiles, then she turns back to the fire she was sitting in front of, to dry herself off. She lays back to stare at the stars. I miss you father... how are you doing up there? I met some people today, they're interesting. I also met a fox, I suspect it's really a beast and has the ability to transform to a human form, but I could be mistaken. I do hope I get to see it again, I liked it. Well, good night, father, she thought to herself, doing her nightly "father talk." It's like she was writing in a journal.

Yuichi finishes eating the strips and looks off at the stream, dipping his muzzle in it every so often to clean his face. That was really good, I must find that woman again sometime. He turns his head to look back at Saito, suddenly feeling bad about not leaving any for him. I hope he understands....I haven't had anything to eat in days.

Allegria glanced back at the stream where Saito was slumbering. It was quiet by the fire, it seemed that Sikura had no intention of speaking to her, so she stood up, turning to Sikura once again to be polite "I'm going to go down by the stream and meditate for awhile" she informed her before walking away. She grabbed her bag, quiver, and bow and headed to a big rock by the river. She sat against it and began to sharpen her knife and care for her bow and arrows. She looked up and saw the fox still there. She smiled at him.

Yuichi's ear twitches slightly in the direction of the girl sharpening her knife. He shakes his head a little, banishing the daydreams he was having and looks over to her. After watching her for a moment with his head tilted to the right, he slowly nods his head in thanks to her, recognizing her to be the same person that had given him food. Thank you very much for the meat, I'm sorry I have nothing to repay you with.

Allegria's head twirked to the side. She had the feeling that the fox was speaking to her, but since she wasn't a beast, she didn't know how to speak to it. She crawled over to the fox, "hey there, little one, are you trying to speak to me?" she asked quietly, holding her hand out for the fox to sniff.

Yuichi sniffs her hand tentatively at first and then slowly rubs the top of his head against it. You are unable to understand me? He sits down on his haunches and looks at her, curious, and tilting his head to the right.

Allegria smiled and scratched behind the fox's ear, she could sense its confusion "I'm an elf, I can't speak to your kind when you're in your beast form. I wish I could understand you, though" she said gently.

Yuichi nods his head before looking away. He stands up and walks away a moment, grabbing a small stick with his mouth and coming back. He starts writing in the dirt, trying to communicate with the elf. I do not know how to transform.

Allegria raised an eyebrow as she read the writing. She laid down on her stomach, wiped the dirt clean for the fox's next message and looked at him "you are a beast, though, correct? not a normal fox? Of course you aren't, normal foxes can't write... How... how is it that you don't know how?" she asked.

Yuichi stares at the ground a few moments after the question was asked, a few tears falling through his fur into the dirt. He slowly starts to write again, the words a little shaky this time as he struggles to keep his composure. My family was killed before they had the chance to teach me.

Allegria immidiately felt horrible for asking such a question. She reached out and petted the fur of the fox "Hey, shhhh... it's alright... Saito could probably teach you if you wanted. And if he can't, well we have a nice system of communication going, you don't have to transform. I know what it's like to lose someone important to you... I know exactly how you feel" she cooed, nuzzling her nose against his head, slightly.

Yuichi cringes a little at first from the touch, still unused to kindness. After a few seconds pass, he closes his eyes, enjoying the touch of kindness. His tail starts to sway back and forth behind him happily.

Allegria smiled and scratched behind his ear "What's your name? I'm Allegria" she asked, backing up and wiping the ground clean to allow the fox to write.

Yuichi leans forward and starts writing again. Yuichi He looks up at her and tilts his head a sec studying her before writing again. Your the first Elf I have ever met.

Allegria smiles "well, Yuichi, what do you think of my people? I hope I've done them proud" she asked while scratching behind his ear again.
