Hako closed the door behind them and then turned and looked at her. She looked dead inside..."Metza..." He didn't try and get any closer to her, afraid of what she might try and do. He lowed his voice down and knelt down a bit. "Metza...please, listen to me...I didn't mean anything. I just didn't want you to get hurt, I didn't want them to think trouble needed to be made." His heart burnt and he started to feel sick with guilt. He moved a foot towards her, slowly.

Metza stayed quiet unmoving and without looking up at him in the least. She just sat there and the words passed right past her... She didn't hear a word of it... Not one... her thoughts were scrambled and her emotions were numb... She did indeed feel dead inside... And the darkness of it choked her... She loved him... How could he have said those things?... well at least she thought he meant them so that's just about how she was thinking...

He got closer and closer to her, hoping that she wasn't replying because she was just too out of her mind. "Metza...please..." He put a hand out and tried to lightly touch her knee. "Listen to me...I didn't mean a word I said. I held you so close to me that I could feel your heart beat on my skin...I told you how I feel...please don't stop believe that because of a lie I told so you wouldn't get hurt." He looked at her and his eyes stung with the pain that filled up his mind.

Metza finally seemed to come out of her little state and stared at Hako's hand for a moment as his words ran through her mind and slowly made sense to her. Slowly she moved a bit and leaned up a bit to put her arms around his neck and scooted a little closer so she was hugging him and sitting closer to him comfortably.

He put his arms back around her and held her close. "Oh Metza...silly girl..." He kissed her head and felt a small tear slip down his face. "I love you, don't doubt that. Whatever I do, what ever I say or however I act I will always love you and it wont change."

She nodded quietly tightening her arms a little not willing to let go for a little bit. She leaned her head on Hako's shoulder trying to hide it when a few soft tears slid down her own cheeks. she closed her eyes just wanting to sit there in his arms... Just wanting to be in his arms and feel them around her was wonderful.

Hako took a deep breath and lifted up her face to give her a small kiss. "Oh don't cry...It's okay. Don't be sad, I've got you haven't I?" He squeezed his arms around her again and stroked her hair. "Metza...what are we going to do? Do you think they believed me?"

"You have me in tears and you wonder if they believed you?" Metza laughed a little pathetically at the thought and curled up close to Hako keeping her arms around his neck lovingly. "We do what we talked about last night... They won't say anything... They can't..." She said softly as she leaned her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes softly.

Hako couldn't laugh at that with her. He still felt the pain of seeing those tears and the pain of knowing how they were caused. "Wont it look weird? Can they still do something about it if they find out we were in love, after you've..." His eyes flicked down, as he tried not to think about the pain she would be in. "Can they do something if they find out once you're free, that I lied to them?"

Metza pulled away to look at Hako and shook her head softly then thought. "Unless they have valued evidence that proves what they say is true then... No... Though... They might try to deny the request on behalf of my records..." she said softly and trailed off thinking quietly on her records and how much trouble that alone could get her in...

He shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair. "Damnit Metza...I don't know if we're going to end up okay...If you can't get freed then...they can't do this to you." He stood up and walked around the room, stressed and angry. This became even more obvious when he grabbed one of the vases off the side and flung it at a wall, where it smashed with a loud noise. "They can't do this to you!" He fell to his knees, head in his hands, shaking with anger and sadness.

Metza watched him and her ears drooped saddened by what she was watching and what she knew wouldn't change. She stood and walked over to Hako putting her arms around him softly. "They haven't heard one bad thing about me since I almost attacked a 'potential master' before you found me... Don't worry it should all be fine... We go and as long as they get their stupid money they won't care what I am or who my records say I am... The only thing they focus on then is getting their marks off of me..." She said softly and reassuringly as she rubbed his back soothingly.

His body kept on shaking, his emotions barely controllable. He had to take a few deep breaths before talking to her, and had to go through his words carefully in his mind. He didn't want to take how he was feeling out on her. "Metza...I hate this. I'm in so much pain." He stopped to take a few more breaths and think about what he was saying. "I love you...but I feel as if the world...doesn't want me to." He shook his head not sure what he was trying to get at. I never hurt like this before...I kept people away from me to stop them hurting me like you do! The thought burnt through his mind for a moment, and his anger bubbled up again. "NO! That's not right!" His right hand turned into a fist which smashed into his left leg. It hurt, enough to make him cry out normally but his pain and anger gave him the power to stay silent.

Metza sighed and pulled her arms away just sitting next to him now. She would let him let his emotions out however he chose to... No matter what... Though she had a feel that he wouldn't hurt her so she didn't worry about that much. She wished she could say something... Anything... But there was nothing to say....

The physical pain cleared his mind of the poisonous thoughts that accused Metza of things that tore him up. "I'm...sorry." He lifted his head slightly, but his eyes were closed, leaving an emotionless looking face with what looked like dark holes. He still shook, and his anger would not leave him. He had to do something, something to stop his anger. He needed pain, to weaken his mind and free him from pent up emotion. He slowly got up and walked over to the shards of Vase laying on the floor near the wall, and the crushed rose that lay in the middle of the destruction. "Metza...don't look." He hoped that she had closed her eyes, but didn't want to look at her to find out.

Metza watched Hako worriedly and want to say something but couldn't... She couldn't do as he wished her to... She was too worried to... She was scared he would really hurt himself... She would rather him hurt her more then himself to be honest

He rolled up one of his sleeves and picked up a shard of glass. Then he put it back down and picked up the rose, and pressed it against his skin, the beautiful flower in his hand, the thorns on the stem cutting his skin. He wouldn't be hurt badly, but it would be enough. He moved to the right where the glass shards hadn't reached and sat with his back against the wall, his right arm resting palm up on his outstretched right leg. He didn't look at Metza at first, but closed his eyes, occasionally looking up at the ceiling. "Ahh..." He sighed contentedly, and had to almost peel the rose away from his skin. There was blood, but not much. Then he looked at Metza, his eyes now filled with shame at what he had just had to do.

Metza watched him and wasn't exactly surprised at what she saw. Once the rose was out of his arm she tried to hide a smirk and shook her head slowly. "wimp..." She murmured softly as she looked at his arm though didn't move. "Ah... Don't be ashamed... I was just worried you would be stupid and stab yourself with the glass and then have to go to the hospital 'cause you cut too deep or something... Na that? That's nothin..." she smirked easily and unzipped her one of her sleeves as she stood up walking over to Hako and letting him see a deep looking soft pink line across her wrist.

He smiled looking at her and took her arm, kissing gently along the scar. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't get so worked up." Inside he stung, worse then any cut he could have made. When she muttered wimp, his heart stopped and he felt something inside him hurt. She almost seemed proud of what she had done to herself. Is this a competition for you? I hurt! I didn't want it to be bad... He looked up at her silently then, his thoughts taking over. Don't...don't tell me you do? That I only deserve your care if I can hurt myself more then you've hurt yourself?

"Look... I wasn't saying that to make you feel worse... I was saying it because you could have done a lot worse and it's just my nature to teas about the marks I've left on myself... It was wrong for me to make them... It was stupid... I'm glad you didn't cut as deep as I had... I was worried that you would..." Metza said softly as she pulled her arm away from him and zipped up her sleeve then sat down and hugged him not liking his feelings being so low.

He put his arm around her and sighed. "No more. I wont let you be hurt anymore, and I wont let you hurt yourself any more either." He wiped his arm on his shirt and sighed. "I think...we need to take you out, don't we?" He smiled. "Soon as you're free, I'll take you somewhere, somewhere nice."

"I'm ready whenever you are... Ow and I only did that when I was in a deep depresion a few years back... Though a few of them are only a few months old... I won't do that anymore... I only did it when I was depressed." Metza said softly no fear in her voice, eyes, or form for what she knew was coming.

He held her tight to him for a moment. The closer she was to him, the better he felt. "Well...okay. I just worry about you, I know you can look after yourself, but I can't help it." He turned her head and kissed her slowly. "Metza...kiss me, please." He had just thought then that every kiss they had shared, it had been him to share it.

Metza smiled sofly as she put her arms around his neck and kissed Hako deeply wanting nothing more then his lips on hers... And also something deeper... Something more meaningful. She knew what she was feeling was wrong... But... She loved it... She also knew he would more then likely not understand the feeling... This deep love...

He felt amazing having her kiss him. To him, it was almost proof above all else that she really did love him. "Metza, when do you want to go? We can wait as long as you wish. I'll make it up to you, we can go anywhere or do anything you wish." He held her in his lap and stroked her hair, trying to calm himself down more then calm her.
