Metza let out a small growl as she was called a child "I am not a child! You haven't bean threw what I have so don't speek as though you know what I'm going threw and know the best for my situation!" She growled angerly as she glared at him with anger filling her eyes. She hated having anyone tell her about her situation when they knew nothing of it and had never bean threw what she had.

Hako just stood there, not responding to her anger. "I didn't say I did know what you've been through. I'm not trying to say I know what's best for your suituation, but how is breaking apart the only good things you have for no reason other to feel like you don't have to listen to anyone else going to help you at all?" He looked at her, wondering If she would always be like this, with him, with everyone. He turned away and started walking upstairs.

Metza looked down as the color and anger left her face. She felt as though she should have bean at the least smacked for how she had just acted, not that she wanted to be though that was just what she was used to. She shook her head slightly though she did not get up yet. She pondered quietly over the conversation and woundered if he was right about her.Why should I care what he thinks of me? He'll probebly just sell me off just like all the other masters I've had have done... Though why would he not disaplin me? That's what they normally do when you speak out of line... Slowly her own thoughts and pains were starting to brake her though she didn't want to admit to it.

Hako looked back at her for a moment, wondering if talking to her had achieved anything, but realising that it probably hadn't. Why would she listen to him? He walked slowly up the stairs, but instead of turing left to walk towards his own room, he walked right down the coridoor and sat in a chair outside his fathers room. He thought about everything he had learned sitting there, everything he had ever felt or thought or wanted while sitting in that spot. He might have got through life sitting on the other side of a wall from everything that was important to him, but Metza had so much less...he wanted to show her that even though she was in a suituation no one wanted to be in, she had things that she should hang onto for once.

Metza stood after some time had passed and returned to her room. She shifted into her wolfish fox form and curled up under her bed. She groaned softly as she continued to think over what she had said and done since she met Hako. She wined softly and decided she would stay under the bed unless she was forcefully removed from her spot. It was pratically suicidal and she knew it. She had not eaten in two days and she knew that if she stayed under there long enough she would not have to worry about her miserable life. On the other hand if she was pulled out Hako might decide to punish her... That did not matter to her now.

Hako woke in the early morning. He hadn't meant to fall asleep, but the sun coming through the window and onto his face told him he must have. It had been an empty, dreamless sleep. He got up, went downstairs and poked through the kitchen, wondering what the hell normall people ate in the morning. Damnit, he had no idea what to eat..."That's it! I'm eating dinner." He turned on the oven, giving up thinking about a meal he never bothered with. Just before looking through the kitchen again for dinner food he decided to knock on Metza's door. He was surprised when there was no answer and he knocked again. Still nothing. Slowly he pushed open the door and saw her bed not slept in. "Metza? Stop fooling around girl."

Metza didn't move or even respond as she was requested to come out. She stayed in the back corn under her bed. She looked at his feet her yellow eyes dark with the loss of interest. She was beyond upset. She had pondered herself into submission and depression after thinking all night with no sleep what so ever.

He looked around for her, wondering if she had left. "Look, I just wanted to know if you want anything to eat." He stood there for a little while more then walked out and back into the kitchen. "Suit yourself, see If i care..." He wondered if he was talking to himself...maybe she wasn't even there? That would be rather annoying, if she had left him to look after himself again. He started to feel rather annoyed at the fact she couldn't even go to sleep like she was suposed to.

Metza let out a soft wine as she herd his coment and curled up even more. She countinued to wine softly for a few moments. why would Fang leave me alone with this man? She thought quietly. She had stopped wining when she finally fell asleep. She had not slept in at least 24-6 hours and was verry tiered though she kept her sinces about her in case Hako came in and tried to pull her out from her hiding place.

After being in the kitchen Hako walked back into Metza's room. "Still not here?" He sat down on the bed above her, wondering where she could have got to. He opened the wardrobe and threw everything on the floor, through everything on the bed in one corner, then moved the bed onto the other side of the room. The sound of things crashing and creaking made his fury at his little run away burn wilder then it was. "For god sake you stupid child! Stop hiding!"

Metza sat up emedeatly as her bed was moved and she was no longer hidden. She sat there bewilledered with her ears flat as she looked up at Haku her eyes still dim and showed no emotion what so ever. Her tail was rapped around her paws as she sat there looking at him with her fox eyes.

He looked down at what he guessed must have been Metza. He stared at her for a while anger swirling around him, but he could do nothing. He had never lost his temper. He couldn't hurt her. He knew that deep down but he couldn't just walk away. "You pathetic little thing! I have done nothing to you, except take you in, give you somewhere to sleep and all I ask is that once in a while you clean and you decide to hide from me? You really are stupid!" He turned away and threw a decorative box that was on the side on the floor with a loud satasfying crash then stormed out the room.

Metza wined softly and went to find Hako with her head lowered, her ears down, and her tail between her legs. He didn't have to punish her into submision she was doing that all on her own. She didn't know how she would apologize to him andwith that she didn't know what he would do if she did, Would he accept it or not? Would he or could he harm her in any way other then letting her beat herself into submision? She was just about to her breaking point though she didn't want him to know that, she refused to let anyone think of her as week even if it was true.

From his room he heard a soft whining coming from downstairs and left his chair to have a look. "Metza?" He was sure it was her but where she was he didn't have a clue. He couldn't believe that after everything that he had tried to give her, and how nice he had tried to be she could still act like she did. He felt like he was being soft on her, but was pretty sure that even if he punished her she wouldn't act any differently. She seemed far to used to it for it even affect her.

Metza continued to look for Hako and finally found him. She did not go up the steps for he had origanally instructed her not to. She sat next to the bottom step her ears down, head lowered and her tail puulled around her protectively. She did not know if he would punish her though it would probebly be less painful then what her own thoughts were doing to her at this verry second. "I am wrong... Even about myself... You on the other hand are right... Even about me." Metza said softly as she sifted back and straighted her skirt, which was a little hard since she was sitting. She kept her head down and her ears stayed lowered. She was finally showing that she was braking and becoming more submissive.

When he saw here sitting there, he almost felt like he had done something terrible. She wasn't the person that she had been just a few days ago. Everything that was there was to make her herself was gone. He slowly walked down and stood infront of her, not sure what to say. "Don't be like that girl. Stand up." He gave her a little clip round the head, but nothing to actually hurt her. "I made you food. You don't have to eat it."

"I don't understand you... Why are you so different then all of my other masters? You yell at me but don't hit me, you critisize me though won't tutch me, you order me to do something though if I don't do it or egnore you you don't punish me phisicaly." Metza said softly as she looked up at Hako. She did not understand, she had never bean treated this way... Non-abusively. She did not know if he would catch the under meaning of her words. He did not punish her phisicaly though mentaly she was torn. He had made her think of things that she had never before. She was slightly stunned as to how submissive she was being right now. She had never lowered herself to stay more then a minute on the floor unless she was beaten until she could not stand.

He looked at her for a while, and realised that her past must have been a whole lot harder then he had been letting himself imagine. He sat on a step so he was a bit of a closer level to her. "You're a person...I couldn't hurt you could I? I wouldn't hurt myself or anyone else...not unless they did something that I really didn't like but...you're a person. I didn't know that It effected you so, that I hadn't." He sat there and looked at her for a while, wondering why she had even brought it up.

Mezta looked at him as he spoke, it wasn't that she liked being beaten because she didn't, it's just that that's the only way that her old masters used to get the point across to her. She had many scares that she hid under the long sleaves to her lether jacket. She only took it off when she was tortured for the slave handelers and masters wanted her to feel the pain to the fullest extent not just little slaps that would not hurt her, though the few scares on her legs showed as being rather deep from repetitive abuse. Her eyes helled the pain of even the thought of being beaten. She did not feel the full pain of it, though, after a while it would get to her. She shook her head softly not knowing what to say, for once she did not want to speak out of line or for that matter speak at all.

He watched her, and was confuzed by her silence for a while...then realised that what she was doing was thinking about what she had brought up. The pain in her eyes was more then enough for him to look away. "I like to think that I'm different from them. Come on, sitting there wont do you any good. Go and eat something, or walk around the house or go out into the garden or do something...I don't want you to be scared of doing something wrong, and I'll let that continue as long as you don't become a rebel because you can. I just want you to do things because I ask. I like to think that isn't a stupid thing to hope for?"

Metza nodded without a word and stood. She was verry quiet as she ate. She continuosly pondered over her actions and words. Why did she feel this way. She then thought about her companion and became desterbed. After she was done eating she went into her room and cleaned up a little, straightening it to what it had bean before. She looked around quietly and found the note Fang had wrote 2-3 days before. She could hardly stand what she read and soon became even more depresed then she already was. Her attitude and outlook dropped drimatticly and she sat on her bed, legs pulled up to chest, head on knees, and eyes closed, this is how she stayed for a good amount of time

The house was quite, and It remained that way after she had gone to her room. Hako sat in his chair reading for a while, then went to see her. He didn't have to knock, he could see her through the open door that she was in great distress. Softly he walked up to he and sat near her on her bed, unsure what to say. "Metza...what's going on?" Her silence and pulled in possition gave him the feeling that she might not want to talk, but he felt he should try anyway.

Metza didn't look at him as she pushed him the letter. This is what it read-

Dear Metza,
I will no longer be following you. I was bowned by a deal that me and your parents had made before they sold you off. They would dismiss me as a slave as long as I stayed with you as your gaurdien. The deal is no more now that your pariants are no longer living. I am sure Hako will take good care of you though I can't be completly sure. It doesn't truly matter to me eather way. You are entering adulthood yet you are still a child and unless you straighten up you will amout to nothing!...

The letter went on like that from there. Fang had no kind words in the letter and only seemed to stress the fact that she was just a stupid little kid that needed a good talking to and a hard slap in the face.

He couldn't believe that creature had writen something so terrible. He was sure that they would have been close... "I'm sorry for what I said, about you being a child. What you've been through...you've turned out a lot better then I'm sure many other people have..." He put the note down away from her and looked at her for a while. He couldn't imagine how bad she must feel. "I know it's not probably not quite what you want to hear but, at least with me you wont need him to look after you. Well, I hope you feel that way anway."

"He didn't really look after me... I thought he was with me because he wanted to be... I thought he was my friend." Metza said tightening her arms around her legs and her voice was dripping with the same exspresion on her face witch was a mixture of pain, anger, and torture. she was not cryiing, she was too upset to. Her ears were down giving a direct clue to her feelings.
