Metza built up her strength to speak a few words though not enough to say a full sentance. "Poison... demon... poison." She choacked as she tried to breathe right. She hoped he at least new a hospital or something to take her to... Otherwise there was nothing they could do... This fact scared her deaply. What if he doesn't know where to take me? What will happen then? Will this pass or kill me? Ow please let him know where to go and if not let him kill me before the poison so I don't suffer. Metza thought to herself vanely hoping she would live and Hako would know where to take her to get help.

He nodded and went out the room and picked up the phone, having a hurried conversation with the emergency services. He felt almost angry when the woman on the phone said they would be there soon, but knew better then to loose his temper with something no one could help. He went back to her and shook her gently to make sure she was still able to hear him. "I called the hospital, It wont be long now. Just try and stay awake. You're going to be fine." He smiled at her. "Metza...please, next time something's wrong tell me. If I hadn't have come back in then I would never have known..." He tried to show her that he wasn't mad at her, just that for some reason he cared about her. A rare and hard to understand occurrence in his own eyes.

Metza tried to speak again she tried to say she was sorry but the words wouldn't come out. She cringed deeply and closed her eyes panting harder and harder. The ambulance came and one of the doctors came knocking on the door almost urgently since they knew this was serious and they needed to make sure this was the right place.

Haku jumped up at the sound of what he presumed correctly was the doctors knocking at the door. He almost ran to the door, and opened it as fast as she can. "She's in there Sir." He pointed to the open door of Metza's room, not wasting time with pleasantries as she lay most possibly dying. "She's finding it extremely hard to breathe." It scared him to say that, realising just how bad it was from their reaction. Please be okay...your not allowed to die. He followed them into her room and looked at her. In only a little while, she had gone from laughing and almost acting free to barely alive and it showed. He was almost shocked by how much he cared, but he decided that if anything, that was the least important thing to deal with right then.

The doctor and a few others such as other doctors and nurses came in and soon had the cause of the problem found and were going to treat it soon though they were trying to get Metza's breathing up first which would only take about five minutes. "I request that you stay out here while we are trying to relieve her of the poison though if you would rather be in there I warn you, it will not be pleasant and... We won't just treat from the back of the neck. I don't know how sensitive she is to others, especially her masters seeing her, though I do know that it's not necessarily her choice." The man said to Hako already knowing Metza was a slave by the phone call they received.

Hako looked at Metza and stood a little closer to her. "Metza, can you hear me? If you can move a little bit, even if its just screwing your eyes up a little bit, do so if you would like me to stay. It's up to you." He wasn't sure if she could even hear him, let alone respond but he felt like it was the right thing to do. She may have been his slave but this was a choice he felt shouldn't be made by him. Either way, as long as she got better, It didn't matter the greatest amount to him.

Metza's eyes opened slightly as she herd Hako speak, she was guessing to her. Slowly she processed the words and meanings of them and blinked once knowing that meant yes for body language... Though she didn't know if he knew that. Her breathing had bean slowly returning to a more natural breath and that was pleasing to the doctors though she wasn't doing well at all. She may not have felt comfortable knowing Hako would 'see' her but she didn't want him to leave which shocked her seriously.

He saw her blink, and nodded moving to a corner of the room where he wouldn't be in the way, but he could still see her. He was surprised she had said yes to him. He was pleased to hear he breathing a little better, but knew that wasn't the most important thing that needed to happen. He tried to listen to what the doctors were saying but it wasn't easy, and in the end he gave up as most of it he didn't understand anyway. He hoped the poison hadn't spread too far, and that she would be okay.

The doctors had Metza take off her jacket though she didn't want to remove the tube top she wore underneath and they understood that though they told her if they had to they would take the top off of her so they could help and she agreed. The tube top revealed the top of her back, her shoulders, her arms, and part of her chest to be covered in long scares and some seemed slightly fresh... After about an hour of Metza trying to muffle her screams in a pillow and then having to finally pull off her top to get to some deepened poison they were finally done and they had the covers pulled over Metza's shoulders as she slept after the procedure was done. "She should be fine now though she'll need to take this twice a day and the bandages will need to be changed three or four times a day. She will be asleep the rest of the day and if she does wake up give her some pain medicine and have her go back to sleep." The doctor instructed before leaving.

Hako took the pills from the doctor as he left, and heard the front door close behind them. He put them on the side and pulled up a chair next to Metza's bed where she was sleeping. He didn't want to disturb her sleep but he gently ran a hand over her hair. He had felt something pulling him inside while she was screaming that told him to do something to make it better, and although it was too late he felt he should still do something. He made sure for a few minutes that she was sleeping okay, then dozed off, resting his head on his arms, and his arms on the bedside desk.

Metza woke up half way through the night from a spasm that made her yelp in pain and she looked over to Hako after calming her nerves a bit. He stayed in here?.... He stayed in here when they were doing the procedure as well... Was it just me or when I could look did he have a pained expression on his face?... I wish now that I had told him that it was poison in that wound or at least told him how much it hurt before this had happened. She thought quietly and out of curiosity to see if this was real she reached out slightly and touched his hand then pulled back finding that it was. The covers were pulled around her chest though the doctor had bandaged her so her chest was covered... That didn't mean she still didn't like not having a real shirt on with him in the room. She let out a small gasp as another spasm took her by surprise and made a chill of pain run from the top of her neck to the middle of her back where the poison had bean taken out at.

Hako felt something touch his hand that brought him out of his light sleep. It took him a while to look up and see an awake Metza, so he didn't notice her spasm or her gasp. He smiled at her and reached over to the pill bottle on the side. "Hey, your awake? How are you feeling?" He took two pills out and put them on the table, sitting up straight and yawning. He wondered just how long he had been asleep for. He was relieved to see her awake and went to put his hand on her hair, but then thought what a stupid Idea that was. Oddly though, no matter how stupid he thought it was, he still wanted to do it or touch her hand or something although he didn't.

Metza smiled back sheepishly though it faded as another spasm rocked through the wound making her cringe. "Not the best... I hurt... Realy bad.... What happened with the procidure? Did it go ok?" she asked softly talking low as for the fact she was still hurting and her screams had made her loos her voice slightly. She looked at the pills slightly confused then thought of her pain and understood.

When he saw her cringe he suddenly felt that worried feeling shoot right back through him again. "I'm not sure, but there didn't seem to be any problems...do you think you'll be okay? I can call the doctor again if you think I should. Is there anything I can get you?" He realised after he had said that, that she had told him honestly how she was feeling...that eased his worry a little, knowing that she was more likely to just tell him the truth then to lie and say she was okay if she thought she wasn't. "I'm sorry, I'm just worried about you." He smiled, almost more to himself, after admitting that. Maybe she wouldn't think that much of it.

Metza was slightly shocked Hako had told her he was worried about her. She closed her eyes for a moment the. Reopened them to look up at him. "No, you don't have to call the doctor it's normal to be hurting after that... Are those pain meds?" she asked feeling unable to toon out the pain in her mind. She hated taking pain medison though right now she truly needed it.
(dude this is wrong but it is fine to me. Metza starting to have a thing for Hako XD she's never bean submisive before and never told the truth and she sertainly didn't toutch anyone unless she absolutely had to XP I see it as being ok since he is her master and he's the first true person to actuly care about her and shows interest in her existance. So pretty much she has a crush on him XD )

(Awww xD Hako has some feelings for her, although he doesn't really know that yet. He thinks it's just normal to feel like that to someone. He's a silly bean :3)

Hako picked up the bottle and turned in over a few times. "I don't know...the doctor just said you should have two and that I should change your bandages three times a day I think. He said If you wake up you should try and go back to sleep too." He kept looking at the bottle trying to see if it said anything. There were just some rather confusing words but nothing useful. "If you don't feel better soon, I think I have some pain stuff around...I think I saw it when I went through the cupboards." He put the bottle back down and had to stop himself from trying to put his hand on hers. He found it strange how emotionally he felt like he wanted to be close to her, the way he was worrying, but there was still such a barrier between them. "I'm sorry that it hurts, I don't think there's much I can do..."

Metza moved so she wouldn't hurt herself too bad and grabbed the bottle and started scanning the contents of it. She found the words she was looking for and put her finger under them to show Hako. 'muscul relaxing narcotic' were the words she pointed out. "It's another more tetnicle way of saying 'pain medison'" she smiled hoping that helped him understand a bit. "I know because... Well... I liked getting away with stuff." she said unable to hold back asmall smug smile. She had never been a verry good slave and almost always was trying to find a way to get away with stuff.
(I only know those words cuz I've been in and out of the hospital all my life :sweat: and I took flexerale when I had back sugery :sweat: )

Even though she smiled when she said that, he felt a cold feeling run slowly down his spine. He didn't like thinking about things that had happened to her in the past. He might not always get on with people but cruelty made him sick. "Oh, I'll try and remember that. I don't know what other time it would be useful, but I'll try anyway." He looked over at the window, but the curtains were drawn leaving him with still no idea at the time. "You should go back to sleep." He too the pills off her and put them back down to save her having to move too much.
(Ohh I hate hospitals, and anything to do with my back. Poor you >.<)

"Ow... Uh... I wasn't mean or anything to them... I just did that so I could do stuff like.. Relax or something... And not be locked in a room or cage or anything like that." Metza murmured close to a whisper having a feeling he took her words the wrong way by how his mood had changed. "Could you get me a glass of water so I can take some of those pain pills? I'm... Really... Hurting... Right now." She had to choke out the last part for she didn't like saying that she was week or in any pain that would prove to the fact she was becoming week though she knew Hako wouldn't hurt her or anything so there truly wasn't any real reason for her not to tell him.

Hako nodded and got up, coming back with a glass of water and handing it to Metza and then took two pills off the side where he had put them down earlier and handed that to her as well.. "There you go. I hope its fast working, I don't like seeing you like that." He liked that she was being honest with him, he had just noticed how open she was being with him now. "Well, you haven't caused any trouble for me so I didn't think that. Do you want anything else?" Wow...this Is weird, almost like I'm looking after her. She's acting so differently with me...

Metza propped herself up on one of her arms with a cringe as she took the pills then took a drink of water then drank the rest of it after choking a bit when one of the pills went the wrong way. She then laid back down. "No... But I was wondering something... You don't have to tell me if you don't want to though I was just curious..." She said then paused before going on. "You seem to have changed since I met you... Since you brought me up and showed me the house... Is it just me or... Am I correct?" She asked softly though didn't look at him as she spoke and tuned out his emotions not wanting to know how he felt about her question before he answered her.

He was shocked to hear what she had asked him. Although he knew the answer should be yes, he couldn't answer straight away. He knew he had, even though he didn't know why. "I...I guess I have. I didn't know It was so noticeable. I should have realised that it was." He sighed and smiled weakly. "Do you think its for the best?" Inside his head he was scolding himself for letting himself show how differently he had been feeling. It wasn't his fault. Having her around him made him act and feel differently...even if he didn't understand why.

Metza looked at Hako for a second though didn't shake her head. "No... I told you... I can feel others emotions and yours... They baffle me... I thought you had changed though didn't really notice until last night... Or was it this morning? I don't know right now though that doesn't really matter... I couldn't catch the emotions right away though I could see pain on your face every now and then when I would scream... Also I have one more question..." She said with a small smile and didn't know if she would hear his response before she fell into sleep. "Why did you stay? The doctor told you it wasn't going to be pleasant... I don't understand." She asked softly with pure confusion in her soft dark reddish brown eyes as she looked up at him. She didn't quite understand but she had slowly accepted the fact he was her master and she didn't plan on disobeying his requests and commands.

Hako mentally kicked himself when she mentioned how he had acted while she was in pain. "Well, you wanted me too. I thought that maybe me being there would make you feel a little better. Was stupid of me to think so I guess. It wasn't that bad, not really I suppose." He ran a hand through his hair and looked at her inquisitively. "Now, If you don't mind me asking, why do you care so much? You seem to be showing a whole lot of interest in how I'm acting. I'm not complaining of course." He looked back into her eyes with his deep green ones, wondering if she would actually answer him.

Metza bit he lip slightly at his first comment... Truthfully she didn't know why it made her feel better that he was in there... For someone to be there for her. "I did want you in there... I was just shocked when you stayed... I don't know why... I've never had anyone care about me even a little... Well I thought Fang did though that was stupid of me... I... I like someone caring about me... I didn't expect you to care when I met you... When I first felt your emotions towards me..." She said softly then paused again before going on... She had also paused to let a cringe of pain pass without making it worse by talking. "I thought you would be the neglectful type... One that didn't care what happened... Especially when I hid under my bed... I was scared... I was scared of you." She said with a single small laugh at the end laughing at herself for the thought of being scared of a human while she was a demon.
