Hako walked around the dark streets that were filled with eyes that watched him pass. Some full of fear, others hatred and some so used to the same old thing, hopelessness. He could hardly believe he had convinced himself to come outside, it was dirty and just being there sent shivers down his spine. He looked at hundereds of girls, guys and some he couldn't tell the difference of. After twenty minutes of wandering he was close to giiving up, untill he felt something behind him, and turned around. one more pair of eyes staired t him through the dark, but for somereason it felt different to the others. He had a good feeling about whoever they were.
Metza sat in her cage with her eyes closed and her head leaned against the wall of her cage. Her ears twitched as she herd someone approach and she let out a small growl as she sat up to glare at the same man Fang was staring at. Who the heck was this guy and why did people stay away from him like there was something wrong with him? She decided she didn't really care and leaned back against the wall. Fang growled in the direction of Hako and snapped quietly at the bares. He wasn't exactly tamed and always managed to stay with Metza no matter where she went or who her master was.
He walked slowly over to the cage he had seen those eyes from, and was greeted by a snapping of an animal which he couldn't see. He looked around and saw the person trading these lots. "How much?" The other man shrugged and opened up the cage slowly and looked in. He shrugged again Hako began to lose patentice. He was loosing it from just being there. "Name a price already!" The man looked shocked, then said a number and money changed hands. Slowly Hako knelt beside the cage, awear it may be dangerous to get too close. He had seen the cuts and bite marks on the mans hands and the price had been cheap.
Metza let out a low snarl as she saw Hako looking at her and in return Fang snapped at him again but this time with more of an anger that he was getting Metza mad. Metza glared at the man and her yellow eyes became a small bit brighter as she used them to see him better through the dark. "I warn you sir she is very easily angered and I would not suggest taking her conscience." The merchant said to Hako and Metza got a small evil smile out of it. The last person who tried to take her without knocking her out ended up passed out from repetitive hits on the head.
He stayed there unfazed for a while, then slowly stood back up. "If I cannot contol her now what will make having her home any different?" He looked back down at her. "You wish to stay there in your cage?" He waited for her to reply. If she didn't he supposed he would have to knock her out after all. He had to choose one that was trouble. As long as she was trouble he could make tidy and shut up and go out. He would have to find something to make her come back first... "Well, wish to stay here?" He didn't apriciate waiting and he started to count down in his head. He didn't expect her to be good, but he felt like he should try.
Metza let out one more small growl then looked away. She hated being in a cage though she did not like talking to people too much ether. She stayed quiet and finally Fang stopped growling and turned to look at her. He walked over to her with his wings set up slightly in curiosity. She put her hand on his head and started to scratch behind his ear. She knew she would be knocked out and she didn't really care.
He gestured to the man the knock her out, but noticed he seemed much too pleased to help. "Tell your creature to be tame girl. I'm not saying this man wouldn't be hurt but I'm sure he could do some damage back to either of you if he really wished." He nodded towards the man and he walked over to her carefully, slipping on some thick goves and picking up a rather large stick from near him. Slowly the cage was opened and a quick hit and a thudding noise were good enough for him to nod and gesture for him to try and get her home.
---------- It took all the effort he was willing to give to get her from the cage to his car, the strange fox creature following behind them. He didn't trust it but didn't dare do anything about it. If it wanted to be with her, let it. When he got her home he shut her in a room under the house that had once been a study room. Now he had changed it so he could sit on one side of some glass, and see her and she could see him. He had decided not to take the risk of letting her wake up and him be in the same room. She had been out for a while, and he hoped she would become active soon. |
(Ow waw a little too much cartoon violence you think? XD)
Fang laid next to Metza until she woke up with a grown. She sat up and rubbed her head, she had one heck of a head ache. She looked around and knew this man was not a fool by where he had put her. She didn't look at him though she knew he was there, whatching her. |
He watched her wake up and wondered what had made him choose someone so wild. After she had waken up a little bit more, he stood up and opened the door that seperated the two parts of the room and walked in. He had locked the door upstairs, she she shouldn't be able to get out. He decided that sudden or loud movements were probably a bad Idea especially as she must have a headache. He felt like he was walking into the cage of a dangerous animal, but realised he would have to face it and learn to deal with her somehow. He couldn't have a slave that stayed in her cage the whole time.
Metza still did not look at him, though he was close she still did not attack him, she had too bad of a head ache to. "Why would you get a slave that could easily kill a human such as yourself? Coerce you're less of a fool than the last one so I'll give you credit for that much." She murmured quietly then cringed as her head ache spiked. She was strong though when it came to head aches they could normally stop her for a bit. Fang sat next to Metza quietly as his eyes scanned over the man before them. His wings set on his shoulders and his head tilted to one side curiously.
He smiled and watched the fox creature look at him. “You can look after yourself. You don’t need me to be there to help you. I hope you learn to appreciate what I’m doing for you by keeping you here. I’ll give you a choice. Miss behave and you’ll be living in this room as you are for as long as I wish. Otherwise, once I learn to trust you, you may have a room of your own.” He straightened out his jacket and looked at her for a while. “I’ll give you something for the headache.”
(Fang is a winged wolf not fox... Can you please say his name in every post I almost forgot it  )
Metza finally looked up at Hako and her eyes revealed just a hint of just how much she hated being in a cage or being locked up. She had a good feeling this guy wasn't one to comfort others or to even care really, she wasn't exactly sure if she liked that. |
(Oppsy ^-^ I'll remember that and yeah I'll try and write it a little more)
He was surprised that she looked up at him, and having her eyes stare into him was something he had never felt before. "You're creature, does It have a name?" He looked away from her for a moment, then realised that he was supposed to be her master, and drew himself back together and looked back at her. He couldn't believe that in just ten minutes of her being at the house with him...she had already done something he was so unused to it almost scared him. |
Metza looked down at Fang when he asked her about him. "He is a winged wolf and his name is Deathfang. He is not 'mine' he just follows and protects me he can leave me if he truly wanted to though he does not." She explained softly "I prefer to be called Fang." Fang said his yellow eyes turning a dim blue for just a second while he spoke then returned to being yellow.
He was surprised when...Fang...or whatever it wanted to be called spoke. What had he gotten himself into? "Well then...can I trust you and Fang to be shown the house? I see no point leaving you down here for the many months and years I may keep you, and I'm sure you don't either." He almost went to put his hand out the her to help her up, but the gesture quickly became him crossing his arms, not sure why he had been overcome by such an action.
Metza sighed and stood up "He's not the one you should worry about, he's not the one you payed for." She said smugly. She did not try to run... yet. If she did she would make sure he was ether not looking or asleep. Her head pulsed slightly as her head ache only seemed to get worse. This day just couldn't get any better.
He didn't trust her. How could he? There was nothing about her that didn't scream out that she would look out for herself, and do whatever she wanted, but he hardly cared. So what if she ran away? She would be out on the streets again only to be yet again captured and put in one of those cages. How long could she repeat that? "Come on then." He turned and walked to the door he had locked and opened it. Even if she escaped, why should he care what happened to her? She was so cheap it wasn't any loss of his really. When he turned back to see if she was going to follow, he noticed that she looked a little bit odd. "I'll get you something to help you with that headache." He felt like he shouldn't bother, she had told him to do it almost and she must have known what would happen...but he couldn't just leave her like that untill she felt better.
(Please please please start saying his name >< that really bugs me when people do that.)
Metza sighed and followed Hako. She did not quite feel like running so far the only times she had was when her master was very abusive towards her for no reason. Her attitude was dropping from her normal anger to mere aggravation for her head ache. |
Hako lead Metza upstairs, and kept a good eye on her to make sure she didn't touch anything. He showed her around most of the rooms, except the top floor that had his room and his fathers old room on it. He had decided that no one should be allowed up there and cirtainly no one should ever be allowed in his fathers room. "Sit if you wish." Hako walked into another room for a moment, then came out and handed Metza something in a glass. "It will make you better." He looked over the room while he waited for her. Nothing was organised, things lay wherever he had put them, but everything was spotless. No marks, no dust. Hako felt so much better now he was home from those dark dirty parts of town he had visited.
Metza looked at the oddly colored liquid and shrugged before drinking it. She gagged slightly at the taste though got over it quickly. She looked at Hako curiously, her inner hyperness was starting to show a little. *It's almost like she's bypoler XD*
"You'll be better soon." Hako took the glass off Metza before she put it down and put it on the third shelf of a book case next to him. "I dont have many rules ok? As long as you behave then you can treat this place almost like your home...but you must still obay me. I wont ask anything of you today. Never go upstairs, thats what my room is. If you must come up, and I mean must, that's if its urgent then come up but my room is the only one you go in. It's the door with a star. Also, never ever move anything untill I tell you. If I tell you to clean, you do it without moving anything." He looked at her and had to look away from her eyes. He didnt like someone looking at him. He was too used to not exsisting. "A...anything you need before I show you around a bit more?"
"Nope." She said looking down at Fang and smiled. She wasn't so nosy as to peek and look around places she was told not to. She thought of someones bed room being a privet place that no one should go in unless asked, invited, or told to. "Do you have a name? That would be nice to know... You should know mine unless you just completely skipped reading the sine next to that ratty old cage." She said curiously.
He smiled and nodded to Metza. "Yeah I know your name, Metza." He looked at the table, and moved half a broken pencil about a centimeter to the right. "Hako." He didn't like telling her his name. He felt like every second he spent around her, he was giving more and more of himself away. "Your room is below mine, so if I need anything I can call you and you will be able to hear me without coming up." He started to walk towards another corridor and looked at her, waiting for her to follow.
Metza nodded and followed as Hako walked to a new room. Fang folowed and let out a soft wimper because he hated being in his wolf form for so long.
