Bio: Born into the Murchison family short after her father was crowned king, she has grown from a little brat who used to give her Personal Guard hell, into a beautiful and caring woman, who spends most of her time helping the children in the village. Since she is an only child, her father allows her to do what she wishes...even if they do not approve. Her mother died shortly after her fourteenth birthday.

Bio: He was born in a little country house to a poor family. When he turned 13 his parents where in despereate need of money so he went to the king for help. He told him that he would give his parents money if he stayed and trained to be a knight. So he did and he became the best one they had and took on the job as the princesses bodyguard.

Kaira giggled as she waved good bye to the children of the village. Running a hand through her long blond hair she sighed happily and grabbed her basket. "Well... that was funner then usual.. did you hear Hannah's joke Riley?" She asked turning to her guard. "You've been awfully quite today.." She noted as she began to walk back to the castle. It was late, and she had stayed out longer then she should have.

Riley looked at her and smiled, "I haven't had much to say, my lady, but Hannahs jokes where funny." he said as he looked at her. But is eyes where else where since he was watching a few people. They have been following her all day and he didn't want anything to happen to her. He never wanted anything to happen to her.

"Well... I suppose we should head back to the castle... we don't want to miss dinner." She said giggling at his seriousness and taking his arm in hers. She loved just being near Riley, she had grown up with him, and they were just about as good as friends as anyone could ask for. "Thank you for letting me stay out later.." She said looking up at him smiling.

Riley smiled at her, "no problem, what are friends for." he said and hated the word friend even more every time he used it. He wanted to be more then friends, he wanted to tell her that he loved her. But he couldn't, he wasn't of noble birth and so it was forbiden to love her or anything like that. Yet he had fallen for her over the years and the only good thing about being her bodyguard was being able to stay close to her. "now come on, I want to eat." he said as he smiled at her and kept a eye on teh guys from before.

"You know, yesterday you promised to teach me how to sword fight.." She said skipping ahead of him and walking backwards taking his hands in hers. Her eyes caught the men behind them and she blinked. "Riley, are those men following us?" She whispered stopping and pressing herself against him. She tightened her grip on his hands and watched as the men stopped and talked amongst themselves. It was quite odd to see five big men that like walking together in the group at this time of night, especially on the eve of the town celebration.

Riley wrapped a protective arm around her and nodded, "yes, they have been following you all day." he whispered to her softly and kept her close to him. He didn't want anything to happen to her and he glared at the men for a few more minutes. He then started to walk agian with his arm still around her, "come on, we need to get you back to the castle before anything happens." he said to her and then whispered, "and I will teach you how to fight once your safe." and continued to walk fast with his arm around her.

Kaira stayed close to him shaking slightly. She had never been followed before, and this was scaring her. "Why?" She whispered clinging to the front of his shirt as they quickly walked towards the castle. "PRINCESS!" One of them yelled as they ran up to her. "Y..y..yes?" She asked looking behind her. "The village elder is hurt, they said you know how to five stitches?" He said bowing to her. "Y..y.yes I do.. Riley.. I have to him." She said letting go of him and making to walk towards the men.

Riley watched her go and then saw one of the guys grab her by the waist, hoist her up onto his shoulder and run. Riley growled and ran after them. "Give me back Kaira." he yelled as he charged after them. The group of guys slips up, one guy ran with the other who had Kaira and the other three stayed and started to fight him. RIley had to stop and fight them and could only watch in pain as the others ran off with his princess.

Kaira screamed and pounded her fists against the mans back as he ran with her. "RILEY!! LET ME GO!" She screamed beginning to kick. "SHUT UP!" He yelled and she felt a sharp knock to the back of the head and then everything went black. The men stayed and fought Riley. "Enough of this." One of them sighed then bashed the handle of his sword against his head, knocking him out. "Come on, we have to get to red cliffs!" He yelled then sped off.

RIley woke up hours later and cursed as he slowly got to his feet. He growled as he remembered what had happened and quickly charged down the street they had ran down. He was going to get Kaira back no matter what. It was his duty to protect her and he would do that since he loved her.

Kaira woke up hours later inside of a cell. She didn't remember where she was, then suddenly it hit her like a ton of bricks. She had be kidnapped.... Where was Riley? Why hadn't he stopped her from going with the men? Curling up on the floor she sobbed and cried.

Riley got information form people along the way as he searched for her and didnt' stop. He was never going to stop looking for her. He then got a clue from someone saying that a bunch of guys with a girl came threw and headed towards a palace. Riley quickly made his way there and was going to make sure that he got her back. He kept his hand on his sword at all times and determination was in his eyes.

Two of the men stood outside guarding the small palace. There eye's flashed as they saw a man running down the road towards them. "HALT!" They both yelled drawing their swords. It had been a week since Kaira had seen or heard anyone, and as she heard the guards she ran to the window and her eyes widened as she saw Riley.

Riley drew his sword quicker then any human and with the grace of a elf. He growled at them and locked into combat with the first person he encountered. "you WILL give me back my princess now or else you WILL die." he growled as he slashed the one in the chest and you could tell he wasn't going to stop till he got her back.

Laughing as the wound on his chest healed again, the guard roared and shifted into a giant tan wolf and growled at him. "Come on Human, lets fight!" He roared launching himself at him.

Riley growled and then with teh grace and speed of a elf eh stabed his sword into the wolf, "I am not a human, I am a proud elf." he said and then cut open the wolfs side after he pulled his sword out of him. He wasn't going to let anyone stand in his way of getting his princess back.

Kaira watched stunned as Riley killed the wolf. She couldn't believe her own eyes. Riley.. had killed something.... Crouching down against the wall she hid her face and cried. "Your going to die now!" The other guard yelled as he jumped at Jack and shifted halfway in the air. He dug his teeth into his shoulder and ripped.

Riley gasped in pain for a second as he felt the teeth enter into his skin. The wolves claws dug into his stomch and more pain surged threw him. But he managed to get his sword out and then stabbed the wolf in the head. He then shoved the wolf off of him and slowly got to his feet. He held his bleeding shoulder and stumbled towards the door as he called, " kaira are you okay?"

Kaira didn't stand up, but she looked up. "JACK I"M IN HERE!" She yelled looking at the door, waiting for him to burst through.

Riley went to the door and kicked it down. He still held his shoulder and he was glas to see kaira after all of this. He walked over to her and kneeled down infront of her, " are you hurt?" he asked her softly.

"No.... I'm fine... Did... did you kill them?" She whispered hiding behind her hair.

Riley frowned and nodded, "yes I had to since they had taken you and tryed to kill me." he said and felt horrible that she had to see him like this.

Kaira nodded and wiped her eyes. "O..o...oh." She muttered as she slinked away from him. "D..did they really kill everyone in the castle?" She asked softly.
