Watching his work at the controls curiously, Miyu struggled to hide some sort of giggle. "You really like your job, don't you? You're good at it too though, from what I can see~!" Smiling a bit more cheerfully, she ran to the door and opened it for a brief moment, closing it and running to him. "It really did change out there though. It's really neat!"

Sixkiller 04-10-2010 11:37 PM

"Job this isn't a job," he said. He looked up and smiled at her, "this is just a really long vacation. So, 500 years in the past to we stop here or go for the daily double?" He pressed a few buttons and put his hand on the leaver.

Juneberry 04-10-2010 11:45 PM

"Can I help send us there?" She laughed a bit, giggling and pointing at the lever, assuming it was what was used. Walking around him, she put a hand lightly above his, so that it wasn't touching him, but so that it was possible to, and then looked to him with great curiosity. "I'm curious what would happen if we did."

Sixkiller 04-11-2010 03:17 PM

"Go for it," he said smiling.

Juneberry 04-11-2010 03:35 PM

She smiled in return. "If I touch it it might break, so let's push the lever together, okay?" Laughing slightly, though knowing somewhat it as truth, she put her hand more directly onto his. "Whenever you're ready~!"

Sixkiller 04-11-2010 04:07 PM

"Let's go!" he said. With her hand on top of his they pulled the lever. The Tardis rocked and spun. The professor grabbed onto a railing near by. The Tardis spun and jerked wildly. Finally it settled. The Professor stood up and brushed himself off. "Well," he said," that was fun wasn't it?"

Juneberry 04-11-2010 04:58 PM

She'd fallen down upon the constant array of sudden movements, her hands gripping onto a nearby seat to keep her steady as she got up. "It was fun. Very bumpy ride though- is it usually that bumpy? I didn't notice it before..." Shrugging it off, she dusted off her skirt and ran over to him more easily, smiling. "Should we look outside?"

Sixkiller 04-11-2010 05:25 PM

"Not always, just when you're hurtling 500 years into the past with no real direction," he said adjusting his tie. Inspecting his brown suit for more dust he found none. He pushed his dark brown hair back and said, "Yes I think we should." He moved over to the door and threw it open. They were standing on a rolling plain. The wind was blowing the grass in the breeze as the sun shone down from high above. The sky was clear and the air was crisp. "Spring! Oh I love spring. Beautiful weather cold in the morning just right in the afternoon cold again in the evening just right," he said stepping out of the Tardis and breathing in deep.

Juneberry 04-11-2010 05:37 PM

Miyu laughed a bit, smiling and running after him, her brown uniform skirt billowing in the wind when she got outside. Her pink hair attempted to cloud her vision, causing her to swipe it away behind her, her eyes watching aimlessly around her, smiling along with her lips. "So nice out! I love it!" She let out a light giggle. "Some places wouldn't be this nice though, even in spring. There are countries that are always hot, some that are always cold... And some countries have the opposite weather pattern and seasons all together."

Sixkiller 04-11-2010 06:28 PM

"Indeed, well let's have a look around," he said. He started to walk off. He stopped. "Oh wait! I forgot to lock the Tardis!" he turned around and saw that is was still a phone booth. "Well that's odd," he said. He turned the key in the lock. "It's supposed to blend into it's surroundings. It should be a rock or something out here. Ah well," he turned back to Miyu. "Alright it's the year 1011, let's see where we are!"

Juneberry 04-11-2010 06:48 PM

Nodding, she followed him as easily as possible, noting that he was indeed correct that the Tardis didn't seem to blend in much at all. "Maybe it needed a break? To be honest, I have no idea. But figuring out where we are is a good idea! Any idea of how to do that though?"

Sixkiller 04-11-2010 07:07 PM

"Well... not really, I'd say we find a town or a farm. Let's get going," he said starting off through the field.

Juneberry 04-11-2010 09:51 PM

At first, when he'd started moving, she continued to stand there, as though trying to take in what was going on. However, after a few moments of her daze, she sped off to catch up to him, smiling. "You know, they say that this century was a very interesting one because even though what one calls civilization was different now then it is back home, it's also a very structured tradition even now. Quite amazing if you ask me."

Sixkiller 04-11-2010 10:10 PM

"Oh well sure. Not a whole lot going on this year in particular though. Couple of Emperors come to power Robert the 1st is born and he will be a one hell of a dart player later in life. Almost lost my shirt to him," he looked up and saw a village on the other side of a hill. "Little town in the country, not to far to walk. Let's get going," he said moving down the hill. "So, pink haired girl, in a little town in Russia. All by yourself or living with family? Mother? Father? Sister? Husband?" he asked while they walked.

Juneberry 04-11-2010 10:23 PM

"No, no, by myself I was. Mama and Papa lived in the city and, after university, I really didn't want to go back there. So I moved to the suburbs instead. Nice and quiet- much different then Moscow was. Always envied those towns when I was small so I had to see one up close when I was able." Smiling easily, she kept her hands clasped together in front of her. Laughing upon recalling what he'd mentioned about the darts she noted, "Well, he didn't get it, now did he?"

Sixkiller 04-11-2010 10:43 PM

"Well he got A shirt, not this one specifically. Here we are small village in the country, just like you like," he said smiling. They entered the walls of the village.

Juneberry 04-11-2010 10:52 PM

Sprinting past the village gates, Miyu spun around and giggled, smiling easily to the Professor. "Where should we go from here, Professor? It seems like such a nice place! I'm already excited!"

Sixkiller 04-11-2010 11:09 PM

"We'll explore of course! Adventure can be found around every corner in this line of life style," he said. He moved up to a stall and stared at it curiously. "Sir," he said to the vendor, "where are all the vegetables?"
"Vegetables? We don't have any. Every farm around here it gets ravaged every night," the vendor said.
"Every night? What causes it?" the Professor asked.
"No one knows. We've sent people out to check at night and they never return. You don't seem to be from around here," the vendor said.
"Oh, no we're travelers I'm the Professor and this is Miyu," he replied.

Juneberry 04-11-2010 11:18 PM

Miyu bowed her head slightly to agree, smiling gently. "It's nice to meet you sir. But wait... If there are no vegetables, and the farms around here are constantly ravaged... What are people eating? That can't be good for anyone..." Frowning, she put a finger to her chin. What was causing it. That's when it struck her. Hadn't the Professor said this 'Systeen Consciousness' was rather dangerous? This caused her to look at him cautiously. "Do you have any idea what might be going on?"

Sixkiller 04-11-2010 11:26 PM

"No, I imagine they're living off scraps that they can scrape up and on the cattle. Has the wheat stock been affected?"
"Yes sir! Only the cattle remains untouched. We are starving," the vendor said.
"What's your name?"
"McFinnigan, Daniel McFinnigan," Mr. McFinnigan replied.
"Well, Mr. McFinnigan, I am the Professor and I will help you out of this. Let's go look at these farms."

Juneberry 04-11-2010 11:40 PM

Miyu smiled to the man as well, nodding. When the Professor noted that he was going to help, she looked at him when she spoke. "I wanna help too! Okay?"

Sixkiller 04-12-2010 12:28 AM

"Of course! We are a package deal right?" he said. Mr McFinnigan led them out of the village and down the road.
"The farms aren't far," he said, "just over the next hill."

Juneberry 04-12-2010 11:46 PM

"Makes sense in terms of the spacing and whatnot." Her thoughts were starting to tick away again, her brain deciding to reactivate it's knowledge-based time-bomb if she didn't start relaxing the muscle. Looking up at the Professor, she smiled easily. "Shall we head there then?"

Sixkiller 04-13-2010 01:38 AM

"Yes I think so," he said They turned and made their way out of the village.

Over the next hill the professor saw the first farm. He looked around they field. It looked like a fox had come in and eaten all the plants. He walked down the aisles of torn through carrots and past the sulking scarecrow. "What's your take on this Miyu?"

Juneberry 04-13-2010 08:41 PM

Miyu knelt down. "Though it looks like foxes, I feel like that part isn't likely. The fox wouldn't eat so many types of food, after all. Something else must be working with it, if there's even a fox." She put her finger on her chin, thinking very hard about the scenario. "It doesn't seem like bandits either, though, at least..."
