Riley wandered down the luxurious crimson and gold hallway languidly, looking for someone to entertain or escort. Deathly bored, he was desperate to find someone and would settle for the first person he encountered. He stopped to look out the window and down at Reiko's gardens, sighing softly as he looked at the freshly regrown flower beds.

Aquarius poked about within the luscious gardens, marveling at all the exotic flowers Reiko had collected over the years. The wind tousled his hair and robs about, the scent of roses and baby's breath sinking into the fabric, giving the boy a natural perfume as he walked. The stardust embedded into his long starry night sky twinkled as it danced in the breeze, his eyes bright with wonder as he walked around the grounds.

Riley stared down at him with clear, bright blue eyes for several minutes before continuing down the hallway to the end of the corridor. He started to head outside to try his luck finding people outside since it was such a lovely spring day. Climbing down the stairs he watched as several of the younger children chase each other on the other side of the house.

Down in the garden, bright-eyed, red headed Aries sat in the tulips, playing with the grass and with green-eyed Rain. His mother, Lyxli, sat nearby watched over him while she tended the rosebushes near the side of the house. Aries stared up curiously at Aquarius walked past him. He reached out and touched his long silvery hair and made a big 'o' with his mouth.

The fallen star child looked down at the child and smiled at his curiosity.
"Hello, little Ghost Child" He said warmly, waving at the two young boys, "Has my hair caught your eye, sweet Aries?"

Lyxli's lover, Vaxmir, came from the house following the paths to the garden, pushing her grandsons wheelchair into the outside world. She smiled down at Sinclaire as she walked.
"See? Isn't it lovely outside, Sinclaire? The sun will do you good" She said with as much cheer as she could possibly muster, seeing the poor childs face full of aggrivation.

Sinclaire huffed, a couple strands of his burgundy hair catching his breath and flying up out of his face. He crossed his arms, glaring ahead of him, quite unhappy with this new idea of "outside time" that was required of him.
"I don't want to be outside, I'll get sunburn. I want to be inside!"

Malik followed Vaxmir as she pushed his friend out into the garden, carrying their books tightly in his arms. He chuckled at Sinclaire's complaints and ruffled his hair gently.
"Have you ever met Pantalia? She goes nuts for the sun, it can't be that bad. I know your mother wards it off like the plague."

Aries nodded eagerly and tugged a little more, urging Aquarius to sit with him. Rain stared up at him with equally big eyes but said nothing and touched nothing. Lyxli looked over at her son and grandson, wondering why they had suddenly become so quiet and she smiled at Aquarius.

Riley wandered the garden, finding that most of the people outside were already occupied and he pouted when he found that even his father was preoccupied with the other children. He continued to look for someone, hopeful to find anyone.

Sinclaire scoffed and scowled some more, rolling his eyes.
"hmm, and you people wonder why I want to stay inside!" He threw his hands up, exasperated and trying to be dramatic, just like his parents had passed down into him.

Vaxmir snorted as his actions and just pushed him into the garden, parking and locking his wheelchair under the shade of the tall willow tree.
"There, whiner. Now you're in a nice shady place to read your books. You are JUST like your mother in SO many ways!" She walked off with a smile towards Malik, making her way to Lyxli. She embraced her lover around the waist from behind, nuzzling her face into the back of the doctors neck, breathing in her unique scent.

June, finally healed and free of harm, took it upon himself to walk around the lake, admiring the sunshine and the way it glowed through the trees, watching the breeze make the shadows dance around. He smiled, finally feeling at peace and comfortable. He looked up into the garden at all the people and his smile grew wider. He was finally in a place where he could call home.

Aquarius sat down with the two younglings, crossing his legs.
"Are we going to play a game?" He said with a giggle.

Aries grinned and bounced in his seat.
"Yes! Yes!! I wanna play a game!!" He said eagerly as rain watched him and copied him, clapping his hands and shouting, "game! game! game!"

Lyxli shivered and giggled, turning her face to Vaxmir and kissing her nose. Lyxli handed her love a newly cut, thorn-less crimson red rose and smiled warmly. She turned her whole body towards her lover and wrapped her arms around her neck, clinging to her happily.

Malik sat in a chair he had carried outside with him and handed the book Sinclaire had asked him to carry outside for him.
"You should listen to your grandmother, you know. She knows what she's talking about." Malik said off-handedly as he opened his journal and began to scrawl shorthand notes in it.

Riley noticed June at the shore of the shadowy lake and made his way over with long strides. As he neared, he slowed so he wouldn't scare him.
"Hey June, how are you feeling?" He offered a greeting, watching the ducks swimming in the lake.

June smiled at the stranger, regrettably not exactly able to place him or remember him.
"I'm feeling much better, thank you," He said politely. The boy tilted his head to the side, an embarrassed look on his face.
"I'm a bit embarrassed to admit this, and I am sorry, but who are you? There are so many faces here, and I don't seem to remember everyone. I never really did get a chance to meet all of you when I was a resident..."

Sinclaire just grumbled incoherent words as he opened his book, trying to get immersed in it.

"It's okay, I'm one of Lily and Nero's sons. My name is Riley. Wesker and Birkin may have spoken of my once, as I'm one of the Pheonix children. You may know of me better in that way." Riley smiled warmly, forgiving in nature. He'd had a feeling that June wouldn't be able to place him after all the trauma he'd gone through.

Malik smiled at Sinclaire and continue to write, subconsciously keeping close to Sinclaire.

Inside another mansion across the gardens a orange haired set of twins began setting up for someone's upcoming birthday~
Nearby, Kyoya watched them to make sure they didn't hurt themselves or the mansion.

"Oh right. The Pheonix children..." he shuddered at the memory. "Its a good thing Birkin and Wesker left when they did... You guys were next on their list, I'm sad to say. I'm glad they didn't get their chance to... Well, you know." June smiled apologetically and gazed off at the lake. "I'm glad to see the lake looking so much more happier. It lightens the mood throughout this place."

Tamaki bounced around Kyoya happily, babbling on about unimportant things, but things he found interesting in any case. Everything about the blonde screamed warmth and friendliness, his mood drowning the atmosphere with gushing kindness.

"Ow!! Hikaru! That was my finger, you dolt!!" Kaoru cried out in pain and held his hand for a moment before sticking said finger in his mouth and whacking Hikaru half-heartedly with his "uninjured" hand, trying to start a little play fight with his twin.
Kyoya smiled at Tamaki warmly, half-listening to his lover as he wrote things down on his pad of paper, ignoring the twins as they started to argue.
"Tamaki, what kind of cake do you want? I'm inviting Mori and Rai over soon and I think Mori is making the cake."

Riley paled slightly and nodded.
"I heard as much... I'm thankful too. So, what exactly was your part in their schemes? Were you... like a slave or something?" Riley asked timidly, not wanting to bring up bad memories or hurt the other boy.

Hikaru rolled his eyes and put his hands on his hips, hardly able to believe that he had hit his twin that hard to receive such a reaction from him.
"You baby!" he said as he tossed a roll cray paper at Kaoru, getting it everywhere except for where it was supposed to be.
Tamaki's smile grew wider at the thought of his very own cake. He put his hands together in thought, searching for the answer within his mind.
"Hmmmm," He said thoughtfully, "I think I would fancy an angel food cake this year! With strawberry frosting! Oh doesn't that just sound lovely, Kyoya? Oh, and I want Rai to decorate it in any way he see's fit!"

June cringed as the past flooded into his mind, Wesker and Birkins voices screaming at him. He shuddered a bit, wrapping his arms around himself, holding tightly.
"I was a slave, yes... At first, I was their assistant, but when I started refusing to do some of the vile things they wanted me to do..." the poor boy took in a deep breath before continuing, "That's when they took it upon themselves to turn me into a test subject. They forced me to take things that I knew would hurt, injected putrid poisons into me, and... did other unmentionable things... But the worst thing and the last thing they did was test the new P80 on me. It had the strength to control a deity. On a human, it was capable of controlling the body for the rest of their life. The P80 turned me into a mindless drone after that..."

Kyoya chuckled and nodded, making note of it.
"I'm sure you'll make Rai a very happy young man... Although I think you shall expect a cake covered in a myriad of colors that don't make very much sense... And ducks." Kyoya snorted a little.
Kaoru scoffed and whined at his brother as the cray paper hit him.
"You're a jerk, Hikaru!!" Kaoru picked up a handful of paper stars and confetti and threw it at Hikaru, covering him in sparkles and little pieces of paper, "I'm not a baby!!!"

Riley grimaced and shook his head, disgusted by the actions of the scientists.
"But you're okay now, right? You have a new body and everything, none of that can effect you now?" He asked, looking at him nervously. Riley wasn't much of a scientist and wasn't sure how this P80 crap worked, afraid of June suddenly going loopy. Nearby a duck waddled out of the pond and quacked at them in the awkward silence.

"I beg to differ! You immature buffoon!" Hikaru grabbed a bag of unfilled balloons and tossed them all at Kaoru. "You whine about EVERYTHING!"
Tamaki giggled, "I don't mind a few-" His words were cut off by the increasing volume of the twins squabbling. He sighed and looked to his lover, asking for help wordlessly.

June couldn't help but giggle innocently at the ducks interruption. He looked up at Riley with a twinkle in his eyes.
"I am free," He said with pride.

Kaoru tackled Hikaru with a battle cry and wrestled with him on the marble floor, pulling on hair and clothes, screaming at his twin incessantly while bickering and calling him names. Kyoya scowled at their increasing mess and looked at the birthday supplies they had ALREADY managed to ruin and he set down his clipboard.
"Hikaru... Kaoru..." The dark eyed King glowered at the twins and stepped closer to stand over them menacingly.

Riley smiled and sighed in relief. He bent over and picked up the duck and stepped closer to June, petting the duck and offering for June to pet it with him. Riley welcomed June with warmth and quietly gave him congratulations on his emancipation.

Completely oblivious to Kyoya's presence, Hikaru and Kaoru continued to bicker with each other, rolling around on the floor. Hikaru growled playfully at his twin, and pinned him down tightly.
"I GOT YOU," He shouted triumphantly.

June smiled happily down at the duck, petting his down feathers.
"Such weird little ducks."

Kaoru scowled and stuck his tongue out at his brother.
"Barely!! I bet I could get free if I tried!" he argued, squirming a little under his brother's grip. As Kaoru squirmed he managed to get a glimpse of Kyoya and the stern, cold look on his face and he froze, grimacing. He looked at his brother, trying to convey a message to him silently.

the duck looked up at June and squawked loudly in his face before shaking it's tail feathers. It seemed to be dismayed at being called "weird". Riley laughed and poked the little duck's beak gently.
"He didn't mean it in a bad way, sir Duckie." Riley grinned goofily.

Hikaru almost didn't take the hint, but when he saw his brother wasn't kidding, he looked up. Words could not describe the type of fear this man could put into another. It was beyond terrifying. Hikaru put on a smile though and waved at Kyoya.
"Hey there, Mom!" He said with cheer, "Whats up?"
In the background, Tamaki was shaking his head, his palm covering his face.

June laughed melodically and pet the duck under its beak in apology.
"I approve of weirdness, little duck!"

Kyoya uttered a low growl and tapped his foot right next to Kaoru's ear.
"Get off the floor, NOW." Kyoya said sternly, barely raising his voice. He pointed over at the still packaged supplies.
"Put up decorations, clean up the ruined ones, if you ruin anyMORE, I will ruin YOU." His eyes were darker than the bottom of the sea as he spat the angry words out.
Kaoru squealed and attempted to get up, struggling out from underneath Hikaru.

QUACK
Riley laughed and set down the duck and it waddled back over to the water. It swam easily back into the water and promptly dropped a bead of light.

"Jeez, Kyoya, is it that time of the month already?" Hikaru hurried up off the floor, helping his brother up as he did. He started to clean up the mess as Kaoru began to set up with the decorations they hadn't damaged.
Tamaki sighed and looked over as Mori and Rai walked into the room. He smiled brightly at them and greeted them warmly.
"my friends! Hello!"
Rai smiled wide and ran to Tamaki, giving him a big hug.
"Hai Tamtam!!! You read for a good birthday!? <3"

June started to laugh uncontrollably, amused by the strange creatures.

Kyoya snarled and rolled his eyes.
"I will not grace that with a reply. Just make sure you don't make Tamaki cry on his birthday and I might let you live to see your own." The Dark Lord warned before turning his back to the twins and joining Tamaki, Rai, and Mori.
"Psh, what a tight ass. Hika, we should put a coal up his ass one of these days. In a week we'll get a diamond!" Kaoru giggled and turned back to help his twin with the decorations, "I had fun with our little tussle, by the way." The younger twin wiggled his eyebrows at his brother suggestively.
Mori smiled at Tamaki and hugged his friend warmly, kissing each of his cheeks all french-like. <3<3<3

Riley grinned, "So you doing anything today? You wanna come chill with me?"

Hikaru grinned and went to his work.
"You always do, brother. You always do."
Tamaki began to talk nonsense again with Rai, happy to see all his friends together again. Rai listened intently, he and Tamaki quite alike.

June flushed softly and looked up at Riley timidly.
"You mean you're inviting me...? Wow... No ones confronted me yet. they're all scared of me."

Riley stared, "Scared? why would they be scared of you? You're harmless!" He grinned toothily and pulled June closer.
"And of course I'm inviting you, what else does it sound like?"

Kaoru stuck his tongue out at his brother playfully and swatted his ass before going back to hanging up decorations.
Mori went over to the twins to help them while Rai babbled on to Tamaki and to make sure the twins didn't get into anymore trouble.
Kyoya watched his lover for a few more minutes before excusing himself to go upstairs.

June shrugged his shoulders, staring at his feet, unsure of how to put his thoughts into words.
"Well... They all think I'm still... I'm still Wesker and Birkin's slave. That I'll snap and kill everyone."

Tamaki watched Kyoya go upstairs, then started to whisper with his small companion.
"Shall we go spy on Kyoya, Rai?" He said with an impish smile.
Rai grinned wickedly and nodded his head wildly, agreeing to the wicked plot. The two began to sneak up the stairs together, walking on tip toe.

Riley scoffed, "I'll try to convince them otherwise. It's silly to deny you any friends for such a thing. You were reborn! Of course you're not their slave anymore." Riley frowned and cross his arms.

The twins noticed their king going upstairs with Rai after his lover and them frowned in unison.
"Milord!! Oh Milord!! Come see the decorations!!" Kaoru called, hopeful that Tamaki would return to them. Mori looked at them suspiciously, wondering if they were purposely trying to keep them away from Kyoya.
