"I'm pretty sure I have second, too." Hayner nodded, "We gonna sit with your friends or what?" He thought Roxas had second, too...but that could prove messy.
"I was thinking we could put Rai and Fuu on one side of the table...if any of your friends are in second, we could put them on the opposite end...and we could sit in the middle," Seifer suggested, attempting to compromise.
"That could work...as long as Roxas doesn't have to sit next to Rai." The tables were circular, "Fuu would have to sit between him and Rai or shit would hit the fan." Because Roxas was strangely violent lately.
"That could work. I'll tell them to behave," Seifer assured him. "I'm prepared to deal with Roxas, if needed. But you have to help me. If something does happen, that is."
"I'll do my best with Rox...but he's kind of...been angrier than usual." Hayner sighed. "I'm not gonna let you deck him, you know that, right? He's my best friend."
"If he decks me, I have the right to deck him back, however. That's self-defense," Seifer reasoned, pointedly. "I won't incite anything."
"If he tries, I'll deck him." Hayner sighed, shaking his head. "If he starts something, let me handle it." He was, more or less, the leader.
"All right. But if he seriously hurts you, then I'm decking him," Seifer grumbled. Just the thought of Roxas trying to beat on Hayner wanted to make him strangle the other boy.
"I doubt he'd hit me back..." But, deep down, Hayner wasn't so sure. A pause, and then he gave a smug grin to the other. "You'd beat someone up for me?" It was normal when it was other people, but someone so close...that made him happy.
"Well, we'll see. And of course I would. Why wouldn't I?" Seifer retorted, grinning. "It's fun. And I wouldn't want you getting hurt, either."
"Just...seems odd hearing you protecting me, instead of being the one threatening to punch my lights out, I guess." Hayner replied with a shrug. "It'd be like hearing Olette cuss or Fuu saying more than three words at once."
"That is sort of strange to think about. Actually, I've heard Fuu say more than three words at once. You should hear her when she's scolding Rai for doing something exceedingly stupid," Seifer offered, raising an eyebrow. "Even I'm intimidated."
"That's weird...I guess I've never seen her say anything with more than three words." A pause, "And I think I heard Olette cuss once. It was like...watching a baby throw up."
"More like watching a banana turn purple," Seifer drawled. "A puking baby is common thing. But I bet that was interesting to see and hear."
"...well, I meant...with the baby thing...it was like, watching a baby puke for the first time. Like, it's all cute and adorable and then BLEH it's all disgusting and you never want to look at it again." Hayner laughed softly, "But the banana thing works, too."
Seifer chuckled, then cuddled with him. "Mm...I suppose it does..." He sounded tired.
"You can go take a nap in my room, if you want." Hayner offered, kissing gently at his jaw. "I don't want to keep you up if you need more sleep."
"No, no..." Seifer groaned, straightening himself a bit. "I'll just need a bunch of energy drinks to keep me going through the day." Seifer couldn't stand coffee.
"Ahh...I'd get the new Monsters..." He offered, "It's like...Car-Fluid-Dew." But it was said together so it sounded funny.
(( That actually happened. XD )) |
Seifer snickered. "Heh...all right, then. Time check?" He wanted to make sure they had enough time to get up, get prepared, and get Hayner's mother set up to post the pictures.
"Seifer...it was 3:30 when we got in, we haven't been here for ten minutes. Calm down." Hayner replied, kissing his lips. "If you don't, I'll have to make you even tireder." And run the risk of being even more tired, himself.
"Oh, no you don't." Seifer arched an eyebrow. "If we try something small, it'll blow up into something gigantic, and you'll end up even more sore than before. You know that's what'll happen. Am I right?"
A light blush worked onto his cheeks. "Shut up..." He mumbled, giving a playful and light punch to the other's chest. But he knew Seifer was right; it would likely end up that way.
"Our best bet would be to clean up, hop out of the tub, and head back to your room and cuddle on the floor, with a spare blanket and some pillows," Seifer suggested. "And then wait until it's time. But we would need to set the alarm, then. In case we fall asleep."
"Mm...if we can find a spot on the floor big enough to lay in." Hayner replied with a soft laugh, shaking his head. "My room's a mess." He added, licking his lips.
