Tenshi walked into the living room, otherwise known as the library. Her golden brown eyes searched the room before saying,"Come out Rex, I know you're there."
Rex popped out from behind the piano,"Boo!" He shouted.
"Okay, come with me okay? I'll show you something....." She and Rex walked over to a bookshelf on the opposite side of the room and pulled different books unknown order. Then the bookshelf moved over and stairs that led down somewhere appeared. Tenshi held the trembling Rex's hand, and descended down in to the darkness below.
After walked in, the books put themselves back on the shelves and the entrance slowly closed by itself.

Lance got up and let out a huge sigh of relief. He then went to the staircase and whisperd up loudly to the others. "Hey guys, come downstairs and check this out"

Torrence jumped at the sudden voice that could be heard from downstairs. It was Lance. She was glad that the people living here didnt hear her or anyone else while they were here. Instead of climbing out the window she peered into the halway and then walked out of the room. Coming up on the stairs she looked at Lance. She gave him a look of 'why did you just do that' then walked down the stairs towards the two boys. "Youve got to be quiet." She whispered. "Im glad you two got in alright.." Looking around she saw that there were book shelves everywhere. This place was amazing to her. She started to walk towards them just to see all the books that were there, as if to find a clue about the guy.

"It's the bookshelf" Lance whisperd. "When the books are rearranged, a hidden door opens to reveal a staircase. I saw a girl take aboy down there just a second ago"

Jamie peered over the sofa. He saw Lance and Torrence looking at a bookshelf. He stood up and moved over to them. He stared at the bookshelf. "It's a shame we don't have anything to lift the finger prints," he said peering at the books.

Torrence listened to what Jamie had said. "Jamie your a genius" She said happily. An idea had come to her after he had said something. She ran up to him, kissed him on the cheek then ran quietly up the stairs to the bathroom where she found what she was looking for. Blush... Powdered blush and a brush to go with it. She ran back down the stairs quietly again. Finally she got the the book shelfs and started dusting delicately for prints.

Torrence had learned this trick because her dad was a cop and she had found it interesting to try to do a cops job. He always left her puzzels, trying to help her prepare for what she wanted to do in the future. She had always wanted to follow in her father's footsteps and become a cop. She practiced everyday and sometimes used it to get Arix out of trouble. Now she could use it to her advantage. After a few minutes of dusting the books she found what she was looking for and pulled on all the books that had recent prints on them. She would have to wipe them down quickly so that they didnt get caught of course. The door opened as she started wiping down the books quickly. She smiled at the other two.

Arix had soon walked towards the top of the stairs, hearing what Lance had called up to them, he went to the room that he saw Skye go into. He grabbed her hand and lead her down the stairs to where everyone else was at. He came in just in time to hear what was being said, he quickly moved over to where Torrence was standing at, still having a hold on Skye's hand. “You my dear Torrence are a genius.” he whispered softly but loud enough for everyone to hear him, he was grinning, he had gotten into a lot of trouble in the past and Torrence had always been there to get him out of it. Most people thought they were datting and he didn't discourage it, they weren't but they did have a bond that was simular to it, a brother and sister bond to be exact. They were simular in some ways, she was the cop in the group and he was the convict, he still had trouble figuring out what the other three were in the group, maybe it was because he didn't spend as much time with them as he did with Torrence.

Jamie blushed a little as Torrence kissed him. He coughed silently and adjusted his glasses. He watched as she dusted the books and opened the door. He saw Airx come downstairs with Skye. He heard him call Torrence a genius. Jamie looked down a little and whispered "It was my idea" he looked back up at the dark stair way. "We know that at least one person is down there with a child," Jamie informed everyone.

Torrence ran back upstairs and put the make up back where she found it. Afterwards she ran back downstairs in time for Arix to call he a genius. Jamie informed her that there were at least two people down there. The girl and the boy from the room earlier that evening when they had come up to get something she had left. A book or something. She looked at the others. "Only two of us should go down for now, just in case. Maybe just one.... I volunteer." She whispered to the others.

"Yes you are a genius also Jamie but when it comes to things that a cop does...Torrence has all beat. Look we all know that i will be a convict later in my life so i should go, torrence you should stay up here, there maybe other things that might have to be figured out or looked at that i can't fathom." Arix whispered softly, he wan't about to let Torrence go down first or at all if he could help it, she was like a sister to him and he was going to protect her like a brother would. He let go of Skye's hand and pulled Torrence into a hug, after a few minutes he let her go and looked towards the other two boys. He thought that Lance should stay with the girls for protection, so that means him and Jamie could go down the stairs but he didn't know how well Jamie would cope with that thought.

Skye gasped as she realized what Airx was thinking.

"No !" she whispered. "You're not going down there on your own ! What if they find you ?"

She sighed and walked up to the open book case.

"Anyway," she said, turning her head. "I wanna find out whats going on too. By seeing it. With my own eyes."

Lance tried to calm everybody down. "I have an idea. Why don't we all go down there? That way, none of us cn get seperated and caught" Lance stuck out his hand to see who was with him.

Tenshi and Rex came upon a brightly lit room, that also had white walls. She sat Rex upon a chair and started to work with her chemistry set. There were also cages nearby as well, growls and yelps could be heard from the bars.
After a while Tenshi put down her finished product and walked to one of the cages. Inside was one of her best behaving experiments, Lucid. He was about a head taller than her, and had more dark purple-ish hair and pinkish eyes. But the weirdest thing was that he had purple wolf ears sticking out of his head.
Tenshi called out to him,"The animal hybrid experiment going well?" She asked.
Lucid smirked and stuk his tongue out at her,"Never better TenTen!"
Tenshi rolled her eyes at the petname, he was always calling her that.

Torrence looked at Arix. He couldnt get into trouble again otherwise he could go away for a long time. This time she wouldnt be able to help. They couldnt all go down there or they all could be caught with no way of escaping. Just as bad would be the fact that if they all went down, were caught and tried to run, the person in the back would be captured just because the passage way was too narrow to run up all together. "Guys... Only two people can go down there so that its not a risk. I know all of us want to but its too dangerous. Especially for Arix. If he gets caught and we get the police here he goes to jail for a long long time." She looked at Arix. "Now we can rock paper scissors or something so that we choose who goes. or we can pick up sticks or something. But not all of us can go down."

Jamie ignored Airx's comment about intelligence. Jamie listened to everyone's suggestions. "Torrence he's just as much at risk up here as he is down there. I agree that some one should stay up here to guard, but not three people. Three people should go down and two people should stand guard here," Jamie said.

"I volunteer to stay" Lance said. "But the minute that you guys are in trouble, just call and I'll rush down to help you. Remember, no one gets left behind"

“So what if they find me? So what if I get caught and go to juvie? Torrence can‘t go down there or get caught either. She is a cop’s kid, she will have it worse then I will. Besides I have done these kinds of things enough that I won‘t be able to get caught so easily.” he said to them, he wasn’t trying to be mean to them, hell Torrence’s dad didn’t like him because he was a trouble maker and if her got caught and Torrence stayed upstairs out of the way then she wouldn’t be in so much trouble. He was getting frustrated, he pulled his bandana off and started to run his hand through his hair absently as he always does when he is frustrated besides smoking.

Skye put a hand on Airx's shoulder, a desperate attempt to reassure him.

"If you guys want me to stay here, I will." she said, lowering her voice. "But, whatever we do, we better do it quickly."

She looked back down at the boy her heart leapt for and wished she the others weren't in the room. How she longed to hold onto him, to protect him.

Jamie looked around, "Guys, it's not as black and white as that. If some one downstairs is caught it's very likely we'll all be caught. Skye, you and Lance stay up here and stand guard. Call my phone if you see some one coming, then hide. Airx, Torrence, and I will go downstairs," Jamie said. He felt his legs shaking from his forced courage, but the longer they stayed at the top of the stair the longer they risked exposure. Jamie adjusted his glasses and began to make his way down the stairs slowly so as to not make any noise.

Torrence sighed. She was just about to say she would stay when Skye spoke up saying the same thing. Jamie finished the arguements between them stating who was going down and who was staying. It was settled then. She was to go with Arix and Jamie downstairs and check out what was down there. Arix was right to be concerned because she was a policemans daughter but Jamie was also right. If anyone of them were caught in here, all of them would be caught. It didnt matter who it was. "Alright, we do it your way."
