He was the same as always, checking her vitals. "That is not your concern." Of course, he had yelled at the nurse until she had reduced to tears, but there was a reason he was a good doctor, and risks and failures would not rest with his name above or on them. "It is generally a natural reaction to the therapy for your chest to tighten, however, you had a severe reaction to this, which may suggest an allergy to the medication used. Which was not the medication I had ordered, but otherwise, we are keeping you overnight." He finished. He was waiting on a reaction. |
Annabelle nodded her head she knew she would have to stay she had a hint of fear in her eyes as she asked the next question " Will it happen again....I couldnt breath that scared me deeply " Annabelle looked at him hoping it would not happen again

And there was the fear she had lacked in the beginning. He knew it wouldn't be long before she began displaying it, it never took long. "It shouldn't happen again. But we can't be sure. We have to take the next treatment very carefully. There is no need to be afraid. I will take care of you." And though he meant what he said, it was dry, perhaps even uninterested. |
" Thank you" Annabelle laid her head back and feel asleep before she even noticed

When she woke, he was there, having checked her vitals and now writing something down on the clipboard. He flicked the tube, ridding it of bubbles before moving along. He noticed her waking and told her to go back to sleep as he left the room. |
" Good night Doctor" Annabelle feel back into a deep sleep she did not wake up until 10 hours later.

When she woke, he was standing there, looking over her charts. Everything seemed to have gone very well. He looked up as she began to stir. "You will be headed home soon, if you feel you are well enough to do so. If not, I will arrange another night for you." He waited on her response. |
Annabelle looked at him and tried to get up off of the bed but could not. " I think I should stay one more night.........but why am i so weak....." Annabelle tried with all of her strength to get up but simply could not

He watched her being unable to move and walked over, grasping her ankle and pinching, feeling the muscles all the way to her knee. The muscles did feel a little weak. "This is more than likely a result of your extreme reaction to the treatment." He stood at the foot of her bed and grasped her heel, lifting her leg into the air, letting it bend into a ninety degree angle at the knee. He pushed upwards, pressing her knee to her stomach and straightened it out, feeling the muscles as he did so. "We will have a nurse coming in every four or so hours to do the same exercise that I just did to strengthen the muscles." |
" Thank you doctor" Annabelle did not complain one bit when he pulled her leg even thought it hurt her really bad. She wanted to scream but did not. She looked into his eyes and tried to think of her little brother David who did not know she was dying.
She thought of him she fought for him. |
