Peyton spun his spaghetti on his fork, and using his spoon to keep any strays from falling, he took his first bite. The food kissed at his throat as it went down, a delicious heat warming in his stomach at the sensation. Next, he bit into his garlic bread. He didn't need the food at the moment, but it did taste heavenly, especially with the Parmesan cheese grated on top of it.

"That is true. Who am I to say no quarrels? In life there will always be those that you don't agree with. How you deal with that is your own decision. Normal mortals fight with their fists in every day life, so why can't the talented ones? I have no problem with ruffing it out, I just have a problem with using your powers for such a cause. It is not why you have them."

Embeth dived into the spaghetti. She barely bothered with chewing, letting the long noodles slide down her throat. Once the bread was closer she took a piece from the plate and took a large hungry bite. All the food was delicious! Much more delicious than she could ever make by herself at home. It was probably the best food ever. The flavors of the fresh basil and oregano blended well with the strong garlic taste. She listened to the conversation while she concentrated on eating.

Quetzalcoatl began eating, following the others' examples; since not all food or customs were the same everywhere, he had learned long ago to follow the natives when introduced to a new area.

After listening to Peyton's response, Quetzalcoatl asked "what is the role of the Elites then? Is it teacher, enforcer, or something else entirely? Also what facilities are on the grounds and in the surrounding area?"

This man really was intent on learning everything, wasn't he? "We are all of those things. The Elites are your teacher, elder, enforcer, protector, friend. We take on every role that is needed with each student. It is our duty. As for the facilities, you only have access to those on the grounds. There is a mile or two of forest surrounding the school, but after a certain point you will not be able to pass. It'd be impossible. Though, on grounds we have practically everything you'd need. There's training grounds, dorms, this dining area, an arena, storage units, a large garden complete with exotic fountains. As time grows, and our students express a need, we adhere to it, and build it for them. For example, the storage units were put in when we had a royal bloodline here, and they had simply too much things for their dorm. As a result, storage units are by each dorm."

Abby yawns as he reaches the front gates of the school. "Ah man! I overslept and missed the first train. I always make a bad impression when first meeting people." He notices the gates are locked so he walks around the border of the campus, viewing the forests and small animals running around. He chuckles at the sight of a small bunny and tries to pick it up. It runs away causing him to chuckle more.

Quetzalcoatl continued to eat as he processed what Peyton had said. No explicit mention of a library or a forge. The library may have been forgotten, but the lack of mention of a forge likely indicates there is no forge or workshop; that may have to change.

"Are there formal classes or training then? Is there a library or conservatory on the grounds? I'd also be interested in metal forge or workshop. Are there any significant mineral deposits or mining operations in the area? Geology is a hobby of mine, you see.

"The food is quite delicious as well. Is there a standard eating schedule?"

Peyton held back a chuckled as the fellow ranted. He had so many questions for him.

His head cocked to the side as he thought about the requests, "Oddly enough, I've never had students ask for a library or forge. If you require, or would like one, I shall have it made up immediately. Which sort of books are you wanting, Tesla? As for the geology, it is mostly forest around here. Though, if you wish for another element, we may have a large portion of the grounds inhabited with such minerals that you desire. My fellow Elite can bend the elements, and I am sure she wouldn't mind bringing in some minerals for you. As for the food, there is no schedule. I was asked to cook, so I did. There is a smaller kitchen in each dorm as well, for those students who eat more often than we do. However, they only have a stove and microwave and such, so this dining hall is open to students all day and night."

Abby once again yawned as he didn't have much sleep last night due to being nervous for his first day. He sees a tree with a nice shade and decides to sit under it. It was around noon, so there was no point in going to school now, unless someone looks for him. He decided to just go to class tomorrow. The smell of fresh daisies helped him relax a bit as he snuggled up against the strangely soft tree bark. The same bunny he ran into earlier ended up jumping into his lap out of no where. "Whoa!" He petted it finding it nice and soft. He took out a mint from his pocket wondering if it would eat it and sure enough, it did. He kept on dosing off into the clouds until he eventually fell asleep.

"ooh looky Kyo! Fresh meat!", she said from the roof of the building hopping down to go look at what looked like a new figure or person on the ground. It looked like a boy. A new student perhaps? Either way she wanted to poke at it.

"Don't call it fresh meat. It's probaly a new student.", Kyo said non-chalantly following his sister over to the figure sitting by the daisys and trees.

Abigail stood above the boy whom appeared to be asleep, she bent down near his neck to sniff him. Snowflakes from her hair fell from her locks onto his face. "He smells good..", she said looking at Kyo. Turning back to the boy she poked him with an icy finger, "Hey you. Wake up!", she kept jabbing into his side persistantly.

Abby would start to snicker and then twitch, finally waking up to a painful jab into his side. "Owie!" He rolled over a bit as he instinctively went on the defensive. "Um, who are you guys?" He could tell that they were siblings, as they looked a bit similar. The bunny clinged his shirt as he eyed the two people down, waiting for a response.

Abigail smiled at his "owie" comment. "Hi I'm Abigail!", she said smiling sticking her hand out to him to shake. She wondered if she should take him to Pewyton or the others. Or she could always try for a midnight snack. she thought about that for a moment, Peyton should probaly see him first.

"I'm Kyo", kyo said quietly nodding to the boy. He was obviously much more calmer and quieter than his twin who was obnoxiously loud.

Quetzalcoatl finished his plate of food. He thought a moment. "A library filled with technical resources on physics, biology, chemistry, astronomy, relativity, gravity, engineering, metallurgy, textiles, history, military tactics, military philosophies, psychology, and sociology would be nice, although I'm certain some of the other students would appreciate other topics such as agriculture, cooking, literature, composition, poetry, theology, and mythology, as well as a good collection of fiction books for leisure." Quetzalcoatl had thrown in the request for books on gravity because if Embeth could control gravity, she would probably want to know more about it.

[I really like libraries and learning, so I am quite happy to have access to a university library currently. That's why the list is so long.]

"I think a building consisting of different, configurable workshops would also serve other students, but I would like a full metal-working forge.

"Where is training done? Is the a dojo on the grounds?"

Abby gave a small smile as he shook Abigail's hand. "The name's Abby, pleasure to meet you." She had a really bright personality, but sensed that there was something behind that smile. He then nodded to Kyo, acknowledging him. Kyo seemed the total opposite from Abigail. He stands up, letting the bunny run off into a bush. "So guys, students here?"

"Peyton?" I asked in confusion as I was forcefully being dragged off into some weird alleys in the campus. "Is there class in session now?" he thought to himself as the campus seemed like a ghost town .

Peyton laughed, "I think I can remember all of that. I'll organize the books in sections like that, though, so you'll know if I forgot something. How does that sound? The workshops will probably take longer to build, so seeing as you need it now we will make sure your forge is the first completed. As for the training dojo, we do have multiple training zones spread around the school grounds. Each one will adhere to each students needs, so when entering the zone, if you feel an odd tingle or pull, it is the energy collecting your information so that the area can match your needs."

Myrr had followed everyone's example happily, a smile put to her face as she took a bite of the garlic bread. Peyton's getting better at this huh? The woman listened carefully, wondering how a forge could possibly fit. The library? Okay. But a forge is huge as far as she knows... And there is no way her lovely well taken care of trees will be cut down. No way, nuh-uh, definetely not. She continued 'looking' from one another, chewing patiently on her spaghetti savouring the taste.

Abby somehow lost Abigail and Kyo. "Damn, that girl's smile smells up the air." He sighs as he wanders on the brick paths that lead to different buildings. Since he still isn't in the mindset to attend any classes tonight, he finds a nice bench a few meters away. He lays down on it and crosses his legs. He notices the clouds moving faster than normal today, causing him to expect a storm to approach tonight. He starts to fall asleep again thinking of how long he'll be at this school.

"If given a small room to serve as an interim workshop, some rocks, and some time, I can probably hasten the construction efforts. If some of the facilities were built below ground, most of the land above ground could be left pristine, and I personally prefer a subterranean working environment.

"The configurable training environments sound interesting. Tomorrow could you show me the grounds and where all of the facilities are? Also, how many other students are there and what are they like?"

Seraphin took some spaghetti and sauce, and a bit of garlic bread, and watched how the others ate. He copied them, and nibbled on some of the starchy food and sauce. It was delicious, and strange. Having to actually chew and swallow was unusual, but he enjoyed it a lot. The tastes were most peculiar. Herbs, meat, tomatoes... things he had only ever seen pictures of. He chewed slowly, not wanting to wolf it down and ruin the tastes, that seemed so delicate and strong. He swallowed, before replying to Megumi. "My home, well, it's not beautiful or ugly. It's hardly as interesting and intricate as your home sounds. Everthing is white. Buildings made out of pure white marble. The sky, the floor, different shades of white. It makes everything seem larger and yet claustrophobic. Brilliant statues gleam in every street. People are joyous and solemn, but they do not lose their class, elegance or status at festivals." He said thoughtfully, and realised how colourless his world seemed.

Darcy prowled through the room, mind racing. She had found new cables, and was dismantling her lamp, when a sudden sound startled her. She spun round, a sudden image surprised her. An ood was standing in front of her, It's head was oval shaped, and the skin the colour of yellowing paper. It had rosy pink tentacles coming from where its mouth should be, and it was holding a brain in its gloved hands. A tube, similar to an umbillical cord, ran down from the brain and under the tentacles. It's eyes were angular, and the irises were a gentle colour. Darcy looked pleased to see the strange creature. "Delta Ood. I am pleased to see you." She said softly, and the creature nodded. "I have one thing to say to you." Delta Ood said. "Your song is ending."
"What do you mean by that?" Darcy asked in a would-be casual voice.
"Every song must end." The ood replied, in it's soft voice and it pixelled away. Just a hologram. A transmissions from billions of miles away. Darcy sank on to the bed, which was littered with screws and other metallic pieces.

The girl twirled some spaghetti in her spoon with her fork, taking a bite, making a very contend sound. The one who cooked this was great at it! She herself took the vegatarian version, well, because she is one. She didn't need to eat meat, so why eat it? Humans had terrible ways of acquiring meat, something she didn't think of as acceptable. Megumi ate patiently, listening as Seraphin spoke. She swallowed, looking at him, a bit surprised.
''Different shades of white, so no gray... Just white? That sounds rather... Overdone with the whiteness. And the people, to be honest, don't sound interesting... Rather facial.
Makes me wonder, what do you think of the colours here, not the polluted air... Not the way it smells here, but just the colours.'' she asked, wondering how it'd be... A whole white world. How... Boring. And painfull to the eyes.
Or so she thinks.

Seraphin looked furious, and attacked the pasta, eaten it without another word. That she had mocked his world, not understood what it was truly like, it infuriated him to a great extent. "I'd appreciate it if you don't insult my people or my home, valkyrie. If you do not understand something it does not give you the right to mock it, or insult it. It is my home, and it is where my heart lies." He said coldly, without even looking at her. He kept his eyes fixed on the delicious food, but he could no longer taste it. Anger had numbed the aroma, making it impossible for him to taste it anymore. He had in silence, and no longer savoured the taste and the texture. He was angry. Bitter.
He bit his tonuge not to say anything else harsh, or rash or mean. It was difficult. The anger was like a tidal wave, leaving everything behind it in ruins. Seraphin's fingers drummed a steady beat softly on the table, and he tried to act casually.

''So, Seraphin. Change my point of view. What are the festivals like?'' Megumi asked, wondering how that would look. A whole white festival... Sounds like a christmas party.
''Do the people dance together? Is there music?'' she asked, looking at him, her eyebrows quirking up.
''GOSH, you took it the exact wrong way! Why so serious? My home is very beautiful, but we don't have festivals. We have pretty much everything our hearts desire, but nothing more. The closest to a gathering we have is a competition, a showdown between two, one of a rank another thinks she deserves. I wanted you to change my point of view, tell me stuff... Do you have a moon like the earth? We don't, nor do we have weather. Our sky is a pure black litted by the white sun. How does your sky look like? And your sun? Do the people wear casual clothings? We only wear armors... Pretty boring to be honest, our nature really is the greatest thing on our planet.'' She sighed, feeling annoyed Seraphin took it wrong, maybe because she blurts so easily. She only said it sounded ficial right? She didn't say they were or anything.

Peyton nodded at Tesla, "I would be more than happy to show you around. As for the other students, there is a wide variety. However, I believe you have met a large portion of them. Most of them are in here. For the most part, the ones missing are Abigail and Kyo, who are vampire siblings, a shape shifter, some humans, an elemental, and an elf. Other than that, we're all here. The people you see in here are the ones you'll see most, probably. Some of our other students prefer not to be seen or heard. A few I've only seen once or twice," Peyton shrugged as he dipped his garlic bread in his sauce, then took a bite out of it.

Seraphin cleared his throat and began to explain. "My home is incased in what seems like a giant glass orb. The so called sky are the walls, and yet thought it seems limited, it nearly goes on forever. The exit is called Elendira, and, our festivals are most beautiful. We have fire breathers, the flames are golden and white. We have jugglers, dancers, feasts. We do not litter, or scream or shout, but we cheer and enjoy the sights and songs without the obscenity of humans. But, of course, for us empaths, merely being in the vicinity of these great events is a feast to us. Emotions running high. Our trees are crystals, created by the first Seraphim. We have a whole eco system made of living crystals. Of course, these do not supply oxygen, so we have a so called oxygen factory hidden away. Like a forest, but, trees and technology. You may call them tree-borgs. There is a whole mini-climate, and every branch is a sensor, feeding us the information we need." He paused to drink some water and eat some spaghetti.

"We wear what we wish, but from the walls, everything looks light and bright. Some of us stick with gowns, other wear more modern clothing." Seraphin said, having already forgiven Megumi. "The music we have cannot be discribed by this primitive tongue. They simply do not have a word beautiful enough." He said, smiling into the distance at the thought of those festivals.
