Emily Vane went to a normal highschool but had a penpal who lived somewhere she was familiar with. All her life she loved to eplore and be adventerous but her parents would never let her. She was usually clumsy but always did well in school, I mean she wasn't a straight A student but she had A's and B's. "Emily! Get up its time for school!" her mother yelled knowing that she would be up on her computer but said so out of habit. "Okay" emily replied back knowing her mother heard her. She was about to leave for school when she caught an email saying "meet me at north valley university" and she was curious enough to try. her penpal had recieved the same thing but no return address. So she skipped the bus and went over to the other university instead of hers.

Seth was tapping away at his keyboard when he noticed the message. "Meet me at North Valley University." he felt it was a bit strange, but it wouldn't hurt to try. He quickly grabbed a slice of toast and headed out to his car, driving off to the university as promptly as he could.

He parked and stepped outside his car, looking at the university.. Just one problem.. where exactly was he supposed to be at the university? Confused, he decided to wait by the front entrance to see if anyone came by.

A girl wandered in a field a little away from the university as a big thunderstorm rolled in just no rain, "Must be a heat storm" Emily said out loud but to herself just as the thunder boomed and lighting flashed in the sky very brightly. "Oh wow" Emily loved storms and to be out in one was just like a dream and it was cool. She was curious however what it meant to be striked by lighting and so she stood there waiting as the wind picked up it seemed to have pushed Seth towards the girl.

Seth was forced into Emily as the winds suddenly picked up. "woah..! where'd this suddenly come from?" he said out loud, looking at the girl as he grabbed onto her shoulder. "We better find a shelter from this storm.. we need to get inside before this gets worse!" he tried to shout over the wind, but it was positively howling now.. It had made it nearly impossible to move.

"I don't think its going to let us" she spoke back probally knowing he couldn't hear her as it died down quickly and lighting striked the ground near them making them fall backwards. It then hit the gorund around them in a circle with each strike formed one perfect circle and then one came from above and striked them in the center taking them away into a white formed area which was dissapearing and now they were in a new world without building and electronics and cars and such.

"Wha.. What just happened?" he said, standing up after letting go of Emily. "Where's everything? Nothing's the same.. Where are we?" Seth continued to look around, but nothing was familiar. It was all completely foreign to him, not even looking like any part of the world he recognized..

Emily was asleep on the ground next to a tree with her face facing the sky and tree above. A figure stepped out behind some trees and looked at the boy and the girl. "It worked, please, come with me please" The guy spoke wearing a wizard looking robe and picked up Emily. "You coming for answers or not?" the man asked turning slightly. (bedtime night)

"Wait.. wha- Nevermind.." he muttered, absent-mindedly following the strange man. He couldn't help but look around.. everything was so strange.. what was going on..? Seth hope this guy had answers..

After awhile they came to a house and the man went inside leaving the door open for seth while he laid the girl down on a bed so she could sleep. "Would you like some tea? or water?" the man asked. (looking 4 something go ahead and reply)

"No, I'm alright." he said, looking around the quaint home. It was sparsely decorated, like the owner wasn't around much. " Can you tell me what's going on..?" Seth asked, leaning forward.

"I called upon two young people from another deminsion who could help save this world from peril and a little later you two show up in strange clothes" He spoke adding "My name is Halivar, you can call me Havi. Usually everyone does who knows me"

"well that's great and all, Havi, but.. I think you got the wrong people.." Seth said, looking at the girl laying on the bed.

"What is your name? and hers?" Havi asked taking a drink of water from a cup. havi had long white hair with silver eyes.

"My name is seth.. and hers.. I'm not sure.." he said, looking up at Havi.

"Hm, odd name for here. You'll be quite popular. I called you upon into this world with my magic spells and we need the help of two outworlders to save this place from ruins." Havi spoke.

"What exactly are we supposed to be 'saving' you from anyway?" he inquired, looking at Havi skeptically. " and just how do you think the two of us, with no prior fighting skill would be able to help you in any sort of way?"

"First of all, you will not be saving me, but this planet itself, mostly the land we are on now since it has yet to be claimed by the dark lord Drake" Havi spoke answering his quesiton adding "Looks like your friend there is waking up" Emily sat up stretching "Morning, where am I?" Emily asked "The world of Yume, Queen of Dreams" Havi spoke "Oh okay-wait whats your name?" Emily asked just as if she was thinking about something. "Halivar, you may call me Havi m'lady" havi spoke trying to be polite. "Oh, I thought you looked familar, you're the guy I saw in my dreams, and so are you" looks to seth adding "and this room but is it all real?" Emily spoke and yet asking a question. "of course it is, would you both be able to contorl yourselfs in a dream with eachother there?" Havi spoke. "Hm, thats true" picks up a pebble from the floor and throws it at Seth's head to see if she got any reaction.

Seth paused as he let Havi's words sink in. He quickly dodged the pebble without looking, glaring at Emily for a second. "Better watch it." he warned her. "So what exactly should we do about this problem?"

The pebble bounced off the wall and hitting Seth in the back of the head "Haha, skipping stone" Emily spoke out and laughed alittle to herself when the pebble came back and hit him. Havi wasn't really paying attention much.

Seth groaned a little. He honestly hadn't expected that and was seriously hoping he wasn't going to have to be the tool of her amusement. "Anyway.. tell me a bit more about this place, Havi.."

"Not much to tell, it's the opposite of your world, and did you feel that pebble at all?" Havi asked curiously and Emily said "Sorry" kinda quietly.

"A little bit, yeah.." Seth rubbed the back of his head. "I just tried to ignore it.."

"See, that means you arn't dreaming" Emily spoke as if she was happy about it. Though she seemed pretty happy about it and looked out the window. "So what should we do while we try to find a way home or should we even try with that?" Emily asked. "Well now that Drake knows you are both the prophecy holders, he will do anything he can to capture and kill you, even in your world which means he could kill all those dear to you and may even destroy your world as we now know it" Havi spoke. Seth sighed. "We don't have much of a choice then. Look likes we'll have to stop him of everybody's going to die by us doing nothing."

"Yay cool, what first? I wanna see the land" Emily spoke "Maybe some time later-" then there was an explosion and the sound of screaming. Havi ran outside only to see that the village not to far from where he lived was caught on fire and havoc was being created. "Stay here you two" Havi spoke running out the door with his staff in his hand. "tch, yea right" Emily ran over to the door and out of it following Havi.
