Aurora could feel the sadness that Lilah was expressing and she actually felt a bit of sadness for her. It was a weird feeling, Aurora didn't feel the soft emotions. "I am truly sorry Lilah. Now you have to deal with everyone thinking you are the reason that these horrible events keep happening. I will talk to my sister and make sure the council knows it is not you. Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Let me finish." Lilah said suddenly. "...After some years, I did a few things and grew to the ranks of one of the well respected honers. Some would even say higher than a king. There are seven of us. You see, I am not only a High Elven matriarch, I am a Keeper of what we believe to be another galaxy. I won't bore you with the details, but it is pretty much what we believe to be supernatural creatures. Spirits, Ghosts and what not. It is really another form of our universe, growing." Lilah explained as she took the necklace off of her neck, holding it up. The small midnight blue jewel at the end shimmered a bit. "If you look closely, you can see it. Truly beautiful..."

Aurora grew silent as Lilah talked. "Oh..I understand." She shifted foward to take a good look at her necklace and her eyes got wide. "It is beautiful. Can those creatures come here?"

"I bring them all the time. This is heaven and Hell in some aspects." Lilah explained further. She knew the subject was very complicated. Not many people could wrap their heads around such a thing. Aurora was taking it very well.

Taking a step back Aurora tapped her foot. She was slowly wrapping her mind around what Lilah was telling her. "Can they get by without you knowing? Was that creature that no one knows about from this other universe? The one that Dagon killed."

Lilah shook her head. "They can not. The beast was a chimera from our world. They are rare beings, but the males can be very violent." She said to Aurora

Nothing seemed to add up to Aurora. Why was everything happening at once and right before she came home. "That answers my questions besides one. Why was the army here?"

"They wanted the power the small jewel possesses." Lilah answered, putting it back around her neck and clasping the back.

"Ahhh I see. Of course they want the jewl. Why didn't I think of that." Aurora was beginning to get a headache so she started rubbing her temples. "I think we need a council meeting. I still don't know what all happened when I was gone."

"The counsel members are arguing with each other more and more. And I have a great feeling that I should begin to pack for Akee is growing more and more hesitant towards me." Lilah said with a short sigh. Noticing Aurora's movements. "You have a headache now. Maybe you are over thinking and over using your power."

Airith smiled as she fixed her plate and began to eat. She giggled as she enjoyed the wonderful turkey. "You are a great cook and hunter. I wish I could cook like this. I am better at baking and making cakes and cookies. How is your dinner?" She went quite as she enjoyed her food happy to still have him and to be alive.
Akee shook her head as she followed Neko. "No Neko I want to be with you tonight. I love you Neko. Please don't go. Stay I will cook for you and besides you need some food. Do you really want to be lonely and hungry tonight?" |
Grimacing Aurora looked to the ground and stopped rubbing her temples. "My sister has told me that she is questioning you. But now that I talked to you she will be fine. I know that I want you to stay and I know Akee will to." Pausing for a moment Aurora continued after looking back up to Lilah. "The council members need to stop aruging. We need to be united. Now that I'm back it is my job to keep the peace." Aurora looked around and started rubbing her temples again. "I have over used my powers today. I've been constantly scanning everyone sice I got back and it doesn't help that I have to hear everyone's thoughts all the time. And I am definetely overthinking today," she said the last with a small laugh.

He shakes his head. "If that is what you wish of me then so be it". His hand intertwines with hers and he smiles warmly. "I love you to".

Akee blushed and smiled as she kissed him gently. "That is what I wish Neko. I am not ashamed of you Neko. I don't care if the others find out anymore. We shouldn't have to hide how we feel because we are of different Rank. The truth is if that is the real case you are a higher rank than any of us elders. You are more important than we are."

"My dinner is delicous, thank you" Dagon finished his meal. He cleaned up his plate and then walked past Airith, stroking her tail as he past.

"Need is a good word..." Lilah commented. Not really going on too much about how someone could need something for a long time, and not do anything to get it... She stood up from the stone. She was a bit shaky, but nothing the normal eye could see. damn my old form... Lilah cursed herself a lot now a days. She was getting older, and even though it did not look like it, her bones were starting to become weak. She was very much like a healthy sixty year old human. "Lets head back into the village. This place is dangerous for two." The high elf suggested, standing straight.

Airith smiled and blushed as she followed him and cleaned her plate and put it away. She leaned up and kissed his cheek as she turned and returned to his living room.

Dagon sat on the couch. "Come join me Airith" he said as he patted on one of the couch cushions.

Airith took a set beside him as she looked at her clothing. She began to blush again as she sat there. She thought about the day as she sat there thankful for being alive and alright for the most part. She turned and looked at Dagon. "I am sorry for everything today. And please don't try and kill yourself. You don't know how much it hurt to see you about to kill yourself Dagon." She kissed him deeply as she laid her head on his shoulder.

"I wasn't going to kill myself. I was going to enter another realm. The realm were I was born. I thought I wasn't wanted here, but you gave me a reason to stay" Dagon kissed Airith deeply and passionately.

Airith held his kiss as she wrapped her arms around him. She gently pulled away from his kiss as she nuzzled him and purred slightly in his ear. "Please don't leave me behind. Promise you will take me with you if you ever go. I love you Dagon and I don't want to be with out you." She said as she looked up into his eyes as tears began to form in hers from the thought of not having him.

Dagon wiped away her tears. "Do not cry. I want to be with you for all of time" Dagon then gently rubbed her ears.

Airith smiled as she kissed him again and smiled. "I love you Dagon." She whispered as she nuzzled him and smiled. She culled up next to him and closed her eyes as she enjoyed his sent and imprinted it into her memory. "Please don't leave I will stay by your side I promise."

"I know that you will, because today while you were sleeping, I did some shopping" Dagon moved from the couch. He got on one knee and presented a gold ring. "Airith, will you marry me?"

Airith's eyes widen as she stared at him. She was frozen there as she stared at him. She wanted to tell him yes but she couldn't they had just met. This was to sudden what was she suppose to say. Tears ran down her face as she stared at him. "What?.....Dagon...I-I..ugh....It is sudden don't you think?" She looked down at the ring then back at Dagon. "I want you but....it is so sudden you don't know if you will love me a week from now or not."
