Henry leaned back in his chair to move his legs up, setting his feet on the table. His father stood immediately to step over, but Jason beat him to it. He reached over and clamped his hand onto Henry's ankle. His nails twisted and grew into sharp points, each digging deep into Henry's skin.

Henry shouted and kicked Jason off, turning away to examine his ankle. His father sat back down with a chuckle, and Jason simply wiped his fingers off before returning to his food.

Maria was becomming a bit suspecious about Henry's behavior.Maria wondered why Henry acted a bit in a disgusting kind of way and why he was acting like he was.She was glad that both Jason and Henry's dad was keeping an eye on him.Maria continued eating her food though she kept an eye on Henry as well.

"Was Shinku's family of French roots as well?" Jason asked, taking another bite. Henry turned to glare at Jason and scooted forward. "Hey, you can't just do that and ignore me!" he protested. Jason paid little attention to him.

"Yep she was.Though my other friend Yaya her parents owned a bakery."Maria said with a nod."it was such a beautiful bakery too.Whenever you walked in it would feel like home.At least thats what it felt like to me."Maria said beginning to ignore Henry as well.

Henry rolled his eyes and sat back. "Jeez, you must be as old as dirt," he directed at Jason. "You already have her talking like an old woman. All this crap about food and bakeries..." he started. Jason turned again to him, his face grim and eyes narrow. "What of you, then? Maybe all your failed attempts to get under a women's skirt?" he interrupted.

Henry's face turned beet red and his eyes went wide. "H-how...?!" he stuttered, then swallowed nervously and glanced over to his father. His mouth fell open in disbelief and he shrank down into his chair. His father was hunched over the other table, shoulders shaking in silent laughter.

"So you've failed more than once?"Maria said raising an eyebrow.Maria thought it was a bit funny.Maria tried hard not to giggle though even she began to giggle a bit.

Henry turned his glare toward her, tugging his cap lower. "Bitch," he muttered, too low for his father to hear.

Maria just ingored to what Henry muttered.She was offended by it but she didn't let it get to her.She didn't care for Henry and what his thoughts were about her.Though if Henry did get her angier she would flat out kill him within seconds.Though if her demon side got the best of her and made her move her wounds' cuts would reopen in no time.

"I guess you liked to help out in the bakery, then?" Jason continued. It took everything in him not to slam Henry's face into the ground, but making a scene at such a nice place wouldn't be wise. The chef might even give him a job here later, which wouldn't be much, but it would be something. Besides, there was nothing more to gain in paying attention to the kid. He would just put up with it until Maria was done and ready to leave.

"Yep.I love bakeries.They always seem to cheer me up when i was sad when i was younger.I think now Yaya owns the bakery now because the day before my and shinku's birthday her parents were murdered."Maria explained to Jason."Though yaya was quite strong throughout her mother's death.She only had cried once.Though when she did cry she looked so pained."

Jason twirled the last strands of pasta around his plate in thought. "Yaya sounds like she took care of you the most. How was she when you last heard from her?"

"Last time i heard from her she said that she was going to take good care of the bakery and make sure that it doesn't end up abandoned.Her mother loved the bakery the most and Yaya wanted to persue her mother's dream to become a professional baker.Yaya was very close to her mother.But Yaya had a split personality so she often lost control if her emotions were bottled up."

"Strong family. It's good to hear there's still some remenant of that," Jason commented with a smile. Henry began absently kicking at the leg of the table, making the top wiggle a bit.

Maria finished eating right before Henry began kicking the table and making it wiggled.Maria now was irritated by Henry and wanted her and Jason to be away from him as far as possible."Yaya was the strongest person.Even Shinku wasn't that strong.Though the last thing i heard from her was when she was 16 and i was 13 and her boyfriend Darius died protecting her.After that she shut her emotions down.

"That would be tough to go through. What happened," Jason asked as he gathered the plates and silverware together. Henry looked up, then twisted around in his chair to look for the waiter. He soon spotted the waiter and raised a hand to wave him over.

"No one really knows what happened to Darius.All i know is that it was one of the worse fights Darius had been in.The guy he was against was immortal and there was no way of him dying.He had actually raped shinku so thats why Darius wanted him dead.But now since Darius is dead Shinku has no choice but to live with him."

Henry finally perked up again at her words, his eyes bright as he leaned forward. "So there's even more of you?" he asked in a low voice. Jason frowned, but turned to the waiter as he came over, handing the guy the empty plates and taking the bill.

"He's not like us he's way past us and plus he experiments on himself to make himeself the ultimate weapon and ultimate being.He's basically trying to make himself into some kind of god.I don't even know why he wants to do that.Maybe he wants power?"Maria said thinking for a moment."To me i don't even think its worth killing over or even worth it at all.That man...he is deadly.Even bounty hunters want him dead."

Henry grinned eagerly as she spoke, and Jason finally pushed the bill towards him, the amount on the paper wiping the others grin back off again. ~Maria, I would suggest you don't give the kid so much information~ Jason sent to her through her mind.

When Maria saw the grin.She then sighed.~Im sorry...i think i'll keep my mouth shut about that man from now on when henry is in front or nearby.~Maria sent in her head and to Jason's.~We should probably get going shouldn't we Jason?~

Jason nodded and stood, turning to the older man sitting nearby. "Thank you for your kindness, sir," he said with a slight bow. The older man waved it off. "No need. It's only duty, something the boy would benefit much from learning," he replied, looking back to Henry. The younger man had a deep scowl on his face as he rummaged through his pockets for cash.

Maria quickly shot up when she felt something run down her leg it felt like a liquid so Maria assumed it was blood and quickly stood up and walked over and stood next to Jason holding onto his arm.Maria held onto Jason's arm though because she was starting to feel her pain again.Though she couldn't tell if she was bleeding or not.She was too scared to look down on her leg where she felt the liquid if it was blood.Though she had a good guess it was.She hoped she wasn't because then probably Henry would see which would be embarrassing.~Um Jason...i think we should try to hurry because i think im starting to bleed again or it at least feels that way because its starting to hurt again and i keep feeling some kind of liquid down my legs.~Maria sent to Jason's mind.

Jason tensed, and the older man frowned at his sudden change in mood. "Excuse me, something urgent has come up," Jason apologized quickly as he swung Maria up into his arms. Then he was gone in a blink, leaving both Henry and his father looking around in confusion as to where they had gone.

Jason didn't once stop until they were inside their hotel room. He took her straight to the bathroom and set her down in the tub. "How bad does it hurt?" he asked, unsure if he should call on the docter again.

"It hurts really bad."Maria said in a pained tone looking a bit pained.All Maria wanted was for the pain and bleeding to stop.why is it bleeding so much?It hurts a lot...i hope no one saw the blood when it was bleeding.Maria thought in her head."Sorry i had to make you rush out of there."

Jason lifted up her dress and his face went white. He immediately hurried to get what towels were left, bringing a bunch over to surround her with. "Can you tell me anything that might have happened? Anything at all?" Jason asked as he tucked in the towels.
