When Maria saw his face went white she knew automatically it wasn't good news and it was quite serious.Maria was becomming scared to if they had to go get a doctor to see if the damage inside is bad."Wh-What do you mean Jason?"Maria asked a bit confuzed what he meant.

"It looks like you've ripped something open farther," Jason answered. He took one of the towels and wetted it down before returning to try and wipe the blood away. She'll be okay, he kept assuring himself as he cleaned up the blood. Just a a little mishap, that was all. All the while he was so tense though. Now, deep down, he was really scared, but this was no time to show it.

Maria's eyes widened when Jason told her she had ripped something.Maria slightly opened her legs wider though it hurt to even do so.Maria bit her lip trying not to scream or yelp from pain."H-How bad does it look?"Maria asked nervously.She had a feeling it looked pretty bad since tha pain was pretty bad too.

"Just...just don't move. I'll be right back," Jason instructed. He left the bathroom to hurry out and down to the lobby.

A short while later he was back, and came to kneel at the side of the tub at once. "I've just sent out for the same doctor. Still the same pain?"

"Yeah."Maria said with a nod.She hoped there wasn't to much damage from the inside since there was quite a lot of blood from whatever she did to rip whatever she did."im scared to how much damage there is from the inside."Maria said frowning a bit.What am i going to do if the damage is really bad?what if there is too much damage to fix?

Jason ran his hands through his hair anxiously, bowing forward to rest his forehead on the edge of the tub for a moment. Soon he looked up again, fixing her with an intent gaze. He reached over to place his hand on her shoulder, rubbing gently and trying to give a smile. "You'll be just fine. You're a demon, remember?" he tried to assure her.

Demons don't bleed so easily you know, came the voice inside his head. He gritted his teeth and ignored the voice.

Maria nodded.Im a demon yet....why wont the bleeding stop.I hope im not going to bleed out to death. Maria thought in her head.Maria hoped the doctor would come soon so he could find out how she can fix the damage.what if i have to stay in bed for weeks until i heal? Maria thought in her head.Though she wouldn't mind staying in bed for weeks and having Jason take care of her.She would actually like that.

The doctor arrived even sooner this time, not even half an hour after Jason had sent out word. The older man took one look at Maria and sighed. He set his bag down beside Jason and leaned over her to push the towels away, getting a better look. "I believe I warned you to not be so hasty while the lady heals," the doctor snapped at Jason.

"I did no such thing," Jason snapped back. "We went out for dinner. That was all."

Maria slightly blushed when the doctor had assumed Jason did it."Its true we just went to dinner."Maria said with a smile."Um doctor....how bad is the damage?"Maria asked scared to what the answer is.

The doctor checked her wounds, then reached over for his bag. "Most likely the cuts reopened from walking or a particular way you were sitting. Either way, all there is to do is like I've said before. Wash thoroughly, and make sure you keep careful."

Maria nodded."Okay...would it be safer to just stay in bed for a while or could i still be able to walk without reopening my wounds?"Maria asked the doctor looking at the doctor then at Jason.If Maria would open her wounds everytime she walked she would rather just stay in bed and do nothing.Though when and if she did that at least their was a good view from the window.

"Yes, bed rest would the best right now. Now try and stay still, i'm going to apply some disinfectant," the doctor instructed as he reached back down into the tub. A damp swab of gauze was in his hand, smelling strongly of alcohol. He began to dab at her gently.

Maria winced from it was stinging.ow it hurts. Maria thought in her head.She bit her lip trying to not scream from the pain.D-Don't scream....don't scream.... Maria also began trying not to cry.She felt embarrassed to why this felt so painful.

After the doctor had finished and left, Jason came back to pick her up gently. His face was tense as he tried to fight back his emotions. He wanted to simply rewind everything. He wanted to be back on that beach, lying under the docks, and forget about the damned boat.

But he couldn't just drop his responsiblities. Going back required more money than he had. Once he found a job here, with the possiblitity of Maria getting pregnant, it was unlikely they would ever be able to leave. All of it weighed heavily on him.

He laid Maria on the bed and took a deep, steadying breath before asking if she needed anything.

Maria shook her head when Jason asked her if she needed anything.Maria layed down with the back of her hand onto her forhead breathing steadily."I know this is probably stressing you out...you don't need to worry so much."Maria said with a smile at Jason."I'll probably just end up sleeping."Maria told Jason hoping he wouldn't worry so much.She hated how all of this was stressing him out.She didn't want him to stress out over everything.

Maria looked out the window hearing the ocean waves calmed her down easily.It made it easy for her to fall asleep.She wouldn't mind living her forever but...she wondered if she would ever see any of her old and new friends at that."Did i ever tell you that...i actually have a brother?"Maria asked trying to get his mind off of everything.

Jason managed a small smile as he sat down next to her, reaching out to take her hand. "No. What's he like?" he replied. Her words were true. He shouldn't stress out so much, at least not right now.

"He is really funny and sweet and he reminds me of you.My brother wasn't there in my childhood most of my life so i can't really remember a lot about him.He was a traveler.I think about now he's around his late 20's."Maria said holding onto Jason's hand."Though i do remember he was Shinku's brother's best friend.They went to elementary through middle school together."Maria said smiling at Jason

He use to help shinku,Devon,and me cook.We all did a lot of things together."Maria said cheerfully."And if we do have to live her together for a while...i want to do a lot of fun things with you...i don't want everything to be stressful.If everything ends up being stressful then we'll end up hating one another."Maria said frowning a bit and hugging Jason.She didn't want either of them to hate each other nor does she want their lives to be full of stress,regret and hate.

Jason rubbed her back as he held her. "Strange how fast things have been going. It's like I've woken up to life again, and now I'm having to catch up." He laughed a little. "I could never hate you, Maria. You make my life much more meaningful. I love to hear you talk about anything and everything."

Maria blushed a bit and hugged him tightly.She didn't want Jason to ever let go of her.And she never wanted to let go of him."Everything feels like its moving too fast.Life feels like its moving so much quicker than it was before i had met you.Before i hated everything about my life.I hated being stuck in a hospital not being able to do anyone.Not having anyone visit me.No one to cheer me up.But when i met you..everything just turned better for me.I was laughing again having fun.Your my first love..and my true love."Maria said with a smile.

"Sorry im getting a bit emotional.I can't really help it sometimes."Maria said with a chuckle and kissed Jason's cheek then laying her head onto his shoulders holding him,hugging him.

Jason was a bit surprised by that. He kissed her back, and laid his cheek against the top of her head. First and true love? He liked the sound of it. Maria sounded so sure and confident. It was only hearing her say that in such a day and age. Love was viewed as such a battlefield by the more advanced cultures. No one simply let their emotions flow anymore. No trust of love, or anything else for that matter.

And then there was Maria. He smiled and moved to lay down with her, keeping his arms around her. "Never apologize for being emotional. It's what makes you feel alive," he replied softly. He brushed a few strands of hair from her face and kissed her cheek.

Maria nodded and smiled at Jason.When he kissed her cheek,a light red appeared onto her cheeks.Obviously she was blushing but Maria couldn't help it.Maria loved Jason much more than she realized.She wanted to stay with Jason for as long as they both live.Even if they don't die ever.

Maria kept her head onto his shoulders but,she wrapped one of her arms over his chest and onto his other shoulder.The soothing sounds of the ocean as the boat moved along with the feeling of Jason's skin soothed her.It almost made her fall asleep.She had dosed off a couple of times but woke up.

"I love you."She spoke in a calm yet happy tone.

The next morning Jason woke with a jolt to the sound of a shrill beeping from beside his head. He blinked and looked over to the nightstand. It was the phone. He frowned and unwrapped one arm from around Maria to reach over and pick it up. Who on this island would want to call them? He severely hoped it wasn't that bastard Henry. "Hello?" he asked into the receiver.

"It really worked? How exciting!" a familiar high pitched voice stabbed into his ear. Jason wrinkled his nose and held the phone a few inched from his head. "Zain, how the hell did you get here?" he replied bitterly. A giggle answered him and Jason stared at the phone in disgust. "I didn't go anywhere, silly bear. Kara helped me with a spell that could reach you. Isn't that marvelous?"

Jason sighed and reached over again to hang up the phone. The last thing he wanted to do after just waking up was deal with Zain. He sat up and rubbed his eyes a little to wake himself up.

Maria continued sleeping.She faintly heard Jason's voice but just barely.She currently looked like she was having a good dream since she basically had a smile upon her face.She soon began to wake up opening her sapphire eyes.Maria felt extra comfortable to how she was and where she was at.She still felt like she was asleep.It was hard to keep her eyes opened.They wern't wide opened they were a bit less then half opened.She looked like a true goddess or even an angel that had woken up from her slumber.

Maria rubbed her eyes a bit waking herself up and seeing Jason on the phone.She wondered who he was talking to but didn't ask.She just waited for Jason to notice she was awake.

Jason yawned, then looked over at her and smiled. "Good morning, Maria. You look like you've had a good sleep," he commented. The phone started ringing again, but he ignored it. For a second anyway. His eyes went blank as the short conversation with Zain replayed in his head. A spell...?

He turned suddenly and snatched up the phone. "Zain, what has Kara told you?" he demanded. A short squeak of surprise answered him at first, then Zain spoke. "Well, for one thing, you look nice for your true age..." he began. "Enough of that. Do you know about Maria too?" he asked. "'Fraid I do. Kara said you were very gentleman like about it too. No biting necks or limbs, stuff like that."

Jason rubbed at his forehead irritably, not at all happy with Zain's new knowledge. But it couldn't be helped now. He was about to speak again when Zain did. "Can I talk with the little miss?" he asked in a hesitant voice. Jason sighed and handed the phone over to Maria.

Maria smiled at Jason when he spoke to her."I slept good.thanks."She said cheerfully.Though when he picked the phone up again and spoke she notice he seemed unstable a bit to whom he was taking to.Though when she heard it was Zain she wondered if everything is alright.

Maria took the phone gently when Jason handed it to her.
"Hello?"She asked in a calm but happy tone as usual.Maria was a very gentle being.Some people didn't believe how optimistic Maria could be.Some people thought she was just dense.
