"Hello Maria," Zain answered brightly. "How's the island? I bet you two are having lots more fun over there. I'm stuck in the hospital with quite an ugly bandage on my leg," he said in a pouty tone.

Maria giggled a bit."Well you need time to heal.I actually plan on staying in bed for a while."Maria said with a chuckle.Though only Jason and herself knew the reason behind why she had to stay in bed.She didn't mind staying in bed.The sounds of the island made her happy to even be there.And plus she had Jason with her.If she was alone and had to stay in bed it would be a nightmare for Maria."So how are you doing besides staying in a hospital with an ugly bandage?"She said a bit teasingly.

Jason smiled and pushed back the blankets to get up. "I'm taking a shower. Yell if you need me," he said in a low voice.
Zain gave a coy little giggle. "Kara's been keeping me company, in more ways than one. She's amazing. Oh, and she wants to talk to you. Hold on," he said. There was some crackling, then a woman's voice came through. "Hey there, Maria. I bet the island is wonderful. How long are you two planning on staying?" she asked. |
Maria smiled and nodded at Jason."Okay."She said sitting up in bed now."Thats good that you have someone keeping you company."Maria said before Zain put Kara on the phone.When Kara spoke even Maria wasn't sure how long they were staying."Well im not really too sure how long we're staying here.We might be staying here permenately."Maria said calmly but happily too.She would tell the reason for why they might be staying there permenately if Kara or and Zain asked Maria while Jason took a shower.Though Maria wanted to take a shower with him but she knew she really couldn't move because of her wound.
"We might be staying permenately because..i might be pregnant."Maria said calmly wondering when she said that if Zain heard that too. |
There was a short pause on the other end, then an echo of an excited squeal. Followed by a muffled thump and a whimper. Kara's voice returned. "Call you back soon dear. I have a patient to scold," she replied. Then there was a click as the line cut off.

Maria was a bit confuzed to what just happened.She put the phone down back to where it was.Well that was just a tad weird. Maria thought in her head.She wasn't sure if she was pregnant or not but she wont be able to tell until at least a weak or two.Maria took the brush she had on her nightstand and brushed her light blonde curly hair.Her long Hair made her look even more goddess like.I wonder what we can do today since i have to stay in bed.

Jason finished his short shower and took one of the towels hanging neatly beside the tub. The maids had been surprisingly quiet to have snuck in without his notice. Either that, or he had been much more tired than he thought. He quickly dried himself off and wrapped the towel around his waist before stepping out to check on Maria. "Feel up to taking a bath?" he asked.

Maria slightly blushed when she saw Jason only with a towel around his waist."Sounds nice."Maria said with a smile."Though..i hope you don't mind carrying me."Maria said blushing a bit.She felt a bit embarrassed that Jason had to carry her.Though she wondered if he would have to change her out of her clothes too.

Jason grinned as he walked over beside her. "Not at all," he replied, leaning forward with his arms outstretched. Her pushed aside the blankets and scooped her up into his arms to carry her toward the bathroom. He kissed her forehead once, then asked, "Will you need help undressing?" Once inside the bathroom, he paused at the side of the tub for her answer. He didn't want to assume anything.

When Maria saw Jason grin she didn't think she had seen him grin before.It was quite attractive.When Jason kissed her forhead she then leaned up and kissed his cheek.She smiled after she kissed him."Probably."Maria said blushing a bit deeper.Her cheeks went from a light pink to a dark pink.

Jason nodded and set her down carefully on the edge of the tub. He reached over to get the water started, making sure it was warm enough, then knelt down in front of her to strip off her pajamas. He was extra careful with the pants, making sure he didn't move her around too much. Then he scooted the discarded clothes aside and got to his feet. He waited for a moment while the water ran, then switched it off once the bath was half full.
He took her hand, leaning forward a little to kiss her again. "Think you can slide in yourself?" he asked. |
Maria nodded."Yep."Maria then carefully slid into the water.Once she was in the water she automatically felt relaxed."Thanks for helping me."Maria said with a smile and kissing Jason's cheek.Maria was happy she had Jason with her.If she didn't she would've probably been in pain the whole time.Luckily she wasn't feeling any pain at all.The water actually soothed her wound.At times it stung but not too bad.Maria got her hair wet along with the rest of her body.Though while she did so she began to blush since Jason as their but she didn't mind his company.She actually loved his company very much.

Jason went to get another towel for Maria and laid it out on the toilet within reach. "I'll go see about breakfast. I won't be long," he promised. He then left her to go get dressed. He found his clothes clean and neatly folded on the dresser, along with Maria's clothes.
As soon as he got dressed, the phone rang again. Jason stared at it for a moment. He knew who it might be, and still had no wish to talk to those two. But he would have to sometime soon. He sighed and left it to ring. They would call back later anyway. ---- 10 minutes later Jason returned with two bagels and some coffee. He nudged his way in through the door and set the food down on the bed. |
After Jason left,Maria then shampooed and conditioned her hair and washed her body.Once she was done Maria drained the water.She then grabbed the towel that Jason layed onto the toilet and wrapped it around her waist and stood up.She then dried off her body and stepped out of the bathroom and taking her clothes.Today she would wear a long sleeved light blue dress.She took her clothes and got dressed in the bathroom just before Jason came back.
When Jason came back Maria was drying her long hair.Her hair had gotten quite longer since she had met Jason.It was already down to her tailbone.Though she loved having long hair.It made her look much more of an angel.Even though she wasn't an angel she sure as heck looked like one. |
Jason opened the door a crack and peered in with a smile. He felt a little lighter, happier, at seeing her up and about by herself. He stepped one foot in and leaned agains the doorway. "Glad to see your doing better, Maria. Feeling hungry?" he asked.

Maria smiled and nodded."i am hungry."She said with a smile and hugged Jason.Today Maria was feeling very happy.She wasn't sure if she was having her occasional moodswings every woman had but she still felt very happy.Maybe it was because she really loved Jason and loved how he always seemed to take care of her and he loved her."Did you get anything to eat?"She asked tilting her head as she kept hugging Jason.

Jason laughed and wrapped his arms around her to carry her with him to the bed. "Nope. I thought it'd be better if I waited to eat with you," he answered. He set her down on the edge of the bed, then let her go to sit on the other side of the plate of bagels. "I brought up strawberry and plain spreads. I wasn't sure which you would prefer." He picked up one bagel and split it in half.

Maria smiled."Your so sweet.Thank you."When Jason wrapped his arms around her to carry her,she slightly blushed.Maria liked it when Jason carried her.It usually made her feel so protected.Jason was a great guy.Maria only thought she was the only person to get to see the sweet side of Jason.Maria said kissing his cheek."I actually prefer either one."Maria said happily."Though today i feel like having plain."When maria said that she thought how funny it would be if she was pregnant and telling Jason to get her what she was craving.
That would be the most fun if she was pregnant along with if Jason touched her pregnant stomache or kissed it even.Maria was excited to know if she was pregnant now.She wasn't so much scared anymore. |
Jason nodded and made her up a bagel. His mind was beginning to wander away again in thought as he handed one bagel to her. He wondered what he should do today. Maria was getting better, which he was happy for, but he was still unsure if she could go out and about. His only sure plans was to find a job. Pretty mundane stuff. Maria might not want to trail after him all day doing that. Then again, who knows. She was a wonderfully unpredictable little woman.
"I'm going out to find work today. What do you feel like doing?" Jason asked as he made up his own bagel. He frowned every once in a while as the little plastic knife bent and wobbled on the bread. |
Maria took the bagel Jason handed to her and bit into it.It was very delicious even if it was just a bagel,she enjoyed it.Maria liked it more since she was eating breakfast with Jason.Just being with Jason made her happy.When Jason told Maria he was going to find work today and what she wanted to do,Maria thought for a moment.
Maria was in the mood to actually sketch,draw today."I can sketch,draw today.I've been in the mood to do something like that."Maria said with a giggle and smiled.She bit another bite into her bagel. |
Jason tilted his head curiously as he looked at Maria. "Really? Do you like to sketch often?" he asked, then took a bite of his bagel.
A moment later the phone rang again, and Jason grumbled as he set the bagel down to pick it up. It turned out to be Henry's father, which surprised him. The man was proposing to give him a job, no paperwork neccessary, as a cashier at a local grocery store. Jason didn't know what to say at first. Having this just land in his lap was....unexpected, to say the least. He took one glance at Maria, and his mind was set. He agreed to the deal, and the other man made some smalltalk before finally hanging up. Jason set the phone back with a sigh. Then he turned to Maria with a bright smile. "Well, looks like I have a job. That was Henry's father. He needs an extra cashier at the local grocery store for the tourist season." |
"Yes.Before i ended up in the hospital i use to sketch a lot.In middle school i won our school's contest."Maria said with a smile."My mother use to draw a lot as well so you could say i got it from my mother."Maria said with a chuckle.
While Jason talked on the phone,Maria finished up her bagel and took a sip of her coffee.After Jason was done talking to Henry's father and spoke the news to Maria,Maria smiled."Wow that was fast."Maria said with a chuckle.She hoped henry's father giving Jason a job wasn't some sort of plot to lure Jason away from Maria."When do you start working?"Maria asked with a smile on her face as usual. |
"As soon as I can, today even. That is, if you feel well enough to be here alone?" Jason added. He knew Maria could protect herself, much more than he gave her credit for, but he couldn't help but to worry. He wasn't sure how much the wounds might slow her down, in her powers as well as physical strength. He reached over briefly to smooth back her hair, tucking it behind her ear and lingering a moment at the strands that curled around his fingers.

"I'll be fine.Im a grown woman.I can sketch something up for you while your gone."Maria said with a smile.Maria knew Jason was very protective of her.Maybe a bit over protective.But no matter what Maria knew Jason loved her.And being alone here wasn't so bad since it was beautiful and she could hear the ocean's waves as the boat moved.As Jason briefly smoothed back her hair behind her ear she slightly blushed."I'll be fine don't worry so much."Maria said as she leaned in toward Jason and kissed him on his lips softly.
